Lizzo Loses Significant Number Of Instagram Followers Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

The lawsuit against Lizzo alleging sexual harassment, body shaming, and other forms of mistreatment dropped like a bombshell in pop culture. In the few days since the news broke, a staggering number of social media followers put their foot down and rescinded their support. While this is understandable given the seriousness of the situation, it seems like the singer’s denial of these allegations hasn’t slowed it down. Moreover, since news broke of this lawsuit from multiple dancers in her team, the account lost over 123,000 followers, with over 80,000 doing so within the last 24 hours or so as of writing this article. The “Special” singer still has around 13 million supporters on the platform.

Furthermore, for those unaware, this comes amid a multi-faceted lawsuit against Lizzo from three former dancers. In addition, her dance captain Shirlene Quigley and the production company Big Grrrl Big Touring are codefendants in this case. Specifically, the allegations claim that the team forced suggestively sexual acts upon the dancers, body shamed them, and creating a hostile work environment. Still, in her response, the 35-year-old dismissed these claims and reversed the blame.

Lizzo Update: “Special” Singer Could Face Trial Over Former Dancers’ Troubling Allegations

As much as we would like to believe that the accusations about Lizzo earlier this week aren’t true, the Detroit native’s former dancers continue to stand their ground. On Tuesday (August 1), they filed a lawsuit against the multi-talent and others on her team, explicitly accusing them of creating a hostile work environment, among other things. One of the plaintiffs accused Lizzo – a plus-sized woman known for empowering others to love the skin they’re in – of fat-shaming her before eventually firing her for weight-related causes. Elsewhere, the dancers allege that the Yitty CEO pressured them to break their boundaries during a trip to a wild Amsterdam strip club.

As the gossip has been making rounds online this week, Lizzo responded via Instagram on Thursday (August 3). Many, including her past employees, were unsatisfied with the message, notably calling the 35-year-old out for seemingly glazing over the allegations of sexual harassment in favour of only addressing weight shaming. An attorney for her former dancers, Neama Rahmani, has now entered the chat and suggests we may see Lizzo in court over the situation.

“Given Lizzo is denying that any of this happened, let’s take it to trial,” the West Coast Employment Lawyers president declared this week. “More witnesses are coming forward every day corroborating the plaintiffs’ allegations, so we’re looking forward to facing Lizzo and her team in court,” they added. While there are others who have shared their own unpleasant experiences working with the “Truth Hurts” hitmaker, internet sleuths have also uncovered videos of the same past employees who are currently taking legal action previously praising their boss for inspiring them with her work.

Lizzo’s Lawsuit Response Rejected As “Dismissive” By Former Dancers

A few days ago the popular music world was shocked by a new lawsuit aimed at Lizzo. The lawsuit claimed sexual harassment and the creation of a hostile work environment. Subsequently, details of the “About Damn Time” singer accusing her dancers of drinking too much and forcing them to suffer through a excruciating audition surprised those who have long followed her positive messages. In particular, one detail about the singer berating a dancer for gaining weight caught plenty of attention. She has long been a beacon for body positivity so fans eagerly awaited her responses to the claims.

That response came this morning in a series of slides posted to Lizzo’s Instagram. ““My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed,” it reads. She claimed the criticism was coming from dancers who had already publicly admitted that their behavior was inappropriate. She called the claims sensationalized and clarified her approach to collaborating. “It’s never my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable or like they aren’t valued as an important part of the team.”

Now according to Page Six, the dancers have responded to Lizzo’s statement. “Lizzo has failed her own brand and has let down her fans,” their response begins. “Her denial of this reprehensible behavior only adds to our clients’ emotional distress.” They called her statement “dismissive” and “quite telling about her character. They concluded their response with continued critique of her behavior. “While Lizzo notes it was never her intention ‘to make anyone feel uncomfortable,’ that is exactly what she did to the point of demoralizing her dancers and flagrantly violating the law.”

In the days following the lawsuit being made public there was plenty more drama for Lizzo. Many fans interpreted Beyonce skipping over her name during a recent Renaissance show as a diss. Lizzo Responds To Sexual Harassment & Weight Shaming Allegations

Lizzo is currently under fire after three of her former dancers sued her for a whole host of reasons. Overall, the allegations made against the artist are quite shocking. The dancers claim that Lizzo had pressured them to commit sexual acts while on tour. In particular, they were asked to take part in some sort of banana sex show in Amsterdam. Additionally, some of the women were told that they were gaining weight and that if it continued, they would be kicked off the tour. Needless to say, fans are devastated by these allegations as they go against what the artist stood for.

