Xzibit Stomps On Dem Jointz’s Beat Like Godzilla On “Everywhere I Go”

Xzibit isn’t just coming back, he’s looking to take names and blow the competition out of the water. That’s the energy he’s exhibiting on his latest single, “Everywhere I Go.” It’s the third teaser to his upcoming album Kingmaker, which will be out sometime in early 2025. Excitingly, it’s going to be his debut record under Greenback Records, UFC world champion Conor McGregor’s brand-new imprint. X and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are his only two artists so far, but it’s quite a great way to get the label off the ground.

Prior to dropping “Everywhere I Go,” Xzibit got the rollout started with the grand and episodic “Play This At My Funeral,” which released on October 11. Then, two weeks later, the Detroit rapper would drop off the sequel to “Been a Long Time” with a new guest in Jenn Em. Both of the first two releases were incredibly strong, so how does this newest one fare? To put it simply, it’s another hit. Dem Jointz (Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Eminem) is on the boards, and he brings a rambunctious energy to the track. One element of the beat may sound familiar to fans of the Godzilla franchise, and it may have inspired some of X’s bars on the track, which you can find below. He sounds like the radioactive monster on the record as his presence is once again undeniable.

Hydraulics singin’ like the weekend

Xzibit Reveals Legendary West Coast MC Saafir Has Passed Away

The hip-hop world has lost another incredible figure earlier today. According to a report from AllHipHop, Michigan rapper Xzibit tragically announced the passing off iconic West Coast MC Saafir. He did so through an emotional and well-written post on Instagram just hours ago. “I can’t believe I’m writing this right now, but don’t know what else to do at the moment. Approximately at 8:45am this morning, my brother Reggie known to the world as Saafir passed away. We have so much history I can’t even explain what I’m feeling right now. We surrounded him and let him know how much we loved him. He can rest now,” Xzibit began.

“Friends, Family, everyone that rocked with us from the Hip Hop community, if you could be so solid and reach out for @chopblack his younger brother, and @lilsaafir his son, the family really needs to be supported during this time. That’s all I have right now. My soul is crushed. We love you Bro.” Saafir was 54, and his cause death is not known at this time.

For those who may not be familiar, Saafir was a prominent figure in the underground scene. He dropped his debut record, Boxcar Sessions, in 1994. However, he may be best recognized for his affiliation with a couple of rap groups. One of them was the Hobo Junction and the other being Golden State Project. The latter was a collective of Saafir, his “brother” Xzibit, and Rass Kass.

However, the underground legend was not just a spitter. He also had a role in the cult-classic film, Menace II Society. Fans in the comments section of Xzibit’s post were extremely supportive, with several notable names popping in to send their condolences. Royce da 5’9″ was left speechless, simply replying, “🤦🏿‍♂️” Our deepest condolences go out to Xzibit and Saafir’s family and friends.

On this day in 1999, legendary super-producer Dr. Dre put out Chronic 2001, his last album before a 16-year hiatus. Containing some of the most known tracks in rap, Chronic 2001 has been extremely successful over the years. As of July 2013, the album has been certified septuple platinum, selling 7,664,000 copies in the United States alone and with the recent success of the film Straight Outta Compton, one can only imagine the increase in its sales that is to come. Dr. Dre is an artist known for the breaks he takes between albums. Chronic 2001, the follow-up to The Chronic, came seven years after its predecessor and although it may have been an excruciating period of time to wait, each project he’s delivered has been more than worth the time spent wondering what it would consist of.

The quality of work that makes up Chronic 2001 is epic. Of course, the production of this album is more solid than most coming from Dre himself along with Mel-Man and Lord Finesse, but the vocal features that were at Dre’s disposal due to his success at the time also helped to make this project such a classic. Rappers such as The D.O.C., Hittman, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, and Eminem made appearances on this album. It would be an understatement to say that this project was an influential part of west coast rap and culture.

