Azealia Banks On Jacky Oh’s Death: “In The End, I Won”

Azealia Banks has taken to social media to share her thoughts amid the passing of DC Young Fly’s longtime partner, Ms Jacky Oh! Banks used the opportunity to air ongoing beef she has with DC Young Fly, which stems from her appearance on Wild ‘N Out. Shortly after filming the 2018 episode, Banks called the show out for alleged mistreatment on set after DC Young Fly joked that she was “ugly.” Many social media users are now calling Banks out for her “disgusting” behavior amid the young mother’s passing.

“DC Young Fly spent years disguising his own deeply rooted hatred of self as joked pointed at women’s beauty,” Banks begins, “Projecting his own feelings about his own ugliness unto women perfectly secure in their own skin.” “In the end… I won,” she continues, “That [Jacky Oh] girl must have been so deeply insecure about herself.” Banks goes on to cite “The nerve of DC to call such a gorgeous woman as Azealia Banks… ugly on National television while a bunch of black people laughed.” She writes, “Ironically, deat at 32 exactly on my 32nd birthday,” adding, “You ni***s are going to learn to stop f***ing with me.”

Banks’ posts come amid rumors that Jacky Oh’s death involved complications of a “mommy makeover” that she was reportedly in Miami to undergo. She passed away last week unexpectedly, leaving behind DC Young Fly as well as their three young children. Rumors about the former Wild ‘N Out star’s death have sparked conversations surrounding body image, and the pressure put onto women to uphold societal standards.

“We thank everyone for their well wishes and ask for privacy during this difficult time,” DC Young Fly said recently. A spokesperson for BET also shared a statement shortly after her death. “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” it reads. Pete Davidson Escalates PETA Beef With Crazy Voicemail

The next chapter in a newly sparked beef between Pete Davidson and PETA features a profanity-laced voicemail from the former. The beef started when Davidson was filmed buying a dog from a New York pet store instead of adopting one from a shelter. Following the video PETA made a statement expressing their disagreement with the decision. Apparently, Davidson took quite an issue with that move.

According to TMZ, Davidson chose to respond with a profanity-laced voicemail for PETA executive Daphna Nachminovitch. On the call, he argues that because he’s allergic to dogs he had to find a specific breed that would have been difficult to locate in a shelter. From that point, the voicemail goes on an angry rant. Apparently, Pete was getting the dog for his mother to replace another dog that had recently died. He brings it up in the voicemail as an explanation for his action.

In a response to the situation, PETA said “Our hearts go out to the Davidson family for the loss of their dog, but Pete must know in his heart that there’s no excuse for buying a dog and propping up the puppy mill industry when millions of dogs await loving homes in shelters.” After the voicemail was made public Davidson issued an apology. In his statement, he lamented his anger and emotion but defended his motivations. “It was a poor choice of words. I shouldn’t have said what I said, but I am not sorry for standing up for myself and my family.”

Controversy has followed Pete Davidson around for years most notably his time with Kim Kardashian. Kim and Pete’s relationship returned to many people’s minds recently when the topic was covered on an episode of The Kardashians. Pete was also slated to return to Saturday Night Live last month, his first time back since leaving the show. Lil Tjay Seemingly Involved In Backstage Beef At Hot 97 Summer Jam: Video

Lil Tjay listeners have been happy to see the New York native back in action over the past few months. He previously took time off to recover from his traumatizing shooting incident. The young star’s most recent performance took place in his home state on Sunday (June 4). He joined the impressive roster of artists entertaining the crowd at Hot 97 Summer Jam. Not only did Tjay pull out some of the biggest hits from his own discography, but he also brought out Ice Spice to show the world their “Gangsta Boo” collaboration for the first time live.

The Bronx-born lyricist’s set went incredibly well, but as HipHopDX reports, he appears to have run into some trouble backstage. In a video posted to TikTok by @lilmacc_, Tjay is seen being held back by a full team of security while yelling at someone on the other end of the hallway. “You’re gonna be fired!” he shouts multiple times while fighting to break free from the guards.

