Mysonne Responds To Troy Ave

Mysonne has had it up to here with Troy Ave’s antics. Recently (April 22nd) rapper Troy Ave put a new diss track out on YouTube. He was forced to invoke the voice of 50 Cent in response to the new diss. The diss track is titled “Taxi Robber,” which uses the beat from Fif’s smash hit “Window Shopper” from the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ soundtrack. Troy wasted no time sending multiple visceral shots at Mysonne.

In the song he raps: “Mysonne’s a taxi robber/Mad at me, I think I know why/ Mysonne’s a taxi robber/ He ain’t have $50 to get on Fab’s bus ride.” Not only that, the New York rapper poked fun at Mysonne’s criminal history. He rapped that the now activist “stole a hundred bucks for seven years inside” referring to his conviction in 1999. Mysonne (real name Mysonne E. Linen) was sentenced to seven years in prison after allegedly robbing two taxi drivers in New York City.

Mysonne Ethers Troy Ave

Although the song is kind of catchy, it’s clear Mysonne wasn’t going to take this diss laying down. Moreover, the rapper initially took to his Instagram to wish “Roland” Troy Ave’s government name Roland Collins, some much-needed healing. Additionally, he wrote, “Coward culture is at an all-time high.” “Once again there is no beef here…it’s just Real Vs Fake.” he reiterated. Along with that he left a positive sentiment saying, “my only hope is Roland begin to heal and Take accountability for his poor decisions instead of compounding them.” Mysonne continued his defense on his YouTube page. He pointed out that he explained everything during his VladTv interview five years ago. The rapper claimed he went to jail for a crime he didn’t commit.

However, he then segued into a tirade about Troy Ave and his snitching allegations. “Troy Ave been saying for years he was gonna snitch on Taxstone,” his video started. “He even did a song where he said ‘ I’m only loyal to my fam/ Middle finger from the stand.’” As if that wasn’t enough, he then goes on to play Jay-Z’s “A Week Ago.” Hov raps: You know that’s bad when your sister is mad, when your son gotta grow up like, ‘This is my dad?’/ The labeling of a snitch is a lifetime scar/ You’ll always be in jail n-gga, just minus the bars.” Mysonne let this play just before directly calling Troy Ave out. He then went on to clown the Bricks In My Backpack rapper for stealing 50’s flow. Furthermore, Mysonne went as far as referencing old interviews where Fif speaks on his distaste for all the biting from Troy Ave. What are your thoughts on this beef. Did Mysonne get the last laugh? Footage Shows Police Escorted Jake Paul Away From Mayweather

Jake Paul has made a name for himself with his larger-than-life personality. Getting his start on YouTube, Paul was loved by his fans and loathed by his man detractors. However, he is now better known for his boxing career. While many debates have occurred about his skill and choice of opponent, Paul appears to be genuinely serious about pursuing a career as a fighter. He currently holds a 6-1 professional record.

However, not every confrontation with his fellow boxers has been in the ring. Paul has a long history of beef with Floyd Mayweather. They have been rivals since at least 2021, when the two were scheduled to face off. During a promotion event, Paul stole Mayweather’s hat. However, Mayweather’s camp claims that things run deeper than that. Things came to a head last month when Mayweather reportedly confronted Paul in Miami following an NBA game. Both sides gave conflicting accounts of the incident, with Paul claiming Mayweather “ambushed” him while Mayweather’s jeweler said Paul “ran like a rabbit” upon merely seeing Mayweather’s crew.

New Video Shows New Angle Of Paul-Mayweather Incident

He said, he said seemed to be where the story ended with the Miami incident. That is until TMZ released new footage they had obtained of the incident. In the footage, obtained from a police source, Paul can be seen being escorted back into Miami’s Kaseya Center by police. That came as a result of swift police intervention as the two entourages encountered one another on the concourse. In Paul can be heard telling the officer escorting that “they were trying to jump me”. Paul and his crew are also heard stating that they believed Mayweather to have around “50” people in his group. It is unclear how many people were with Mayweather, as the footage also shows other guests leaving the arena following the game. Paul eventually left the Kaseya Center without further incident.

