Kanye West & Travis Scott Preview New Collab, Their Kids Star In Sneaker Ad

Today, Travis Scott took to Instagram to show off his new signature sneaker, the CJ1 T-Rexx. The shoes are currently listed on his website in two colorways, University Red and Dark Mocha, though neither are available for purchase. University Red is scheduled to drop on May 10, while Dark Mocha will be released “soon.” They’ll come in sizes for the whole family, with adult, toddler, and preschool variations listed on the site.

To celebrate the family-inclusive drop, Travis shared a video of him and Kylie Jenner’s children Stormi and Aire modeling the shoes. Two of Kanye West’s children with Kim Kardashian, Chicago and Psalm, are also featured in the video. “THE FAM FOR THE JACKS,” he captioned the post.

Travis also shared a post alongside Ye himself, hinting that they have a new collaboration on the way. “YE AND THE JACK,” he captioned a cinematic clip of Kanye, leaving plenty of questions to be answered. It remains unclear exactly what the collab is, but fans are hoping it means the duo has new music on the way. Some even speculate that it could be a full joint album, though this may just be wishful thinking.

After all, Ye fans are still waiting on his collaborative album with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 2, which was previously expected to drop earlier this month. According to Ty, the project could be dropping “any day now.” Unfortunately, the specifics are still up in the air

Gloss Up Exposes Alleged Hunxho Texts Amid Keyshia Cole Drama

Last week, Gloss Up unveiled her new EP, Not Ya Girl: Act 1. The project features her collaboration with Atlanta-born rapper Hunxho, who’s currently in a relationship with Keyshia Cole. The steamy collab arrived alongside a music video, which shows Gloss Up and Hunxho getting up close and personal, raising eyebrows among fans.

Shortly after she premiered the video, Gloss Up took to social media to promote it, sharing some similarly suggestive photos alongside Hunxho on Instagram. “You Know What It Is In Real Life. 4L StinkaLink ‘Come Here’ Out Now Link In Bio,” she captioned the post. Not long after, Cole responded, calling out Gloss Up for using the flirty caption while they’re both in relationships. This didn’t stop Gloss Up, however, who went on to share some shady Tweets.

Gloss Up Clarifies Hunxho Relationship

Amid chatter about the drama, Keyshia Cole and Hunxho were spotted out together in Vegas, seemingly suggesting that all is well between them. This got a reaction out of Gloss Up, who soon took to Twitter/X to clear things up. According to her, they’re not together, but at one point he “played both sides.” She accused him of reaching out after their split to try and make amends, telling her that “the love from over there wasn’t genuine.” Gloss Up calls him a “mass manipulator,” and advises Cole to “run don’t walk.”

She then went on to share some alleged text messages between her and Hunxho, in which she tells him she doesn’t like how he “tried to humiliate” her. He seemingly responded by denying this, and claiming that he acted the way he did because he told her that she was in a relationship.

Maiya The Don Recruits Flo Milli For Remix Of Her Braggadocious 2023 Hit “Expensive”

Back in early 2023, Flo Milli tapped Maiya The Don for a remix of one of her early hits, “Conceited.” Now, the Mobile, Alabama rapper is returning the favor, by helping out the native New Yorker in the same capacity. The newcomer, who got her start in 2021, dropped her debut project in October of 2023, Hot Commodity. On it, Maiya The Don struck gold with “Expensive,” but now Flo Milli is in the fold for this remix.

“Expensive” is a song about flaunting wealth and everything that comes with. Both rappers have made tracks similar to this, so the energy is right in their wheelhouses. With this new version, there are hardly any changes instrumentally. Structurally though, Maiya The Don’s first verse is gone, and replaced with Flo’s toxic bars. “He wanna spoon me, treat me utensils / Don’t do what I say and that boy gettin’ canceled (He gone) / Got a bag? That mean you can spoil me.”

A second pre-chorus has also been thrown in, following Milli’s verse. “AP watch, I put it in their face / Yeah, tell a ho to get a taste.” It is also longer than Maiya’s pre-chorus, which still stays in the mix. All in all the chemistry is solid, and we can see more collabs out them.

