Blueface Calls Chrisean Rock His “Wife” While She Refers To Him As “Daddy” On Jail Call, Karlissa Saffold Dumbfounded

It has been about almost two months since Blueface’s most recent arrest. Multiple reports said that it was a byproduct of Jaidyn Alexis and Chrisean Rock causing a stir. Them not being able to come forward about the things they did got their man put in jail. Those were the paraphrased words of the California rapper’s mother, Karlissa Saffold. She has always had the staunch opinion that none of them deserve to be with her son. Her stance continues to grow stronger, after Blueface’s recent jail call.

In the audio clips below, Blueface requests that a close friend of his to call Chrisean Rock. However, he does not refer to her as that. He asks to speak to his “wife.” In the ensuing audio Rock continuously addresses him as “daddy” throughout Blueface’s jail call and how much she was waiting for his phone call. This eventually got around quick enough for Karlissa to react with another “I told you so” tone.

In the final clip, she calls out her son for calling her “wife” when he “won’t even the let the baby call you daddy.” Additionally, Karlissa says that Blueface should take ownership of the child and then “maybe we will believe some of this s***.” In the end, she says that is just “another promotion for the circus” and that it is “a hot f*****g mess.” Fans were in agreeance but still have trepidations about how many times she has been right. Meek Mill Trends As Fans Theorize He’s Named In Diddy Lawsuit

Meek Mill has found himself being dragged into the drama surrounding Diddy and the latest lawsuit against him. In a portion of the filing Rodney Jones submitted to accuse Diddy of sexual assault, he mentions the Bad Boy mogul forcing him to watch a video of Stevie J engaging in sex with another man. Additionally, Jones notes that Diddy attempted to coerce him into sex by mentioning other artists he’s slept with.

While the names are redacted, the footnotes describe the rapper as hailing from Philadelphia and having previously dated Nicki Minaj. They also say another singer performed at the Super Bowl and hosted a successful Las Vegas residency.

Both Diddy and Stevie J have denied the allegations stemming from the lawsuit. In a statement for TMZ, Diddy’s attorney, Shawn Holley, explained: “Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday. His reckless name-dropping about events that are pure fiction and simply did not happen is nothing more than a transparent attempt to garner headlines. We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

Meek Mill & Usher’s Names Redacted In Diddy Lawsuit, Akademiks Says

It appears that the latest lawsuit filed against Diddy has opened the floodgates to even more bombshell allegations. Following the lawsuit involving producer Lil Rod, who accused Diddy of sexual misconduct, speculation sparked surrounding two redacted names in the lawsuit. However, Akademiks recently delved into the 70+ page lawsuit against Diddy where he discovered the allegation that “Mr. Combs informed Mr. Jones that he engaged in sexual intercourse with rapper⁵(REDACTED), R&B Singer⁶(REDACTED), and Stevie J.”

It was initially unclear who these two individuals were until Akademiks scrolled to the bottom of the page. The footnotes strongly suggested the possibility of two superstar celebrities: Meek Mill and Usher. As Akademiks scrolled through the document, he observed that the footnotes indicated rapper ⁵stated, “He is a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.” Meanwhile, just beneath it was the footnote for R&B Singer⁶. This read, “He performed at the Super Bowl and had a successful Vegas Residency.” Although it can’t be confirmed, many began connecting the dots that Meek Mill and Usher are attached to the latest lawsuit filed against Diddy.

Akademiks Believes Meek Mill Needs To Clear His Name

Although Meek and Akademiks have had their issues in the past, the two have since patched things up. However, Akademiks believes that Meek Mill needs to respond to these allegations surrounding his relationship with Diddy. In fact, Ak suggested Meek should crash out over these allegations entirely. “Yo Meek, we were playing around with the Michael Rubin ish. You be tweeting about everything on planet Earth. If you don’t get on a Twitter rant saying you’re about to get Lil Rod killed, you’re about to shoot up his block, blow his momma’s house up – this n***a was saying you and Diddy was fornicating,” Ak stated.

However, all of this should be taken with a grain of salt. Consider the fact that Stevie J was also named in the lawsuit. He and his attorneys issued a statement denying that there’s any truth to Lil Rod’s claims. Moreover, he was later cleared by a male adult performer who claimed that he was photographed engaging in sexual acts with another man and not the Bad Boy producer in an image submitted as part of the lawsuit. Thus far, Meek Mill hasn’t directly addressed the allegations. However, he’s cleared his Instagram page of any photos, though there’s no confirmation whether it’s connected to Diddy’s lawsuit.

