Cardi B LAPD Drama Has Femcee’s Team Speaking Out: “There Is No Truth To This Story”

With a platform as large as the one Cardi B has amassed for herself comes a lot of responsibility. For the most part, the New Yorker chooses to use it wisely, though that’s not always the case. Earlier this week she stirred up conversation after going Live and talking about wanting to take legal action against the Los Angeles Police Department. “They had me outside for like three hours,” Cardi alleged.

“They had me getting butt-naked outside. S**t was [wild]. It was deada** a movie. I’m about to sue the LAP. I told them like, ‘Yo, I’m Cardi B. Do I look like I gotta sell some s**t? Like why would I do that? I would never pull no s**t like that,’” the Invasion of Privacy artist said. Elsewhere in her rant, the Hustlers actress claimed that White cops didn’t recognize her while conducting their search. “They was really tough on me and everything,” she vented.

Cardi B’s Debunked LAPD Allegations

They said somebody gave them a clue. I really feel like it was one of my opps and s**t, like they really trying to ruin my life. Like y’all don’t even f**king know. I been going through a lot lately.” Cardi revealed to her followers. After the LAPD denied the incident, on Wednesday (March 27), her team spoke out to clarify some online discourse. “This IG Live was taken out of context and there is no truth to this story,” reps for the former stripper told Billboard in a statement. “Apologies for any confusion,” they added.

Not everyone is impressed with Cardi B’s tall tale about her “run-in” with authorities this week, but one area where the mother of two rarely disappoints is fashion. She and her talented stylist Kollin Carter are the latest famous faces on The Hollywood Reporter‘s cover, taking us back in time through some of their best moments together. “Good Times” Netflix Animated Series: What We Know

The much-anticipated animated reboot of the classic Norman Lear sitcom Good Times will hit Netflix on April 12. It promises a blend of nostalgia, modernity, and social commentary. Spearheaded by showrunner and executive producer Ranada Shepard, the series aims to pay homage to its iconic predecessor. At the same time, it hopes to address contemporary issues through the lens of the Evans family in Chicago’s South Side.

The series promises a fresh take on the iconic Evans family, bringing new humor and social commentary to the screen. With an ensemble cast featuring J.B. Smoove (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live), Marsai Martin (Black-Ish), Gerald “Slink” Johnson (Black Jesus, GTA V), and Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola (Ironheart), fans are eager to see what this modern adaptation has in store. Here’s what we know about the revival.

A Modern Twist On A Classic

Premiering in 1974, Good Times focused on the Evans family, residing in a Chicago housing project, navigating the challenges of poverty and systemic racism with humor and resilience. Led by Esther Rolle and John Amos as Florida and James Evans, the cast also included Jimmie Walker as JJ Evans, Ja’net Dubois as Willona Woods, and Bern Nadette Stanis as Thelma Evans. The show addressed pressing social issues while delivering unforgettable laughs.

The animated series follows the latest generation of the Evans family as they navigate life in one of Chicago’s last remaining housing projects. Led by cab driver Reggie (played by J.B. Smoove) and his ever-aspirational wife Beverly (portrayed by Yvette Nicole Brown), the family faces the challenges of urban life head-on. Joining them are their teenage artist son Junior (Jay Pharoah), activist daughter Grey (Marsai Martin), and the youngest member, drug-dealing infant son Dalvin (Gerald “Slink” Johnson).

Familiar Themes In A New Medium

Opting for animation over live-action, Shepard emphasizes the creative freedom it affords. Departing from the constraints of reality, the animated format allows for imaginative storytelling, including surreal sequences like interactions with a cartoonish rendition of Elon Musk. Moreover, it facilitates a return to the iconic apartment 17C, serving as a symbolic anchor for the enduring legacy of the Evans family.

Like its predecessor, the animated Good Times series promises to tackle relevant social issues with wit and insight. Moreover, each episode delves into a thematic exploration, ranging from elections and poverty to women’s empowerment and technology. Through the lens of the Evans family, the series offers a universal perspective, blending humor with insightful commentary overall. As the logline suggests, “the more things change, the more they stay the same,” highlighting the enduring relevance of the Evans family’s story. “… and keeping your head above water in a system with its knee on your neck is as challenging as ever. The only thing tougher than life is love, but in this family, there’s more than enough to go around,” it continues.

