Cardi B Issues Warning To Tasha K: ‘Don’t Ever Put TakeOff Name In Ya Mouth’

Youtube blogger Tasha K took to social media  questioning Cardi’s ability to cope with grief following the death of the late Migos rapper Takeoff.

“Wasn’t she posting guns right after Takeoff died?,” Tasha K asked her social followers. “And on the internet, cutting up not long after his sudden takeoff? I’m just asking… everyone grieves diff.”
Cardi B took to Twitter to call out the YouTuber, calling her remarks despicable and accusing her of hypocrisy.

Cardi B opened up about her grief over Takeoff’s passing. She shared the emotional toll it has taken on her, including weight loss, difficulty eating and sleeping, and ongoing grief that she shares with her husband, Offset.

Cardi then spoke about the threats she faces as a rapper and her need for personal protection, highlighting the relevance of her gun ownership. The Grammy Award-winning rapper then alleged that Tasha K is hiding money in Africa, a claim she believes her lawyers are aware of.

Cardi B is set to seize blogger Tasha K’s YouTube account money after the blogger failed to pay up on the $4 million defamation lawsuit. Tasha K lost her appeal in March 2023 and was ordered to pay the Bronx rapper, but she claims to have just over $1,000 in her bank account.
Thoughts?

Juice WRLD And Cordae Team Up On New Single, “Doomsday”

Juice WRLD just released another posthumous collaboration. This time, he teamed up with Cordae. Renowned music video director and influential creator Cole Bennett has entered into a partnership with Def Jam Recordings. Many may know him from his friendship with the late Juice WRLD or for his company Lyrical Lemonade. As part of this collaboration, Lyrical Lemonade has released its debut single titled “Doomsday.” The track features a highly anticipated and previously unreleased collaboration between Juice WRLD and Cordae. The music video for the single is now available, as well.

When asked about the release, Cordae expressed his tribute to Juice WRLD. “Long Live Juice WRLD,” the rapper said simply. Both Cole Bennett and Cordae built up anticipation for the release through social media posts. This includes the interesting short film “whyrush?” directed by Bennett. This generated excitement and speculation among Lyrical Lemonade’s large subscriber community. Additionally, it excited the wider hip-hop culture.

Juice WRLD And Cordae Shine Together On “Doomsday”

“Doomsday” is a captivating track that brings together the Grammy-nominated rapper Cordae and the late Juice WRLD. It features their skillful wordplay and thought-provoking verses. They are set to music over the iconic Dr. Dre-produced beat of Eminem’s “Role Model.” The song showcases both rapper’s distinct style in a powerful collaboration. The accompanying music video was, of course, directed by Cole Bennett. It creates a visually stunning spectacle, utilizing technology to seamlessly transform Cordae into Juice WRLD and vice versa. All of this happens while chaos unfolds around them.

For those who don’t know, the release of “Doomsday” sets the stage for something much larger. Lyrical Lemonade’s upcoming debut full-length album is scheduled to be released later this year. Given the exciting nature of the first single, it’s likely that there will be quite a bit more to look forward to. Fans can anticipate the release more exciting collaborations in the near future. What do you think of the new single? Be sure to sound off in the comments and let us know! Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates on Juice WRLD.

Quotable Lyrics:

I smoke ten Js with two hoes that go both ways
Funny how two plus two equals foreplay
Speakin’ of foreplay, had this shit in the hallway with
A nun on Sunday, I guess I’m just too blessed

Young Thug Shares A Message From Jail On His Track With Drake From ‘Business Is Business’

Last week, Young Thug announced a mysterious release titled “Business Is Business” with a countdown timer set to end the following week. True to its word, the countdown concluded with the release of Thug’s new album Business Is Business. It arrived with 15 songs and features from Drake, Future, Travis Scott, Yak Gotti, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, BSlime, Lil Got It, and Nate Ruess. The album opened with a record titled “Parade On Cleveland” which features Drake, and on it, Thug delivers a quick message from jail.

Following a verse from Drake, the Toronto rapper presumably accepts a collect call to the Cobb County Adult Detention Facility from Thug himself. “Wassup my brother, talk to me, what’s the word?” Drake asks and Thug replies, “Uh, I ain’t doin’ sh*t, man. Just pushin’ more Peter, more sweeter, more completer than any Peter pusher around. See what I’m sayin’ Slime?”

For what it’s worth, it seems like Thug is in good spirits based on that phone call, which is good to hear considering that the rapper has been in jail for over a year now.

You can listen to “Parade From Cleveland” in the video above.

Business Is Business is out now via YSL/300 Entertainment/Atlantic Records. Find more information here.

Some artists covered here are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

However, given the past year’s events, Coi is poised to receive a much better reception than its predecessor.

[LISTEN] Young Thug Drops Surprise Album ‘Business Is Business’ Featuring Drake, Future + More

unnamed

Despite his ongoing troubles with the law—Young Thug still remains a Grammy Award-winning, multi platinum, chart-topping artist. The CEO of Young Stoner Life Records just released his new full-length studio album, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS.

This project marks his first full-length solo album since 2021’s Punk, which bowed at #1 on the Billboard 200. Last week, a QR code appeared on Thug’s Instagram, attracting curiosity and buzz to www.businessisbusiness.biz. Today, as the countdown ended, he delivered the surprise arrival of the 15-track album, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS.

When asked about the album, Young Thug simply replied with “Business is Business.”

BUSINESS IS BUSINESS features collaborations with 21 Savage, Drake, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott and more. A thought-provoking image of Thug in court serves as the artwork for the album.

Inspired by the weaponization of Young Thug’s art against him, 300 Elektra Entertainment Chairman and CEO Kevin Liles has spearheaded the Protect Black Art movement to limit the use of creative expression against artists in courtrooms. It has already inspired legislation signed into law California, the passage of bills in state houses in Louisiana, Missouri, and New York, as well as the introduction of the RAP Act at the federal level, which today has 22 co-sponsors. Notably, the California law has already led to an appeals court overturning a conviction, calling the prosecutor’s usage of lyrics “prejudicial” and stating the “remaining evidence was not strong.” Liles said, “This is a movement, not a moment. The prosecutorial overreach in the case against Jeffery – a great father, CEO, and leader in his community – has awakened the artistic community to the growing attack on their First Amendment rights.”
