Tyga & Sabrina Claudio Want To Spoil Their Significant Others On “No Question”

Tyga had the internet feeling conflicted after some lovey pictures with veteran R&B/soul singer Sabrina Claudio began to surface. However, it was a false alarm, as it was all to promote their then forthcoming single “No Question”. Overall, this team-up is quite the head-scratcher. Obviously, Tyga and Sabrina are two very different artists, with the former responsible for creating some of the biggest rap hits of the last decade. Then, for the latter, she is reputable for her versatile, breathy, and smooth vocals. Although, we have to give Tyga kudos for also being able to create hits time and time again, so “No Question” did have potential in that regard.

That is what this single feels it destined for. We can easily see this track getting quite a bit of radio play and streams. It has an agreeable summer vibe that feels reminiscent of Calvin Harris. Claudio delivers a catchy chorus and melody, and the Cali MC sticks to the topical focus and his usual low-key delivery does match up. On “No Question”, Tyga and his guest star bring some cute lyrics to the table as they are looking to just be that rock for their respective partners. “She asks me do I got a type? / I told her, “Baby, you what I like” / A lot of girls in here tonight, yeah / Matter fact, you the highlight, uh“. You can stream “No Question” by Tyga and Sabrina Claudio with the video link below.

Veeze & Rylo Rodriguez Collide For “F*cked A Fan”

Veeze is someone who took full advantage of a down year for rap in 2023. However, that is not to discredit his Ganger album. Overall, it was one that made a lot of end-of-year lists for hip-hop across the web, including ours. The Detroit MC’s sleepy and nonchalant flows are ones that usually get overlooked, generally speaking. An approach like that usually gets associated with mumble rappers who have little to offer lyrically. However, he proves that he is someone that you cannot judge too harshly on the surface. Veeze continues to evolve and “F*cked A Fan” is one sample of that growth process.

What the “GOMD” rapper is focusing on topically in 2024 is dealing with all of this newfound fame. His first release of this year, “Pop Yo S***”, seems him accept the place he is in right now. “F*cked A Fan”, which features Rylo Rodriguez, continues this more hype and “I’m the s***” energy. The beat, like most Veeze selections, is pure gas. Triumphant and glitchy tones, booming bass and 808s, and resonant kicks all unite for a grand trap and celebratory track for Veeze.

MESSIAH! Brings Out “Our Daily Bread” With MAVI & Surf Gang Ahead Of New Album

Underground rappers MESSIAH! and MAVI, are both Charlotte natives and are also criminally underrated. Each artist possesses adept songwriting skills, and that ability was on full display not too long ago. To be exact, May 24 was the day that they collaborated with Ovrkast. for “silent heel”. It was MESSIAH!’s first single in about three years and it is also a lead-off record. Yes, after 24 months or so, the North Carolina MC will be dropping a new album. According to Attack The Culture, the villain wins! will hit streaming platforms on July 26. So far, it seems that “our daily bread” is one of four promotional tracks from MESSIAH!

The others include “burden of truth” featuring Malaya, and “can’t stand it!!”, which is a solo cut. Overall, MESSIAH! has been very impressive throughout this album rollout. Our current favorite so far is still “silent heel”, as the personal storytelling and messages about addiction, mental health, in addition to going for your dreams. On “our daily bread”, MESSIAH! and MAVI are getting more braggadocious about their work ethics and one point even trade verses in rapid succession. The track’s production is overseen by the rising label known as Surf Gang. Harrrrisonnnn is the credited beat maker here and he brings a simple and slightly dark environment to the table. Go stream the single with the link below.

Sleepy Hallow & Sheff G Drop Sexually-Charged Collab “Yes Freestyle”

Sleepy Hallow and Sheff G share a lot of things in common. Both are from the city of Brooklyn, New York, they navigate a similar drill sound palette, and each of them love getting active with women. That is the topical focus of this latest Sleepy Hallow and Sheff G collab, “Yes Freestyle”. This single has a thumping instrumental that is synonymous with this area of rap. The kicks are very potent, giving this beat some extra oomph. Additionally, Sleepy and Sheff’s flows are easy to follow and making for a catchy tune. However, a song like this from the “2055” rapper should not be a surprise to anyone at this point.

“Yes Freestyle” is just hit in the Sleepy Hallow catalog. His 2023 album, Boy Meets World, features several go-to tracks. Two of those include “A N X I E T Y” with TDE signee Doechii and “Die Young” featuring 347aidan. Both songs alone have over 300+ million streams. Additionally, one of Sleep’s most recent offerings, “Winners In Paris”, is also making some noise with over 13 million plays on Spotify. But straying away from his solo stuff, him and Sheff G are also quite the dynamic duo. “Weight On Me” is their most popular to date, but they have plenty of others out there. Maybe they should make a collab album?

BossMan Dlow Drops Off Two Pack That Includes A Lil Baby Feature On “PJ”

BossMan Dlow is already star, and it only took him a few months to accomplish this. Yes, he has been rapping since for a few years now, but fans are really starting to take notice in 2024. However, it seems like every time he drops, the song is a hit. “Get In With Me”, “Mr Pot Scraper” “SportsCenter”, and “Finesse” are just a small fleet of his bangers. Overall, these examples are why we can see BossMan Dlow having more heaters on his hands with “PJ” and “ION WANNA HEAR IT”.

