Tsu Surf Hit With Five-Year Prison Sentence For RICO Charges

Earlier this week, Tsu Surf appeared in court, where U.S. District Judge Susan D. Wigenton handed him a mandatory five-year prison sentence. The artist was arrested in October of 2022 following a police standoff which saw him barricade himself and a woman inside of a Jersey City home, refusing to surrender.

The artist could have been looking at up to 30 years for his charges, however, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy and to possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon. He, along with nine other individuals, are accused of being members of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips. Tsu Surf has been accused of being a leader of the gang, and of shooting a rival gang member in 2017. He was given three years of supervised release, as well as a $15K fine.

Tsu Surf isn’t the only alleged Rollin’ 60s member to find themself in some hot water this year. This summer, Quando Rondo was also arrested along with various others, and indicted on drug and gang charges. He was later released on bond, allowing him to continue working. Georgia prosecutors later tried to have him banned from his hometown of Savannah. According to them, he’s a target for gun violence, making the city less safe. Luckily for him, however, the judge denied their motion.

Quando Rondo maintains his innocence, recently claiming to be suspicious that someone in his circle “snitched” on him. “I aint fw nobody right now !” he began, “I dont want nobody with my number right now ! I got one of the [best] lawyers and private investigators on my team this discovery nd paperwork done open my eyes one of yall n***as in the circle been talking thats why i cut all ties im innocent !” What do you think of Tsu Surf’s prison sentence? Young Thug & Donald Trump Indicted On RICO Charges By The Same District Attorney

You might’ve never expected it, but now Young Thug and former president Donald Trump have something in common. Moreover, both faced RICO charges headed by the same District Attorney, Fulton County’s Fani Willis. Of course, you most likely know about Thugger and YSL’s RICO case already, which has been one of the biggest rap stories of the past few years. However, amid already mounting legal trouble for No. 45, he now faces a 41-count indictment for election interference in 2020 in Georgia. Furthermore, this is now Trump’s fourth criminal case he was indicted on, and comes amid his run for president in 2024.

Now, he has until August 25 to turn himself into authorities, and so do the other 18 codefendants in the indictment like Rudy Giuliani. These specific charges claim that Trump engaged in organized criminal activity to tamper with the last election process in the state. Apparently, a crucial bit of evidence in the case relates to a January 2, 2021 phone call between Trump and Giuliani, plus several of the former’s lawyers. They allegedly spoke to Georgia’s then-Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, pleading for him to look into claims of voting irregularities and find more votes for Trump.

Fani Willis Brought Charges Against Both Young Thug & Donald Trump

What’s more is that this mounts Donald Trump’s accountability that he attempts to dismiss amid another run for the White House. One of them relates to alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 election, and that falls under New York state jurisdiction. However, another two cases are based on federal charges. There’s his scandal relating to classified documents after he left office in 2021, and accusations of tampering with the 2020 election related to the January 6 Capitol riots.

Meanwhile, with Young Thug’s RICO case as complex and in limbo as ever, this means that Fani Willis’ office has a lot to handle. While this is a curious connection between the two, there’s obviously very different implications and public perceptions at play in these cases. Regardless, people will continue to keep an eye on these legal battles, and maybe there are more similarities to come. On that note, log back into HNHH for more news on Donald Trump and the latest updates on Young Thug.

Several Of Young Nudy’s PDE Affiliates Arrested For Alleged Insurance Fraud Scheme

According to reports, several of Georgia-born rapper Young Nudy’s PDE affiliates were indicted earlier this week. All eight of them are facing RICO charges for their alleged role in a multi-state insurance fraud scheme. Apparently, they had managed to allegedly steal somewhere around $70,000 in COVID-19 relief funds. Prosecutors claim they stole “personal information from more than 100 Fulton County residents to apply for and receive federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funds.”

White Collar Crime Unit Deputy District Attorney Will Wooten shared a statement amid the arrests. “The White Collar Crime Unit spent more than two years investigating this case,” he explained. “Which came to our attention out of a series of gang-related homicide investigations in early 2021.” Wooten continued, “We spent countless hours combing through cell phone evidence, social media evidence, bank records, and other documents, and we intend to hold accountable all of the individuals charged by the grand jury in this case.”

The arrests were announced yesterday (August 9), by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. They claim it closed an investigation that took more than two years and involved multiple jurisdictions. It surrounded “associates of the PDE criminal street gang,” according to them. Along with the RICO charges, the individuals are also charged with identity fraud, violation of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, and conspiracy to defraud the state.

