Sauce Walka Arrested After Police Chase, Crashed Car At 130 Miles Per Hour

A few months after his macing drama with Charleston White, Sauce Walka found himself in more trouble. Moreover, authorities arrested him after a high-speed, two-mile police chase, according to FOX 26 Houston, who reportedly obtained legal documents pertaining to this situation. Apparently, the rapper went 130 miles per hour and eventually crashed his car, thus ending the chase, the reasons for which are still unknown as of writing this article. Following this incident early Wednesday morning (December 6), he received charges of evading arrest or detention relating to a motor vehicle, watercraft, or tire deflation device. If the schedules resumes as planned, Albert Walker Mondane will appear in court on Friday (December 8).

Furthermore, we also don’t know whether he sustained any injuries or got medical assistance yet. Given the early nature of this report, we have few guesses as to whether the DAT BOY DEN MC will hold himself accountable for this or if things will turn more complicated. After all, he could fight against this arrest in court, but it seems like there is already some worrisome precedent that could make this tougher for him. Regardless, from what Sauce Walka’s Instagram Story suggests, it seems like he’s doing well.

Shortly after this arrest occurred, a video emerged on the social media platform, showing him speaking to one of his The Sauce Factory artists in a jail call. “I want to tell all my fans that I appreciate y’all for your care and concern,” Sauce Walka remarked. “I’m good, I’m straight. I made it through a catastrophic accident and the Super Saiyan that I am, I’m still here, I’m good, I’m healthy and will continue to be wealthy. Right now, I’m incarcerated but I should be getting out soon. I’ma drop a video for y’all ’cause I know y’all miss me. And I’ve been working hard so I’ve got some more work I’ma drop for y’all.”

Meanwhile, back in March, the 33-year-old was reportedly arrested on drug charges. It seems like he dodged these accusations, but it might make this and future court battles that much tougher. The state of Georgia is buzzing with anticipation now that the YSL RICO trial‘s opening statements are finally unfolding today (November 27). Young Thug has been in court all morning, and while he might not be there in person to support his frequent collaborator, we do know that Gunna is at least in Atlanta this week. Over the weekend, the “fukumean” artist previewed what appears to be unreleased music on his Instagram Story, generating even more excitement for his follow-up to this year’s career-elevating a Gift & a Curse LP.

That project helped Gunna gain back several followers who previously jumped ship over allegations that he snitched on Young Thug, though not everyone has been eager to forgive him. Nevertheless, the 30-year-old continues to focus on his future – which might include hiring a new driver after nearly getting into a car accident. Clearly, the traffic coming at the rapper’s vehicle at the time agreed, as they let out a beep of their horn to express their frustration.

Former NFL Player D.J. Hayden Dead At 33 After Car Crash

Former NFL 1st round pick D.J. Hayden has died at the age of 33 after being involved in a car crash in Houston, early Saturday morning, according to the Houston Chronicle. He was among six people to die in the incident, which occurred when a driver ran a red light at the cross-section of Fannin Street and Pierce Street around 2:00 AM.

The Oakland Raiders drafted D.J. Hayden with the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. After spending four seasons with the team, he played for the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Football Team. “The Raiders Family is mourning the tragic loss of former cornerback D.J. Hayden,” the team said in a statement. “The Raiders’ first-round draft pick out of the University of Houston in 2013, D.J. overcame a heart injury sustained in a college practice to play nine years in the NFL, including his first four with the Silver and Black. D.J.’s courage, perseverance, and dedication to his teammates will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him. The prayers of the entire Raider Nation are with D.J.’s loved ones at this time.”

During his nine-year career, Hayden recorded four interceptions, 46 passes defensed, 4.5 sacks and 328 total tackles. Prior to his NFL career, Hayden played his college ball for the University of Houston. While there, he made headlines in 2012 after surviving a near-fatal injury to his heart during practice.

Baby Jamo Crashing Car Into Capitol Building Barricade Leads To DC Rapper’s Arrest

The United States Capitol Building has seen a lot in its day. Of course, things as of late have become particularly chaotic. The MAGA riots were obviously the most tumultuous action in recent memory. Now, DC-based rapper Baby Jamo is doing his part to change that. In the early hours of Monday (November 6) morning, he was arrested by Capitol Police after crashing his car into a barricade near the government building alongside Onosetale Okojie. To make matters worse, the vehicle in question was stolen. Weapons are also being linked to the men, surmounting in a large number of charges.

“Carrying a pistol without a license, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle” are all on the list for Jamo (born Ricardo Glass). The rising star is also accused of “receiving stolen property of $1,000 or more, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device, fleeing from a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving,” and several other damning charges. As HipHopDX reports, Capitol Police put out a press release on the incident earlier today. They noted that the crashed car was a white Infiniti Q50.

