Cassidy Speaks On Claims That He Ghostwrote Benzino’s Eminem Diss

When Benzino’s recent diss tracks against Eminem came out, these being “Rap Elvis” and “Vulturius,” some fans noted some possible similarities between their writing and that of other MCs. Namely, one Twitter user believes that he actually used a ghostwriter, this being Philly MC Cassidy. “Anyone with a good rap ear can hear the Same flow patterns, internal rhyme style & his flips on the same word is SOOO Cassidy,” they expressed on the social media platform. “Cass either ghostwrote or Benzino just bit his whole style. Eminem Won.” Now, we have a new response to account for from this alleged ghostwriter.

Furthermore, Cassidy spoke on the matter in a new song snippet he shared to his Instagram account on Monday (March 25). “I ain’t ghostwrite Benzino diss, that’s bogus / In the past, I ghostwrote for the writer that ghostwrote it,” he spits on the cut. What’s more is that this adds to the former Source magazine co-owner’s own denials of using ghostwriters. “I don’t wanna hear that ghostwriter s**t,” he remarked on IG Live earlier this year. “This is hip-hop, bro. I don’t wanna hear that ghostwriter s**t. Shut the f**k up, bro. You mad because I’m spitting, I wrote that s**t.” But the 58-year-old admitted to getting help for writing, so maybe this is enough of a nail in the coffin.

Cassidy Denies Ghostwriting Benzino’s Eminem Disses In New Song Snippet: Listen

I ate his s**t up,” Benzino claimed during this live session. “I cooked him. Back in the day, he cooked me. But what you Stans is not gonna do, what you teens is not gonna try to do is come here and be like I didn’t affect him. Stop it. Because that shows that y’all ain’t real hip-hop fans. That shows that y’all are biased and probably halfway racist.

“If it’s dope s**t, give it up,” he concluded. “Just like my people give it up to him. Stop being racist, white people. If it’s dope and I rip, then say it. A lot of you guys already are. Salute to the stans that are in my DM saying, ‘Listen ‘Zino, I’m an Em fan but that song is dope.’” For more news and the latest updates on Cassidy, Benzino, and Eminem, keep checking in with HNHH.

Diddy Gave Conway The Machine’s Song To His Son King Combs Instead, Hitmaka Claims

During a Shade 45 interview with Superstar Jay, Hitmaka made some interesting claims about Diddy amid his various sexual assault lawsuits and accusations. However, this new set of claims has nothing to do with his alleged crimes, but rather his alleged nepotism. The producer accused Sean Combs of denying artists the right to sample his material, but then giving it to his son, rapper King Combs, instead. Specifically, the beatmaker formerly known as Yung Berg used the example of his song “Naughty,” which was produced for Boosie Badazz but, after Puff’s interference, ended up going to King’s catalog instead.

“No disrespect to Christian [Combs] because we got a bunch of other records that went cr*zy too [but] I love Boosie’s version more,” Hitmaka shared. “Puff called Craig Kallman [CEO of Atlantic Records] and was like, ‘No, I need that record.’ And Craig calls me like, ‘What did you do to Diddy?!’” To be clear, there’s nothing inherently wrong with choosing who can have your sample and for what purposes, but the relationship with King Combs makes it harder to swallow.

Diddy’s Sample Preferences: Compare Conway & King Combs’ Tracks Below

Regardless, then Superstar Jay pointed to an unreleased Conway The Machine track called “Can’t You Be.” It samples Total and Biggie’s hit “Can’t You See” from 1995, and Hitmaka explained how the Griselda (and Drumwork) boss got the short end of the stick. “Puff will do that, though…” he claimed. “The Conway situation, I ended sampling a Diddy song and he wouldn’t clear the record for us. He wouldn’t clear the record for nobody except his son. That’s why Christian Combs got that record too.” Previously, the hitmaker had called the Bad Boy mogul out for trying to sabotage him while he worked on The Love Album: Off The Grid.