“Whether they are shooting or stealing, criminal street gangs will be prosecuted by my office for the crimes they commit in Fulton County using every tool available under the law,” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis claims. “If gangs choose to turn to white collar crimes to fund their illegal activities, we will be waiting with indictments in hand.” At the time of writing, Young Nudy has yet to comment on any of the arrests.

YFN Lucci Rejects 20-Year Plea Deal In Favour Of RICO Trial

It seems YFN Lucci has no interest in enduring the same taunting that Gunna’s facing since accepting a plea deal. Earlier this week, reports surfaced claiming that the accused killer was offered a 20-year agreement (17 of those in jail). As TMZ reports, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will only sign off on the deal if Lucci agrees to plead guilty to felony murder, racketeering, aggravated assault, and violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act.

Attorneys Drew Findling and Gabe Banks spoke with the outlet about Willis’ terms this weekend, calling them “absurd.” While representing their client – born
Rayshawn Bennett – the lawyers have apparently noticed the DA “intentionally dragging her feet.” Specifically, they noted that Lucci is still awaiting his trial after over two and a half years in police custody. Instead of putting her attention toward YSL and YFN, Fani is focusing her efforts on “newer, high-profile cases that have completely monopolized the Court’s resources.”

YFN Lucci is Headed to Trial

Elsewhere, Findling and Banks accused the Fulton County DA of having an “utter inability to prosecute complex cases.” While it sounds like they’ve got the odds stacked against them, Lucci’s lawyers sound confident in seeking justice for him. “Despite the obstacles consistently placed in the way of Mr. Bennett’s constitutional right to a speedy and fair trial, we continue to be ready and prepared to defend these false allegations,” they declared to TMZ.

In another report from earlier this week, it was alleged that several huge names in hip-hop will be called to the witness stand as Bennett’s case unfolds. Among them are Gunna, Lil Baby, and Young Thug, though the latter is highly unlikely to appear as his own legal proceedings are still playing out at this time. Do you think YFN Lucci will be able to make a clean break from his RICO trial? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for any updates from the ongoing case.

TX Rapper OMB Bloodbath Indicted For Aiding Violent Gang In Murder

Screen Shot 2023 03 13 at 4.58.46 PM

According to news reports, Houston rapper OMB Bloodbath has been indicted on RICO charges for allegedly aiding a violent gang in a murder.

OMB Bloodbath, whose real name is Alexandra Nicks, is allegedly part of the 100% Third Ward gang and is recognized as the leader of the gang. In documents obtained by AllHipHop, Nicks and other members of the 103 gang murdered a man named Sam Johnson in October 2017, according to claims from investigators.

Johnson was found lying in front of a Houston home, while police found the shells casings from the shooting on a nearby street. Nicks allegedly orchestrated numerous violet crimes with 103 gang members and investigators acquired calls between a known 103 gang leader locked up in Harris County Jail and OMB Bloodbath.

One of the calls found Nicks and the 103 leader speaking about her record deal and said she would pay for shooters for a drive-by. OMB Bloodbath was indicted on a RICO charge for aiding and abetting the murder of Johnson, as well as other crimes related to the 100% Third Ward crew.

OMB Bloodbath Accused Of Assisting Violent Gang Murder

OMB Bloodbath faced accusations of participating in a violent gang murder, which come from a 2017 shooting. Moreover, the rising Houston rapper allegedly aided her gang, the 100% Third Ward, in committing a gruesome attack. Furthermore, she stands indicted of a RICO charge (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act), which frequent readers know is serious business. Investigators maintained that Bloodbath, real name Alexandra Elizabeth Nicks, is a leader in this criminal organization. Also, they accused her of relaying messages from a 103 leader behind bars to fellow gang members in Houston streets.

In addition, these RICO charges likely stem from claims that the 29-year-old organized various crimes carried out by the gang under her direction. Not only that, but court documents obtained by AllHipHop reveal more details concerning these accusations. According to paperwork, the rapper and others murdered Sam Johnson on behalf of the 103 gang on October 16. 2017. Another victim, identified as a member of rival gang Young Scott Block (YSB), was injured in the shooting. Authorities found Johnson on a neighborhood front yard will shell casing strewn across a nearby street.