It’s unclear who the footage vindicates more. If anything, the footage speaks to the rapid response of the present police officers to curtail the incident before it became anything more serious. While both parties are seen squaring up and exchanging terse words, it does not definitely prove Paul’s claim that he was “ambushed” by Mayweather. However, it does show that Mayweather had the numbers advantage in the confrontation, even if 50 seems like an exaggeration. Neither party has responded to the footage’s release. Furthermore, it is unclear where the beef goes from here. Could this be the spark that finally gets these two stars into the ring?

Charleston White Says He Hopes Boosie Badazz Dies From Diabetes

Charleston White has undoubtedly become one of the most polarizing figures in the culture. His online antics earned him a cult-like following that continues to propel his message across the internet. However, some of his commentaries have been extreme. This week, Charleston White allegedly threatened sexual abuse against Math Hoffa’s daughter. Math Hoffa immediately clapped back while other members of the hip-hop community showed their support for the podcast host.

For the most part, Charleston White targets the rap community. He recently got into it with J. Prince, claiming that his concert in Houston was canceled after local police refused to provide protection. “The police department told me, ‘Hey, man, you got a problem with Mr. James Prince. We don’t want no problems.’ The mayor’s office called and say, ‘hey, Mr. Charleston, we hear you got a problem with James Prince. Man, we scared of him,’” White said on a recent Instagram Live.

Charleston White’s Beef With Boosie Badazz

It’s no secret that Charleston White and Boosie Badazz have issues with each other. However, things seemingly took a turn for the worse recently when White pulled up at T.I.’s “paperwork party.” Apparently, this earned a response from Boosie’s son, Tootie, who went in on White in his DMs. “Look bruh, shut your old, messy ass up. You too old for that shit. Your ass need to go get in the f*ckin’ bed, you bitch. Stop speaking on us, you mothaf*cka. I hope you f*ckin’ die,” Tootie allegedly told Charleston White.

The controversial personality didn’t waste time unleashing on Tootie, as well as his father, for the commentary. Charleston White delivered the same energy to Tootie. “I hope your daddy die, n***a, from that diabetes, I hope China don’t send the insulin over here one month,” he said. “I hope your daddy die, n***a. His organs weaker than mine with that diabetes.” So far, we haven’t heard from Boosie but it will only be a matter of time until he fires back. Check out Charleston White’s comments above and let us know your thoughts on the bubbling feud in the comments below.

Pink Claims Christina Aguilera Wanted To Fight On “Lady Marmalade” Shoot

Over 20 years have passed since Pink and Christina Aguilera released their pop-hit “Lady Marmalade,” but the beef continues to stew. In a recent interview on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, the 43-year-old dished out on drama that ensued on the set of the music video shoot. “Lady Marmalade,” which was a part of the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack, also featured Lil’ Kim and Mya. The 2001 track allegedly deepened a feud between the two popstars, which continues to unravel today.

In the interview, Wallace opened up the dialogue regarding Pink’s relationship with Xtina. Pink described the ongoing problems to be a conflict between two different personalities. “I think the shade,” she explains, “where people get it twisted with me is that if you ask me a question, I’m gonna answer it honestly. I’m going to tell you my experience of how it happened. And to me that’s not shade that’s just honesty.” The “Try” singer continued to say, “now, I should know better by now that total honesty doesn’t work in this world. People want to hear nice things, and they want you to clean it all up for them, but it’s just not my way.”

Pink Dishes Out On Christina Aguilera Feud

Pink continues to describe her experience of how the “Candyman” singer had wanted to fight on the set of “Lady Marmalade.” Allegedly, the whole ordeal commenced after Pink sat in Xtina’s chair, which provoked the star to want “to shut down the entire production.” “And I didn’t know I was sitting in her chair, Pink told Wallace, “and I’m also, I’ve been, I was homeless at 15 like, you can’t talk to me any kind of way. And so, I’ve you know, you picked the wrong one. But that’s over, it’s over.”

