Mariah The Scientist Shows No Signs Of Straying From Young Thug As Rapper Remains Behind Bars

Spending the past year and a half in jail has been trying on Young Thug’s mental health, but it’s also left a hole in the life of his girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist. The pair began spending time together romantically just months before he was arrested on RICO charges, and the YSL leader has done his best to make sure she can feel his love through the distance. Seeing as she’s a rising R&B star in her own right, Mariah likely has plenty of suitors sliding into her DMs. However, in a recent interview, the Atlanta native confirmed that she’s holding out for Thugger’s release, no matter how long it takes.

“What would you say to people who had something to say about you saying, ‘Free my baby daddy,’ or ‘Free Thug!’”? the journalist speaking with the “Church” artist asked. “I feel like, and this is in all honesty, there is nobody on planet Earth that can get between me and supporting my man,” The Scientist confidently responded. “I’m sorry, it’s just not gonna happen,” she assured any doubters out there.

Mariah the Scientist Gives An Update on Her Situation with Young Thug

Mariah then called out people on the internet for making assumptions about her and Thug, among other things, and being judgemental. “They have a lot to say, but I’m sorry to hear that you don’t understand what I got going on,” the 25-year-old continued to clap back at haters. “Maybe one day you will, but the odds are you won’t. I don’t feel the need to explain and express to somebody the love I have for somebody else… It’s not gonna change what I have going on, what people have to say.”

Unfortunately for Young Thug and Mariah the Scientist’s love life, it doesn’t look as though the So Much Fun hitmaker will be freed from jail anytime soon. Lawyers are still struggling to find the right candidates to sit on a jury, and amid that search, they’re also seeking to have YSL Polo removed from the trial due to his erratic behaviour. Young Thug’s Lawyer Seeks To Remove YSL Polo From RICO Trial Due To His Behavior

Multiple YSL affiliates are still behind bars following multiple delays in jury selection and other factors in the rap-centered collective’s RICO case. While most of the attention is understandably on Young Thug, his codefendants are proving to be just as important in this trial, for better or worse. Moreover, a lot of these delays occurred due to the court severing other affiliates from the trial for a variety of reasons. Many of these relate to the individuals’ behavior, mental health, and series of crimes committed while awaiting trial in this case. This new instance of that has unclear context behind it, but Thug’s legal team believes it could be a detriment.

Furthermore, new footage of YSL Polo’s odd movements and refusal to give verbal acknowledgement in court caused concern among many. Not only is this due to his own health and state of mind, but in terms of how it will affect Young Thug and the YSL trial as a whole. Thugger’s attorney Brian Steel witnessed this, and according to a newly surfaced motion, wants to take action. He filed to sever Polo, real name Cordarius Dorsey, from this trial to ensure a fair process for his client.

“Jeffery Williams, by and through undersigned counsel, hereby files this motion to Sever Parties in the above-referenced case,” Young Thug’s team’s motion reads. “In support of this Motion, Mr. Williams shows as follows. Mr. Williams is innocent of all charges in the above-referenced indictment. Mr. Dorsey, a co-indictee, has displayed unprofessional and unacceptable conduct in Court, in the presence of this Honorable Court, as announced on the Record on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

“Based upon information and belief, during a separate trial, Mr. Dorsey, using movements with his hands, threatened the prosecutors as well as the jurors,” it continues. “Mr. Williams has filed a Demand for Speedy Trial and will not upset that Demand for Speedy Trial. However, Mr. Williams asks this Honorable Court to exercise its discretion and sever Mr. Dorsey so that Mr. Williams’ Constitutional right to a fair trial is not prejudiced.” Despite these difficulties, the Atlanta trap pioneer holds his head high in court. After Initially Denying It, Sexyy Red Can’t Help But Admit She And Young Thug Actually Do Look Alike

Having fans is a bit of a mixed bag: People enjoying your work is great, but sometimes, they can say things that get under your skin. In a recent interview, Sexyy Red was asked about fan interactions that annoy her, and she responded, “I hate when they say I look like Young Thug ’cause no the f*ck we do not look alike.”

In the comments of a DJ Akademiks upload of the interview clip, a lot of the responses were disagreeing with Red. Comments include, “She literally do look like thugger tho,” “Man she ain’t fooling nobody I know thug when I see him,” and, “I never seen young thug n sexy redd in the same room before.”

