JT Drops Hard-Hitting Single “Okay” Amidst City Girls Feud

JT and Yung Miami are not in the best place at the moment. The two emcee rose to fame as the duo City Girls, but true to form in 2024, they have engaged in a public feud. The whole thing started when Miami called out JT for “sneak dissing” her on X (formerly Twitter). The latter denied these claims, and told her partner in rhyme that she was “playing dumb.” Things appeared to have cooled down in the three weeks since the social media explosion, but City Girls does not look as though it continue for much longer. This makes it the perfect time for JT to drop the solo single “Okay.”

The Florida rapper teased a snippet of “Okay” on April 16, along with a pre-order link. The single sees JT engage in her usual boastful style, which sounds amazing over the horn-heavy beat. The bouncy drums are a throwback to the sound Waka Flocka Flame and Lex Luger established in the late 2000s, but with a slicker, modern spin. JT’s bars are standard for anyone who’s spent time listening to a City Girls tape, but the appeal of both her and Yung Miami has always been the swagger over the wordplay. “I’m pretty than a motherf**ker, h*es be lookin’ okay,” she raps. “She think that she f**king with me, is this b*tch okay. He said he ain’t f**kin’ ’round, I look at him like, okay.” It’s a memorable chorus.

JT Proves That She Can Kill A Track Solo

“Okay” is the latest track to be released from JT’s rumored debut album. There isn’t a proper name or release date, but the rapper has been teasing multiple leaks. “Okay” is the third single for the album after “Sideways” and “No Bars,” both of which dropped in 2023. JT gushed about being able to make the music she wants in an IG post hyping up “No Bars,” and it’s safe to assume the excitement extends to “Okay” as well. “No more hiding my love for music, I love music,” she wrote. “I love my voice! I love poppin’ my sh*t.”

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Okay,” by JT? Does the song make you more excited for JT’s solo album? Does it live up to the rapper’s work with City Girls? Do you think JT and Yung Miami are going to continue as a duo? We want to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Yung Miami Is “Tired” Of The Drama In Her Life Lately

The City Girls may be known for having bold attitudes, but that doesn’t mean they welcome drama into their personal lives. Unfortunately, like most celebrities, Yung Miami and JT find themselves caught up in internet beef, even recently going at one another on Twitter/X. Last week, it seemed as though tensions were brewing between the partners in rhyme as onlookers made comments about Miami not showing enough support to JT. Both women expressed frustration at how the opinions of others were coming between their close bond but were able to make up in the end.

Elsewhere, the Caresha Please host is still fighting off allegations of being a “sex worker” for Diddy, as alleged in Lil Rod’s lawsuit. Rather than running and hiding, Miami dropped off her “CFWM” single earlier this spring and has attempted to focus her energy on promoting that. However, another rising rap diva accused the Florida native of stealing her bars, resulting in even more drama. On Tuesday (April 16), the fashionista used her online presence to vent about how exhausting things have been for her lately.

Yung Miami Hints at Why She Didn’t Come Between GloRilla and JT

“I am a grown a** lady with two kids, I don’t have time to be inserting myself in anything that has nothing to do with me!” she wrote this morning. Some think that Miami’s referring to a spat between GloRilla and JT, but it’s hard to say for sure. “I don’t have a problem with anyone, please leave me alone!!!” the City Girl continued. “Every day I wake up on this app it’s something new, I am tired!”

As Yung Miami said, her main priority right now is promoting her “CFWM” single featuring Skilla Baby, and she doesn’t want any drama to distract from her delivery over the MIA JAY C-produced beat. Have you tapped into the femcee’s song yet? If not, check it out at the link below, and tap back in with HNHH later for more music/pop culture news updates.