These two songs are a part of a two pack and it is clear that the Florida MC wants to waste no time. Just four months ago, BossMan Dlow put out Mr Beat The Road. However, he might be working on another project because “PJ” and “ION WANNA HEAR IT” are the second and third releases since then. The former of them features first-time collaborator Lil Baby. He is the latest star to spit over Dlow’s instantly recognizable skittering productions. Overall, both songs are flexing bangers in some capacity. Whether it being beating the odds or money talk, Dlow raps about both topics to perfection.

French Montana Enlists Fabolous & Fivio Foreign Ahead Of Their Tour For “To The Moon” Single

French Montana, Fivio Foreign, and Fabolous are shooting for the stars on “To The Moon”. This is the Moroccan-American rapper’s most recent offering of 2024 and it comes after a jam-packed first half. The curator put together one of the largest tapes of the year in late February with Mac & Cheese 5. It is the latest entry in the longstanding series and outside of the usual hefty number of songs, the features were also in abundance. Kanye West, Buju Banton, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Westside Gunn, Lil Baby, JID, and Lil Durk were just a few of the stars on tap. Also making it a massive undertaking were the various versions of each track (acapella, instrumental, etc.). However, those have all been removed from streaming.

Now, French Montana is going to be heading out on the first leg of his Gotta See It To Believe It Tour. It kicks off on August 1 in Connecticut and runs through the 25th in historic Philadelphia. However, this next mission will not be accomplished alone, as fellow New York based rappers Fivio Foreign and Fabolous are going to be joining him. This “To The Moon” single is going to be something they can all perform together onstage, and it is trap banger to a tee.

Shordie Shordie & 03 Greedo Deliver A Breezy West Coast Groove On “Ride With You”

Shordie Shordie and 03 Greedo are riding into the sunset with this new single “Ride With You”. The former and the latter are known for their summery and bouncy cuts, so hearing them collab is the perfect recipe. These two do not have extensive chemistry together, however they do have previous work out there. One of them came in 2020 off 03’s tape Load It Up Vol. 01. However, the most recent evidence dropped last year off Shordie’s A Life For Two. On each of these tracks, the Baltimore, Maryland and Watts, California natives delivered different soundscapes. “Remember Me Sober” shares a lot of similarities to “Ride With You”, as it is more of a melodic West Coast nod. Conversely, “Baccstage” is a little darker and sees each rapper get more aggressive with their deliveries.

Overall, we feel that this more easy-going sound fits the duo better, as it allows them to be a little more versatile. For example, the instrumental on “Ride With You” allows for Shordie Shordie and 03 Greedo to be more flexible with their approach. They could either go with lowkey rap flows, or opt for a melodic crooning vibe. The latter is what they go with and at various points, Shordie and Greedo are even singing together. In terms of where this single falls into place for the versatile artists, the former is coming off a fun rerelease of another 2023 LP.

The “B****uary” MC dropped a rapper/producer tape with famed beat crafter Murda Beatz called Memory Lane 2. It is their second tape in their series, and they took that offering on tour. Finding set lists can be a chore, but they made it easy by sequencing the order they performed them in. As for 03 Greedo, he has been having a prolific 2024. He has been on a strong feature run (Mach-Hommy, Maxo Kream, etc.) and has several loose tapes on the internet as well.

KYLE & Hit-Boy Feel Blindsided On “Dirty”

While California artist KYLE is mostly referred to as guy who worked with Lil Yachty on “iSpy”, he is honestly so much more than that. While he is not necessarily a hitmaker, he does excel at creating some quirky blends of R&B, pop, and hip-hop. Sometimes, he even ventures into the realms of dance like in his last record, SMYLE AGAIN. That project was released earlier this year as a light follow-up to his 2015 offering Smyle. However, KYLE is dipping back into more a more hip-hop centric sound for his newest single, “Dirty”. This track just further proves he can effortlessly bounce around from genre to genre at any given moment. On this record, he is working alongside fellow Californian, Hit-Boy, who hails from the Fontana area.

This is their first time teaming up and it goes over very well. The superstar producer is in the midst of another stellar year, linking with a boat load of talents. From his dad Big Hit and fellow beat making legend The Alchemist to Don Cannon and BlueBucksClan, he has been everywhere. Hit-Boy has also been rapping more frequently this year too, especially on the Cannon collab. That trend continues onto “Dirty”, in which he helms a short but memorable second verse. On this single, him and KYLE are talking about a girl that has been playing mental games with them. Both musicians feel totally blindsided, but they are not going to go out looking foolish. KYLE is especially not going for that, as he plans on developing one hell of a roster. It might be petty, but he is just giving his girl a taste of her own medicine.

Quavo & Lana Del Rey Are Built “Tough” On Genre-Bending Single

Lana Del Rey is returning to the realm of hip-hop as she joins ATL superstar Quavo for “Tough”. This is their first-ever collaboration, and it marks the most recent occasion in which the vocalist is working with a rapper. The last time the New York City native teamed up with one came back in 2017 with Lust For Life. Lana could be heard with A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti on that project, but she has strayed away from that sound for a while now. However, that all changes with Quavo on “Tough”, although this one has a country twang to it.

According to Pitchfork, this has a possibility of landing on her forthcoming 10th album, Lasso. The tape is expected to be released sometime this September; however, no official release date is known. On “Tough”, Quavo and Lana Del Rey are expressing how tough life and love can be at times. But if you willing to stay strong and push through, both will richly reward you. It seems that each artist is melodically crooning about their relationship together and it is quite beautiful, frankly. Quavo’s auto-tuned voice mixed with Lana’s smooth and breathy delivery are a nice combination. Furthermore, the instrumental is not overdone and features dirty trap drums and country guitars.