As previously stated, this album was widely regarded and critically acclaimed. It debuted in 1999 at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart where it peaked and sold 516,000 copies in its first week. The album also claimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, #4 on the UK Album Chart, and #17 in the Dutch Albums Chart. As far as its legacy, the album has made its appearances on music charts worldwide since its release and is #17 on the Billboard 200 chart for the 2000s. Its hit single “Still D.R.E.”, is certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA and is a household name in the Hip Hop world.

Dr. Dre’s successes following this album are enough to make a second movie about. His influence on rap and rap culture spans a generation and his place in pop culture as a whole has been cemented due to what he has accomplished. We can only sit back and watch what the mastermind that is Dr. Dre has in store for us in the coming years.

Xzibit Delivers A Part Two For “Been A Long Time” 24 Years Later

So far, we have to say that this uniting of Xzibit and Conor McGregor has been a match made in heaven. The Detroit born rapper and multimedia talent joined the UFC champion’s upstart entertainment venture Greenback Records earlier this month. The collective made the announcement on social media, writing, “In the kingdom of hip-hop, only the real ones reign supreme. A legend joins the Greenback dynasty ready to make history. We proudly welcome @xzibit to Greenback Records – the new chapter starts here.” In addition to that shocking but exciting news was the reveal of Xzibit’s first solo album since 2011’s Napalm.

Sometime next year, Greenback will house the legendary figure’s King Maker. Not much else is available in that regard. However, we now have two singles to get into as of Friday. October 11 marked his official return with the epic “Play This At My Funeral.” If you haven’t heard it yet, check it out here. But this weekend, Xzibit is dropping by with a familiar title, “Been A Long Time Pt.2.” On his popular 2000 album Restless, X dropped the inaugural track alongside the late hook master, Nate Dogg. Jenn Em fills that role on this version, and we must say she passes with flying colors. Both show off X’s slightly “softer” side, as his trademark growling delivery is still present while he raps about love and being there for his circle.

Xzibit Drops His First Single Under Conor McGregor’s Greenback Records With “Play This At My Funeral”

After 13 years, Michigan rapper Xzibit seems to be moving with a new purpose as he returns with “Play This At My Funeral.” This is the lead single for his upcoming album King Maker, which is going to be out sometime early next year. Outside of him making a grand solo return, the grimy Detroit native is doing so with a new backing. Early last week, it was announced that X signed to UFC legend Conor McGregor’s new label, Greenback Records. he kickstarted the musical endeavor in July and he’s already got Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on his roster.

Xzibit raps with intention on “Play This At My Funeral,” a track that recaps how far he’s come since coming onto the scene in the mid to late 90’s. “Guilty of shotgunning n****s ’cause they was running up
F***, I been fighting so long I sleep in combat boots / I don’t never take them off
.” In addition to the emotional performance, the beat perfectly backs the wide scope themes and messages that X is laying down. 21 the Producer is credited, and he deserves a ton of recognition for the epic boom bap backdrop. It’s anthemic, cinematic, awe-inspiring, and hard-hitting, and ideal for those days where you need some extra motivation.

Xzibit Signs With Conor McGregor’s Upstart Label Greenback Records And Announces New Music

Xzibit and Conor McGregor are joining forces. Who had that on their Bingo card? We can assure we didn’t, but here we are folks! According to a recent press release (and HipHopDX), the Detroit, Michigan MC, perhaps best known for his work with the likes of Dr. Dre, Eminem, among others, is inking a deal with the UFC legend and his upstart label, Greenback Records. The Dublin, Ireland native launched this business venture just a few months ago, mid-July to be exact. However, in just that short time frame, he’s already got one of the biggest groups in hip-hop signed to him in Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Greenback and its founder welcomed Xzibit with open arms on their social media accounts not too long ago. “In the kingdom of hip-hop, only the real ones reign supreme. A legend joins the Greenback dynasty ready to make history,” the entertainment company writes on IG. “We proudly welcome @xzibit to Greenback Records – the new chapter starts here. #KINGMAKER 👑.” You are probably wondering what “#KINGMAKER” means. Sadly, we do not have a concrete release date for the follow-up to 2011’s Napalm. But we are going to get it by sometime early next year. Congratulations to both Xzibit and McGregor for this partnership, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Action Bronson Is Absurd As Ever On “Nourish A Thug” And It’s Awesome