“Puff hit me, he like, ‘Yo, I’m doing an R&B album, I need you, you the guy. It’s gonna be London on Da Track, you and me and I think we should do everything together. Send me some joints,’” he began. “I send him a 10 clip, cr*zy s**t. He hit me back like, ‘I want that [Yung] Berg s**t, stop trying to be me. It sound like you trying to do what I do, n***a. Send me some different s**t.’ So I didn’t send him nothing. I was like, ‘F**k it.’ Next thing I know, the n***a deciphered my records and reached out to everybody I collaborated with and dissected me from the situation.” For more news on Hitmaka, Diddy, Conway The Machine, and King Combs, check back in with HNHH.

Usher Rejected “Yeah!” Until L.A. Reid Threatened Him, Rico Love Claims

Usher, like the true soulful superstar he is, doesn’t think that R&B is dead, but if he had gone with his gut back around 2003, he might not have been the king of the genre to make that belief have weight in the first place. Moreover, according to TMZ, producer Rico Love recently went to Home Grown Radio to talk about his big break writing for Usher’s 2004 album Confessions. In addition, he also gave an interesting claim about the backstory behind the smash hit “Yeah!” While it’s not a traditional R&B cut, it’s still one of the Dallas native’s biggest hits, one that Love claims he didn’t want to record at first.

Apparently, Rico Love was there when Usher first heard the demo for “Yeah!,” which Sean Garrett wrote. Initially, he did not like the song at all, and he rejected any advances to record the track for his then-upcoming 2004 project. The producer thought that it was a little cringe, and so did the Super Bowl’s upcoming halftime show performer. Not only that, but Love even said that the opening lines “Up in the club with my homies/ Tryin’ to get a little V.I./ Keep it down on the low-key” made him burst into laughter.

Rico Love Recalls L.A. Reid Allegedly Pressuring Usher To Put Out “Yeah!”: Watch

However, L.A. Reid had something else to say about “Yeah!” as a then-music executive and the President of Arista Records at the time. He thought the record sounded like true-blue hit, and staunchly suggested that Usher release it as the first single instead of “Burn.” Allegedly, as Rico Love recalled, he fought back against these pressures until Reid simply said “Do the f***ing song!” and hung up on him. In addition, he apparently also left the SKIMS collaborator no choice but to put the song out, through other means that weren’t just a phone call.

Meanwhile, we’re sure that he will be able to see the real love that people have for “Yeah!” during his upcoming tour. The 45-year-old surely has different thoughts on the track these days, now that hindsight is 20/20. It would be interesting to hear him respond to this claim, and look back on the choices he made that propelled him into music’s upper echelon. With that in mind, stay posted on HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Usher.

Snoop Dogg & Suge Knight Clash Over Affair Claims About Russell Simmons

Suge Knight, as usual, made some wild claims on his podcast Collect Call, and for its Monday episode (February 5), they had to do with an alleged romantic entanglement between Def Jam label boss Russell Simmons and his counterpart at Uptown Records, the late Andre Harrell. “Everybody know,” he remarked during the episode. “They might not wanna say it, [but] they know they was lovers. They participated in those types of things. Now, once again, a person has the right to be whatever they wanna be. But own it! These men in the industry don’t consider theyself gay. They consider themselves messing with women, but they really don’t like the women because they beat the s**t out of them.

“And they just believe that they’re having fun with each other,” Suge Knight continued. “So when you take Andre Harrell and Russell Simmons, Uptown, Def Jam -– freaky s**t.” Of course, many folks reacted wildly to this speculation, whereas others took more issue with it and believe he’s going through something. Someone in the latter camp was Suge’s former Death Row partner Snoop Dogg, given that the two have clashed a lot in the past. “Smh I’m praying for that brother that he finds peace,” the West Coast rapper commented under coverage of these claims.

Suge Knight Responds To Snoop Dogg

Clearly, Suge Knight did not take well at all to Snoop Dogg’s comments, as he responded angrily on Twitter on Wednesday (February 7). “Show the agreement or proof of payment and I’ll shut up!!! Bet you can’t!!! #Deathrow #snoopdogg,” he let out at first. “If you only could act like this when the camera rolling Snoop Dogg!!! #snoopdogg #underdogg #fakecrip,” the incarcerated record executive captioned what seems like a comedy skit on the social media platform. “You pray for me Snoop Dogg!!! Okay I’ll pray your wife stop going to Hawaii with other men!!!! #snoopdog #bosslady,” he wrote as one final diss against Tha Doggfather.

