Pouya Reveals XXXTentacion Helped Him During His Girlfriend’s Cancer Diagnosis

Pouya is an influential figure. His early mixtapes, coupled with YouTube channel Nick and Pouya Show, influenced a generation of Florida emcees. XXXTentacion was one of these emcees, as evidenced by an interview clip that was recently posted on social media. X praised Pouya and Denzel Curry as inspirations on his sound. Pouya had never seen the interview clip prior to its resurfacing, and was so overcome with emotion that he shared his experiences with the “Sad” hitmaker on Instagram.

The rapper told followers that he was humbled by XXXTentacion’s comments. “Wow someone just sent me this, I never seen this before,” he wrote. ” Damn man, this made me happy and sad at the same time.” The real revelation came, however, when the rapper started to reflect on a difficult period in his life. A period that was alleviated, somewhat, and aided by X’s presence. Pouya revealed that X was there for him when his girlfriend, Coco, was battling cancer, and offered unconditional support in the process. “I never really talk about this but when Coco was going through cancer X would FaceTime me all the time,” he recalled. “[He’d] give me advice on how to get through it, sucks that he’s gone. Idk this s**t put a fire in me.”

Pouya Claimed XXXTentacion Gave Him Advice

Pouya’s admiration for XXXTentacion has been well-documented. The rapper penned a tribute to X on his 2019 album The South Got Something To Say. The tribute was titled “When Will I See You?” and it features bars in which X’s death prompted him to consider his own mortality. “Murder, overdose, and suicide,” he raps. “Am I the next one to die? Will I fly with Peep or fry? X is written up in the sky.” These thoughts are still weighing heavy on Pouya’s shoulders, evidently, as the rapper recently announced his plans to retire from hip-hop.

Days before his post on XXXTentacion, Pouya issued an official retirement statement. He informed fans that he will stop releasing music after his upcoming album, Album 6. “After grey day and my album, I’m going to be stepping away from music,” he wrote. “It’s been f**king fun but I’m exhausted. Love you f**kers though.” There’s no set release date for Album 6, but fans eager to listen to more Pouya can currently stream his new EP All But 6, Vol. 2 with Fat Nick.

However, it’s the second time this week Simmons has had to speak on his health. However, Simmons is not the only celebrity to recently reveal a cancer diagnosis. Olivia Munn has recently revealed that she has been privately battling breast cancer since April 2023. Munn said in a statement posted to social media that she has had “four surgeries and more days in bed than I can count” since her diagnosis. Furthermore, Munn revealed that she had chosen to keep her battle private so she could “get through some of the hardest parts before sharing.”

Additionally, Munn’s statement was one of thanks. She shared gratitude to everyone from her family to her doctors. However, one paragraph was reserved for comedian John Mulaney. Mulaney and Munn share a young son, Malcolm. “I’m so thankful to John for the nights he spent researching what every operation and medication meant and what side effects and recovery I could expect. For being there before I went into each surgery and being there when I woke up. [He] always placed framed photos of our little boy Malcolm so it would be the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes,” Munn wrote lovingly.

It’s been an undoubtedly tough few months for Michael Strahan and his family. In January, his daughter Isabella revealed that she’d been diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a type of cancerous brain tumor. Since then, the 20-year-old has been documenting her treatment journey on her YouTube channel, just recently sharing that she had to undergo yet another major operation.

In a vlog posted earlier this week, Isabella told fans that she’d be getting a second craniotomy to assess the area of her brain that was previously operated on. “I’m going to have another craniotomy, which is the cutting open [of] my scar from my first surgery, my first craniotomy, and then cleaning it, and then maybe taking my bone out, maybe not, maybe putting a plate in there,” she explained from her hospital bed.

Bryson Tiller & Isabella Strahan Film A TikTok

Amid the difficult circumstances, one of Isabella’s favorite artists decided to pay her a visit, which certainly lifted her spirits. In one of her latest TikTok’s, she looks elated as she dances to Bryson Tiller’s 2015 T R A P S O U L cut “Let Em’ Know.” A few seconds into the video, the hitmaker makes an entrance and joins her, leaving her speechless. “Man of my dreams #bestdayever #brysontiller,” she captioned the TikTok.

Fortunately, it looks as though Isabella is back at home after the operation, which is what she told fans she’d hoped for. “It’s not fun but I’m just super glad I can still walk and talk and they didn’t like, touch my brain, because doing that again … would be really, really rough,” she described after surgery. “Hopefully, I will get to go home soon after I heal from this. I don’t feel my best but I wanted to give a vlog update.” What do you think of Bryson Tiller surprising Isabella Strahan amid her current health battle? Are you a fan of their TikTok? O.J. Simpson Reportedly Diagnosed With Cancer

O.J. Simpson has reportedly been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy to combat it. However, the infamous former NFL player had publicly denied the reports and denies being in poor health. Furthermore, Simpson reportedly plans to host a large Super Bowl party in Las Vegas and laughed off the idea that he was in hospice care.

Despite this, it’s not the first time that reports of cancer have been attached to Simpson’s name. In 2023, Simpson posted a video in which he claimed to have “caught cancer” and was in remission. It is unclear if these new reports of a diagnosis are related to that previous report.