Also, investigators obtained surveillance footage which depicts a stolen Mazda driving by and shooting Johnson and the injured victim near a residence. In the footage, the car crashed into a drainage ditch, but the assailants kept shooting. Four men kept firing and ran towards a motel. Then, three shooters threw a woman and her infant out of a Kia Sedona that was near the street of the attack before driving away. After the shooting, officials reviewed jail calls between the Houston rapper and an incarcerated 103 leader.

During these recorded calls, the “Not Gang” artist and the prisoner discussed drive-by shootings by another gang, planning retaliation. Also, she told the leader about her upcoming record deal and said she’d pay “youngins” to shoot. “You’re going to have some good news in the morning when you turn on channel 13,” she allegedly told the leader the night before Johnson’s murder. As always, come back to HNHH for the latest on OMB Bloodbath and updates on this story.

Kay Flock Co-Defendant Refuses To Snitch: “See Ya In 30 Years”

Kay Flock emerged as the hottest rapper out of the New York drill scene, though his career is at risk. The 19-year-old Bronx rapper turned himself into authorities on first-degree murder charges in late 2021. And while fans have called for his freedom, the rapper is undoubtedly facing some serious time if found guilty of murder. Though he earned his biggest co-sign from Cardi B during his incarceration, his career could be seriously derailed. Since his arrest, police have held him at Rikers Island, though he’s maintained his innocence from the jump.

While the rapper faces charges related to the death of 24-year-old Oscar Hernandez, he was recently named as part of a RICO indictment. The police indicted Kay Flock on racketeering, murder, and attempted murder charges this week related to the Sevside/DOA crew. Since then, he was moved to federal prison as he awaits trial. If Flock is found guilty on all charges, he will face the mandatory life sentence or the death penalty.

Kay Flock’s Co-Defendant Sticky Won’t Snitch

As we’ve seen in the YSL case, it will only be a matter of time until co-defendants cop a plea deal. And if/when that happens, Kay Flock will undoubtedly be among the first to be taken down. However, a close affiliate of the rapper and co-defendant, Sticky, stated that he won’t bend or fold under pressure. He said that the prosecutors attempted to get him to flip, which he declined and vowed to take his case to trial.

Sticky shared a photo of himself and Kay Flock vowing to stay down, even if it results in a life sentence. “Fought at rolling loud together, guess we gotta fight these people together,” he wrote. “It’s all fun and games till them people come. They said ‘tell us about kevin, help yourself, 30 yrs is a long time.’ Well, guess I’ll see ya in 30 years.” Though many commended Sticky’s loyalty to Flock during this trying time, it seems that both are preparing for an uphill battle. Check out Sticky’s post above. Do you think Kay Flock will be convicted? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Sauce Walka Allegedly Arrested On Drug Charges After Crew Hit With RICO

Authorities allegedly arrested Sauce Walka on drug charges recently, according to a surfaced report from Rap House TV. Furthermore, police allegedly caught him with 66 grams of weed and charged with possessing, manufacturing, delivering, and selling with intent. Still, his bail set at $5K, which is lenient considering that many of his crew recently faced RICO charges following their arrest. However, it’s unclear if these two arrests and attached charges are related in any way, though signs point to no relation.

Moreover, officials arrested 14 members of Walka’s The Sauce Family back in December. Over 200 officials were part of the apprehension and on the case. Among specific charges listed in the case are drug trafficking and unlawful possession of a firearm. As we’re currently seeing with the YSL case, RICO charges are serious business and an incredibly tough process to go through. While the rapper did not find himself implicated in these original arrests, prosecutors probably have a lot of questions for him. Regardless, these new weed charges seem like a small bump for Walka, who also had a bench warrant for no driver’s license.

Sauce Walka Arrested On Drug Charges

However, the 32-year-old vehemently denied being involved in the RICO case a couple of days after that news broke. “I don’t want to speak on this s**t too much but I see it’s so many people that’s just so joyous and so happy and hoping and praying that I go to jail in some way shape or form,” he said. “Well guess what you b***h a** mothaf***as? Let me tell you somethin’…. n***a, I’m not going to jail for s**t unless they have a crime for selling my d**k. That’s what I do. I don’t even sell b***hes, I sell my d**k.”

Meanwhile, none of these developments stopped Sauce from making music, and we wouldn’t be surprised to hear from him soon. In fact, he recently formed part of a pretty crazy crossover for the track “Super Bowl.” Teaming up with Conway The Machine and Juicy J, it was an eclectic, unexpected, but pleasant surprise. Other than that, come back to HNHH for more updates on these stories and the latest on Sauce Walka.