JT Likes A Fans Tweet Weighing In On Her Beef With GloRilla

Last week, JT and GloRilla first engaged in what would become a massive Twitter beef. The fiery exchange has seen the pair arguing about an huge variety of things. In one moment the City Girls’ rapper claimed that GloRilla had absolutely no sex appeal. They’ve also gone back and forth over a story about Glo allegedly hitting her with a purse. But even as JT has been making up with other people she beefed with online like Saucy Santana and Yung Miami, she doesn’t seem to be letting up on Glo.

Earlier today a fan caught her liking a tweet that definitely spoke on how she feels about the beef. “JT been supported and showed each girl love! but they forget that when they get to tweeting & make her look crazy” the tweet she liked reads. It popped up in the rapper’s likes and fans quickly took notice. In an Instagram post sharing the tweet she liked, fans largely took her side. “i mean she liked a truthful tweet” and “Jt also congratulated Glo on going top 10! But yall forgot that’s why Cardi was mad huh” two of the top comments on the post read. Check out the full variety of fan reactions below.

JT Still Showing Hostility To GloRilla

Earlier this week, GloRilla was in attendance at the CMT Awards. While on the red carpet she was asked about the ongoing beef. “Ehhhthang just always Ehhhthang, and at the end of the day, that day gon’ motherf***ing end,” she said in response to a question about why she had to go in so hard on the City Girls rapper.

Last month, JT teamed up with Doechii for the release of a new single called “Alter Ego.” What do you think of JT liking a comment claiming other rappers are switching up on her after she shows them love? Do you agree with the statement in the tweet she liked? Let us know in the comment section below.

City Girls’ Internal Beef Proved Short-Lived As JT And Yung Miami Publicly Made Up After Their Online Spat

While it may seem like the whole rap community has beef at the moment, at least one pair of feuding friends seems to have laid their discord to rest. JT and Yung Miami, known collectively as City Girls, fell out and made up over the course of several hours yesterday after a heated back-and-forth on Twitter (never X) was reconciled by something as simple as a phone call. How novel!

The tweets have all been deleted, but The Shade Room proved useful for something, capturing screenshots of the tail end of their exchange. After one last tweet from JT popped up on the timeline arguing that she has reason to be mad, Miami expressed confusion, saying “Jatavia we just got off the phone… now we back to the internet???”

Fortunately, the issue was quickly resolved. “This tweet was BEFORE the phone conversation,” JT explained. “Don’t know why it didn’t go through. Maybe because everyone was blowing up my phone!” In response, Miami declared she was “moving on,” telling her partner-in-rhyme, “I love you.” JT’s reply? “I love you more. I actually love you the most!”

Now THAT’s how you handle a falling out.

While Drake and Kendrick probably won’t be doing this anytime soon, it’s nice to see that some folks still know how to act, even if fans online love to feed into the negativity.

Yung Miami & Skilla Baby Are On That “CFWM” Energy: Listen

Yung Miami has been dealing with a lot of noise in her life mainly due to her troubled man Diddy. However, she has not been in the clear either. The femcee was handed down a lawsuit for copyright over “Act Bad,” a collaboration with Diddy and Fabolous. She did not appreciate how that all went down, saying, “I’m so tired of the internet & ppl f***ing with me everyday!!!” Furthermore, her and her City Girls bandmate JT were also at odds for a minute before eventually making up on X.

Clearly, there is a lot on Yung Miami’s mind and she may have just vented those frustrations on “CFWM.” It is an all-new single that dropped today and it features Detroit’s own Skilla Baby. This is the first these two have come together for a track and it is all about feeling beautiful and confident. It is a self-affirming anthem for the ladies and Miami definitely delivers the energy.