Although Christina’s attempt at a brawl hadn’t gone through, Pink continues to hold negative sentiments about the collaboration project. Just last week, she spoke with Buzzfeed about her disliking of the whole “Lady Marmalade” shoot. Specifically, she put the blame on “some personalities.” While Pink denies stirring the pot, she does remain certain of her version of the truth. “I’m not “shading” someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened,” she tweeted in response to the matter. Kylie Jenner Shoots Down Rumors About Mocking Selena Gomez’s Eyebrows

After posting a seemingly innocent photo on Instagram, Kylie Jenner has been flamed with accusations claiming that she’s making fun of Selena Gomez. The ordeal started after the former Disney Channel star posted a Tik Tok showing off her eyebrows. Gomez was simply trying to mimic Bella Hadid’s iconic catwalk look, but instead noted, “I laminated my brows too much.” Following the post, Jenner posted a story on Instagram with her eyebrows at the center of attention. The makeup mogul placed the text “this was an accident???” on top of one of her brows.

Soon after her initial story post, Jenner shared a FaceTime screenshot of her and Hailey Beiber, both holding the camera up to their browlines. Bieber, the current wife of Gomez’s ex-boyfriend, has previously been reported to feud with the 30-year-old singer. Quickly, fans jumped to the conclusion that Jenner was throwing shade at Gomez, the DailyMail says. One Tik Tok user wrote “Kylie and Hailey are giving high school vibes,” while another blatantly called the A-listers “mean girls.”

But, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star denies the accusations, calling it “silly.” She took to Tik Tok to comment under @devotedly.yours video, “this is reaching. no shade towards selena ever and i didn’t see her eyebrow posts!” Gomez also responded to the comment, further emphasizing how the two had respect for each other. “Agreed,” she wrote, “it’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”

Just last year, Gomez was called out for teasing Bieber. After the 26-year-old model posted a video promoting her skincare line, Gomez seemingly posted a video mocking her. Having received intense backlash for the shady post, she deleted comments. Her last statement was, “this is why I believe in taking care of your mental health. Guys no idea what I did but I really am sorry. Zero bad intention. Deleting soon.” Bieber even spoke out about the ordeal, telling haters to “be miserable somewhere else.” Following the incident, the duo allegedly cleared the air about their relationship. Lil Duval Claims Afrobeats Are The Death Of Hip Hop, Twitter Debates

Comedian and rapper Lil Duval provoked a not-so-humorous debate on Twitter last night (February 19th), which caused a back-and-forth conversation regarding the longevity of hip hop. In his tweet, the Guy Code star wrote, “Afrobeats might be the death of hip hop as we know it.” As a result, Duval sparked a heated argument amongst music lovers.

One user quickly snapped back with “hip hop will never die,” while another vocalized reassurance, explaining, “Afrobeats is a fad. It’ll come and go just like every other form of music that has tried to bite hip hop.” However, fans of the genre were not so happy with Duval’s statement, which even prompted pro wrestler EJ “the Judge” Nduka to respond. “We gon’ ignore those outlandish tweets you put out about your kid,” the Judge tweeted, “or we gonna focus on how uncultured you are?”

Duval Stirs The Pot Amongst Music Lovers

Deriving from Ghana and Nigeria, afrobeats has gained popularity as a genre that fuses together R&B, hip hop, dancehall, and house. Accordingly, Apple Music describes this category of music as “the infectious but indescribable sound of 21st-century Africa.” In recent years, artists like Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema have raised in popularity in North America, with the trio even performing during the NBA’s halftime show.

Twitter users were quick to jump at the differences between the two genres, showcasing how afrobeats and hip hop are not on the same playing field. “Hip hop and afrobeats will coexist, and we also bringing dancehall back, we the essence of music,” one user wrote. Another brought up the cultural significance of the genre by tweeting, “It stands to reason that the globally recognized sound of black people comes from Africa and not USA anyway. About time hip hop stopped representing us.”

Duval’s Past Tweets Receive More Backlash

As pointed out by angry commenters, this isn’t the first time the 45-year-old performer has sparked controversy. Duval was under fire after old tweets recently resurfaced containing uncomfortable comments about his daughter. Accordingly, the disturbing tweets (the same ones that the Judge referred to as “outlandish”) have only added flames to the fuel that angry music lovers are throwing his way.