Now, Red has given in. In a tweet from August 30, the rapper shared a side-by-side image of her and Thug, adding, “Yea that’s my twin I must admit [laughing emoji].”

Meanwhile, she just announced The Hood Hottest Princess Tour, which kicks off with a Boston concert in October and will hit a number of other North American cities between then and the end of November. She also recently linked up with Tyler The Creator and the two snapped some photos together, one of which really got people talking.

Drake’s Rumored ‘For All The Dogs’ Track Has A Line About Young Thug Incarceration That Disappointed Fans

We know very little about Drake‘s upcoming album, For All The Dogs. While we have a title and an adorable cover art drawn by his five-year-old son, Adonis, we don’t have any idea of a release date, or a tracklist.

While rumored release dates have come and gone, Drake continues to tease For All The Dogs, noting that he’s still putting finishing touches on the album. However, a leaked snippet has made its way onto the internet.

Though the snippet has since been removed, fans quickly caught onto a line, on which Drake raps, “I should probably be in there with Thug and them.”

This likely alludes to Young Thug, who has been jailed for the past year, amid trials for RICO charges, along with several other members of the Young Stoner Life imprint. Many fans took to Twitter to express disappointment in the line, implying that Drake is attempting to put on a more tough image.

“Drake u are canadian,” said one Twitter user. “U are not about that hood life. Never was never will be.”

“Drake would lose his mind in there,” said another Twitter user, “idk what tf is wrong with him”

Drake has not commented on the matter, nor is it confirmed if this particular song will be on For All The Dogs.

In a new interview, Sexyy Red is asked if there’s anything in particular that gets her heated. Her answer is pretty funny, claiming that she hates when fans tell her she looks like Young Thug. “Cuz no the f*ck we do not look alike.” The clip of the interaction that went viral provides a handy comparison between the two, showing that to some extent they kind of do look alike. Fans in the comments agreed.

Sexyy Red is having a breakout 2023. Fans looking to catch her performing in person will have plenty of opportunities. First, they could see her on Drake and 21 Savage’s “It’s All A Blur” tour. Earlier this month she was named as an opener for the remaining dates on the tour. She also announced her first ever headlining tour taking off later this year. The “Hood Hottest Princess” tour begins in October and will make 22 different stops running until November.

Fans could expect more information from Sexyy Red soon. She’s bee teasing a remix of her song “SkeeYee” for weeks. Young Thug & Donald Trump Indicted On RICO Charges By The Same District Attorney

You might’ve never expected it, but now Young Thug and former president Donald Trump have something in common. Moreover, both faced RICO charges headed by the same District Attorney, Fulton County’s Fani Willis. Of course, you most likely know about Thugger and YSL’s RICO case already, which has been one of the biggest rap stories of the past few years. However, amid already mounting legal trouble for No. 45, he now faces a 41-count indictment for election interference in 2020 in Georgia. Furthermore, this is now Trump’s fourth criminal case he was indicted on, and comes amid his run for president in 2024.

Now, he has until August 25 to turn himself into authorities, and so do the other 18 codefendants in the indictment like Rudy Giuliani. These specific charges claim that Trump engaged in organized criminal activity to tamper with the last election process in the state. Apparently, a crucial bit of evidence in the case relates to a January 2, 2021 phone call between Trump and Giuliani, plus several of the former’s lawyers. They allegedly spoke to Georgia’s then-Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, pleading for him to look into claims of voting irregularities and find more votes for Trump.

Fani Willis Brought Charges Against Both Young Thug & Donald Trump

What’s more is that this mounts Donald Trump’s accountability that he attempts to dismiss amid another run for the White House. One of them relates to alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 election, and that falls under New York state jurisdiction. However, another two cases are based on federal charges. There’s his scandal relating to classified documents after he left office in 2021, and accusations of tampering with the 2020 election related to the January 6 Capitol riots.

Meanwhile, with Young Thug’s RICO case as complex and in limbo as ever, this means that Fani Willis’ office has a lot to handle. While this is a curious connection between the two, there’s obviously very different implications and public perceptions at play in these cases. Regardless, people will continue to keep an eye on these legal battles, and maybe there are more similarities to come.
