Yung Miami Fires Back At DJ Akademiks Over Recent Comments

Yung Miami has fired back at DJ Akademiks for his recent criticism of the City Girls rapper. In a comment on Instagram replying to a clip of what he said, she wrote, “Batty Boy.” The term is Jamaican slang to refer to a gay man. As for Akademiks’ original comments, he labeled Miami a “clown” and told Diddy, “check your girl.”

“Yung Miami is, to me, a clown,” he said. “She’s a one-trick pony. She is not talented [enough] to do anything else. The only active talent is to be like, ‘Yo, I’m pimping these dudes out.’ While you come out in interviews and you’re crying. You talked to Diddy to DM me. ‘Yo, please, he’s calling me a side chick!’”

“Diddy, the only reason why I’m going back in on her. I heard her on some show, she called me a very naughty word,” Akadekmiks added. “Diddy … respect to you, but check your girl.” It’s not the first time that the two have traded shots online. When Akademiks first called her a “side chick” back in 2022, Miami clarified the situation on Twitter in response.

“I’M NOBODY SIDE BITCH LETS JUST MAKE THIS CLEAR ON THIS GOOD MONDAY! I don’t come 2nd to no bitch!” She wrote in response. “Akademiks my name ain’t dick so keep it out your mouth!!! You the type of N***a my uncle doing life sentences for BITCH ASS N***A!!!!!”

While Miami and Diddy have refused to put labels on their relationship, they recently put on a united front at the 2023 Met Gala, earlier this month. In addition to the two being romantically linked, they also recently teamed up for the new single, “Act Bad.”

Akademiks Disses Yung Miami, Claims Her Only Talent Is “Pimping” Men: Video

Thanks to her work in the City Girls, on her Caresha Please podcast, and more recently, as a supporting actress, Yung Miami has amassed an impressive fanbase throughout her career so far. Today (May 30), DJ Akademiks reminded us that he’s not a member of the rap diva’s club of supporters. In fact, he said some hateful things about her during a live stream which is now making rounds online. In one clip reposted to @theneighborhoodtalk, the media personality discredits Miami’s entire resume, declaring that she’s a “one-trick pony,” and the only thing up her sleeve is “pimping men.”

“Yung Miami, who recently did an interview saying she was tired of sharing a man,” Ak began his rant. “You know, I keep telling you, Yung Miami is, to me, a clown… She is not talented to do anything else. The only acting talent is to be like, ‘Yo, I’m pimping these dudes out,’” he continued to slam the mother of two. Afterward, he accused Caresha of “crying” after talking about her love life in the media.

Akademiks Gets Some Thoughts About Yung Miami Off His Chest

Fans of the Florida native and/or the blogger may recall their last feud, which took place in late 2022. At the time, Akademiks labelled Miami a “side chick” for her role in Diddy’s life, which has notably diminished since he welcomed a new baby girl, Love Sean Combs, with Dana Tran. The New Yorker wound up sending Ak a direct message over his comments, which the former claims left the “Twerkulator” artist emotionally wounded.

In the comments of the live stream repost, one user pointed out that the embattled entertainer has a controversial history with some “one-trick ponies” himself. “Didn’t you YOURSELF, DJ AKADEMIKS, BUT CELINA POWELL A G-WAGON? 😒😒🤔🤔🤔🤔. So, if she a pimp, you are THE BIGGEST TRICK OF THEM ALL SIR 😂😂😂,” they clowned him. “So, keep it cute and watch your mouth about our sis Caresha.” Do you agree with DJ Akademiks’ latest take on Yung Miami? Lil Durk Details His Mourning Process

Lil Durk may be an incredibly successful and praised MC, but that status came after years of hardship, struggle, and grief. Moreover, he recently sat down to reflect on that process in an interview with DJ Akademiks on his Off The Record podcast. Of course, that conversation broached a lot of topics, including Gunna’s plea deal, Kanye West producing his next album Almost Healed before he scrapped the idea, and much more. However, this part of their talk ended up resonating with many who either struggle with grief themselves or understand the dark subject matter he conveys in his music. Regardless, the Chicago rapper detailed his mourning process and how he doesn’t want to burden others with it.

“Everybody mourns,” Lil Durk began, responding to Ak remarking how he never shows emotions and questioning whether he mourns. “Everybody shows emotions. But I just can’t see myself just doing this.” Then, Smurk grabbed his phone and acted as if he was recording himself crying and going through a rough time. “‘Damn man, this s**t crazy, man.’ It’s like, nah.

