Cardi B Seemingly Fires Back At Akbar V, Threatens To Leak Video

It looks like the ladies are beefing, again. Cardi B and Akbar V have had their fair share of issues over the past few months, though things appeared to die down. For the most part, Akbar attempted to use the feud as leverage for her rap career, though that didn’t necessarily work the way she likely hoped for. The explosive feud between the two began when Nicki enlisted Akbar for the “Super Freaky Girl” remix – a huge look for the Atlanta star. However, she took it a step further and decided to take on Nicki’s beef, as well.

The feud later included shots at Offset and his alleged affairs over the years but Cardi B quickly shut her down. The Migos rapper later found himself involved as Akbar brought up his alleged feud with Lil Baby and the 4PF crew. She accused the rapper of blowing up her phone before calling him out for suing Quality Control and Pierre Thomas. The entire thing spun out of control with Cardi later sharing an alleged photo of Akbar performing fellatio on a man.

Cardi B Responds

Just when Cardi B found herself facing backlash for her response to the Dalai Lama’s video, Akbar V issued a tweet that some perceived to be towards Cardi. “You ain’t start not one and I mean not one trend,” Akbar tweeted. Though it was relatively vague, Bardi Gang piled on and called her out for the subs. Some even pointed out that Akbar hasn’t started any trends, either, but she didn’t necessarily fixate on that flaw in her argument.

Eventually, Cardi B fired back in another subliminal tweet. “If i post this video b*tches will be crying,” she wrote. “BUWOOOOOOOOOOOPP.” It didn’t take long for Akbar V to fire back, dragging Offset into the mess, again, and suggesting that she’s in possession of inappropriate videos involving the Migos rapper. “If I show this [movie camera emoji] of hubbbbbyyyyyy,” she wrote with a slew of laughing emojis. So far, it seems like their feud hasn’t escalated any further but we’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding their beef.

Charleston White Challenges Boosie Badazz & Bandman Kevo To A $100K Boxing Match

Celebrity boxing matches have seen a resurgence in popularity with the rise of influencers. Though we’ve yet to see Akademiks and Freddie Gibbs duke it out, there are a plethora of hip-hop artists who’ve either been challenged to step into the ring. Blueface and DDG are among the few who’ve entered the ring in the past. However, Charleston White wants to see Boosie Badazz and Bandman Kevo duke it out against his associate Anthony Dewberry over apparent comments made by the “Uber” rapper in the past.

White hit socials with a new video this weekend where he chops it up with Dewberry, who asked Charleston to line up the fight. During the conversation, Charleston alleged that Kevo accused Dewberry of “f*cking with boys” in prison and getting sexually assaulted. “Tell him that he got an opportunity to say that in front of me along with putting in some work. Let’s put the work in now. I don’t mind putting the work in,” Dewberry told White over FaceTime.

Charleston White Wants To Set Up Fight

As is the case with most boxing matches, people want to place bets. Charleston White said that he’d put up six figures on Dewberry. Charleston evidently has high hope for his associate, especially since he invited Kevo to tag team Boosie Badazz. “I got a $100,000 on Dewberry. Tell that bitch ass n***a don’t back out now,” White said. “He on here talking tough. Tell that bitchass n***a, Bandman Kevo, go get Boosie, whoever, let’s have a fight night, n***a.”

At this point, Boosie nor Kevo have responded to Charleston White’s proposal. However, this certainly isn’t the first time the controversial personality invoked the Baton Rouge rapper’s name. Earlier this year, Boosie’s son, Tootie, called out Charleston in a voice message via Instagram, leading the Dallas native to unleash on his father. “I hope your daddy die, n***a, from that diabetes, I hope China don’t send the insulin over here one month,” he said. “I hope your daddy die, n***a. His organs weaker than mine with that diabetes.” We’ll keep you posted on any responses from Boosie or Kevo.

Netflix Drama “Beef” Earns Rave Reviews

Beef, the latest limited series from Netflix, presents a deceptively simple premise. After a road rage incident, two individuals set out to ruin each other’s lives. Created by former It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia staff writer Lee Sung Jin, Beef stars Stephen Yeun (The Walking Dead, Nope) and Ali Wong (Always Be My Maybe, Tuca & Bertie).

