Donte DiVincenzo appeared to call out his former head coach, Tom Thibodeau, during his return to Madison Square Garden after the Knicks traded him to the Minnesota Timberwolves as a part of a blockbuster trade. After the preseason game on Sunday, he also needed to be separated from Knicks assistant Rick Brunson during a tense exchange of words.

DiVincenzo addressed his feelings about the trade while speaking with The New York Daily News at his locker before the game. “The timing is obviously not the most ideal, so figuring out the living situation, getting the family comfortable. That’s like the first thing you try to do. Because the basketball kind of takes care of itself,” DiVincenzo said. “You think about anything when you’re on the court. When you’re off the court, you just have to figure out logistics of life. I think that’s the biggest adjustment.”

Police Arrest Man With Guns And A High Capacity Magazine Outside Donald Trump Rally In California

Authorities in Coachella Valley, California seemingly thwarted another assassination attempt on Donald Trump after arresting a man allegedly found to be carrying multiple guns and a high-capacity magazine outside of his rally over the weekend. They charged him with possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco discussed the arrest at a press conference on Sunday. “The way it worked yesterday is only people that were allowed inside the perimeter, the outside perimeter, inside a vehicle was if you lived there or if you had documentation that said you were going to this rally,” Bianco said, as noted by CBS. He further explained that Miller “gave all indications that he belonged there,” but authorities noticed his car was in disarray. They searched his vehicle and found him to be “illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine.”

He further described Miller as a “lunatic” and an alleged member of Sovereign Citizens. “They are certainly considered a far-right group,” Bianco said of the organization. “I wouldn’t say it’s a militant group. It’s just a group that doesn’t believe in government and government control.” He added that he believes Miller intended to commit an assassination attempt on the former president.

As for whether he will face federal charges, the United States Attorney’s Office said in a statement caught by CBS: “The U.S. Secret Service assesses that the incident did not impact protective operations and former President Trump was not in any danger. Wanda Smith, the legendary Atlanta radio personality best known for co-hosting Frank and Wanda in the Morning, on V-103 has passed away at the age of 58. The station confirmed the news in a post on social media on Saturday night.

V-103 SVP & Market Manager, Rick Caffey, shared the following message on Instagram: “Our hearts are weighing heavier today as we grieve the loss of our beloved Wanda Smith, someone who always made us smile and who was a big part of V-103 for years. We extend our deepest prayers and condolences to her family.” The radio station added: “Tomorrow, during Sunday Morning Praise with Larry Tinsley, we will be taking time out to pay tribute to this V-103 icon. Please tune in then call in and share your stories and experiences as we pay homage one of the best to ever hit the Atlanta airwaves.”

Rod Wave Recruits Lil Yachty & Lil Baby For “F*ck Fame”

Late last week, Rod Wave unveiled his anxiously awaited sixth studio album, Last Lap. The 23-track project boasts just a few guest appearances from Rylo Rodriguez, Lil Baby, and Lil Yachty. The latter two rappers join the Florida-born artist for the song “F*ck Fame,” which sees them delve into the trials and tribulations that can come along with fame.

The track is grounded by a mellow beat and features candid bars about fake friends, losing loved ones, and more. Overall, the song puts each artist’s talent on full display, and fans are here for the collab. “Ion expect a lil yachty and rod wave feature but ts hard,” one YouTube commenter notes. “Damn this combo fire,” another says.