Who Is O.J. Simpson?

Born in 1947, OJ is a man of two tales. First is the story of a star athlete who helped redefine American football. A retired jersey at USC, two First Team All-Pac-8 honors, and a Heisman Trophy are the defining marks of his college career. The first overall pick in 1969, Simpson became the prototypical running back of his era. He had five 1000-yard rushing seasons in Buffalo, including a 2000-yard season in 1973, when he also won MVP. However, he would end his career in 1979 after two seasons with 49ers. He left football for the world of endorsements and acting, and became an even bigger star throughout the 1980s.

However, the 90s would bring with it the side of Simpson’s legacy. In 1994, Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown was found stabbed to death alongside a friend at her home in Brentwood. Simpson became an immediate person of interest in the case due to his alleged history of abuse with Brown. However, he would be found not guilty of the murders in 1996 thanks to a legal team that included the father of Kim Kardashian. Despite this, Simpson would later be found liable in civil court and would go on to spend nine years in prison on an armed robbery charge.

King Charles III has been diagnosed with an unnamed form of cancer, Buckingham Palace announced in a statement provided to BBC on Monday. The 75-year-old was at the hospital, last week, to treat benign prostate enlargement when the issue was discovered. Tim Wakefield, Red Sox Legend, Dies At 57

Legendary Red Sox pitcher Time Wakefield is reported to have died at the age of 57. Additionally, his death comes after a private battle with brain cancer. “Our hearts are broken with the loss of Tim Wakefield. Wake embodied true goodness; a devoted husband, father, and teammate, beloved broadcaster, and the ultimate community leader. He gave so much to the game and all of Red Sox Nation. Our deepest love and thoughts are with Stacy, Trevor, Brianna, and the Wakefield family,” the team wrote on X. Wakefield battled the cancer mostly in private. However, his condition was revealed without his consent by former teammate and right-wing commentator Curt Schilling last week.

Drafted by the Pirates in 1988, Wakefield joined the Majors in 1992. However, released by Pittsburgh ahead of the 1995 season, Wakefield joined the Red Sox and would spend the rest of his career in Boston. Additionally, Wakefield earned 200 wins in over 460 starts across his 19-year career. Recording a career ERA of 4.41, Wakefield is best remembered for his hard-throwing knuckleball and 2004 postseason heroics. Furthermore, he won two rings with Boston and retired at the age of 44. Even more impressive is that in 2009, at the age of 42, Wakefield earned his first and only All-Star nod. Furthermore, it wasn’t a respect nomination, Wakefield was having one of the best years of his career.

Baseball Mourns Tim Wakefield

“Tim’s kindness and indomitable spirit were as legendary as his knuckleball. He not only captivated us on the field but was the rare athlete whose legacy extended beyond the record books to the countless lives he touched with his warmth and genuine spirit. He had a remarkable ability to uplift, inspire, and connect with others in a way that showed us the true definition of greatness. Embodying the very best of what it means to be a member of the Boston Red Sox, his loss is felt deeply by all of us,” Red Sox owner John Henry said in a statement.

“He was just a great competitor when he took that mound. He was just a great teammate and just a great friend. I had the opportunity to work with him on the field and in the booth, and I’m just glad I had the opportunity over the years to be alongside him. And just an amazing husband, father, and community leader. He really enjoyed people and he really enjoyed being around people. And today we lost one of the good ones,” former Red Sox first baseball Kevin Youkilis said ahead of the Red Sox’s season finale against the Orioles.

Boosie Badazz Celebrates Fan Beating Cancer, Praises 1090 Jake

Boosie Badazz recently took to social media, sharing some great news with his followers. The Louisiana-born rapper revealed that a young superfan of his, MJ, has beat cancer. Boosie himself just announced back in May that he’s now cancer free, after battling kidney cancer since 2015. He says he’s known the fan for some time, and was on his way to pay him a visit in the hospital. For obvious reasons, he couldn’t contain his joy for MJ and his family.

“Today, we in Killeen, Texas,” he explains in a clip. “It’s a special day! We finna ring the bell for MJ. MJ is a kid whose life I’ve been in for the last four years. Boosie Badazz Says “It’s A Special Day”

Fans are glad to see a more vulnerable, empathetic side of Boosie, who’s mostly known to pop off about drama online. He goes in on alleged “rats,” weighs in on high-profile trials, and more. In fact, during a recent interview with DJ Vlad, Boosie shared his thoughts on someone else who takes a similar approach to social media. The two of them discussed 1090 Jake, and apparently, Boosie has a lot of respect for the 28-year-old.

It makes sense, considering they both recently had a public feud with Kodak Black in light of his collab with 6ix9ine. They also both frequently discuss legal drama, making them pretty controversial figures on the internet. In a clip from the interview, Boosie reveals that he’s “grateful” to 1090 Jake for exposing “snitches” from the 2023 XXL Freshman Class. “I smile every time,” he tells DJ Vlad. “I f*ck with him,” he adds, “and if he was a different color, it would be all grave.