Action Bronson is a charismatic guy. It’s the reason he’s been able to overcome his staggering vocal similarity to Ghostface Killah. It’s also the reason he’s landed roles in blockbuster comedies and gang epics opposite Robert De Niro. None of this would have happened, of course, were it not for Bronson’s ability to showcase his charisma in his music. He’s a lyrical Jackson Pollack, combining bizarre imagery with obscure references that somehow make sense when the verse is over. And he just treated fans to another splatter-style single, “Nourish a Thug.”

Bronsolino myth-making is on full display in the song’s opening lines. “It’s the doctor,” he raps. “Here to f*cking take your temperature the old way.” From there, he goes on absurdist spiels about exfoliating in a lake, breaking out of a cobra clutch, and watching the Tyson Fury fight with two female friends. There’s a random segment, also, where he threatens (?) to pull up at someone’s house and have Xzbit place a fish tank in his civic. It wouldn’t be an Action Bronson song without an obscure film reference, and he sneaks it in the very last line. “Ride around the city like the bad lieutenant, b*tch,” he concludes. It’s a harrowing but hilarious reference for anybody who’s seen the 1992 film of the same name.

Action Bronson Spits Over An 80s-Style Instrumental

Tying all these bars together is the lush instrumental. Action Bronson has always leaned towards unique samples and vibes, and “Nourish a Thug” is no different. It sounds like the sort of music that would play during a sting operation on Miami Vice. A little cheesy and a lot of synths. “Nourish a Thug” would’ve fit perfectly on Bronson’s 2020 album Only for Dolphins. As it stands, this is the first single for what we can only assume is the rapper’s new project. If the rest of the project matches the quality on display here, we are in for a treat.

What are your thoughts on “Nourish a Thug” by Action Bronson? Is this the rapper’s best single yet? Do you like the beat? Are you excited for Action Bronson’s upcoming album? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Action Bronson. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on in the music world.

Quotable Lyrics:

I’ll pull up to your crib with Xzibit

95 m5 b*tches doing drag on hentai
9 million in the Rimowa

Xzibit Teases Potential “Pimp My Ride” Reboot

Xzibit has teased a reboot of the classic MTV show Pimp My Ride. Fans on social media are all excited about the series’ potential return. Pimp My Ride aired from 2004 to 2007 with Xzibit as its host. Xzibit would take people busted down cars and pimp them out at West Coast Customs garage. They would go wild on these cars, putting anything from fishtanks to video gems to fully functioning BBQ grills in this vehicle. The series is from a bygone era on MTV, and fans are nostalgic about it.

Xzibit posted a picture on Instagram on Wednesday, which sparked excitement among fans. Fans immediately suspected that a reboot of Pimp My Ride is in the works. The post, which features a top-down view of a tricked-out muscle car, was accompanied by the caption, “It’s Time To Get Back To Customizing Cars.” The post also features a cryptic date, which might indicate when the news will be officially announced. Fans hope it is real and an announcement will be made next week.

Xzibit Gets Fans Excited For Pimp My Rides Return

Fans are wondering if the show will indeed come back and how wild the customizations will be. Back in the day, Xzibit’s car customizations were out of control. Some were even so wild that they would seem impossible to drive. The show’s popularity and nostalgia come form the customizations but also Xzibit’s hosting capabilities. He was entertaining as a host and had some very memorable and hilarious moments. If it comes back, hopefully, X will be back as its host.

