Andrew Bogut Doubles Down On Offensive Tweets Aimed At Kendall Jenner

Former NBA star Andrew Bogut doubled down on offensive remarks he made toward supermodel and media personality Kendall Jenner. The former number one overall pick has been targeting Jenner following her recent public split with Phoenix Suns point guard Devin Booker.

“With the 2022 @NBA draft completion yesterday, one big name has yet to find a home,” the 37-year-old former said on his Twitter page. “Which team will snap up @KendallJenner??”

“Solid talent, versatile. ?? marks around team culture + habit of endless self promotion. Doctors will need to do medical as body has been banged up.”

This sparked outrage from fans of the NBA and Jenner, calling the remarks “slut shaming.” After four days of outrage, Bogut chose to add more fuel to the fire.

Calvin Harris Announces The ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol 2’ Release Date And Features

Calvin Harris’ first Funk Wav Bounces album, which was released in June 2017, has become something of a cult favorite among dance music fans, who’ve agitated for a follow-up ever since. Harris recently began the rollout for Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, dropping its first single, “Potion” featuring Dua Lipa and Young Thug, in May. Today, he finally shared the project’s long-awaited release date: August 5. He also teased the guestlist via a short video of waves crashing on a sunny shore with the names flashing across the screen.

Those names include 21 Savage, 6lack, Charlie Puth, Chloe, Halsey, Jorja Smith, Justin Timberlake, Latto, Lil Durk, Normani, Offset, Pharrell, Pusha T, Shenseea, Snoop Dogg, Stefflon Don, and Tinashe.

Ironically, there couldn’t be a better time for Harris to return with Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, as a new wave of dance music — particularly dance music crafted by some of the world’s biggest entertainers — appears to be cresting. Just weeks ago, Drake surprise-dropped his club-influenced new album, Honestly, Nevermind, prompting a renewed interest and discussion of Black musicians in the art form, then Beyonce followed up with her new single “Break My Soul,” which even had national news programs looking up vocal house legend Robin S. to get her take on the out-of-nowhere revival of Black house music.

R. Kelly Has Been Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison For Sex Trafficking And Racketeering

R. Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, according to Variety. The R&B star was found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking in New York in September of 2021. Kelly was accused of recruiting women and teen girls (and at least one boy) in a sex-trafficking ring throughout the ’90s and 2000s, using his status, money, and connections to violate anti-sex trafficking laws and cover up his crimes. Federal prosecutors had previously recommended a sentence “in excess of 25 years,” believing him to be a continued danger to the public.

The earliest examples of Kelly’s crimes date as far back as 1994, when he illegally married the underaged Aaliyah, allegedly bribing public officials for phony documents saying she was of age. Meanwhile, he went on trial for child pornography in the early 2000s after a videotape emerged depicting Kelly urinating on a young teen girl. When the victim refused to testify, Kelly was acquitted but apparently never reformed, continuing his illegal activities throughout the following decade and a half.

His crimes were once again exposed by the Lifetime documentary series Surviving R. Kelly, in which many of his victims came forward to detail his abuse. With the uptick in campaigns such as “Mute R. Kelly,” his resources for dodging the authorities became scarce; he was arrested and charged with sex trafficking in July 2019. In addition to the federal case brought against him in New York, he faces a separate criminal trial in his home state, Illinois, where he is charged with ten counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse including more child porn charges. That trial is set to begin in August; Kelly has secured Bill Cosby’s former legal team ahead of the trial and is expected to appeal his New York case with the same team.

Quincy Jones III Recalls Michael Jackson Turning Down 2pac Collab Over Biggie Smalls Loyalty

Quincy “QD3” Jones III, son of the legendary Quincy Jones, says that Tupac’s team reached out to Michael Jackson in hopes of him appearing on “Thug Nature,” but the collaboration never came to fruition because of The Notorious B.I.G. QD3 recalled the incident during BET’s oral history of The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory.

“So I set up a meeting at Neverland [Ranch],” Jones III explained, as noted by HipHopDX. “I go up there and told Michael about it. And do you know what Micheal said? He liked Biggie.”

“Thug Nature,” which samples Jackson’s 1983 Thriller hit “Human Nature,” ended up being scrapped from The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory entirely. It wasn’t until the 2000 Death Row compilation, Too Gangsta For Radio, that “Thug Nature” saw the light of day.

Continuing with BET, Jones III described what it was like working with the late west coast legend. The two collaborated numerous times, including All Eyez On Me‘s “Heaven Ain’t Hard 2 Find.”

“‘Pac would take all my beats including the ones I would never play for people,” he said. “I learned a lesson that you gotta be spontaneous more and he taught me how to just think and just do it. ‘Pac would get irritated when you sat there and fiddled with sounds almost like you were disrespecting his time a little bit.”

He added: “I would say he was manic. There would be moments that called for quiet voice and candles and all that and he would be screaming and smoking Newports. He was on fire with this manic push. He was always pushing. You could tell he wasn’t comfortable in some way and there was something that was making him uncomfortable.”

Future Hits Up Little Havana For “Holy Ghost” Visual

Future is one of the most influential artists in the game right now and at 38 years old, he continues to showcase just how talented he really is. His latest album I Never Liked You was a massive success and it features some of his stickiest hooks to date. There are plenty of great songs to choose from on the album, with one of them being the track “Holy Ghost.” It’s a song with aggressive production that allows Future to shine and offer up equally aggressive flows and catchy lines.

Today, Future dropped a music video for this song, and as you can see, the artist took to Little Havana in Miami for the visual. Throughout the new video, Future can be seen walking throughout the neighborhood all while his supposed girlfriend does chores outdoors. Future also makes good use of his time in the neighborhood as he mingles with the locals who have completely embraced his presence. It’s a nice look inside of the Little Havana neighborhood, and it’s cool to see Future fitting in seamlessly.
