D.L. Hughley Calls Mo’Nique A “Liar” For “Club Shay Shay” Comments

D.L. Hughley has addressed Mo’Nique’s comments about him during her recent Club Shay Shay interview, calling her a “liar”. “Every time I see Mo’Nique these days, she’s doing some greasy ass video with her and her daddy complaining about something or working out. “She said I was very dismissive. Mo’Nique’s a liar. When Mo’Nique did call me, I heard her complaints. I listened to her, and I pulled the segment. So, if I had been as dismissive as she alleges I was, that segment would have aired. It didn’t because I respected her wishes. She’s a liar,” Hughley said on Instagram.

Mo’Nique had claimed that Hughley had been “dismissive” of her concerns after an unpleasant experience on his radio show. According to Mo’Nique, while Hughley had not been present, his co-hosts had made her play “Would You Rather” and had included several unsavory questions about her husband. Hughley also claimed in his response that Mo’Nique’s comments about the sexual assault his daughter suffered were also untrue. Mo’Nique is yet to respond to Hughley’s scathing rebuttal.

Mo’Nique Slams Skip Bayless

Meanwhile, Hughley was not the only person who caught flak during the interview. Mo’Nique told Shannon Sharpe that she had been unable to watch Undisputed for two days after Skip Bayless disrespected him. While she expressed her admiration that Sharpe did not resort to violence, she revealed that her husband had to talk her back around to enjoying the show. She revealed that her husband sat her down and reminded her Sharpe could have ended Bayless if he had wanted to.

Suge Knight, as usual, made some wild claims on his podcast Collect Call, and for its Monday episode (February 5), they had to do with an alleged romantic entanglement between Def Jam label boss Russell Simmons and his counterpart at Uptown Records, the late Andre Harrell. “Everybody know,” he remarked during the episode. “They might not wanna say it, [but] they know they was lovers. They participated in those types of things. Now, once again, a person has the right to be whatever they wanna be. But own it! These men in the industry don’t consider theyself gay. They consider themselves messing with women, but they really don’t like the women because they beat the s**t out of them.

“And they just believe that they’re having fun with each other,” Suge Knight continued. “So when you take Andre Harrell and Russell Simmons, Uptown, Def Jam -– freaky s**t.” Of course, many folks reacted wildly to this speculation, whereas others took more issue with it and believe he’s going through something. Someone in the latter camp was Suge’s former Death Row partner Snoop Dogg, given that the two have clashed a lot in the past. “Smh I’m praying for that brother that he finds peace,” the West Coast rapper commented under coverage of these claims.

Suge Knight Responds To Snoop Dogg

Clearly, Suge Knight did not take well at all to Snoop Dogg’s comments, as he responded angrily on Twitter on Wednesday (February 7). “Show the agreement or proof of payment and I’ll shut up!!! Bet you can’t!!! #Deathrow #snoopdogg,” he let out at first. “If you only could act like this when the camera rolling Snoop Dogg!!! #snoopdogg #underdogg #fakecrip,” the incarcerated record executive captioned what seems like a comedy skit on the social media platform. “You pray for me Snoop Dogg!!! Okay I’ll pray your wife stop going to Hawaii with other men!!!! #snoopdog #bosslady,” he wrote as one final diss against Tha Doggfather.

Adin Ross, a close friend and ally of Cenat, also called out Budden on his own stream. “Joe Budden, every time I see you or a clip of you, it’s just on some hating shit. I’ma be honest, bro, I don’t know what you do. I can’t even name one Joe Budden song, respectfully. You’re one of these old asses who hates. Their interaction was quick and respectful, with Queen Bey also greeting the Bronx native’s producer RIOTUSA. However, many fans noticed that she was much more excited when Coco Jones came into her sightline, extending a hug to her fellow R&B artist as Spice seemed to bask in the moment with Blue Ivy and Jay-Z beside her.

But if you see a longer version of the first clip below, you’ll see that this wasn’t really the case. Moreover, Coco Jones basically got in line after hugging Beyonce, and she went back to her conversation with Ice Spice. They spoke for a while longer, posed for a picture, and exchanged a hug, as well. As such, folks are likely exaggerating when they say that the RENAISSANCE artist cast Spice aside dismissively. Regardless, it was a big night for both rising titans, with a couple of nominations for both Beyhive members and a win for Coco in the Best R&B Performance category.

When he held his son in his arms, it was love at first sight for Odell Beckham Jr. Almost two years since that moment, he continues to dote on, and lovingly gush about his son. About a week after his kid’s birth, Odell Beckham took to Instagram to announce and celebrate the birth of his son. In addition to a heartwarming photo featuring mother, father, and child, Beckham Jr. wrote a long and beautiful caption. “THE biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life arrived here on earth!,” he wrote about Zydn. “A moment I will never forget and cherish forever,” the player continued. “Zydn was born n at that moment I knew my life changed for the better.” 

Speaking to PEOPLE in October 2022, Odell Beckham Jr. shared that his love for kids convinced him that he would become a father at some point. Actually experiencing being a father for the first time, he was filled with even more joy than he expected. “It was the biggest blessing of my life. I always knew that it would be, but it really hit different when I was actually holding him,” he said. The youngster will be turning 2 years old in just a few days. Throughout his time on Earth so far, he has been showered with love from both of his parents. While Beckham Jr. and Wood are no longer a romantic pair, they seem to be great co-parents to their son.
