IShowSpeed Cries And Ends Stream After Falling For Cristiano Ronaldo Death Hoax

If there’s one thing that streamer IShowSpeed loves, it’s soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo, who currently plays in Saudi Arabia, has long been Speed’s favorite player. However, such a public level of love leaves him vulnerable to some serious trolling.

While streaming on August 31, Speed was alerted to the fact that “RIP CR7” was trending on social media. Speed became increasingly distressed as he scrolled through tweets that appeared to suggest that Ronaldo had died. He begins to beg his chat to drop the act and tell him that it’s fake if it is. After counting down from ten and scrolling through Twitter some more, Speed ended the stream.

Speed Gets Mixed Sympathy

First of all – Google is a thing. If you a celebrity death is trending on social media, use Google to verify that it’s actually real. At no point does Speed does this. He just keeps scrolling Twitter over and over. However, the comments on the reposted clips show that people are starting to tire of Speed’s antics. “He gettin too old/famous to play along with it when his chat does that😭 this exact scenario has gone viral like 8 times since he’s blown up,” one user noted. “Bro is just loud no lie,” another added.

However, many people also saw the clip as just the funniest thing in the world, while also feeling genuine sympathy for Speed. Again, Google is a very useful tool and should not be replaced by YouTube and stream chat. However, one user noted that this is all part of Speed’s plan. “I mean it works💀 it keeps his young fanbase engaged lol, he could easily ignore it because obviously he knows its fake but he likes to play along. Will Nicki Minaj Be On Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs?’

With anticipation for Drake’s album For All The Dogs ratcheting up every passing day, there are certainly some fans wondering which of the Toronto rapper’s A-list friends will make appearances on the tracklist. While he’s had quite the run with 21 Savage lately, he’s also had some impressive runs throughout his career with the likes of Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Travis Scott.

But there’s one artist he’s close with we haven’t seen him collaborate with for a long time: Nicki Minaj. While the two Young Money artists rose in parallel with each other, in recent years, they’ve worked together less than they did when they were starting out. So, understandably there are plenty of fans wondering whether they’ll reunite on one of their upcoming albums (Nicki’s Pink Friday 2 is due in November).

Fortunately, they’re getting some good news on that front. During an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Nicki revealed that she’ll have a guest appearance on Drake’s upcoming album. “You know, I have a song on Drake’s album coming out soon too,” she said. “I love the song so much. I’ll just say I really love the song. I know my fans are going to love the song. I know the world’s going to love the song. And that’s all I will say about that.” As far as whether he is planning to return the favor, Nicki joked, “Barbz, make sure y’all let Drizzy Drake know that Pink Friday 2 is coming out November 17th as well. And we are waiting on his contribution.”

Pras Reveals He Only Learned Of Fugees Reunion Last Week

Last week, Lauryn Hill announced that she’d be celebrating the 25th anniversary of her iconic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill with a tour. She’ll kick things off next week with a performance in Minneapolis, before going on to perform in over 15 cities. Hill will also be joined by some very special guests. For obvious reasons, fans are thrilled to celebrate her 1998 solo effort with her live.

“The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator,” she said in a press release. “I wrote love songs and protest songs—(still love songs) about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me. I was confident that what inspired me would resonate with an audience that had been led to believe that songs of that kind could only live in the past.” Koffee will join her on the tour, as well as her Fugees groupmates Wyclef Jean and Pras.

Pras Says He Heard About The Reunion Through The Media

 

News of the Fugees reunion was as a welcome surprise for fans. It looks like it was a surprise for Pras, too. TMZ Hip Hop recently chatted with the artist about the tour, and whilst sipping on a smoothie, he revealed that he just learned about it last week. They reunited again back in June at the 2023 Roots Picnic, which also took the performer by surprise. At the time, however, reps told fans to “stay tuned!!!” Pras is in the midst of some legal trouble, but luckily, he appears to be in good spirits.

In April of this year, Pras was given a guilty verdict in his federal conspiracy case. He’s currently awaiting sentencing, which could leave him spending up to 20 years behind bars. Doja Cat Goes Full Demon In New Viral Pictures

Doja Cat has been leaning into controversial imagery more and more recently. After some fans complained about the playfully demonic imagery in the early singles from her new album Scarlet she doubled down. The third single from the album is literally called “Demons” and fans were fittingly upset that it’s demonic and satanic. They called out the album cover for its imagery and Doja herself hit back hard. “Y’all so b*tchmade you probably couldn’t make it through an episode of ‘Goosebumps’, f*ckin p*ssies,” she said in an Instagram post directed at them.

Doja Cat dropped the music video for the song overnight. It features her dressed up as a demon haunting the dreams of Yellowjackets actress Christina Ricci. While that unsurprisingly resulted in some backlash from fans, it wasn’t even the most controversial or viral thing she dropped last night. She shared some new pictures online that show her demon look in much more detail. Fans had a pretty stunned reaction to where Doja went with her new look. “Nah this is crazy,” reads one of the top comments on the post. “How tf we get here from the cow song,” another fan hilarious observes. Doja Cat’s Newest Demon Controversy

Doja Cat took to social media earlier this week to announce a release date for her new album Scarlet. Fans can expect to hear her new album later this month when it drops on September 22. She’s released three singles from the album so far. Before “Demons” she released “Attention” and “Paint The Town Red.” The latter has become a pretty successful hit vaulting into the top 5 of the Hot 100 this week.