More Suge Tweets

Meanwhile, we can’t imagine that this exchange will provoke any sort of reconciliation between them. Both of them owned Death Row Records at different eras in their career, and what love they had for each other seems to have gone away for the most part. Hopefully someone else can clarify these stories for us, and Suge in particular can understand why Snoop is concerned for them. On that note, stick around on HNHH for more news and updates on Snoop Dogg and Suge Knight.

DJ Akademiks Slams 6ix9ine’s Ex For Claiming He Slept With The Rapper

6ix9ine’s ex Jade broke the Internet on Sunday (December 17) when she claimed that he and DJ Akademiks have been “f***ing for a very long time.” Of course, social media reacted to this quite wildly, especially considering that both personalities get their fair share of sometimes due, sometimes undue hate online. On top of that, folks couldn’t wait to see how either would respond to this, although we could’ve definitely guessed what they’d say. To prove that, the streamer and commentator recently hopped on his livestream to respond to Jade’s claims. Throughout, he let out some very disparaging remarks against her own alleged sex life.

“So first and foremost, if you’re looking for the obvious, me and 6ix9ine has never ever been anything but friends like any other two dudes,” DJ Akademiks began. “We’re not gay. I’m not gay. Like, it actually bothers me. These are the things that bother me the most. The way to get under Ak’s skin is mention some gay s**t and put it on his name. Or get a gay n***a to go at Ak! We done seen the Saucy s**t.

DJ Akademiks Responds To 6ix9ine Rumors: Watch

“Listen, I gave y’all the chance to come tell me why,” DJ Akademiks continued. “Whatever y’all got going on, y’all should leave Big Ak out of it. The n***a moved on and left your a** in the dust! You was a hired prost*tute, you was an escort, okay? Don’t think too much about it. The bag’s getting low now, don’t be mad at me! This is what all y’all girls do. Y’all girls is really like an Airbnb, that’s what y’all p***y is. You get a rich n***a and hopefully he can just move in and just permanently f**k you all day long and give you gifts. Obviously, I’m telling you, this is fake. This is a woman who clearly must either be trying to do one of two things.

“She’s been recently accused after Cardi B viciously beat her a** and beat her sister’s a** in the club and they got banned from all New York clubs,” he concluded. “That’s a fact. Cardi B got sued, that’s a fact. Did she say this to spite me because I mentioned that? Now, with all of that being said, you was my man’s girl, so I let it fly! I don’t care! All these b***hes in the game right here, they’re prost*tutes. All of them, okay? Now, most of them– actually, all of them pretty much just high-class escorts. They all got a price. I know 6ix9ine gotta feel stup*d. She was a perennial side chick! Offset had her, A Boogie was f***ing her. Every n***a done piped the shawty out! I’m glad we talking, ’cause I love to talk.” For more on DJ Akademiks and 6ix9ine, come back to HNHH.

Tasha K Clarifies Cardi B Claims, Asks Her To Reconsider Her Approach

Cardi B isn’t letting up in her legal battle against Tasha K one bit, which has driven the blogger to a place of desperation and ridicule. Moreover, she recently took to Twitter to clarify some claims that people think she made about the Bronx MC. Specifically, these relate to some aspects of the defamation lawsuit that Bardi won against Tasha. In addition, she also tried to reason with her and explain that she simply doesn’t have the money to pay her debts, and that she’s working with the court to do so as promptly and effectively as possible.

Regardless, it seems like Tasha K’s efforts have been to little avail, as Cardi B continues her crusade against her. “You want me out my home, broke, & my kids to not attend college!” Tasha tweeted on Thursday (September 14). “Your lawyers only continue to bill you 100k plus a week, looking for money we don’t have! But I can get it. Over time. Your lawyers have collected the 4 million that’s owed to you by simply making you pay for it by keeping you in litigation due to your lack of education.”

