ASAP Rocky Apparently Isn’t Done With His Drake Feud Yet, Reportedly Addressing His Defeated Rival On His New Album

Although Drake waved the white flag after Kendrick Lamar’s relentless assault, ASAP Rocky reportedly still has some shots left for him. According to Hot97 DJ Kast One, Rocky hasn’t forgotten the swipes Drake took at him on “Push Ups,” his initial response to Kendrick’s declaration of war on “Like That.”

“I heard A$AP Rocky definitely addressing a lot of the main topics that are happening out there right now,” Kast One told his fellow hosts. “Let’s just say the list keeps going on strong.” After being asked for clarification by Ebro Darden, who wondered if “Rocky is still on Drake’s list,” Kast One confirmed, “Oh, he’s gonna be cemented on the list after this.”

Although the two rappers were at one point collaborators and appeared to be good friends, all that changed after ASAP Rocky began dating Rihanna — who Drake also formerly dated — and eventually had two kids with her. Drake seemingly lashed out at his old flame on his For All The Dogs song “Fear Of Heights,” after which, it seemed friendly feelings between him and Rocky two went out the window.

Fans were sure Rocky aimed a line or two at Drake on Kid Cudi’s single “WOW” early this year, followed by another sneaky diss on Metro Boomin and Future’s We Still Don’t Trust You track “Show Of Hands.” If he continues to go in, the beleaguered Drake just might have to call in sick for the rest of the year.

Following the release of “a href=”https://uproxx.com/music/killer-mike-humble-me-2024-grammys-arrest-video/” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>Humble Me” earlier this month, Killer Mike has said in a statement, “I had a year to live with Michael, and I realized I had more I wanted to do with this sound before moving on.”

Michael is his previous album, and the statement is regarding a new project: Today (July 29), Mike announced Songs For Sinners & Saints, a fresh album that we won’t have to wait long for, as it’s set to drop this week, on August 2. The project is credited to Michael & The Mighty Midnight Revival.

Mike says in a statement, “For me, this is a testimonial. When I was growing up an important part of church service was people having the opportunity to stand up and give public testimony on their trials, tribulations, and triumphs. After the celebratory atmosphere that followed Michael, I was reminded that tribulations never cease, but God is always with me and this is a testimonial of my tumultuous times, my trials, and my continued triumph in spite of doubt, outright hate, and fear. I am here to speak to and with my fellow sinners and Saints.”

Tia Kemp says she’s tired of getting her child support payments in doses of $20,000 and wants Rick Ross to cover their son’s entire college tuition in one bill. She shared the total fee of $209,931.58 in a recent post on social media.

“I ain’t playing,” she said in a video. “I need you to call your daddy right now, you tell him. You screenshot this right now, that right there,” she added, pointing to a figure of $209,931.58. Who the f*ck give a f*ck about your child support payments, b*tch. And if I want some more, I’ll take my ass over to family court and get some while he going to college.” She further added: “You got to worry about them eight or nine over there you got. You going to be paying child support for [them] ‘tlll you about 70.”

The Game At Risk Of Losing His Home Thanks To New Legal Filing

Priscilla Rainey is not going to give up on getting what she feels she rightfully deserves. For those unaware, she is The Game’s sexual assault accuser. This lawsuit is still going, despite it starting back in 2015. It stems from an encounter on VH1’s She’s Got Game, something the rapper has vehemently denied any involvement in. “Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin s***!”, he said in 2016. “Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her”.

So much so, that the California MC decided to never show up for a court hearing during that year. Rainey was looking for $10 million in damages, but instead won a default judgement $7 million. This brings us to a few weeks ago when she took home another win in another lawsuit. This is allowing her to collect assets in order to fulfill the $7 million, one of which is the rapper’s home in Calabasas.