Behind The Scenes

The original Good Times, created by Mike Evans and Eric Montes and executive-produced by Norman Lear, broke ground in the 1970s as television’s first Black two-parent family sitcom. However, the animated reboot, backed by Norman Lear’s Act III Productions, Steph Curry’s Unanimous Media (who are reportedly behind an upcoming Mac Dre documentary), Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door, and Sony Pictures Television, serves as a spiritual sequel, focusing on the fourth generation of the Evans family. Furthermore, Lear’s involvement, including a cameo appearance in the eighth episode, underscores his lasting influence on the series. Ranada Shepard serves as executive producer and showrunner, ensuring that the series stays true to its roots while offering something new to audiences.

A Star-Studded Cast

The casting of Good Times reflects a commitment to both talent and diversity. J.B. Smoove and Yvette Nicole Brown lead the pack as Reggie and Beverly Evans, while Jay Pharoah and Marsai Martin lend their voices to the younger generation. Additionally, Slink Johnson and Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola round out the cast, bringing their own flair to the vibrant characters.

Conclusion

Netflix subscribers won’t have to wait long to watch the entire season of Good Times. All 10 episodes will be available for streaming on April 12, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the world of the Evans family at their own pace. Whether it’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane or a fresh take on a beloved classic, the animated series promises to deliver laughs and poignant moments alike.

As the premiere date approaches, anticipation for Good Times continues to build. With its talented cast, relevant themes, and creative team behind the scenes, the animated series is poised to make a splash on Netflix. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the original sitcom or discovering the Evans family for the first time, Good Times offers something for everyone. So mark your calendars and get ready to join Reggie, Beverly, and the rest of the gang for a new chapter in their comedic journey.

Future & Metro Boomin Deliver A Masterclass On “GTA”

Future and Metro Boomin have taken the hip-hop world by storm with their incredible new album We Don’t Trust You. Overall, this album is getting a whole lot of love thanks to the track “Like That” with Kendrick Lamar. By now, everyone knows that this song is directed at none other than Drake. Fans are waiting patiently for a response, however, it has yet to arrive. Meanwhile, Future and Metro are readying another album that will drop on April 12th.

In the meantime, fans have been digging into this new project and finding their favorite sons. One track that needs to be considered is “GTA.” This is your typical lowkey banger from Future and Metro. The production is fantastic and it is what you would hope for from Metro. He comes through with some spine-chilling melodies that Future is able to float over. It’s a menacing song from start to finish, and it matches the energy of the rest of the record.

The next album between these two is supposedly going to have an R&B focus to it. However, there is no confirmation that this is the case. Hopefully, it will be able to deliver on the same level as We Don’t Trust You. As for whether or not this new album will take shots at Drake, that still remains to be seen right now.

50 Cent Ready To Pay “Top Dollar” For Alleged Diddy Tapes

50 Cent has consistently been the biggest troll out there when it comes to Diddy and his current scandal. Overall, Fif is someone who is constantly trying to get under people’s skin. If he has an issue with you, he will make social media posts about you for years. For instance, he hasn’t stopped going after the likes of Young Buck and Ja Rule. As for Diddy, he has been reveling in the allegations levied the music mogul. Ever since the raids at Diddy’s home on Monday, Fif has been very much active on social media, and he has stayed ready with the memes.

However, one of the latest developments in the Diddy scandal involves him in a roundabout way. As we reportedly, Daphne Joy, Fif’s ex, was named as one of Diddy’s alleged sex workers. This subsequently led to a response from 50 Cent, who couldn’t help but make another joke. Now, Fif is taking aim at the alleged video evidence that exists of Diddy’s parties. These parties were allegedly attended by big-name celebrities and politicians. There is suspicion that these are the videos the feds were looking for on Monday.

50 Cent Wants The Scoop

In a post on his Instagram account, Fif revealed that he wants to have possession of these tapes. “I’ll pay top dollar for them,” he said matter-of-factly. Overall, it is pretty doubtful that these videos are actually for sale. After all, the alleged videos would ultimately be evidence for a federal case. The concept of Fif getting a hold of them sounds pretty far-fetched. Regardless, this is a way for him to troll, so you can be sure he’s not going to pass it up.

Let us know what you think about 50 Cent and his constant attempts at trolling Diddy, in the comments section down below. Do you think that Diddy is eventually going to respond? Do you believe 50 has a documentary on the way? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Megan Fox Confirms Engagement With Machine Gun Kelly Is Called Off

machinegunkelly

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox broke the internet when the lovebirds revealed they were officially a couple. Fans quickly showed their support, as it seemed their love kept growing stronger as time went on.