Furthermore, the social media star pointed attention to the fact that this fight in court only drains money from their pockets and gives it all to the lawyers. Apparently, the value that Tasha K wants to instill in the 30-year-old the most is patience. Also, she took issue with how this whole dilemma is something that Cardi B actively seeks throughout her career. It’s been a big part of her media and blog presence, all at the expense of the blogger, according to her. Still, Tasha ended her message with another apology to the rapper.

“Sincerely I apologize for any harm caused to you and your family!” she wrote. “Me & the courts are attempting to work out a payment plan, but if you want the FULL amount paid in cash. Call a production company to film all of this and you take the money made from it and put this behind us! Cause nothing will stop me from doing what I love & hopefully nothing will stop you as well!” For more news and the latest updates on Cardi B and Tasha K, log back into HNHH.

Sauce Walka Responds To Charleston White’s Macing Claims

Charleston White recently established himself as more of a threatening media personality than most. Moreover, after a video of him pepper spraying his opponent at a boxing event went viral, he doubled down on these antics. For example, he alleged that he also maced fellow Texas native Sauce Walka and his Sauce Factory crew. However, while this could’ve made for some heated exchanges and feuds, it seems like the Houston rapper is taking it in stride. Furthermore, he was all smiles and laughs when talking about these allegations, clowning White in the process.

“Aye, Phoenix, I love y’all, man,” Sauce Walka began his video message. “We had this incredible weekend, incredible night last night. The fight was great, remember the knockout. We gon’ speak on Charleston White real quick. I’ma clear the air, tell y’all the real. First and foremost, y’all better leave that n***a Charleston White alone, man. Stop f***ing with that man Batman, stop f***ing with The Joker. That n***a Batman and The Joker put together. That’s the baddest man, but I like him.

Sauce Walka Addresses Charleston White

“You gotta love Charleston, and I’ma say this, too,” Sauce Walka continued. “For every street n***a, every gangster in the world, bro. If you ever see Charleston White and you actually get into it with this man, bro, you are a peon, bro. You are not no real gangster if you gettin’ into it with a n***a like this. But what I will tell y’all is this. I did come into the building with some of my good friends from California. They was on some peon a** s**t, acting like they friends with Nipsey Hussle and that n***a from Rollin’ 60s. No, then, and Charleston sprayed they a** down, and that’s what they get.”

Meanwhile, we’ll see if the YouTuber gets into more violent altercations in the future. It seems likely, since another clip of him attacking an opponent with a “pig poker” made some rounds online. Through it all, though, it seems like Walka is just trying to enjoy himself amid all the chaos. For more news and the latest updates on Sauce Walka and Charleston White, stay posted on HNHH.

Moneybagg Yo Responds To Claims He Throws Fake Money At Shows

Moneybagg Yo shows have been pretty rowdy and buzzed-about these days, whether for its thirsty fans or claims of counterfeit cash. Moreover, rumors recently surfaced online that the Memphis MC threw out fake dollar bills during a recent appearance and performance at a club. It’s not exactly unheard of; after all, some artists want all of the show but don’t actually want to lighten their pockets in the slightest. Still, it seems like he treats accusations that he’s not real enough the same no matter what the topic area is. Furthermore, the Hard To Love rapper recently addressed this speculation on his Instagram Story- but he could’ve phrased it in a clearer way.

“Y’all just wanna say my name for anything I see,” Moneybagg Yo wrote on the social media platform. “I might throw ones but ion care how much money I got I’m not throwing out real or fake bunnies. Wrong Man s**t big Capp !!” Still, the question remains: are they real or fake, and why would you mention that you wouldn’t throw either? Regardless, it seems like Bagg only throws ones no matter what they are, and will always retort attacks on his authenticity.

Unfortunately, no matter what kind of cash is getting thrown around at these shows, they don’t always end well. For example, fire marshals recently shut down one of his performances, reportedly due to an overcrowded attendance. The Larger Than Life tour, supported by artists like Finesse2tymes and Sexyy Red, has had its fair share of hiccups outside of this. In fact, some shows were canceled due to low ticket sales, so on either side of the seat-filling spectrum, there have been complications.