There is a possibility that this could be the start of the rollout for her solo project. JT is rumored to be dropping her own sometime in 2024, while Miami has been pushing the Yams era on her social media. It is a way of spelling out her hometown of Miami, but it is also the mindset she has going forward. You can stream “CFWM” with the link above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “CFWM,” by Yung Miami and Skilla Baby? Is this each artist’s best track as of late, why or why not? Who had the stronger performance on the track? What is your favorite element of it? Should they work together more in the future? Is Yung Miami dropping an album soon? Diddy And Yung Miami Embrace In Photo From Since Deleted Finsta Account

After an incredibly turbulent few weeks for Diddy things seem to be settling down a bit, at least for now. Aside from one of his closest associates being arrested and an ongoing investigation into potential sex trafficking by the federal government, the rap mogul himself hasn’t said or done much this week. But one particular Instagram post came along and served as a big surprise. After weeks of speculation about what kind of role Yung Miami may have played in all of this, the pair appear to be doing just fine.

That is according to a recently shared screenshot that reportedly comes from Miami’s finsta. The account and the story post have both since vanished but not before fans could grab the pics for evidence. In the picture the pair are embracing and the caption reads “Bobby & Whitney.” Miami has found herself on defense quite a bit since the raids on Diddy’s homes. She first had to defend herself from allegations of being an informant online. Then she had to have her lawyers pull receipts after being named in an amended version of Lil Rod’s lawsuit. Check out the new picture reportedly showing the pair together recently below.

Yung Miami And Diddy Allegedly Still Going Strong

As the accusations in producer Lil Rod’s lawsuit have been getting harder and harder to believe, someone you’d never expect actually took Diddy’s side. That’s 50 Cent who has spent nearly every day for months now posting anything negative he can find about the rap mogul online. But even he recently admitted that the lawsuit and especially allegations about Miami doing professional sex work, seemed difficult to believe.

The recent allegations have cause fans to pour over decades of footage of Diddy. In particular, one clip of an awkward interaction with Mike Tyson has resurfaced in the wake of recent claims. What do you think of a picture of Yung Miami and Diddy from her Finsta making the rounds online? Are you surprised she’s standing by the rap mogul given what he’ accused of? Let us know in the comment section below.

Even City Girls Appear To Have Beef With Each Other As JT And Yung Miami Trade Shots Online

Blame it on the election year, the eclipse, or something else, but the hip-hop world has descended into utter chaos in 2024. First, there was Ice Spice and Latto, then there was Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj. Kendrick Lamar threw shots at Drake and J. Cole; J. Cole shot back and apologized a few days later. Today, not only did Meek Mill air out his feelings about Wale but now, City Girls JT and Yung Miami are having it out on the timeline, apparently prompted by perceived shade from Saucy Santana.

Buckle up, this is a bumpy ride.

So, I guess the place to start is JT, who has been on a Nicki Minaj-esque tweet rampage for the past several hours, arguing with infamous Stan acoount Ken Barbie (please understand, all of these people need to get a life, but it’s high school on Stan Twitter 24/7, so of course, this is where it all started). Meanwhile, Yung Miami was dealing with a Stan troll of her own, and when her good friend Santana inserted himself into the conversation is where things really went left.

After telling off the stan in question (and receiving a catty reply in return), Santana tried to dismiss their return fire about Yung Miami being caught in the crossfire of Diddy’s ongoing legal drama. Unfortunately, JT apparently took his snide reference to TV shows about Diddy’s ongoing problems personally. “Your not my power of attorney sit your ass down!!!” she told him. She also took a separate tweet from Yung Miami around the same time the same way, interpreting Miami’s assertion that “A bitch been sneak dissing me for weeks” to be a reference to herself.

That opened the floodgates, and JT lit into her partner-in-rhyme, prompting a back-and-forth that is still ongoing, as of press time.

You can see more of the ongoing feud below. If all this is just rollout for a reunion album, I will be FURIOUS.

Yung Miami Was Reportedly Served With Trademark Infringement Paperwork Over The Rapper’s ‘Act Bad’ Merch

City Girls’ Yung Miami can’t seem to catch a break.

Lil Rod’s scandalous allegations against Diddy pulled the “Face Down” rapper’s name into the mountain of legal paperwork. Although she had continued to distance herself from her former beau, even denying claims of being a sex worker and allegedly transporting drugs at his behest. Somehow, Yung Miami still found herself at the center of another brewing legal matter.

