Drake Turns Up With Travis Scott In New “100 GIGS” Footage Amid Supposed Beef

Drake and Travis Scott are arguably hip-hop’s two biggest hitmakers right now, so their collaborative bond should come as no surprise. Moreover, this is a relationship that the former highlighted on his @plottttwistttttt IG burner, part of his “100 GIGS” content drop series. In the clip, they both vibe out at a party to the tunes of their “P***y & Millions” collab off Drizzy’s 2022 21 Savage joint album Her Loss, as well as “Beast” by Golomp. However, many fans were particularly interested in this clip because of the supposed beef that the “SICKO MODE” duo has with each other now.

For those unaware, this theory emerged amid Drake’s various 2024 beefs with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, and more. Fans thought that Travis Scott picked a side with his actions, although his subsequent shoutouts to Drake hint toward this just being a speculative assumption. As such, it’s hard to fully get a grasp of what’s going on here and what their relationship looks like now. Apparently, fans will need some more concrete evidence to really set this rumor aside.

Drake & Travis Scott At A Party

Also, this is particularly curious because of Drake’s other content that he shared via this “100 GIGS” platform. For example, he also included a classic clip of Kanye West crediting him with inspiring his Watch The Throne collab album with Jay-Z in 2011. Another video shows the Toronto superstar linking up with J. Cole to buy a whole lot of Born Sinner copies at a Best Buy in 2013. Given the complicated history that he shares with Ye and Cole, it stands to reason that this footage with Travis Scott could also function along this bizarre and potentially shady line, reflecting on the allies that he lost on the way.

Nevertheless, this is all just the latest stop on the gossip train, so take this all with a grain of salt. It’s still ironic, especially as Travis Scott’s Kendrick Lamar collab “goosebumps” just went Diamond. So we’ll see whether Drake or La Flame ever fuel these rumors or if they quell them outright. Until then, all we can do is guess.

Travis Scott Shares An Earlier Young Thug Joint Effort With “Too Many Options”

Travis Scott is really dishing out something for everybody. During this DAYS BEFORE RODEO rerelease, he’s put together all sorts of packages. Vinyl and CD bundles with apparel were the first to come, which are something he’s been doing for quite some time. But last night was arguably the best time to cop something. La Flame put out a total of six versions of the 2014 mixtape, four of which included tracks from the vault. Around the DBR era, it was clear that the Houston native wanted to develop a solid rapport with the Atlanta scene, particularly Young Thug. Travis Scott has a handful tracks with him on these “Vault” exclusives, and one of our favorites is “Too Many Options”.

This one was a part of the third deluxe, which came with the solo cut “Naughty”. Right away, this “Too Many Options” sound extremely familiar. If you were able to pick up on it like we did, you may notice that it sounds like “Where U From” off of Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho. It was the second-to-last track off of the 2017 Quavo collab tape that featured a hazy country trap aesthetic. Irv Gotti Updates Fans On His Health Following Stroke, Says He’s Working On DMX Biopic

Irv Gotti concerned fans this week when Wack 100 alleged that he suffered a stroke, news that he then confirmed shortly after. However, it looks like he’s not wasting much time with this recovery, and is getting right back to his work in quite rapid fashion. Moreover, a representative for the Murder Inc. executive recently spoke to The Shade Room and provided the public with an update on his status. Apparently, he’s doing just fine and is now working on a DMX biopic, which is exciting news for fans of this era. Hopefully these two narratives of recovery and development don’t impact each other in a negative way.

“I’m getting older. That’s all. Only thing worse than getting old is not getting old,” Irv Gotti shared through his representative on Wednesday (August 28). In addition to the DMX film announcement, the rep also expressed Gotti’s disappointment with how Wack 100 revealed this private information publicly. “Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago,” the rep had told TMZ on Wednesday. “He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”

Irv Gotti’s Representative Speaks On Recent Stroke

Despite 50 Cent’s clowning (over romances unrelated to this stroke), Irv Gotti has previously spoken on his struggles with diabetes. “It’s rampant with Black people,” he said on Drink Champs last year. “What it does is, it starts deteriorating your body. No, [it’s not under contol]. I’ve been diagnosed with diabetes forever; it’s hereditary. When my [blood sugar] gets too high, shot [of insulin]. It’s reversible but you gotta change the way you eat, all that. But you know what’s f***ed up with diabetes? So anything that you’re gonna like or tastes good, horrible for you. Now what’s some nasty s**t? Broccoli… you supposed to eat some leaves or s**t like that.”

Meanwhile, Irv Gotti has also denied sexual assault claims against him. “Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him. The lawsuit contains a single page of ‘facts’ which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies,” his representative stated.

The “BB Belt” rapper denies this, telling fans on Twitter Spaces earlier this month that her weight loss is simply the result of a healthy diet and consistent workout routine.

“B*tch, I wish y’all never learned the word Ozempic,” she said at the time. “That’s one thing I wish. Oh my God! Like what even is Ozempic? Wha the f*ck is that? Genuinely, what is that? You lazy a** b*tches never heard of a gym?” she also added. “It’s called eating healthy. It’s called being on tour. Like what the hell. Unfortunately, this did little to quell body shamers. Clearly, the Bronx-born performer has worked hard on her figure and also doesn’t appreciate haters getting it twisted. Ice Spice isn’t the only artist spending time in the gym lately either, as Lizzo also went viral this month for her physical transformation. She shared a before and after video, emphasizing how her time in the gym has paid off.