However, Beef goes beyond its simple premise to become an intimate and petty look at the lengths people go to in order to feel alive. Yuen’s Danny is a handyman with no self-awareness of his patronizing view of the world. Meanwhile, Wong’s Amy is trapped in a suburban hell she pretends is her ultimate goal in life. A chance meeting in a hardware store parking lot becomes a road rage chase through the suburbs. That incident becomes the spark for the two to engage in an increasingly dramatic war of words and actions. But as much as the two of them despite each other, the havoc they can wreak on each other is the only thing giving their lives meaning.

“Beef” Is Certified Fresh And Widely Praised

Debuting on April 6, Beef quickly garnered the rare 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. At the time of writing, the show holds a 99% critics rating and a 96% audience rating. It continues a strong showing for Netflix in the TV department, with YA fantasy Shadow & Bone‘s second season currently holding an 83% rating. Furthermore, Beef‘s strong debut also allows Netflix to keep pace with the hits of its competitors such as Apple TV (Ted Lasso Season 3 – 93%), Paramount+ (Rabbit Hole – 77%), and HBO (Succession Season 4 – 97%).

Critics have praised Beef‘s encapsulation of modern rage, especially in “an era that sells us on the ease of being able to have anything we want, only countered by our frustration at being unable to.” (Gayle Sequeira, Film Companion). Additionally, the show never fails to embrace comedy at the right moments, with Joey Moser of Awards Daily noting that “Beef will stick out its tongue as it gives you the finger.” Overall, the show is a visceral, petty masterclass of societal critique and can’t-look-away revenge television.

Cardi B Responds To Someone Calling Her A Predator

When Cardi B responded to the Dalai Lama asking a child to suck his tongue, she probably didn’t expect a fair share of backlash her way. Yet, as she took to her social media to blast the religious leader for his actions, many clapped back and said she was guilty of similarly reprehensible behavior. “This world is full of predators,” Cardi wrote on Twitter. “They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children. Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people wit money, power & our churches. Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”

However, those strong words weren’t enough for fans who remembered her allegedly drugging men to rob them, bringing about accusations of assault as well. “I’m sorry I just don’t want predator PSA’s from a former/current predator!” one user tweeted. “No matter how you flip twist or turn it!” After seeing the response to her Instagram post, Cardi B fired back at the commenter. “Did I r*pe them? Touch them? Kiss them? Put my hand on their privates? Is taking money from somebody different than touching they bodies without consent? Cause there’s a difference.”

Cardi B Refutes Claims That She’s A Predator

“So I’m seeing on social media that a Live I did 3 years ago has popped back up,” she explained about the controversy back in 2019. “A Live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a living. I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world with a perfect past. I always speak my truth, I always own my s**t. I’m a part of a hip hop culture where you can talk about where you come from talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are. I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options. I was blessed to have been able to rise from that, but so many women have not.

“Whether or not they were poor choices at the time, I did what I had to do to survive.” Cardi B added the following later that year: “I let people go with this narrative of me for a long time. Not once did I say I put s**t inside n***as drinks. I NEVER did that. These n***as use to get drunk, smoke maa weed party an hard and passed out. Never did I force n***as to come with me nowhere. Never did I f**k nobody. These Men used to disgust me sooo for the fact people keep calling me a r*pist when I didn’t even kiss these men it’s so crazy to me.” Regardless of your take, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Cardi B.

Bow Wow Speaks On Baby Mama Joie Chavis & Diddy Linking Up: “Certain Things Are Off Limits”

It may seem as though celebrities have plenty of options at their disposal when it comes to dating. Really though, the truth is, they face more limits than anyone else. Aside from having to constantly question the intentions of others, many find their list of potential lovers cut in half when they begin to consider the friendships and potential collaborations that may be ruined in the name of love. Things like this are important to Bow Wow. He obviously felt some type of way after watching Diddy move in on his baby mama, Joie Chavis, following their split.

It’s now been a year and a half since the social media personality was seen on Sean Combs’ yacht. Cameras caught them sharing a smooch while relaxing on the boat in Italy. Chavis certainly had her cheeks on display both in and out of the water while rocking a tiny bikini. Recently, Bow Wow appeared on The Baller Alert Show, at which time he addressed the situation. He confirmed having had conversations with both the mother of two and the “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker after their kiss to express his hurt feelings.

Bow Wow Addresses Diddy and Joie Chavis’ Romance

“She knew better,” the Like Mike actor said of Chavis’ decision to link up with Diddy. “Me and her, we had our discussion about it, trust me.” While he was bothered by seeing his baby mama boating with the producer, Combs tapping her to appear alongside him in a music video was apparently less of a stressor for Bow Wow. “Me and dude, we definitely had our rep, but I’ll keep that between us. We handled it the way we was supposed to handle it.”