Yesterday (April 6), Yung Miami was served with trademark infringement paperwork over her reported ‘Act Bad’ merchandise. A gentleman named Larry Taylor showed up at the rapper’s Houston, Texas, booking to give her a copy of the lawsuit.

In the now-viral video uploaded to his Instagram, Taylor explained that he was working on behalf of the alleged trademark owner, Charlie Cee (real name Charles Kenyatta Jr). Kenyatta, who owns Act Bad Entertainment, believes Yung Miami’s items conflicted with his company’s branding and overall likeness.

Yung Miami took to X (formerly Twitter) to refute the allegations. During an exchange with a user online, Yung Miami claimed that she never profited from the line.

In May 2023, as a member of City Girls, Yung Miami helped to popularize the phrase following the release of their collaborative song with Diddy and Fabolous.

Sexyy Red & Yung Miami Twerk Battle To “Get It Sexyy”

Megan Thee Stallion is hard at work on a new album, which means 2024 is bound to be another Hot Girl Summer after Diddy tried to have us all acting bad in 2023. However, the Houston native has said she’s unsure how many “pop that a**” songs she plans to include on the tracklist, as she hopes to remind the world of her rap skills first and foremost. Some music lovers are disappointed by this news, but others see it as a chance for other rap divas to shine with their NSFW tracks, such as Sexyy Red.

Over the past year, the St. Louis native has steadily dropped bangers on us, from “SkeeYee” to her latest hit, “Get It Sexyy.” The latter’s music video quickly went viral thanks to appearances from Drake, Adin Ross, and Soulja Boy among others. The 2000s iconography has us feeling seriously nostalgic, but besides dropping a visual, the mother of two has other ideas for promoting her song. Among them is a social media twerk battle with Yung Miami, which some think Sexyy championed.

For her part, the Hood Hottest Princess put on one hell of a show, flaunting her natural body in a white crop top and red booty shorts with “FREE MY BABY DADDY” written across the back. She showed off her splits, making her cheeks clap on the ground before effortlessly getting back up without missing a beat. When Miami responded she was also looking cute and casual at home, bending over to bounce her behind in unison with the beat to “Get It Sexyy.” Because she was nowhere near as theatrical as her competitor, viewers voted the Florida native as the loser but still applauded her for looking so good.

Though she looks good twerking, Yung Miami is still under public scrutiny for being named in Lil Rod’s troubling Diddy lawsuit. So far, the City Girl’s been denying any involvement in drug trafficking or being a sex worker for her former lover, but the internet isn’t totally convinced. Read all about those allegations at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Yung Miami Outright Denies Claims That She Was Paid To Keep Diddy Company: ‘Y’all Be Going For ANYTHING’

yung miami

After being accused of some eyebrow-raising, Diddy-related behavior, City Girls rapper Yung Miami had a message for fans on Twitter. “Y’all be going for ANYTHING,” she wrote.

While the intent behind her comment was relatively ambiguous at first, a commenter’s reply ensured that everyone knew exactly what she was talking about. “You for that 250k a month,” read the sassy reply. “Something the internet made up and yall ran with it!!!” Miami clapped back. “N****s don’t even pay that for child support why tf would a n**** ever pay me 250k for. FOR WHAT??”

Well, according to Rod “Lil Rod” Jones, the man suing Diddy for sexual harassment, Miami was not only being paid to keep the music mogul “company” — the suit specifically calls her a “sex worker” — but also to ferry synthetic drugs to him via private plane when his usual (alleged) bag man forgot them.

Of course, Miami isn’t the only one casting aspersions on Lil Rod’s claims — which, to be fair, are extensive, with many way out of the range of necessary inclusions to prove Diddy ever sexually harassed him. Sir Lucian Grainge, the CEO of Universal Music Group, also issued a reply via the label’s lawyers, requesting the judge in the case to not only throw out Rod’s lawsuit but also punish his lawyer for filing it in the first place.