Max Strus stunned the NBA on Tuesday night as he hit a half-court buzzer-beater to lead the Cavaliers past the Mavericks. With 2.1 seconds remaining, Strus heaved a shot from 59 feet, barely seeing his shot go in as he was tackled by his teammates. Strus’ shot is the second-longest shot of the three-point era, sitting behind Devonte’ Graham’s 2021 61-footer. However, Strus himself has admitted that this isn’t even the longest shot of his career. “Yeah, at my Division II school, I made a three-quarter-court shot to win the game,” Strus said.

Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign Sued by Donna Summer Estate for Copyright Infringement

Another day, another lawsuit for Kanye West. Ye and his Vultures partner, Ty Dolla $ign, are being sued by the Donna Summer estate for using the icon’s “I Feel Love” in the creation of “Good (Don’t Die).”

The suit is led by Summer’s husband, Bruce Sandano, stating the interpolation was not approved due to Ye’s “controversial history.”

Ye submitted a request for clearance, but it was denied on Feb. 3, 2024, in both written and phone communications. The song was submitted for clearance at Universal Music Enterprises as an alternative but was once again denied.

The estate is now seeking damages of $150,000 for each infringement.

Earlier this week, after Adidas announced a new stock drop of Yeezy sneakers at the end of the month, Kanye hit the net with a message stating he was sued.

“Not only are they putting out fake colorways that are not approved, they are suing me for $250 million,” Ye said. “And they also not paying me for these shoes they are putting out that has my name on it.

“They are using contract clauses and 50 years of business experience to rape an artist – one of y’all favorite artists – right in front of y’all in broad daylight.”

Atlanta rap duo EarthGang have carved out a sonically unique niche for themselves within the rap genre, which elevates them to the status of underground legends. With nearly 3.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, the duo have solidified their catalogue with complex genre-blending bangers, making them one of the most fascinating rap acts currently working. The pair, who are signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville label alongside frequent collaborators such as JID, Bas, and Ari Lennox, have been releasing a series of EPs under the banner EarthGang vs. The Algorithm, with their latest effort Robophobia showcasing the encroaching influences of artificial intelligence on art and music. Robophobia offers yet another sonic curveball for fans of the eccentric group, with funk and trap influences blending the group’s sound into a cornucopia of high-intensity jams.

The EP Blends Jazz And Funk Soul Influences

EarthGang’s Robophobia lends itself to a number of fascinating sounds. This is evident right from the beginning, as the first song “Blacklight” offers a smooth funk tune which entices and sucks listeners into the immersive world of the growing EarthGang Vs. The Algorithm narrative. “Blacklight” served as the lead single for the tape, initially released in November 2023. Although already available to the public, the song takes on a new significance when considered within the broader context of Robophobia, highlighting human error and imperfection in an era increasingly dominated by digital creation and auto-tuned vocal passages.

The following track, “Put In Work” opens with a few jazzy piano thrusts before launching into a thumping banger with alternative vocalist Tommy Newport featured on the hook. The track possesses a versatile quality, suitable for both a lively nightclub atmosphere and a relaxed smoke session at home. However, its infectious basslines and pulsating percussion may compel you to involuntarily leap from your seat and bust out a few dance moves.

The Duo Frequently Switch Roles In Their Music

While both Olu and WowGr8 are recognized for their versatility in music, Olu has developed a reputation for leading the melodic and note-carrying aspects of most EarthGang tracks, while WowGr8 often employs lyrical double entendres that appeal to die-hard hip-hop enthusiasts. This dynamic is evident on some Robophobia tracks, such as “Put In Work,” but shifts on songs like “Osmosis,” where WowGr8’s heavenly vocal arrangements take center stage while Olu raps like the rent is due.

As the project’s closing track, “Perfect Fantasy” offers powerful sample-heavy production, with a concluding through-line about celebrating life’s blessings. The track also showcases the best guest feature on the effort, with a lively performance from West Coast legend Snoop Dogg. The 52-year-old MC has delivered a few underwhelming features in recent years, though the “Murder Was The Case” rapper knew to bring his A-game when working with one of the most talented and creative duos active today.

Conclusion

Due to the nature of EarthGang’s ever-changing sound and style, Robophobia has as much potential to be your favorite project from the duo as it does to be your least favorite. Fans of the group will surely appreciate the bold new direction the EP takes, though some more lyrically inclined listeners may prefer EarthGang’s earlier work. At the end of the day, the EP accomplishes its stated goals, to make contemplative genre-blending music which furthers the narrative of EarthGang vs. the Algorithm, and truly makes the listener think about the state of art and music in a digital landscape.