Earlier today, Gloss Up unleashed a music video for her new collab with Hunxho, “Come Here.” While most fans are feeling the track, Hunxho’s girlfriend Keyshia Cole certainly isn’t. The video features various shots of Gloss Up twerking on Hunxho, the two of them hanging out in a bathtub, and more. Cole and Hunxho just confirmed their relationship last month, so needless to say, the steamy video has fans confused.

Shortly after it came out, social media sleuths noticed that Cole deactivated her Instagram account. It didn’t last long, however. Gloss Up went on to share a few photos of her and Hunxho on set, hugging and looking a bit too close for Cole’s comfort. Her suggestive caption didn’t help either.

Upon seeing this, Keyshia Cole reactivated her account to make it clear that she wasn’t feeling the post. “Him being Yo ‘sneaky link’ When U have a “Man you bout to marry’ is nasty work,” she said alongside some laughing emojis. “But I wish u all the best on your project Love I was actually rooting for the video to come out.” At this point, it remains unclear how Hunxho feels about all of this. He did share one brief yet telling Tweet about the debacle recently, writing “Y’all hell [laughing emoji.]”

According to Keyshia, the photos were taken before she and Hunxho were official, but Gloss Up continues to taunt her on Twitter/X. YNW Melly Turns 25: Remembering How Special The “Suicidal Remix” With Juice WRLD Was

YNW Melly remains in a revolving door with the court system over the murder charges he is facing for allegedly k*lling his crewmates Sakchaser and Juvy. A lot of rappers have been showing support for the Gifford, Florida native such as Boosie Badazz and Fredo Bang. But like the Louisiana rapper once said about his case, “When they want you, they want you.” The latest development surrounding this never-ending saga is that prosecutors are trying to incorporate a documentary around the rapper’s rise to fame into the evidence pile. Unfortunately, to a lesser extent, YNW Melly will be celebrating another birthday in handcuffs.

Even though his image may not be at its best right now, we did want to celebrate the rapper and singer’s 25th birthday with a throwback post. One of his favorites of ours has to be the “Suicidal Remix” with Juice WRLD. The four-year-old track sees Melly at his best, which is him being in his melodic bag. This is just the second collaboration we have ever heard between him and the late great emo MC.

The remix, originally leaked by Adam22, was later heard during Kanye West’s appearance on Justin Laboy’s The Download. He also shared his bold take on the whole Drake versus everyone debacle, appearing pretty thrilled about it personally. “Everybody is very, very excited about the elimination of Drake,” he said, claiming the recent shots at Drizzy have left people feeling “energized.”

Now, Ye has been spotted in the studio with one of his favorite young artists, 4batz. In a new clip shared online today, they’re seen vibing to some music together. While it seems innocent enough, the clip has managed to garner some spirited reactions from commenters. Many point out that it was just last month when 4batz inked a deal with Drake’s label, OVO Sound. The deal in question is only for one EP, but regardless, it’s left fans wondering where exactly his loyalty lies. Fortunately, it looks like they may not have to wait too much longer. During a recent interview with XXL, the award-winning producer gave listeners a highly requested update on the project. According to him, fans “just got to stay tuned.”

Any update on the project is certainly exciting for the duo’s fanbase. His response, however, still leaves many questions to be answered. When asked why he’s keeping so quiet on the status of the project, his response was simple. “I don’t talk much so I don’t get fined,” he said. It remains unclear exactly who Metro is worried about getting a fine from.

Of course, Metro Boomin’s latest update on Savage Mode III has also sparked some conversation around his relationship with 21 Savage. Bryson Tiller Teams With Victoria Monet For “Persuasion” Off New Self-Titled Album

Bryson Tiller’s new eponymous album is here featuring 19 songs in total, counting the bonus effort, “Whatever She Wants.” Across that tracklist, perhaps the most noteworthy feature is Victoria Monet, who appears on “Persuasion.” Together, she and Tiller sing through a flirtatious encounter between two people. The song also made it onto this week’s edition of our R&B Season playlist.

After its release, Monet thanked Tiller for the opportunity on social media. “Thank you so much for having me on your album @brysontiller,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’ve been a big fan and I’m honored to have more music with you.” Check out the track below.