Since the allegations surfaced a couple of days ago, fans have been waiting for her to respond. However, she has largely remained quiet on social media, until now. On Thursday morning, Lizzo took to Twitter with her side of the story. As you can imagine, she is completely denying the allegations. Moreover, she says that she is heartbroken that people she gave an opportunity to would say these things. In fact, she claims that these dancers had behaved poorly on tour and had been warned that they could be fired.

Trey Songz Wants Sexual Assault Case Thrown Out Amid Claims Of Bribery

Trey Songz currently faces a mountain of accusations of sexual assault and other problematic behavior. However, based on court documents reported by Radar Online, it seems like the R&B singer wants them entirely dismissed by the court. Moreover, the alleged victim of a 2021 assault at a Miami club, Jauhara Jeffries, claimed that he tried to pay her $200K to lie about it. What’s more is that Songz apparently has another witness to the alleged incident that tells a different story. Mariah Thielen accused Jeffries’ lawyer of offering her between $100K to $200K to lie in order to “paint him as the next R. Kelly.”

Furthermore, Thielen also claimed that Jeffries tried to record Trey Songz at the location where the assault allegedly occurred. After he asked her to stop and she didn’t comply, he reportedly had security escort her away. Regardless, $20 million are on the line for the Virginia native, or at least that’s what Jeffries is suing him for. In addition, she stated that she initially became acquainted with Songz back in 2018 during a party at Diddy’s house.

Meanwhile, other legal trouble recently re-sprouted for the 38-year-old after another victim sued him again following a failed case. “Jane Doe” alleged that Trey Songz grabbed her breast and exposed her at a party, and wants $10 million in damages. What’s more is that the suit also names Kevin Liles and the two’s respective labels (300 Entertainment and Atlantic Records). “In what appeared to be an attempt to further terrify and humiliate [the woman], [Trey Songz] followed the assault with a degrading chant, ‘Titty in the open, titty in the open,” court documents maintained.

“Entities such as Atlantic Records and key executives like Kevin Liles must reassess their obligations toward ensuring the safety and dignity of everyone at any event associated with their artists,” George Vrabeck, the accuser’s lawyer, told Rolling Stone. “My client demands transparency, accountability, and a prioritization of safety over profits.” Amid all this, Songz has denied any and all wrongdoing, so we’ll see how this pans out in the courtroom. Moriah Mills Alleges That Zion Williamson Is A Woman Beater

The Zion Williamson and Moriah Mills drama has been one of the most bizarre and scandalous pop culture stories this year. If you’re not aware, the adult film actress accused the NBA star of cheating on his partner with her and getting her pregnant. Since then, back-and-forth denials and claims of his team threatening Mills, plus some other allegations, took over public discussion. Now, however, much more serious and damning claims came out from Mills about Williamson. In a recent tearful TikTok video, she brought forth allegations that the basketball player physically attacked her and that he was paying her off to stay quiet about it, in a seeming attempt to get his attention and apply pressure to the situation.

“You guys, I literally did not want to come to the Internet and I’m just tired of saving face for this man that’s completely disrespecting me to the world,” Moriah Mills began. “I literally have to take this. Every time I come on the Internet, people are bashing me because of this man. Literally. And I’m tired of it. He said he’s going to send me $62,000. I have yet to receive that since June. I’m literally here.

As far as his personal life goes, Hill recently welcomed his first child with fiancée Olivia Millar, though they’ve largely kept their life out of the spotlight.

Prior to meeting his current partner, the 39-year-old was dating surfer Sarah Brady, who outed him on accusations of being “emotionally abusive” throughout their time together this past weekend. The athlete shared many screenshots of her messages from Hill, in which he set “boundaries” dictating her inability to post swimsuit photos of herself or hang out with people the Californian didn’t already pre-approve of.

In the days since then, another woman has come forward with allegations of troubling behaviour on Hill’s part. “After reading Sarah Brady’s admirable post about #JonahHill, I just gotta say, when I was 16 I got invited to a house party at #JustinLong’s house where he was living with some predator actor from ‘CSI: Miami.’ I’ll look up the name later and find him,” Zoey 101 alum Alexa Nikolas wrote on Twitter recently. “#JonahHill seemed to have his eyes on me because at one point I wanted a cig and he said he had one in his car ‘right outside,’” she went on.