According to the 36-year-old, “There’s a conduct and code men go by and everyone knows certain things are off limits. Wives and baby mamas is just some shit that, you know, you steer clear from.” He went on to describe himself as something of “a savage,” but will only engage in that “f*ckery shit with n*ggas [he] doesn’t really give a f*ck about.” Watch Bow Wow’s full appearance on The Baller Alert Show below, and let us know if you think he’s out of line for feeling upset over his ex and Diddy in the comments.

Draymond Green Claps Back At Rudy Gobert

The final day of the 2022-23 NBA regular season saw numerous viral moments play out. LeBron crowned himself as he secured a Lakers win while the loaded Mavs missed the playoffs entirely. However, the Timberwolves-Pelcians game produced not one, but two viral moments. While Jaden McDaniels punching a wall raised eyebrows, few moments were as talked about as the brawl that broke out on the Timberwolves’ bench.

During a second-quarter time in their regular-season finale against the Pelicans, Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert was seen physically lashing out at teammate Kyle Anderson. According to a team spokesperson, the confrontation came about due to comments Anderson made about Gobert’s performance. Team officials immediately removed Gobert from the game and reportedly went as far as to send him home. The story quickly went viral on social media, with one NBA in particular having some choice words for Gobert.

Draymond Green Has Perfect Response For Gobert

Draymond Green, who put up nine points in the Warriors’ Play-In clinching win over the Trail Blazers, fired off a four-word tweet on Sunday evening. “Insecurity is always loud…” the tweet read, quickly garnering over 61,000 likes. A cryptic tweet on the surface, the message was a devastating shot at Gobert. In October 2022, TMZ released a video of Green fighting with teammate Jordan Poole at a Warriors practice. Seemingly in response to the video, Gobert tweeted “Insecurity is always loud…”. Green’s Sunday-night tweet appears to be a direct response to Gobert’s comment on a similar incident.

It is unclear where the story goes from here. Despite tweeting an apology for his behavior, Gobert has been listed as doubtful for the Timberwolves’ Play-In game against the Lakers on Monday night. If the Timberwolves sideline Gobert, it would be another significant blow to their playoff chances. The team also lost forward Jaden McDaniels’ in Sunday’s game, and Naz Daniels, the team’s backup center, is already out due to injury. It remains to be seen if Gobert has done enough to face the Lakers. However, Draymond Green is eager to see the center held accountable in the court of public opinion.

T.I. & Boosie BadAzz Run Into Eachother After Recent Beef

T.I. and Boosie BadAzz ran into each other at an airport, as caught by a photo that began circulating on social media, Sunday night. The meet-up seems to have come after the two engaged in a public feud throughout recent months. No further details about T.I. and Boosie’s run-in were provided.

Despite a lack of context, people had plenty to say about the picture. “Boosie always dressed up as a 19 year old who be taking off guards at a gas station,” one user joked on Instagram. Another theorized, “Boosie tryna get that n***a to be in one of his films.” One more joked, “Why TI standing there like n***a don’t hit me.”

T.I. and Boosie’s spat began after the former admitted to snitching on his cousin to avoid charges years ago. Afterward, Boosie went on VladTV and revealed that he scrapped a collaborative album with T.I. because of the alleged snitching. T.I. later claimed that his comments were taken out of context.

“It came from a conversation that my partner and I were having,” T.I. said at the time. “That conversation was, ‘Hey bro, if me and you catch a case together and I die before you, it’s mine.’ He was like ‘Nah, I can’t do that.’ [I said] ‘Yes you can. It’s mine. Why can’t you? I don’t understand it.’ He said, ‘Nah, I can’t do it.’ You know what I mean? He said, ‘I can’t really say nothing about anybody who do, but I can’t do it.’ So off of that conversation, I created a set of circumstances. You know what I mean? And I thought that the embellishment was clear when I said I talked to my cousin and he told me.” T.I. also shared official documents from the time in an attempt to prove his innocence. Things at least seem to have settled down between the two artists as of now. Check out the viral photo of the two of them below.