It’s unclear at this time exactly who or want warranted such a reaction from the 22-year-old. Nevertheless, he appeared ready to get physical should his team not have intervened. From behind the camera, the person recording can be heard saying “N*gga popped on Lil Tjay, bro.” Thankfully nothing serious seems to have come from the altercation, which means DaBaby’s backstage run-in with a fan tops this year’s list of wildest Summer Jam moments.

Following his own performance at the festival, the “BABYSITTER” hitmaker was approached by a female fan who offered to perform oral sex on him in front of the crowd surrounding them. While he seemed to momentarily consider the offer, reaching his hand down his pants, Jonathan Kirk ultimately declined and briskly walked away with his security. Deyjah Harris Speaks Out On Chika’s Airplane Twitter Rant

Deyjah Harris has shared her thoughts on Chika’s recent rant about children on a plane. Chika took to Twitter last week to go off on a mother whose two kids sat near the rapper on a flight. She complained that the children’s behavior disturbed her rest, and received a great deal of backlash for her comments. Zonnique Pullins later responded to the Tweets, revealing that the children in question were hers. Harris shared her thoughts about the recent incident, claiming that Chika handled the situation poorly.

“The lady next to me who thought it would be a good idea to buy yourself and your twin infants first class seats on a red eye flight, who just woke me up by bringing your screaming bastard to OUR seats to soothe her, i just bought $34 wifi at 4 am to call you a stupid B**ch,” Chika wrote. She continued, telling Zonnique she hates her, calling her a “senseless wench,” and asking her if she’s “mentally delayed.” “You should [have] just sat there and been mad babe..she sky priority af,” Zonnique wrote in response.

Following backlash, Chika initially apologized for her behavior on Twitter. She did, however, later share Instagram stories where she said, “I know it was real harsh but sorry, I cant give a f**k.” She continued, claiming that at the time of her posts she hadn’t slept in two days, and was having “really bad thoughts.” Chika later discussed “double-standards.” She claims, “We all go through it we all say things,” adding, “I don’t feel bad cuz the response is disproportionate to the mistake.”

“As someone who deals with depression, anxiety, self harm, attempts or ideation myself.. i understand being on the verge of a panic attack or feeling the need to release your anger, but this was NOT the way to go about it,” Harris wrote. She went on to tell Chika, “there are so many more healthier ways to release your emotions.” She then claimed that Chika’s rant “shows that [she is] not emotionally mature/intelligent,” adding that “it feels like there is no accountability being taken on [her] end.” Harris finished her post, “You have plenty of options so you must be honest with YOURSELF + keep it real as to why you brought this to social media.”

Recent photos of Ice Cube and Kanye West appear to show that they’ve reconciled following a 2022 antisemitism controversy. The two artists were photographed outside of Ice Cube’s Los Angeles area home, smiling and hugging. Last year, Ye was slammed for making various antisemitic comments online and in interviews. One social media post saw him declare “death con 3” on jewish people. “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” he tweeted. He later defended the Tweet, claiming that because he’s black, he’s unable to be antisemitic.

Ye wrote, “The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.” Ye later appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where he claimed to be “envious” of Jewish people. “I’m envious of how they don’t abort their children,” he began. The rapper continued, “I’m envious of how they don’t shoot each other in the streets and then rap about it.” He went on to say, “I want that for the darker Jews, I want that for Black people. We need that.” Ye’s various comments about jewish people, unsurprisingly, caused him to get slammed by various media outlets and online commenters.

Following the controversy, Ye claimed that his behavior was inspired by Ice Cube. “Cube’s really set me up for this,” he said on Drink Champs, “[Ice Cube] really influenced me to get on this anti-Semite vibe. I’m here to finish the job.” Ice Cube later denied that he had any influence on the artist’s beliefs.

“I didn’t put the batteries in his back. Please leave my name out of all the anti-semitic talk. I’m not antisemitic and never have been,” Ice Cube wrote on Twitter. He later appeared on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, where he addressed Kanye West. “Talk your s**t if you want to, but don’t blame me for s**t. Machine Gun Kelly Beefs With The All-American Rejects’ Frontman

Frontman of The All-American Rejects, Tyson Ritter, discussed his beef with Machine Gun Kelly during a recent podcast appearance. He told Tuna on Toast with Stryker‘s host, Ted Stryker, that the beef took place on set of a film Ritter starred in alongside Megan Fox. Ritter says he suggested putting his fingers in Fox’s mouth in a scene, leading MGK to go “ballistic.”

