Boosie Says Doesn’t Want Lawsuit with Yung Bleu to Impact His Legacy

chrome capture 2024 12 20

Boosie Badazz wants to resolve his legal issues over Yung Bleu’s contract. Speaking with DJ Vlad, Boosie said he is “hopeful” of a resolution as they are both tired.

“I want Bleu to go in there and say, ‘give him [Boosie] some money and let’s move on,’” Boosie said.

Boosie added he prayed over the issue and stated he doesn’t want to develop any hate in his heart because that’s when he is at his weakest and begin to make bad decisions.

“I don’t want that to be part of my legacy, fighting my artist and brother for money,” Boosie said. “I hope they feel the same way. When you know the situation and how I was done, it shouldn’t be that hard as men – and we dealing with people with multimillions – it’s nothing to say, give Boosie some money.”

This isn’t the first time Boosie has wanted to wrap up this legal battle. Hitting X in April, Boosie tweeted his desire to sidestep court because attorneys and more see it as a payday.

“They want us to keep having to go to court my n—a,” Boosie wrote. “They putting u deeper in the hole by paying for your attorney fees. Why they don’t wanna pay your tab and get this negativity off you? Because they make more money with us beefing my n—a.”

Back in September 2023, Boosie Badazz was without an Instagram account. The controversial rapper’s account was disabled, and he believed it was due to his beef with Yung Bleu.

Boosie’s most recent page was @mamaheliveagain2.0, but now it’s gone. Hitting Instagram on his newest account, Boosie blamed Bleu.

“Yung Bleu got my Instagram took,” Boosie said. “Him and TQ the cable guy, they got my Instagram took.”

The accusations toward Yung Bleu come after a lengthy back and forth. Boosie beleives Bleu and his brother TQ forged the Louisiana legend’s signature on paperwork for an EMPIRE deal.

LeBron James is not a fan of the new NBA All-Star Game format. But he also noticed the amount of 3s being shot, citing it as an issue.

When asked about the format, James said, “It’s not just the All-Star Game. It’s our game in general. There’s a lot of f—ing 3s being shot. So it’s a bigger conversation than just the All-Star Game.” Analyzing last year, James said, “Something had to change.”

Adding, “It’s different. Obviously anytime you make some type of change it’s going to be some buck back. I don’t know. I mean, I have my ideas of what could possibly work. … You got to do something. Obviously, the last couple of years have not been a great All-Star Game that Sunday night.”

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver spoke to the media and offered his opinion on current play, stating, “I would not reduce it to a so-called 3-point shooting issue. I think we look more holistically at the skill level on the floor, the diversity of the offense, the fan reception to the game, all of the above.”

The NBA and NBPA have unveiled a revamped format for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on February 16 in San Francisco. This year’s event will introduce a mini-tournament structure, with four teams competing in three games.

Three teams will consist of NBA All-Star selections, while the fourth will be the Castrol Rising Stars champion. Semifinal matchups will determine the finalists, and winners will advance to the championship. Each game will end when a team reaches or surpasses 40 points.

Teams, each with eight players, will be named after TNT analysts. Honorary GMs Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith will draft from the 24 NBA All-Stars on February 6, while Candace Parker will manage the Rising Stars champion squad.

DJ Akademiks jokingly apologized to JAY-Z and Roc Nation over his past remarks.

While highlighting how HOV and his team responded to a lawsuit led by attorney Tony Buzbee, which they dub as extortion, Ak highlighted the team as too powerful.

Lil Baby Explains Why He Will Never Get Legally Married

Lil Baby has been doing press at an unprecedented level in promotion of his new album WHAM. The rapper typically likes to keep to himself, but he has been incredibly forthright about his personal life and his stances on various topics. One of the most intriguing topics came about during an appearance on the Lil Yachty podcast A Safe Place. Lil Baby was asked whether he would consider getting married at some point in the future. He made it clear that legally speaking, he has no interest in tying the knot.

Lil Baby has nothing against romance, but he doesn’t feel the need to go through the legal steps needed to become man and wife. That’s what he told Lil Yachty, at least. “Prenups don’t mean nothing,” the ATL rapper asserted. “It’s no thing that you can marry a woman and then she don’t get nothing.” Baby added that he would prefer to establish a marriage on his own terms. He wants to go about his love life without the financial risks that come with paperwork. “It’s ways for her to get something, regardless once y’all get married,” Lil Baby noted. “I give a girl $10 million ring, $10 million wedding, no paperwork.”