Lil Durk Reflects On Processing Grief

“When I started getting more into my religion, and just like, talked to my pops while he was locked up, talked to my uncle and them,” Lil Durk continued. “They’re like ‘Man, we had the money, the fame andd the cars, we had the city on lock, and we went to jail and got life. What you’re going through, we’ve been through. When you call, call and get to your pops, call and get to your unc. Let’s talk, let’s have a conversation. But I don’t want to hear no crying. I don’t want to hear no complaining, I don’t want to hear no ‘I can’t do this, I can’t do that.”

“I’m telling you, like, that rug is powerful,” The Voice went on. “I lay the rug down, I pray- I cry on the rug, I cry while I’m praying, I cry during Ramadan. But guess what? India ain’t ever seen me cry. My daddy ain’t ever seen me cry. My momma ain’t ever seen me cry, you know what I’m saying? ‘Cause it’s only one person that can help the hurt, you know what I mean?” For more news and the latest updates on Lil Durk, stay posted on HNHH.

Vic Mensa Reveals Where He Stands With DJ Akademiks

Vic Mensa infamously got into a feud with DJ Akademiks back in 2017 during an appearance on Everyday Struggle. Overall, the beef was about Akademiks and his coverage of the Chicago drill scene. His War In Chiraq channel was heavily criticized at the time for its role in perpetuating violence in the city. Although Akademiks felt he had a right to report on what was happening, Mensa felt the opposite. Mostly, he just thought Akademiks was being incredibly disrespectful and that it was all “cowardice.”

However, it appears as though Vic Mensa isn’t concerned with this beef anymore. Recently, he appeared on Sway In The Morning here he offered up a freestyle. During this freestyle, he explained some of his past feuds. Whether it be Drake, Akademiks, XXXTentacion, Mensa made sure to address it. Moreover, once he was done spitting bars, he revealed how he talked it out with the likes of Drake and others. Although, Ak is still someone he hasn’t sat down with. Regardless, he is most certainly open to it.

Vic Mensa Is Ready To Move On

“Akademiks is one person that I have not spoken to,” Vic Mensa explained. “But I’m at the space where I don’t got room in my spirit for no beef, no problems with nobody. I’m beyond that. So, I’ma sit down with Akademiks. I’ll go on his show and speak to him. Because me and Akademiks’ thing, it was really more ideological too.” Whether or not Akademiks will be up for this, remains to be seen. At the time, Akademiks was a staunch Vic Mensa hater, and that probably hasn’t changed.

The Start Of The Feud

That said, Akademiks has done some amazing work with his Off The Record podcast. He continues to interview massive artists, including those who used to hate him. That said, we could very well see a potential reunion between these two, in the future. Let us know what you think of Mensa’s remarks, in the comments section below. Lil Durk Accuses Gunna Of Snitching In YSL RICO Trial: “That Man Told”

Since it began earlier this year, the YSL RICO trial has come with more speedbumps and drama than anyone could have anticipated. One of the biggest figures in the case, Young Thug, has been denied bond four times now. Several of his co-defendants, including Gunna, however, are back to freedom after taking plea deals. The “Pushin P” hitmaker has denied allegations of snitching rising up against him over the past but hasn’t done much to change the opinions of some of his contemporaries – including Lil Durk.

The Chicago native was the latest to join DJ Akademiks on the Off the Record podcast, at which time he shared his thoughts on snitching in general, as well as the Gunna situation. “Now I don’t sit up here and play games, man,” Durkio said, making it abundantly clear he’s not one to beat around the bush. “That man told. You should have went in there and kept your mouth closed,” the father of six insisted, before expressing his own love for Thugger.

Lil Durk Speaks on Gunna’s Plea Deal with DJ Akademiks

“If you a rat, you a rat. If you rewind this clip a little bit, I looked into the camera and told you, if you a rat, I f*cking hate you. Because I love Thug,” Durk vented to the host. Elsewhere in the same conversation, the “All My Life” hitmaker revealed that the reason he has so much disdain for snitches is that one took away his father at a young age, leaving him to be raised alone by a woman without a strong male role model to lead the way for him.