Capitol Police Arrest Baby Jamo on Monday Morning

When authorities saw the driver idling at a green light they believed him to be impaired. As they attempted to perform a routine traffic stop, Jamo and his passenger reportedly sped away. This sent them crashing into the Capitol Building barricade. Not quick to give up, the “Back Door Con Artist” and Okojie then tried to escape on foot but ultimately were caught by police separately. When they searched the area afterward, guns (including one with an illegal “giggle switch”) were discovered. It currently remains unclear how the weapons were tied to Jamo and his affiliate, but we’ll surely have more details soon.

Baby Jamo isn’t the only rapper who’s currently caught up in some serious legal woes. Overseas in the Dominican Republic, 6ix9ine is getting comfortable as he prepares to spend the next six months residing there after assaulting some local producers with the help of his goons. YG’s Children’s Mother Gets Into Tragic Car Crash, 89-Year-Old Woman Dead

The mother of YG’s two daughters, Catelyn Sparks, was involved in a deadly car accident in Los Angeles today. According to reports, an 89-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, Sparks’ injuries weren’t as severe, and she was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the crash was purely accidental, and Sparks didn’t commit any crimes. Authorities also note that no drugs or alcohol was involved.

Sparks is reported to have been driving a 2023 Tesla while the other woman was driving a 1985 Cadillac. The crash was the result of a U-turn gone wrong, leading to Sparks hitting the woman’s driver-side door. She has yet to comment on the accident.

YG and Sparks welcomed their first daughter, Harmony, in May of 2015. After announcing that Sparks was expecting in March of 2019, they had their second daughter Vibe that July. Though it remains unclear where Sparks and YG stand at this point, the rapper’s been flexing his relationship with Saweetie since May of this year. Fans speculated that their romance took Sparks by surprise, as she shared a mysterious message on social media shortly after they were spotted together in Mexico. “Just because we got the same blood don’t make us family & just because we got kids don’t make us family, cuz with ‘family’ like mine? I rather not have any,” she wrote.

Pete Davidson Has Another Car Crash After Stand-Up Comedy Show

Just a few months after he received reckless driving charges for a car crash, it seems like Pete Davidson had another road accident. Of course, that doesn’t automatically mean it was under the same circumstances, or that this isn’t something that could happen to pretty much anyone. Still, previous context does slightly inform this incident, and if nothing else, it’s an interesting thread to follow. Moreover, Page Six reported that the comedian left his stand-up comedy show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Saturday night (September 30). Specifically, it was apparently after an afterparty, as he left at around 10pm in a busted-up SUV.

However, it’s unclear whether the Saturday Night Live affiliate was the one who crashed it, or if it was someone else from his team. From what photos of the report indicate, it seems like Pete Davidson was the one who drove the car out of the parking garage. Not only that, but sources reportedly told the publication that passerby screamed when they heard the accident, and saw him emerge from the vehicle. The “King Of Staten Island” was with four other people in the car when he drove out, and he apparently hit the vehicle’s side while exiting according to an eyewitness. As such, this is all based on alleged testimonies.

In addition, apparently he held a cigarette of some kind with his hands on the wheel, seen in Page Six‘s pictures. At the very least this accident wasn’t as serious as the one back in March, where the car crash happened against a Beverly Hills home with now ex-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders. Pete Davidson received orders to do 50 hours of community service as repentance, and seemingly dodged a criminal offense on his record. This time around, it was a much more harmless and fortunately less scary incident.

Meanwhile, this compounds with growing concern for the 29-year-old’s mental health following his stint in rehab. There’s clearly a lot going on in his life, and all the paparazzi flashes and love life gossip can’t help. Brandon Casey Of Jagged Edge Shares Grueling Car Crash Pictures, Says He’s Recovered

Brandon Casey, R&B singer of the group Jagged Edge, recently had a scary brush with death on the road. Moreover, he shared a picture of his demolished vehicle on his Instagram page following a nasty car crash. The group’s official IG page also sent their best wishes to their star member, and fortunately it seems like he’s at least recovering well. The Atlanta-based recording group is still putting out music today, so hopefully this doesn’t yield any more unfortunate results for the collective. For example, last year they teamed up with Canadian R&B duo dvsn for their new single “What’s Up,” one of many examples of the group remaining in public consciousness.

Regardless of all that, it seems like the So So Def Recordings signee is just happy to be with us still. “When u know god got u thru it you gotta say Thank u,” Brandon Casey wrote as his post’s caption. “U gotta feel gratitude not jus speak it. Brandon Casey’s Scary Accident

With this in mind, it’s heartening to hear that this worrisome incident seemed to smooth over as well as it could’ve for the 47-year-old. Unfortunately, other instances of Jagged Edge showing up in pop culture or news cycles were much less sympathetic, albeit for good (and unconfirmed) reason. For example, Matthew Knowles claimed back in December of 2019 that Brandon Casey and his group sexually assaulted members of Destiny’s Child. The group as an entity denied it outright, and Casey chimed in a few months later to double down.