“I go over [to Fox’s trailer] and there’s her man in there with her. This Colson guy, who you know as Machine Gun Kelly, I call him ‘Pistol Pete,” he begins. “I was like, ‘Hey Megan, you know, I wanted to talk to you about this moment where when you die, because you’ve been teasing me, putting your fingers in my mouth, that when you’re dead, I put my fingers in your mouth.’” “Colson like just goes from zero to like rage and awesome, super angry,” he revealed. “He was super bummed about me asking if I could put my fingers in Megan Fox’s mouth and I knew she was right there and he just went ballistic. He kind of went maniac mode.”

Ritter Says MGK Went “Ape” On Him

Ritter explained, “I remember when ‘Pistol Pete’ started going ape on me.” He continued, recalling, “I was like, ‘This is really confrontational, but also, like, thank you, dude.’” The frontman says MGK “had this like baby’s arm of a joint dangling out of his mouth,” during the confrontation. He went on to reveal MGK was “fully unhinged.” Ritter says he “was just like, ‘OK man, I’ll just receive you.’ ’Cause obviously it wasn’t gonna be anything crazy. But yeah that was … holy s–t. It was the greatest gift.” Ritter went on to claim that the two artists never officially made up after the incident.

Rumors of MGK and Fox breaking up began to circulate earlier this year, though the pair has been seen out together since. The couple even took a “healing” Hawaiian vacation together in April. One source told the media then that the two of them are “officially back on after going through a rocky patch in their relationship.”

Wheezy Allegedly Calls Gunna A Rat

Former-collaborators Gunna and Wheezy have allegedly cut ties, according to leaked screenshots of DMs. The artists worked together on various songs in the past, including 2021’s “Young Wheezy,” 2022’s “Pushin P,” and more. No Jumper shared the DMs on their Instagram, leading to various responses from users. One writes, “Damn gunna & wheezy go crazy together too,” adding a frowning emoji. “Damn everybody hate Gunna lol,” another adds. Someone else chimes in, saying, “Gunna meat riding knowing he said yes mam to them folks is crazy.” Another social media user calls the reported falling out the “End of an era.”

The alleged DMs include Wheezy sending a user rat emojis, referring to Gunna. The user defends Gunna, allegedly telling Wheezy not to “burn bridges,” adding, “y’all just gonna regret this shit.” The artists’ beef surrounds Gunna’s decision to take a plea deal in the YSL case involving Young Thug. The case sees over 14 defendants, including Young Thug, charged in a 56-count Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act indictment. Gunna’s caught a lot of heat for his choice, including jabs from Lil Durk, Blueface, Lil Baby, and more.

Dricus Du Plessis Doubles Down After Israel Adesanya Backlash

Dricus Du Plessis has been fighting for a decade, but only recently made the jump to the UFC. 14-2 in the EFC Africa and KSW promotions, he is 5-0 since his UFC debut at Fight Night 178. While he is yet to get a title fight, it only feels like a matter of time.

However, Du Plessis has been making headlines for different reasons in recent days. At UFC 285 in March, where Du Plessis defeated Derek Brunson, the South African fighter made comments about how he and Cameron Saaiman were “African fighters” and that he would plans on taking a belt “back to the continent”. This earned the ire of the Nigerian-born, and current UFC title holder, Israel Adesanya. Adesanya, the reigning middleweight champion, expressed his desire to punish Du Plessis in the Octagon.

I’ve never said the words ‘more African’ in my life. I didn’t say they were not African. Some people say I’m backpedaling, I never backpedaled. I’m sticking with that because that is the facts. He continued, directly addressing Adesanya. “It seems to have struck a nerve with Israel Adesanya,” he continued. “It seems like he likes to be whatever fits him best considering nationalities. He’s referred to himself as a Kiwi, he’s referred to himself as Chinese, he’s referred to himself as a Nigerian. At the end of the day, he’s born in Africa, he is African but he does not reside here and that is the fact. That is what makes me and him different.” The comments have fuelled the potential for a title fight between the two men at UFC 293 in September.