The Game Has Been Fed Up With These Sexual Assault Accusations

Now, AllHipHop has received the latest court documents that were filed by Rainey and her attorney, Janelle M. Dease. In them, they are asking the judge to try and get The Game to sell the aforementioned property. Additionally, Dease is requesting that he come in for a hearing to give him a chance to argue against selling. “I further request that the Court set a time and place for hearing and order the Judgment Debtor to show cause why an order for sale of the dwelling should not be made in accordance with this application”. Both Dease and Rainey have found that his home is worth around $3.1 million, which would be only half of the judgement satisfied.

What are your thoughts on The Game being in danger of selling his Calabasas home thanks to his sexual assault accuser’s new document filing? Do you foresee this actually happening in the near future? Whose side of the story are you on in this case? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Drake Demands Gordo To Give Him His Proper Credit

Over the weekend, Drake and producer Gordo (formerly Carnage), teamed up on multiple occasions for the latter’s debut album under his new name, DIAMANTE. You can hear them together on the closer, “Healing”, as well as track two, “Sideways”. Both see Drizzy crossover into the dance genre, something that he has done a few times throughout his career. Each of them are very groovy and danceable cuts for the late summer nights. Fairly predictably, their collaborations are amongst the most streamed on the record so far. Yes, despite Drake being the jester of the rap world at the moment, he is still drawing plenty of ears to anything he’s attached to.

“Healing” and “Sideways” are the first collaborations between the two, and we can only imagine that him and Gordo would team up again down the road. Or, will they? Just a few hours ago, Drake took to his Instagram Story to share something pretty shocking. According to the rapper, he had a third “collaboration” with the American-Nicaraguan beat maker. “Cafecito”, currently the most played song on DIAMANTE, should have Drake’s name under the production credits.

Drake Claims “It’s All Good” With Gordo

If you check out the Genius page for the record, his name is in fact nowhere to be found. So, Drake decided to call out Gordo saying, “I made this beat with you but it’s all good… 🌶🌶🌶@gordoszn”. This is classic passive-aggressive behavior from the Canadian superstar, something that he displays on social media whenever he’s feeling some type of way. If this is true, that is pretty surprising, considering the aforementioned songs they have together on the record. Gordo has yet to respond, and it will be interesting to see what comes of this.

What are your thoughts on Drake calling out Gordo on Instagram for not giving him a production credit? Do you think this is a bad look for the rapper or the producer, and why? Could you see this leading to a new beef for The Boy? Which collaboration between the two on DIAMANTE are you enjoying the most? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Drake and Gordo. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Drake Quotes “Not Like Us” on Instagram: ‘Sometimes You Gotta Pop Out’

Drake Dreamville

Drake is no stranger to having lookalikes. However, using bars from “Not Like Us” to comment on their posts on Instagram is a bit new.

Over the weekend, Drake posted a clip of one of his fakes performing “Hotline Bling.” On his Instagram Story, he wrote, “Sometimes you gotta pop out,” a nod to the “Not Like Us” diss track aimed at him.

It’s good to see he takes the beef in stride.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” remains #1 on YouTube’s US Top Songs and ranks #3 on Global Top Songs. Boosted by a recently released video, the track garnered over 34.2 million global views during the charting period. Lamar’s song “Euphoria” is also at #45, and he ranks #2 on US Top Artists.

Just last week, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” surged back to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart following the July 4 premiere of its official video. The track marks its second week at the top, after debuting at No. 1 nine weeks earlier.

The song, released under pgLang/Top Dawg/Aftermath/Interscope/ICLG, has solidified its place in pop culture, maintaining positions between Nos. 2 and 6 for eight weeks, including the last two at No. 3. Lamar achieves his first multi-week Hot 100 No. 1 as a solo artist, having previously led for a week in 2017 with “Humble.”

“Not Like Us” boasts 53.8 million official streams (up 20%), 40 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 9%), and 8,000 units sold (up 16%) in the U.S. from July 5-11. This marks the song’s fifth week with over 50 million weekly streams, a 2024 record.

In addition, the track ascends 2-1 on the Streaming Songs chart, 6-4 on Digital Song Sales, and reaches a new peak at 10-9 on Radio Songs.