Funk Flex Apologizes To Wu-Tang Clan For Past Hot 97 Beef

Funk Flex has posted an apology to RZA and the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan for their beef over the years. The Hot 97 DJ shared the message on Instagram, Saturday. He explained that he regrets not putting their dispute, which dates back over twenty years, to bed.

“I WANNA TAKE THIS TIME TO APOLOGIZE TO THE @RZA AND THE ENTIRE @WUTANGCLAN !!! ALMOST 25YRS AGO THE GROUP, ME AND HOT97 HAD A DISAGREEMENT THAT TO ME NEVER GOT PUT TO BED. AND I APOLOGIZE!” Flex wrote i the caption of a photo of himself with RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan.

“LOOKING BACK AT THIS 20 SUMTHIN YEARS LATER.. WE GONNA MAKE UP FOR THE TIME WE MISSED…” he further wrote. “THE WORLDS GREATEST RAP GROUP AND THE WORLDS GREATEST RADIO STATIONS ARE GOING TO COME TOGETHER BRING U SOMETHING AMAZING!”

Raekwon commented on the post: “Nothing but love Blackman! And that’s Reciprical!!!!!.” RZA also commented three Wu-hands emojis.

Wu-Tang Clan detailed their beef with Hot 97 during the group’s 2019 docuseries Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men. Inspectah Deck claimed Hot 97 threatened to pull their music if the group didn’t perform at Summer Jam in 1997. On stage at the event, Ghostface Killah lead the crowd in a “Fuck Hot 97!” chant.

“They didn’t play our records for like the next 10 years,” Deck explained, while adding that they got other radio stations to join in the boycott as well. “Us not being involved while they playing the Biggie shit, they playing Nas shit, everybody that was rocking with us at the time. That affected our sales, that affected our touring, that affected everything. That affected our presence.”

Wu-Tang Clan previously mended their relationship with Hot 97 by playing Summer Jam in 2013. The group aren’t the only artists Funk Flex has blacklisted over the years. He also recently stopped playing music by 6ix9ine, but has since gone back on that decision. Check out Funk Flex’s apology to Wu-Tang Clan on Instagram below.

Akademiks Says He’ll Fight Lil Baby: “I Will Choke You To Death”

Akademiks wants to go blow-for-blow with Lil Baby following the release of It’s Only Me.

Baby dropped off his third solo album in October, which contained two disses directed at the controversial figure. Baby didn’t throw subliminals, either. The rapper fired back at the media personality for stating that he’s richer than him on “From Now On.” “Akademiks know he ain’t as rich as me,” he raps. Then, he mentions the media figure on “Top Priority” when he raps, “Akademiks n****s think they can’t get touched/ I don’t be on computers much, CED turnt me on to YouTube.”

Though the streamer is a well-documented fan of Baby’s music, it’s clear that Baby’s bars soured his appreciation. Since the album dropped, the Off The Record host dissed Baby on numerous occasions. During one stream, he called the ATL rapper “short bus baby” and questioned his intellect.

In a recent live stream, Akademiks took it a step further. The beef may have began with words but the former Everyday Struggle host made it clear that he wants all the smoke. In fact, he went as far as saying that he would choke the rapper to death.

“I will fight Lil Baby for free or for money,” Ak said. “I just wanna get in the ring with him. You don’t got no 4PF, n***a, I will choke you to death. I will punch you in your face. You’re not doing shit. Stop it. You’re a fucking retarded rapper, you can’t do shit. Stop it. Who gon’ stand on that?”

Ak said that he was putting this out in the world before questioning other rappers who he’s challenged to scrap with.

“I’m putting this out on public media, n***a. If Lil Baby really thought it was some shit, he’d be like, ‘Yo Ak, let’s really get into it,’” he continued. “I’ve said this shit mad times. Have you heard any rapper say, ‘Yo Ak, well fuck it then, let’s get it in.’ Not one of these n***as, bro. Not one of them.”

No word from Lil Baby. But, considering that Akademiks’ previously said that he’d testify against the rapper, it seems unlikely that Baby will respond.
