Lakers owner Jeanie Buss is officially off the market. According to TMZ, Buss got married to comedian Jay Mohr in Malibu.

The wedding was a very small beach ceremony with just 20 close friends and family members in attendance. No Lakers players were in attendance or any other famous people.

Diddy Turns Down Nine-Figure Deal and Gives Bad Boy Artists Their Publishing Rights

Salute to Diddy for showing the Bad Boy Records artists love. Cam’ron revealed last week Ma$e was getting his publishing, but he isn’t the only artist. All Bad Boy artists did.

According to TMZ, Diddy turned down a nine-figure deal so he could give the publishing to Ma$e, Faith Evans, The Lox, 112, The Notorious B.I.G.’s estate, and more. Diddy is also giving publishing to the writers.

Diddy was reportedly approached by people who wanted to buy the publishing rights, instead opting to empower artists in the hope the music business would follow him as an example.

On Thursday (Aug. 30), Dipset general and ‘It Is What It Is” host Cam’Ron tipped off the move with his It Is What It Is co-host and longtime friend Ma$e.

Cam wrote, “My n***a murder had to sit this one out. He just got his publishing back from Puff. Just finished the paper work for that yesterday. Congrats @rsvpmase while he getting his music back in order, I’m dumping my hard drive pause. The lost files vol 1. Sept 8.” 

After Ma$e claimed that his former boss and Bad Boy founder Diddy gave him a modest $20K for his publishing, the “Harlem World” slang spitter said he offered Diddy $2 million for his publishing back in 2020, but Mr. Combs refused his offer.

After a lengthy five-year period since her debut album, Invasion Of Privacy, Cardi B is ready to share another project. Fans might have enjoyed her string of guest verses on tracks such as her “Jealousy” with her husband Offset, FendiDa Rappa’s “Point Me 2,” and Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor Again,” but Cardi is ready to drop a record of her own.

Yesterday (September 3), Cardi hinted that she had a major announcement on the horizon. Today (September 4), the cat’s out of the bag. In a post uploaded to Cardi’s official Instagram page, she revealed her next single as the lead artist. The track titled “Bongos” will be shared onto steaming services on Friday (September 8).

As if the track itself wasn’t enough, it will feature “WAP” collaborator Megan Thee Stallion, who herself hasn’t shared her own music since last year’s album Traumazine.

Although in August, Cardi told magazine Vogue Mexico, “I’m not going to release any more collaborations, I’m going to publish my next solo single,” based on what she and Megan were able to cook up on “WAP” supporters will surely overlook that statement.

Moreover, the one and only Diana Ross emerged during the performance to sing happy birthday to Beyonce along with 60 to 70,000 fans in attendance. Unsurprisingly, the “CUFF IT” singer could barely express her excitement and emotion in the moment, and embraced and thanked Ross for being there that night. Overall, it was a show filled with instances like these where she could really feel the love. If you recall some of the big hip-hop stories so far this year, one of those for the Southern crowd was the beef between Boosie Badazz and T.I. Moreover, the two fought over snitching allegations against the Atlanta trap pioneer, which followed a long string of disputes and reconciliations before that. With all that as context, the most important thing right now is that, at least as of writing this article, everything’s good between them. In fact, it seems like they’re still planning to release something that their beef got in the way of. During an interview with VladTV uploaded Sunday (September 3), the Baton Rouge MC said that they will work on their joint album.

“Yeah, I think we’re gonna get it together,” Boosie expressed to DJ Vlad. “We ain’t got back in the studio yet. But I think we’re gonna get it together. We’ve been working on other s**t right now.” In addition, Badazz also revealed that he will perform for T.I.’s son King soon. Maybe that show is what will get the gears turning for this collab to happen months after the two settled their feud.