Meanwhile, it still seems like everyone involved is having a great time at these live events. As such, hopefully the authenticity of the cash that they throw for show to begin with isn’t such a big issue in the future. It must disappoint you to think you got some extra cash, but if the show works, you might just get inspiration to get out there and make it yourself. With that in mind, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Moneybagg Yo.

Tyrese Sues Home Depot Over Racial Discrimination Claims Following Viral Incident

Tyrese recently had an unfortunate and nasty interaction at a Home Depot that now resulted in a million-dollar lawsuit. Moreover, the actor and signer claimed that various company employees showed him and his associates “outrageous discriminatory mistreatment and consumer racial profiling first-hand.” These partners are Eric Mora and Manuel Hernandez, Furthermore, the Fast and Furious star claimed that they tried to check out at a store with his credit card while he waited in the car. The suit reads: “The cashier gave no reasonable explanation other than repeating ‘store policy’ and demanded to see a form of identification. It was only after significant heated discussion with the cashier that Gibson was finally able to complete the transaction.”

Not only that, but Tyrese even uploaded various videos of this to his Instagram page. One was back in February and shows him arguing with the cashier on FaceTime. Another video emerged on Friday (August 11) and depicts the in-person confrontation with several workers. Amid his other legal battles, there are actually conflicting reports when it comes to this case. Tyrese himself claimed that the lawsuit is for a staggering $450 million, whereas every other outlet’s report, such as Entertainment Weekly, indicates that it’s for $1 million.

Tyrese’s Initial Accusatory Post

In addition, the 44-year-old also seeks damages, attorney’s fees, and a judgement that shows the company violated the Unruh Civil Rights Act of California. After this news broke, Home Depot issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly defending “diversity and respect for all people” as one of its principal ethical codes. “We do not tolerate discrimination in any form,” the statement read. “We value Mr. Gibson as a customer. In the months since this happened, we’ve reached out to him and his attorneys several times to try to resolve his concerns. We will continue to do so.”

Another View Of The Altercation

Meanwhile, this is occurring as the Los Angeles entertainer fights an ugly divorce process. Given all the case’s moving parts, it’s unclear whether Home Depot will be able to settle this in court. Still, it seems like he’s set on fighting this tooth and nail until further notice. With that in mind, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Tyrese.

Tasha K & Wack 100 Go Back & Forth On Social Media In Bizarre Beef

It seems like the newest pop culture beef of note is blogger Tasha K and industry executive Wack 100, who manages Blueface and The Game. Moreover, believe it or not, their feud initiated with Tasha’s alleged claims about R. Kelly that the singer believes was part of what led to his conviction. Wack actually interviewed Kelly about this and called her a police informant after the disgraced R&B star accused her of illegally getting access to his emails, prison logs, and other incriminating information. Of course, Tasha clapped back with force, bringing up salacious claims about Wack’s side piece, questionable alleged tax returns, and his wife’s work as a probation officer.

“How did you go from marrying a b***h that ensured motherf***ers turned in they piss, got in before curfew, met all the terms and conditions of they motherf***ing probation,” Tasha K retorted at Wack 100. “Married the b***h. Then you’ll turn around, and now you mad at the very thing that I’m doing on behalf of black women. You married a black woman in full support of what she’s doing to n***as out here.

Tasha K Goes Off On Wack 100 After His Accusations Of Being A Special Agent

“These are tax returns because he went from being a truck driver, then all of a sudden he’s managing The Game and managing Ray J and managing Blueface,” she said of his alleged income documents. Unsurprisingly, Wack 100 denied all these claims about him and his wife, letting her know they don’t make him afraid. However, Tasha K accused the manager of online attacks and harassment and even warned him of his movement. “You’re leaving a digital footprint like everything that you posting right now in your page,” she expressed. “It’s a digital footprint that’s the stupidest s**t that I’ve ever seen.”

Meanwhile, this is far from the first feud that either of them have been involved in. In fact, considering that the R. Kelly comments came a while ago, it’s actually surprising that it took this long. Regardless, we’re sure that this isn’t the end of this saga, although it’s hard to say exactly how far it will go or how relevant it will be. Still, check out other clips in the via link below and come back to HNHH for the latest news on Tasha K and Wack 100.