While the 30-year-old gears up for the arrival of his highly anticipated album this Friday (May 26), the Atlanta-based artist has been keeping a relatively low profile lately. However, more photos have been surfacing as of late, revealing that he’s gone through significant weight loss since his release from prison. Do you agree with Lil Durk’s take on Gunna’s plea deal? DJ Akademiks Believes He Won Freddie Gibbs Beef

Whenever these two are involved in beef, whether it’s with each other or with other people, it usually makes for quite the hilarious ordeal. Still, that’s due to Freddie Gibbs’ humor on one hand, and to DJ Akademiks’ personality on the other. Moreover, the media personality just declared that he won the beef between them, which has a long and now iconic history. Furthermore, he seemed to declare as such based on recent revelations that the Indiana rapper ghosted his ex during her pregnancy. In his proclamation, he posted a picture of the adult film actress and issued a simple message.

“Since you Niggas like writing letters… here go one…” DJ Akademiks wrote on Twitter. “DEAR HATER @FreddieGibbs I WON.” While many laughed at the tweet considering the context around “Spreadie Gibbs,” others didn’t take this as a victory. “lol damn, the levels of Petty, and tags Gibbs,” one user replied. Also, considering that this has nothing to do with their feud, many wonder whether Ak really “won” against Freddie Gibbs. If you didn’t give your opponent the L, can you really claim their downfall as your victory?

DJ Akademiks Claims Victory Over Freddie Gibbs

Maybe that’s reading too deeply into it; after all, it’s not like either party is winning big on social media. At least the 40-year-old MC has the advantage of excellent music and a humorous persona by his side. Sure, Ak has his media empire and a strong following, but it recently matched up against arguably the biggest and most passionate following in online rap circles. Recently, NBA YoungBoy went scorched earth on Akademiks after he claimed that YB and Lil Durk squashed their beef. Not only did he specifically take aim at Akademiks on Instagram Live, but he included Smurk and his partner India Royale in his initial Twitter tirade.

“This p***y a** n***a Akademiks,” the Baton Rouge rapper ranted viciously on his stream. “Actin’ like I give a f**k about numbers. B***h, I just dropped two weeks ago. This p***y n***a finna drop. B***h, I ain’t worried about no numbers, n***a. B***h a** n***a, big bank take lil’ bank. Your stupid drink face a**. That’s all you like to do, b***h, is get drunk and talk s**t. That one gon’ get you f***ed up.” Who do you think won the beef: DJ Akademiks or Freddie Gibbs? Let us know in the comments and return to HNHH for more on these opponents.

NBA YoungBoy has caused a stir on social media after dissing Lil Durk, Lil Durk’s girlfriend India Royale, and DJ Akademiks on Twitter. NBA YoungBoy Blasts DJ Akademiks For Thinking He Cares About Numbers

NBA YoungBoy just lit a fire online (albeit an unsurprising one), and doused some gasoline on it on Instagram Live. Moreover, the rapper took to the social media platform following his bold Twitter disses towards Lil Durk, DJ Akademiks, and India Royale. However, it seems like Ak was the main target of YB’s ire this time around, as he previously focused on Durk and their upcoming sales battle this week. Furthermore, the Baton Rouge MC fired off at the media personality for assuming that he’s throwing these jabs out to get more numbers behind his upcoming mixtape. All in all, it feels like he’d be happy with ten album sales if it meant speaking his mind.

“This p***y a** n***a Akademiks,” YoungBoy began his rant, which he embarked on while playing his music. That one gon’ get you f***ed up.” He seemingly didn’t address Durk directly, who already responded to him, it seems.

NBA YoungBoy Fires Off On DJ Akademiks On Instagram Live

Meanwhile, Akademiks had this to say concerning YoungBoy’s Twitter tirades. “Lol I never thought I see the day my homie diss me cuz his sales low,” he posted on Twitter. “This rap game is the devil lol. Youngboy I forgive u man. We can get them sales up otherwise… lol. But ok. Capitol Records I blame u for this… y’all pressuring YB to get some sales he doing anything. Get my boy off house arrest tho. YB the last rapper I thought would ever do some s**t for sales. But damn. Go buy his album it drops Friday… He’s tryna outsell Lil Durk. I still love him thc. Buy his project.”

Of course, the main event at this showdown is between the Don’t Try This At Home MC and Lil Durk, who will drop his album Almost Healed the same day as YB’s mixtape Richest Opp. Though fans hoped they had put their differences aside, it seems like it’s just business as usual for the two. Hopefully rap fans still get two great projects as a result, and this spat doesn’t get any uglier. On that note, if you want the latest updates and news on NBA YoungBoy, stick around on HNHH.