Doja Cat has been extremely active on her Instagram recently. Tory Lanez Reportedly Married Now According To Bail Motion

Tory Lanez is currently in the middle of his appeal and bail process, which so far revealed some very interesting and surprising information. However, this specific new development has little to do with his crimes, and more with his personal life and growth. Moreover, reporter Meghann Cuniff recently released the full bail motion from the Canadian artist’s legal team. It states that his fiancée, Raina Chassagne, with whom he shares a six-year-old child, is now his wife. Furthermore, this relationship seemingly developed quickly, as Cuniff explained in the tweet containing a screenshot of the legal document.

“From his sentencing hearing engagement announcement to his bail motion wedding announcement, Tory Lanez’s relationship status has advanced rapidly in the last few weeks,” Meghann Cuniff remarked. “His fiancée is now his wife, according to the motion.” Specifically, this move mentioned the wedding in relation to Daystar Peterson being unlikely to flee or go off the map is he gets bail. Even though it’s a hard time, it’s at least a silver lining for Lanez amid a lot of struggle. Despite his actions and attitude, it’s always important for people to have someone there to help them.

Tory Lanez’s Bail Motion

“Mr. Peterson continues to have strong ties to the community, as shown through testimony at his sentencing hearing within this honorable court on August 7th and 8th, 2023,” Tory Lanez’s bail motion read. “If released, he would live locally in the Los Angeles area, with his wife, Raina Chassagne, and their child, aged 6 years-old. Upon receiving bail, Mr. Peterson’s wife and child will be relocating from Florida to Los Angeles, where the child will be regularly attending school. They will rent a home near Mr. Peterson’s father, step-mother, siblings, and their children.”

Meanwhile, it seems like Lanez’s legal team is still committed to getting him out of prison and shifting things as much in his favor as possible. It’s still a controversial situation, but one that’s mostly in retrospect now. It wouldn’t be surprising if that changes, but his sights are on the court system now, not Megan Thee Stallion or the culture. Yung Bleu learned that the hard way earlier this week when his baby mama, Tiemeria, came across another woman’s TikTok storytime about her experience being romanced by the recording artist. The alleged mistress, Tenom, was excited to get in contact with Bleu initially, but upon learning of his “weirdo” tendencies, she quickly decided to move on. He apparently brought her on a private jet, though he refused to speak to her during their travels.

After seeing the video for herself, Tiemeria responded in a social media statement, calling the Alabama native out for embarrassing her. When Tenom got wind of the drama unfolding, she hopped back online to make another controversial video. “I don’t give a d**n about her or Bleu! I came on here to tell my f**king story,” she yelled into the camera while continuously adjusting her hair. “Girl, you can keep your man! Trust me, I think he’s gay anyway. I didn’t even see her s**t but I hope she ain’t getting smart,” Tenom popped off.

As that video began circulating, people in the comments were quick to let Tenom know that Tiemeria is actually on her side in the situation. “She agreed with you mama,” one of them wrote on her TikTok. “Ohhhh lol tell her I’m sorry 😭😭😭,” Bleu’s sneaky link wrote back. “You know b**ches be ready to fight over their man.”

While the tea about Yung Bleu’s alleged mistress is definitely piping hot, it’s worth noting that the R&B artist has had an impressive year musically so far. Meek Mill Speaks On 12-Year-Old Found Dead In Philadelphia

Meek Mill has taken it upon himself to speak out about gun violence in his city. The Philly native took to his Instagram story to share a heartwrenching story. Recently, the body of a 12-year-old with a gunshot wound to his head was found in a dumpster. According to ABC News, an investigation is currently underway. The young victim was identified as Hezekiah Bernard.

In the post, Meek Mill delivered a call to action to the Black community about fighting back against inner-city violence. “They playing so ruthless in Philly. The self-hatred level on 1000 degrees with Blacks… and it’s only getting worse,” he wrote in one post. In another post, he talked about gathering the “old heads” to “clear some of this sh*t up.”

They need to let us fight this sh*t back,” Meek Mill wrote. “Me and the old heads can clear some of this sh*t up.” He continued on: “We need the jails behind us too so it’s no escaping! The wrong women or child get killed I don’t think we will be able to turn back.” Also, Staff Inspector Ernest Ransom, head of the police department’s homicide unit, has called on the public to help catch the offenders. “We need the help of the public to identify the offenders in this investigation,” Ransom said. “The focus of this investigation is the swift apprehension of those involved in this senseless death.” 

However, this isn’t the first time Meek Mill has used his platform to speak out against injustice. A few weeks back, he called out record labels for taking advantage of Black artists. Additionally, he accused them of profiting from Black murder and poverty. “It’s almost to a point where we going to aim artist and their entourage towards the ones taking out money and leading us to bad business decisions,” he began. “Fck these labels they operating without consequences in the biggest scheme to date.” The rapper added, “IF YOU LETTING LABELS TAKE YOUR MONEY HOW YOU BEEFING WITH N**AS IN THE HOOD OVER NOTHING.”