Lamar Odom Involved In Car Crash, Smashes Up His Mercedes

Lamar Odom was involved in a car accident early Monday morning in a residential area near his home in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, Odom dropped his phone in the car while driving home from a friend’s place in Northridge. While reaching around to find it, he lost control and swerved into a parked car around 3:00 AM.

He hit the parked vehicle with enough force to propel it into another stationary car. The airbags deployed, but he wasn’t injured nor did he request medical assistance. As visible in TMZ’s photos of the accident, his white Mercedes is quite banged up.

The Los Angeles Police Department didn’t take a report while responding to the scene. Odom apparently explained he hadn’t been drinking and even owns his own rehab facilities. They did not feel the need to perform a field sobriety test and left after watching everyone involved exchange insurance information.

While he was sober during the recent incident, Odom has been vocal about his struggles with substance abuse in the past. Back in 2015, the former Los Angeles Lakers star was hospitalized after overdosing at a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada. He reportedly suffered kidney failure, several heart attacks, and 12 strokes, and was placed on life support before regaining consciousness. He and Khloe Kardashian had been going through the process of divorce at the time. In the wake of the incident, Khloe withdrew her filing, although had no intention of reconciling with Odom. After getting clean, Odom referred to himself as a “walking miracle” who had “cheated death.” He also admitted to US Weekly that his drug use made “the end of [his basketball] career come along a little faster.”

Khalid’s Mom Provides An Update After His Car Accident

Khalid got in a car crash last week that left him with minor injuries. He stopped his vehicle when it began to overheat, pulling over to the side of the road. He got into the passenger seat for more room while the car cooled down, then a passing vehicle subsequently hit his car. Thankfully, the musical artist suffered only minor injuries. And according to his mother, Linda Wolfe, he expects to fully recover and return to what he was doing before the accident.

Right now, Khalid is an opening act for Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour. He is scheduled to return to the stage as early as tomorrow, June 30. Kicking things off for the North American leg of the tour, many fans are waiting anxiously for the “Location” singer to make a triumphant comeback. If he indeed gets out there on Friday, the tour is currently at Gilette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. For the past week, without Khalid as an opening act, Ed Sheeran has been opening for himself. The crowd is eating it up because more Sheeran is never a bad thing.

Khalid + Ed Sheeran = “Mathematics” Success

The combination of Khalid and Ed Sheeran on tour makes a ton of sense. Both have this crooning sensibility and chill vibe, creating a semi-hyped, semi-relaxed atmosphere. The tour is ending on September 23, and Sheeran is also doing a more intimate Subtract Tour at the same time as Mathematics. In fact, he’s using music from his most recent album as the opening portion of his show until Khalid comes back. It might be jarring for fans to hear the subtler songs of Subtract to begin the concert, but Ed continues to point this out during the show.

Thankfully, Khalid is headed back on tour soon so that Ed can split his work up into two separate shows again. No word yet on what Khalid will do after the tour concludes, but the hope is always that he’s working on new music to release to the world. While Ed Sheeran and his fans continue to offer the R&B/soul singer support in his recovery, we assume the man is simply grateful to be in good health and to have avoided what could’ve been a tragic situation.

Pete Davidson Charged With Reckless Driving After March Crash

In early March, it was reported that Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders had been involved in a car accident. Reportedly, the couple had struck a home in Beverly Hills while driving in Davidson’s Mercedes. At the time, police had ruled out that Davidson had been driving under the influence. Later, a video emerged online showing the car leaving the road and destroying a fire hydrant before crashing into the corner of a home.

While no one was hurt in the accident, the idea that Davidson may be charged was floated in April. Law enforcement revealed to TMZ that they had sent the case to the Los Angeles District Attorney for the consideration of charges. Davidson was not cited at the time of the original crash. However, the District Attorney’s Office has now made their decision.

According to TMZ, Davidson has been officially charged with reckless driving. “Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision. We know that reckless driving can have devastating consequences. In 2022, traffic fatalities in Los Angeles have reached the highest levels seen in 20 years. This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore. As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable,” a representative from the DA’s Office told the outlet. However, Davidson is not facing any charges relating to driving under the influence.

Reckless driving is a fairly serious charge. Penalties can include up to 90 days in jail, a $1000 charge, and points on your license. As no one was injured and the damage caused was relatively minor, Davidson should be able to avoid jail time. However, the destruction of both a utility (the fire hydrant) and private property could warrant a hefty fine and potentially further consequences in civil court.
