Benny The Butcher, Stove God Cooks, And Hit-Boy Producing Nothing But Heat On “One Foot In”

Benny The Butcher has been hyping up his forthcoming record as one of, if not the best projects of the year. He has done so for several months as the tape was constantly pushed back. But, it might be better for it, as it shows that Benny is taking his time with this release. The project we are referring to is Everybody Can’t Go.

On top of that build-up, Benny also was teasing a track with Lil Wayne on social media. It was eventually released as “Big Dog” and that song was outstanding. Production was provided by The Alchemist as well, as it was a symphony of sound and lyricism. This latest taster is also another heavy hitter.

We can expect the full project to be out on January 26.

Quotable Lyrics:

Now you see how I cleaned house and see wild success
A rapper nеver reached out, hе either senile or deaf
I’m gettin’ big in the paint, I’m all rebounds and TECs
Put rapper heads on walls like TV mounts for checks
You beat out the best, and then you weed out the rest
Comfortable at home, wherever I put my feet down, and next (Yeah)

Freddie Gibbs’ Baby Mama & Benny The Butcher Get Up Close & Personal In New Photo

It’s no secret that Freddie Gibbs and Benny The Butcher don’t get along. However, back in May, hip-hop heads were surprised to find out about the drama between the Indiana native and his former partner, known online as The Fit Mami. During their relationship, the rapper and adult actress seemed all smiles, but according to her, he bailed on their future plans after finding out she was pregnant, suddenly feeling unready to take on the responsibility of more children. “He had this idea that we would name the baby Penny, like Penny Hardaway if he was a boy. BFFR,” she wrote on Twitter at the time.

“When I told Freddie his tone immediately changed,” the content creator, whose name is Destini, noted. “I’m so confused at this point, because have we not been talking about having a baby for the last eight months??” After she told this story and outed Gibbs for the alleged photos of him spreading his booty cheeks in her camera roll, it seems the two haven’t been able to make up. Instead, she’s turning her attention to another lyricist – one who her baby daddy hates.

On Tuesday (November 28) evening, @akamedemiks shared a new photo of Destini and Benny The Butcher looking more than a little comfortable. Her body looks as snatched as ever after giving birth, and the 39-year-old wasn’t shy about wrapping his hands around her bare midsection while leaning in to whisper sweet nothings in her ear. We’re curious to see what, if anything, Gibbs will have to say about this, and we’ll be sure to keep you up to date on the situation.

His public feud with The Fit Mami this spring (and her new photos with The Butcher) aren’t the only ones we’ve seen Freddie Gibbs take in 2023. While showing off a massive new tattoo to fans a few months back, they showed no mercy when roasting him over the artwork. Read what critics were saying at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Lil Wayne And 2 Chainz Share Music Video For “Oprah & Gayle”

Earlier this month, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz released their highly anticipated collab album Welcome 2 Collegrove. The project saw the pair officially collaborating on an album together for the first time and they delivered 21 tracks and nearly an entire hour of material. The project is also sporting some impressive features with 21 Savage, Usher, Benny The Butcher, Fabolous, Vory, Rick Ross, and Marsha Ambrosius all appearing.

Last week, the duo released the visual for one of those high-profile collaborations. They shared the music video for “Transparency” with Usher which has racked up more than 600k views in just a few days. But now they’re back with yet another video for a high-profile collaboration from the project. This time it’s the song “Oprah & Gayle” which features an appearance from Griselda rapper Benny The Butcher. In the stark black and white video the trio each take viewers through their unique worlds. Check out the entire new music video below.

Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Benny The Butcher Drop New Video

Welcome 2 ColleGrove is off to a strong start with all of its tracks racking up hundreds of thousands of streams. Some of the singles are already reaching into the millions with “Presha” in particular sitting at over 7 million streams on Spotify. Songs like “Big Diamonds” with 21 Savage and “Transparency” with Usher have also crossed the million stream mark since the album dropped earlier this month.

The extent of collaborators recruited for the album even goes beyond the artists it features. The pair recruited 50 Cent for a memorable performance as the narrator in a trailer for the album that dropped in the lead-up to the project’s release. 50 also made waves earlier this year after he collaborated with Nas for the first time in two decades on a track from his album Magic 2. What do you think of 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne’s new music video? Who do you think has the best verse of the three artists on the song? Let us know in the comment section below.

Benny The Butcher Reveals Significance Of New Album’s Title, “Everybody Can’t Go”

Benny The Butcher’s upcoming album Everybody Can’t Go unfortunately faced a delay until early 2024, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be any less exciting or impressive. Moreover, he recently remarked what the project’s title means to him, and what he meant for it to represent. The Black Soprano Family boss expressed these thoughts to Elliott Wilson and company on the Rap Radar podcast, where they also discussed how rappers deserve more respect than they get these days. In order to prove that feat, he wants to do so through the best way he can: the strength, power, and displays of skill and talent through the music.

“Everybody can’t go because they not cut like that,” Benny The Butcher began his breakdown. “They not made like that. And you can’t dance to every song, you know what I’m saying? Everything is not for everybody. With new levels come new devils, and I want more. I want bigger for myself. When you make that first cut, when you clearly see, ‘These people are not for me, they don’t need to be here.’ So the people who made that, who got past that cut, they think they’re safe. And what I mean by level up, you know, is my way of thinking. And of course, my way of making music.”

Benny The Butcher Explains Album Title On The Rap Radar Podcast: Watch

Elsewhere during their conversation, the Buffalo native also thanked J. Cole for recognizing the responsibility that comes with his status as a leader in the game, whereas others in Cole’s position are “not worried about pushing the culture forward.” “A lot of things that he do that he don’t have to do,” Benny The Butcher stated. “I know we can say that about a lot of people but it seems to me like he take interest in things like that, and that’s the difference. He realizes his responsibility of him being the top guy. And make no mistake, he’s the top guy. Cole is the top f***ing guy in this s**t right now, you know what I’m saying? And for him to understand there’s a responsibility just says a lot about him, ’cause a lot of these dudes don’t, man.”

Meanwhile, how did these revelations affect your anticipation or expectations for Everybody Can’t Go? What about the lead single for the album, the Alchemist-produced “Big Dog” with Lil Wayne? Benny The Butcher Finally Releases Lead Single “Big Dog” With Lil Wayne And The Alchemist

It is finally that time. Benny The Butcher has just put out his enticing lead single from his forthcoming record, EVERYBODY CAN’T GO. After months upon months of teasing a song with Lil Wayne, it is now here and the wait was certainly worth it. The anticipation began around early July of this year when a short video of Benny in the studio made the rounds on Twitter from HipHopDX.

A quick few seconds of the song were played and then Butcher cut it off. “New Orleans to Buffalo,” was all we got to hear before the Buffalo rapper stepped in to say, “That’s all ya’ll need to hear, y’all heard what the man said. I said I need Lil Wayne, y’all heard what the man said. It’s on the way.”

Well, we now have it on our hands and every element of the track is pretty much flawless. “Big Dog” gives off a mean mugging and big boss-like feeling that Benny does so well. This time it feels amplified, especially with The Alchemist’s production and Lil Wayne’s dog-themed bars. Both legends definitely have that “Big dog, Siberian Husky flow.”

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single from Benny The Butcher, Lil Wayne, and The Alchemist, “Big Dog?” Will this be the best song from EVERYBODY CAN’T GO?