Most recently, Megan went on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast to reveal that her engagement with the Ohio recording artist is called off — but she still calls him her “twin soul.”

Megan states, “I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption. As of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what.”

The couple originally got engaged in January 2022, but things have since gone up and down within their relationship.

Megan adds, “I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”

MGK and Megan began dating in June of 2020, initially sparking dating rumors as Megan made a standout appearance in the MGK’s “Bloody Valentine” music video. US Weekly recently reported that the two are also no longer living together.

Things are about to get real, as we’re just days away from the March 29 release date of Beyoncé’s new album, Cowboy Carter. In the lead-up, fans have been clamoring for details about the project, and today (March 27), Beyoncé revealed some big ones by unveiling the tracklist.

The tracklist, as presented on Beyoncé’s Instagram post sharing it, doesn’t confirm or deny the rumors of Travis Scott and Lady Gaga being featured on the album. However, there does appear to be a track called “Dolly P,” followed by a track titled “Jolene,” presumably a cover of Dolly Parton’s classic. Again, the post’s formatting doesn’t make it clear, but it looks like there’s either a song called “Smoke Hour Willie Nelson” or a song called “Smoke Hour” featuring Nelson, with the latter option seeming more likely.

(Update: The full tracklist with features was revealed ahead of the album’s North American release, when it became available in international markets like New Zealand and Australia, as Consequence notes. Featured on the album are Shaboozey, Miley Cyrus, and Post Malone. The publication also notes the album is presented in the style of a country radio show, and making appearances as DJs are Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Linda Martell.)

Shyne Nightclub Shooting Victim Says Diddy Is Responsible For Her Life-Changing 1999 Injuries

Sean “Diddy” Combs is learning the hard way these past few months that what’s done in the dark will always find a way to shine. Still, the Bad Boy mogul’s legal team continues to deny any rumoured wrongdoing on his behalf, even as all his alleged former skeletons fall out of the closet. Among them is a 1999 incident at a nightclub that led to the arrest of Jamal “Shyne” Barrow, Jennifer Lopez, and her then-beau Diddy, which the former ultimately served 10 years in prison for. As News Nation reports, the music executive was taken into custody on weapons charges at the time, and in 2008, victim Natania Reuben filed a $130M lawsuit for compensation against Combs. By summer 2011 they settled, though the survivor continues to insist it was Combs who shot her.

“I am the woman who he shot in the face in that Dec. 27, 1999, Club New York shooting. I have told everyone, ad nauseam, since then. I watched him fire the gun,” she shared on social media in February. More recently, she spoke with reporter Elizabeth Vargas about the situation. “I didn’t have any reason to believe that someone wouldn’t believe me. But as things unfolded, it was a very short period of time where I realized that’s what was happening,” the courageous woman shared.

Natania Reuben Speaks Her Truth Regarding Diddy Shyne Nightclub Shooting

Elsewhere, Reuben says she’s feeling “extremely emotional” amid the latest reports of Diddy’s homes being raided across the country. “It’s been basically a quarter of a century since this occurred, and I’ve had to re-live this over and over again,” the woman vented. “When I saw [the raids], it felt really cathartic because I finally feel like justice is being done.”

As authorities and internet sleuths continue to unravel the tangled web of Diddy’s many allegations, the latter is having a field day with the latest news about Yung Miami. According to the Lil Rod lawsuit, the City Girl was on her former Papi’s payroll as a sex worker, along with 50 Cent’s baby mama Daphne Joy. Born on July 19, 2012, Riley Elizabeth Curry is the first of the three kids Ayesha and Steph Curry share. The 11-year-old is no stranger to fame as she has been in the public eye since she was born. However, in a 2023 interview with Insider, her mother expressed regret for not shielding her from social media. “If we had known back in the day just how chaotic it would make life, I don’t think we would’ve done it,” Ayesha said. Nevertheless, Riley is still seen out with her parents often and is adored by their fans.

Although she isn’t following in her dad’s footsteps playing basketball, Riley is a talented athlete. In 2023, her father told People that her athletic interest lies in volleyball. “She’s found something she loves, and she’s passionate about it, and she loves to work at it,” Steph said. In addition, Riley also shares her mother’s culinary talents and made appearances on Ayesha’s Kitchen (2016–2017). Not much else is known about her personal life and interests, and her parents would probably like it to stay that way.