As for what else Ice Spice is up to these days, she’s currently preparing to wrap up her world tour. She also unleashed her eagerly anticipated debut album Y2K last month. ASAP Rocky was supposed to come out with his new album Don’t Be Dumb today (August 30), but alas, life isn’t always fair. Still, at least he clapped back at the leaks by officially releasing his song “Tailor Swif” and its accompanying music video, as this is one of many songs that emerged online unofficially. Moreover, it’s quite the wild visual set in Kyiv, Ukraine, showing off a whole host of odd characters and very bizarre situations. Overall, it’s exactly the kind of creativity that we would expect from the Harlem multi-hyphenate, and an exciting indication of the creativity this album will surely embody.

Furthermore, A$AP Rocky’s last music video was for “HIGHJACK,” and it was a similarly trippy and awe-inspiring affair. “In this very moment, it’s very grim. That’s an abbreviation,” he recently told Billboard concerning his mentality for this rollout. “It’s infusing German expressionism with ghetto futurism.” It’s probably this type of stylistic melding that prompted the rapper to link up with Tim Burton. “I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was f***ing with it heavy,” he shared. “He was rocking his head and he’s like, ‘Wow! I didn’t know you made that kind of music!’”

Travis Scott Finally Releases Highly Sought After Playboi Carti Collab “Houdini”

Travis Scott is pulling off another impressive feat with his 2014 mixtape, DAYS BEFORE RODEO. La Flame is looking like he’s going to move around 217,000 copies of his 10-year-old project, outselling brand-new efforts from other artists. Just like in 2018 with ASTROWORLD, he’s trying to outpace another massive female artist in sales by dropping off tons of bundles. Last night, the Houston, Texas powerhouse dropped off five new editions. Three of them included two new “Vault” tracks apiece, with the other two being “Chopped N’ Screwed” and “Live From Atlanta” renditions.

“Vault 2” saw Travis Scott include “Hold On” with Quavo and Young Thug and “Respected”. For number three, fans were treated to “Naughty” and “Too Many Options with another Thugger appearance. Finally, “Vault 4” will probably go down as the most treasured of these three because it contains “Quintana Pt. 2 (Mike Dean Outro)” and “Houdini (WHOUDINI)” with Playboi Carti, according to NFR Podcast. If you want to get your hand on either one, especially the latter, you unfortunately cannot.

Fans Have Been Waiting For Travis Scott To Drop “Houdini”

They were available last night only for $4.99 each. However, “Houdini” is a track that’s been floating around the internet for years. A lot of Travis die-hards either have it on their Soundcloud or have a local file of some sort. Additionally, a fan account by the name of Sullyy is sharing the “Vault” tracks on his YouTube, which you can find above. When Scott announced the initial deluxe last week, he said the bonus cuts would be from the DBR era. However, these new bonus songs seem to be pulling from all over his career. “Houdini” was originally a hopeful inclusion for ASTROWORLD, making it a 2017-2018 recording. However, it never made the cut. Now, though, its officially out and fans are ecstatic.

It’s no secret that Sexyy Red sees herself as the “Female Gucci Mane,” but recently, the St. Louis rapper decided to take her dedication a step further. In a clip shared on his Instagram Story yesterday, she’s seen sporting a large ice cream cone tattoo on one side of her face. It’s nearly identical to his, though hers features a red cherry on top.

“Wow Twinn u hardd @sexyyred,” he captioned the clip, which she later shared on her own story. At the time of writing, Sexyy Red has yet to confirm whether or not the tattoo is real, but social media users have their doubts. “I don’t think it’s real, it looks like marker,” one Instagram user writes in The Shade Room’s comments section. “Please lord let it be fake,” another says.

Sexyy Red Shows Off New Tattoo

For now, it looks like fans will just have to wait and find out whether or not Sexyy Red’s ice cream cone is permanent. Earlier this year, for example, Chrisean Rock got a large tattoo of Blueface’s face on her cheek amid his stay in jail. This was shortly after she got another tattoo of his face, which was on her neck, covered up. Bhad Bhabie and the father of her child Le Vaughn also debuted tattoos of each other’s faces earlier this month, though she admits she’s not happy with the piece.

Big Sean has finally released his new album Better Me Than You, and fans are quite happy to witness his growth and development as a rapper. And I was still working on the album. When I last dropped an album, it was COVID. I was excited to plan my release party, I was excited to do all of that. [My mother,] she was giving me them words. And I was just like, look, I can keep working on some s**t and make it exactly how I wanted. But I’d be pushing it back forever.”

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Heading To China For Next “VULTURES Listening Experience”

The VULTURES tandem is going to be traveling back to Asia for another one-off show. According to HipHopDX and NFR Podcast, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign are going to be providing Haikou, China with a VULTURES Listening Experience. The former of the duo was the one to announce this news, however, the post is not on his Instagram anymore. Hopefully, that means that it wasn’t already canceled. But until September 15 comes around, we are going to assume that it’s still on their schedule. Obviously, these one-night performances have seen their fair share of alterations. The most of recent of which was Taiwan and that was supposed to take place on August 25.

Without any explanation, it was axed. Additionally, several others in the U.S. were taken off the calendar in late March. Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, North Carolina and Florida were all taken off ticket buying sites. Additionally, some of the venues made sure to announce the cancelations on their social media accounts. Even though there have been tons of setbacks, Kanye and Ty have been performing more times than not this month.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Are Returning To Asia

On top of their Utah outing, South Korea received one of the biggest set lists we have ever seen. Ye shared the 54 songs he played on his IG, and it was essentially a 20-year career medley. He also made headlines from the East Asia venue for shockingly dedicating a song to Drake mid-performance. Furthermore, he shared some strange, dystopian-like images with the caption, “Where to next”. Well, we know now its Haikou, China and it will be interesting to see what stops the duo pulls out in a few weeks.