“Didn’t seem like too much of an effort so I trusted him. I went outside and he grabbed the cigs from he front seat. [He] didn’t hand me the cig, which I thought was weird. Then as we walked back I asked him for it, he said nothing but slammed me to the door and shoved his tongue down my throat. I was so appalled I pushed him off me and ran inside,” the former child star claimed. Lately, 6ix9ine has been beefing with Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA. Recently, 6ix9ine took to social media to share a clip that he says shows an altercation they got into. Anuel AA then posted cap emojis on his Instagram Story, claiming that he’s lying. The clip is circulating after the artists took jabs at each other on social media last week. Anuel AA reportedly called 6ix9ine a pedophile, referring to a previous plea deal he took in a case involving a minor. He pled guilty to “using a child in a sexual performance” back in 2015.

6ix9ine fired back, reportedly claiming that Anuel AA “beat his ex while pregnant.” The rappers traded some very serious allegations, and the whole fight appears to surround 6ix9ine’s girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral. Apparently, Anuel AA posted a photo of his child with her on social media. “It’s not my place may God forgive me for this comment but you crossed a line uploading that picture knowing that yailin wasn’t ready,” 6ix9ine said.

“That’s why you only have a picture of her from the hospital because you haven’t seen her since [and] have made yourself seem like a great father on social media,” he wrote. Woman Who Claims She Worked On 03 Greedo’s Case Defends Him Amid Snitching Allegations

Recently, a woman claiming to have worked on 03 Greedo’s case came forward to defend him amid “snitching” allegations. She said in an Instagram comment that he was released from prison early due to footage from a traffic stop. “I watched the footage and reported back to the attorneys,” she explained, “it was a bad stop and a 4th amendment violation.” 1090 Jake then commented on No Jumper‘s post showcasing her comment, asking what her claims have to do with “the statement given to the DEA.”

The woman later responded to 1090 Jake, putting him on blast in an Instagram Story. She posted a screenshot of a DM allegedly sent to her by 1090 Jake. “My name is 1090 Jake I’m the one that did the video on Greedo and received his paperwork from the hood. You got a min to talk?,” the alleged DM reads. Instead of responding to the message, she tore into him publicly. “Obtaining Legal paperwork (that has been falsely altered) from ‘the hood’ is not the same as obtaining official documents from the state or official government source,” she writes.

“Spreading lies online to maliciously promote violence, malice, and publish false statements that is damaging to a person’s reputation via your video,” she continues, “is written defamation.” The woman goes on to tell 1090 Jake that he’s committed a “violation that [he] could be subjected to a lawsuit over.” Later, 1090 Jake took to social media to show an alleged arrest report that he claims supports the allegations. In a clip, he scrolls through the alleged arrest report, showcasing various pieces of information that he claims are included. It’s currently unclear whether or not the documents showcased in the clip are real.

Earlier this week, 03 Greedo denied the allegations. “You know, I did five. Nobody else did nothing off this conviction, this time, whatever y’all calling it,” he said. “Let’s be clear,” he continued, “My hood ain’t mad at me. Ain’t nothing worked out, you hear me? That’s cute.”

Finesse2tymes’ Mother Claims He Didn’t Snitch: “He Did His Time”

Earlier this week, a social media user accused Finesse2tymes of “ratting” on their brother, offering up some paperwork that allegedly backed up their claims. The rapper then hopped on Instagram Live, telling his followers that the allegations aren’t true. “See, you n****s ain’t smart enough. You can’t get no paperwork from when a n***a was a juvenile,” he explained. He continued, “Do you know how many n****s told on me as a juvenile and I can’t go get paperwork to prove it? I can’t pay for it … If it’s true, go look it up! Go pay for it. Go read up on it and then get back at me.”

Now, Finesse2tymes mother has also come to the rapper’s defense. During a livestream, she claimed that her son served 15 years in prison when “he could have” snitched. She called the paperwork “fake,” and said “social media a mess for real.” Finesse2tymes’ mother went on to tell haters that they’re jealous of her son, claiming that they’re only spreading rumors for clout. “He did his time,” she continued.

The rapper’s mother went on to tell viewers they “better stop believing everything” they see on social media. She explained her heated response, saying, “[Her] baby been gone all this time,” serving his sentences “like a man.” Finesse2tymes was released from prison in July of 2022, after serving around five years for gun charges related to a 2017 shooting in Arkansas. Prior to that, he did six years for two felony counts of aggravated robbery and was released in 2016.

Finesse2tymes has made headlines in recent months for beefing with Erica Banks, showing off his three girlfriends, and a deadly stampede that took place at one of his shows with GloRilla. The stampede tragically took the lives of three concert attendees in March of this year. In May, he also roasted a Tennessee club promoter for failing to pay him. Many users called the situation “karma,” as accusations that he sent an impersonator to perform in his place circulated earlier this year.