Lil Baby Doesn’t Want To “Share” His Finances

Lil Baby believes that a personal vow should be more than enough to bind two people, romantically. “That’s my offer,” the rapper asserted. “I vow til death do us part, we married.” Lil Yachty tried to pose different situations in which being legally married would benefit the rapper. Lil Baby wasn’t going for it, though. Even if he was in an accident, or sent to prison, the rapper said he “wouldn’t give a damn” about the benefits. He also wanted to account for the possibility of feelings changing with a partner as he gets older. “That could change when I get older,” the rapper noted. “I don’t really see that.”

Lil Baby also discussed his stance on “snitches” during his Safe Place discussion. He told Lil Yachty that he does not make music with rappers he considers to be snitches. His reasoning? He doesn’t feel like his lyrics would come across as convincing in collaboration with someone who doesn’t share his values. “It boils down to what we rapping about,” he explained. “We can’t rap about that if you did that. If I was making Christmas music, then I don’t give a damn what you did.”

Playboi Carti Trolls Fan Who Begs Him To Drop “I AM MUSIC” Album

Playboi Carti went years without engaging with fans on social media. We are in a different era, however. The rapper has been active on Instagram and Twitter for the past few months. Fans initially took this to mean he had a new album coming. The social media return has only yielded one single and one collab with The Weeknd, though. Playboi Carti has yet to release I AM MUSIC, his anticipated third album. He has, however, decided to troll fans who are directly asking him for a release date.

Playboi Carti posted photos of himself on Instagram. The comments were mostly positive, with many praising the rapper’s “cool” appearance. There were more than a few fans, however, who were tired of the photos. They want music, after waiting years for I AM MUSIC to drop. “Good fit but pls drop,” wrote one particularly incensed user. Playboi Carti decided to respond to said user, but his response was more confusing than anything. Instead of proving a date or a flippant response, he simply wrote: “BET.” It’s not clear what Carti meant here.

Playboi Carti Randomly Commented “BET” On Instagram

Playboi Carti has done everything but provide concrete details since the release of the “ALL RED” single. He has claimed to be releasing I AM MUSIC on a Thursday evening, only to have nothing release by the time midnight rolls around. He claimed to want to handle the album’s production and rapping solo, then has gone on to tease collabs with superstars like Mustard, Lil Baby and Metro Boomin. Playboi Carti also said that Kanye West is producing songs for the album. There is, however, a few promising hints that we will get the album sooner than later.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the I AM MUSIC bundles, which pair vinyls of the album with shirts and/or hats, have been updated. While the bundles had been put on hold while Playboi Carti finishes the album, they now read “ready to ship.” This has many fans believing that he is actually done with the album, and is simply waiting for the right time to drop. Playboi Carti has dropped, out of the blue, on Christmas Day before, so anything is possible. Or maybe “BET” is the secret that unlocks this whole rollout. We doubt it.

SZA Promises To Release “More” Music Before The End Of 2024

SZA had a rollercoaster of a Friday. She delayed the release of LANA (SOS Deluxe) at the last possible minute. She dropped the album roughly 12 hours later than expected, but it was worth the wait. The new deluxe edition came with an entire album’s worth of material, including a Kendrick Lamar feature. It was enough to satiate any hardcore SZA fan. The most exciting part of the singer’s rollout, though, is that she isn’t done. She got on Twitter the evening she dropped and claimed that she has more music on deck for 2024.

It may be surprising, the idea of new music after it took SZA two years to drop LANA (SOS Deluxe), but that is what the singer is promising. She told fans that “new treats” were on the way, and added that TDE label boss Punch has given her the green light. “Punch gave the go ahead to purge and drop all songs,” SZA wrote in a separate tweet. “More things are on the way.” You wouldn’t be judged for thinking SZA is merely hyping up new material, and won’t actually drop before the end of the year. We’ve seen it before, and in the case of Playboi Carti, we’re still seeing it. But SZA provided even more info on songs to come.

SZA Will Drop Again On Christmas Or New Year’s Eve

SZA posted a screenshot of a text conversation between her and Punch. “King being kind n finna let me purge it all,” she tweeted. “Yes I’m secretly begging for more than this lmao everybody say thank you.” It certainly does seem like the singer is pushing for more songs to see the light of day. The screenshot has SZA referencing specific songs by name. She asks Punch if she can drop songs called “PSA,” “Take You Down” and “Open Arms.” The TDE boss responded by issuing a slight delay. He told the singer to wait a week or so before dropping again.

“I think we should def let this breath for a week at least,” Punch asserted. “Give it to them for New Year’s or Christmas.” Punch has been pretty communicative with both SZA and the fans during the LANA (SOS Deluxe) rollout. He claimed it was his fault the album was delayed by half a day. He did, however, make a joke about SZA after she posted the text screenshot. Punch quote tweeted the singer and wrote: “Aiight. Somebody get her phone.”