Taxstone Slams Joe Budden’s Treatment Of Rory & Mal

Taxstone recently called out Joe Budden for what he viewed as manipulative behavior concerning his treatment of former podcast cohosts Rory and Mal. Moreover, he recently spoke to Complex about the state of hip-hop media and a host of other topics. Furthermore, readers may recall that the former Joe Budden Podcast collaborators blasted Joe after Complex named him the top rap media personality in the game. While their comments aimed to be fair to the list, they couldn’t help but bring up their bad blood when debating whether he deserves the honor. On that note, Taxstone had some words for the Slaughterhouse MC and warned others of his tendencies.

“I think Rory and Mal finally figured out that Joe was a master manipulator,” Taxstone remarked to the publication. “They was suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and Joe manipulates everybody around him. Even them dudes sitting with him now are being manipulated. But you gotta understand some people are alright with manipulation as long as they get something out of it. So I think them dudes know that. But I think they just cool with the situation. Sometimes people don’t got nothing going on in their life. They need to be a part of something.”

Taxstone Sends Shots At Joe Budden

Moreover, he also blasted Troy Ave amid their continuing beef and specifically N.O.R.E. for giving Ave media attention. “It’s fools like the people who interview Troy Ave,” Taxstone expressed. “They interview him ’cause they know he’s gonna talk about me. He has nothing going on … So it’s like the podcast game when I see what was going on. Like with Nore. He was on my podcast. And then for maybe two, three months straight, we was on the phone every day, six in the morning, five in the morning, two in the morning, putting together the ideas for Drink Champs. At first, just summed it up to Nore’s looking for numbers. He don’t care. Like, he’ll sacrifice anything.”

For what it’s worth, Joe Budden responded to criticisms that Taxstone, Rory and Mal, and others threw his way, though he didn’t name any names. “To whom this may concern,” he began on his podcast. “Instead of crtiquing people’s placement on this list, we need more crtiquing on why you’re not on it. To everyone not on it, shut the f**k up. There’s some steps that you n***as have missed. To whom it may concern, stop holding a microphone. It’s certain n***as, y’all can’t speak to me, y’all didn’t do the work yet. You didn’t go to the bookstore. Hire the editors. Get people to help. Invest in the staff. Stop check chasing. Stop doing the bare minimum and expecting that to yield results. You n***as are the bare minimum boys.” For more on this drama and the latest on Taxstone, Joe Budden, and Rory and Mal, return to HNHH.

Cam’ron Disses Michael B. Jordan & Jonathan Majors, Gets Blasted For It

The Dipset leader recently caught a lot of flack online for his criticism of Creed III‘s stars. Moreover, Cam’ron posted some pictures of Jonathan Majors hugging Michael B. Jordan from behind with the caption “The reason I didn’t go see creed.” Of course, a lot of people online were quick to express their problems with this post, as it engages in potentially homophobic or hyper-masculine rhetoric. As many pointed out in the comments, these are just two actors posing for pictures that are clearly just good friends. Still, some like Uncle Murda and Fabulous laughed at the post, and therefore at the two actors’ closeness.

It was actually good,” one user expressed in Cam’ron’s comments section. “Please let’s not promote ‘that’ narrative. Black not love/joy and friendship looks good on Blackman.” Others remarked that the New York MC really showed his age and old-headed mentality with this post. “The older you get bro I swear you get childish,” a fan commented, with another pointing out some discrepancies in Killa Cam’s argument. “That movie came out before these pictures hit the internet so this can’t be the reason you didn’t see the movie. You look like a hater and you reaching for this one.”

Cam’ron Clowns Michael B. Jordan & Jonathan Majors

“Says the lady in pink,” another clapped back, with a supporter adding, “You and Jim jones got pics like this. Tread lightly.” However, some comments took much stronger issue with Cam’ron’s post and pointed out biases and generational circumstances that get men to this point. “Black love and men embracing each other should be a normal everyday occurrence like it is in other cultures. The reason why a lot of these men out here kissing other men is because they didn’t get that type of intimate relationship with their own fathers. Male children also need kisses and hugs from their dads. But y’all don’t want to talk about that! And what’s sad if there were guns in this photo you would have wanted to see the movie. Black men tend to over compensate with violence because they are really hurting and lacking healthy intimacy on the inside.”

Meanwhile, this post actually comes at a bit of a strange moment for Jonathan Majors in particular. Moreover, he recently fell under police custody for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, although he’s since been let out as his lawyers argue his innocence. Many fans expressed shock at the news, and the jury’s still out on whether this reportedly false accusation forms part of a larger pattern. Regardless, stay logged into HNHH for the latest on Jonathan Majors, Michael B. Jordan, and Cam’ron.
