Yung Miami Gives Update On New City Girls Album

Yung Miami needs zero help making headlines. However, it’s not her hit talk show Caresha Please that has fans raving. Although her talk show has made for many memorable moments. From talks of golden showers from music moguls to light-hearted chats with Meaghan The Stallion, it’s easy to see how Yung Miami can’t stay out of the headlines. This time around the one half of City Girls has come out in an interview with The Cut discussing things fans have been dying to know. In the interview Yung Miami confirmed that the album would be dropping this summer, but kept the exact release date on the hush-hush.

When asked about the album’s release, Miami responded in classic City Girls fashion, “I don’t know like, it’s coming and it will sometime this summer-for real, for real, for real.” She continued, “When you’re doing a project, takes time. We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.” Not only that she initially cleared that air confirming that her relationship with Diddy has ended along with clarifying her “golden shower” comments that had “Pee Diddy” trending on the internet. Yung Miami told the publication that she never said Diddy was the one she did it with but mentioned that sex is a part of life. Although, she did admit that maybe she does talk about it too much, but hey everyone’s got their own experiences.

Yung Miami Talks New Album And More With The Cut

Fans have been waiting eagerly and somewhat patiently for a new City Girls album. Especially after their stellar performance at the 2023 Dreamville Festival. Furthermore, the premier of their docuseries RapCaviar Presents, on Hulu aired on March 30th stirring up even more buzz for the rap duo. The CityGirls are scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Miami on July 22nd. Fans are speculating that will be when Yung Miami and JT make their return.

Yung Miami kept a tight lip on the exact release day, teasing, “Girl, I ain’t even gonna tell.” Evidently, it’s clear that the City Girls are taking their time with their new album. However, she says it’s the best representation of their music and their brand. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait like the rest of us. But Yung Miami promises this record’s going to “Hit Different” which is more than enough assurance for fans patiently waiting. Have you peeped Yung Miami’s interview? Let us know if you’re excited for the new City Girls album in the comments below.

Yung Miami Shared When City Girls’ Next Album Will Drop And Promised ‘It’s Gonna Hit Different’

Nobody generates a headline quite like Yung Miami. Her talk show Caresha Please has been responsible for the “Pee Diddy” nickname, imagined a world where Missy Elliott and Trina dated, and featured an especially playful exchange between Miami and Megan Thee Stallion.

But the City Girls rapper didn’t need Caresha Please to spark intrigue today, April 19, as she was unveiled as the cover star of a “special issue” of The Cut:

First she confirmed that she and Diddy are no longer together and clarified her “golden shower” comments on Caresha Please that got “Pee Diddy” trending.

“I never said he was the one I did that with. Sex is a part of life. I’m grown, and maybe I talk about it too much, but everybody’s got their personal experiences,” Yung Miami told the publication. “Some people get sh*tted on. Some people live life on the edge, some people boring as f*ck. I watch a lot of porn, b*tches get peed on. If we grown and we in the house just chilling and want to talk about sex, what’s wrong with that?”

Later in the interview, Yung Miami was asked when fans can expect a new City Girls album from her and JT. “Girl, I ain’t even gonna tell!” she replied. “I don’t know, like, it is coming, and it will be sometime this summer — for real, for real, for real. When you doing a project, it takes time. We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.”

Yung Miami told as much to Rachel Lindsay for Extra in January:

City Girls performed at the 2023 Dreamville Festival at the start of this month, just as Hulu’s RapCaviar Presents premiered on March 30. (City Girls are the subject of the docuseries’ second episode.)

City Girls are scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Miami on Saturday, July 22, so what better time to drop an album?

Yung Miami Is Summer Ready With New Gym Routine

Yung Miami does not shy away from her past cosmetic procedures. The Florida rapper has gotten a breast augmentation, veneers, and a fat transfer. As she continues her journey into talk show host supremacy, she is taking her weight loss seriously. Miami has been hitting the gym and taking her fans on the ride along with her.

The 29-year-old has been sharing glimpses of her workouts on social media. In an Instagram post this week, she celebrated her progress. “Look at the body!” Miami exclaims while in the gym. She pulls down her leggings just enough to show off her newly sculpted stomach. With so many new endeavors, it’s imperative that Miami looks her absolute best.

Yung Miami Is Looking Her Best These Days

In just a few short years, Miami alongside her City Girls member JT, has gone from underground artist to superstar. The mother of two was semi-solo during JT’s incarceration. She kept the group name alive while welcoming her second child. After JT’s release, the ladies would go on to executive produce Issa Rae’s Rap Sh*t on HBO. Additionally, they’ve both enjoyed gold and platinum singles. Miami added interviewer to her resume with her Caresha Please podcast on Revolt TV. The popular show has featured guests such as G-Herbo, Megan Thee Stallion, Kevin Gates, Trina, Saucy Santana, and JT with more to come. The go-getter recently added actress to her portfolio with a guest role on Starz BMF series. Many criticized her for her acting skills, but that has not stopped her.

Miami’s proximity to Diddy sparked dating rumors early on. They both confirmed that they were dating casually. She even sat down with him during a Caresha Please episode. During the chat, both joked about their relationship but didn’t share the juicy details that fans wanted to know. Her love life didn’t come without drama. One of Diddy’s ex-flings exchanged words with the QC signee on Instagram. She also had to endure fans calling her a side chick after Diddy revealed he fathered another child. There was so much backlash that Diddy himself had to step in and defend his good friend. Before her situationship with the Bad Boy mogul, Miami welcomed a daughter with producer Southside. She has a son from a relationship that predated fame. Despite her romantic connections, she continues to persevere and is looking great doing it.

City Girls Make Headlines With Awkward Dreamville Festival Interview: Video

JT and Yung Miami, best known to the world as the City Girls, have come a long way since their humble beginnings in 2017. In 2023 so far, they’ve already performed at Rolling Loud California (where they previewed an upcoming release called “Piñata”), as well as this past weekend’s Dreamville Festival. Not only did the girls join Usher on stage during his headlining set to rap “Good Love,” but they also showed out during a performance of their own, which heard them revisit plenty of fan favourites from their discography.

During the show, the City Girls wore matching brown leather looks, complete with sultry thigh-high boots and flashy silver chains. For her glam, Caresha wore her long black hair in waves down to her booty. JT’s short, chocolate brown locks were in soft, shoulder-length curls. Following the concert, the partners in rhyme sat down for an interview, though the cameras caught Lil Uzi Vert’s girlfriend in a world of her own as the media personalities asked them questions.

Awkward Interview Moment

“Who are your favourites right now?” the host asked the “Act Up” artists, leading to an undeniably hilarious moment of silence from everyone. “Whoever wants to go first,” she later added as the tension continued to build. “I think it’s cool, I love to see everybody thriving!” Yung Miami said. “I feel like everybody deserves a chance, so to see everyone trying to feed their family and do what they love, it’s an amazing thing.” As for who she has her eye on that’s on the come up right now, the City Girl said Lola Brooke and Ice Spice.

During their time at Rolling Loud, the rap duo went through a similar encounter with another media personality, Tamera Kissen, who was accused of acting “unprofessionally” while speaking with her subjects at the California festival. In defence of her unusual behaviour on camera, the 28-year-old wrote on Twitter, “I STILL GOT PAID.” Keep scrolling for more photos and videos from the City Girls’ weekend at Dreamville Festival, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.