Rapper Xzibit was a well-known and accomplished rapper before the sereis, but it took his fame to a new level. With Xzibit and the program both so successful, viewers were taken aback when Pimp My Ride was canceled after just six seasons. X hasn’t always had a good relationship with the show’s creators, despite him hinting at the show’s comeback if there was any time to bring the show back, it’s now. Overall, it will be an exciting and nostalgic sensation if the Pimp My Ride Reboot is real. What wild pimped-out customizations can you make with 2024 car technology?

Xzibit Net Worth 2024: Updated Wealth Of The Rapper

From the bustling streets of Detroit to the star-studded avenues of Hollywood, the trajectory of Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, better known by his stage name Xzibit, is nothing short of extraordinary. With a compelling blend of gritty lyrics, business acumen, and an undeniable on-screen charisma, this multi-talented figure has solidified his position in the annals of pop culture. In 2024, CAKnowledge pegs Xzibit’s net worth at a commendable $3 million. Let’s journey through the chapters that contributed to this figure.

Motor City Beginnings: The Rap Evangelist

Detroit in the 1970s was a cauldron of musical innovation, and a young Alvin was right in its midst. But it wasn’t Motown that caught his fancy. Instead, it was the burgeoning world of hip-hop. By the time he reached his teenage years, Xzibit was a stalwart in the underground rap scene. Albums like At the Speed of Life and 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz didn’t just sell; they told stories of street life, ambition, and survival. They resonated. They were real.

While Xzibit’s music created ripples, television turned those ripples into waves. Pimp My Ride, an MTV production, became an unexpected juggernaut with Xzibit at its helm. Here, he wasn’t just a host. Xzibit was the charismatic maestro orchestrating vehicular transformations. With its blend of car culture and light-hearted banter, the show shot Xzibit into the mainstream, making him a household name. But his screen endeavors weren’t restricted to this. Appearances in films such as Derailed and xXx: State of the Union showcased his versatility as an actor.

Personal Notes: Beyond The Limelight

While many know Xzibit for his music and screen presence, fewer know his entrepreneurial ventures. Over the years, he’s dabbled in various business avenues, from founding his own record label, Open Bar Entertainment, to stepping into the world of cannabis with his brand, Napalm Cannabis Co. These ventures, combined with his entertainment career, have played pivotal roles in accumulating his net worth.

Away from the spotlight, Xzibit’s life has seen its fair share of ups and downs. Personal losses and challenges have often intersected with his professional highs, adding layers to his narrative. These experiences, many of which have found their way into his music, serve as a reminder of his depth as an artist and individual.

Reflections On A Resonant Career

In analyzing Xzibit’s financial standing in 2024, it’s crucial to recognize that his $3 million net worth isn’t just a testament to his talent but to his adaptability. From Detroit’s rap circuits to Hollywood’s glitzy sets, from the recording studio to the boardroom, Xzibit has consistently reinvented himself, staying relevant across decades. Overall, while monetary valuation is a success metric, Xzibit’s true worth lies in his ability to connect, whether through a rap verse, a TV show, or a business venture. Here’s to a man whose journey embodies the essence of evolution and endurance.

Dr. Dre Pays Tribute To Radio Station That Gave Him His Start On Their Anniversary

Everybody has to start somewhere. That includes one of the most influential rappers, producers, and moguls in the genre’s storied history. Dr. Dre began his career as a radio DJ for a Los Angeles station called KDAY which is now known as KBLA. Despite all the success he’s achieved since and the hundreds of thousands of fellow artists he’s interacted with along the way. he still remembered the station and wished them well as they celebrated their 40th anniversary.

In a video shared to Instagram by Xzibit, Dre reminisces on his time at the station. “I have so many reasons to thank KDAY, but I’ll just give you a couple of them right now. KDAY was the first station that gave me an opportunity when I was a young and up-and-coming DJ. They gave me my own radio show, which was called The Traffic Jam, and I showed up every weekday at 5 o’clock, and every artist out there knows what this is like … the first time you hear your sh*t on the radio — the feeling is amazing, Dre explained. “Not only that, KDAY was the first station to play the first song I ever produced on my own, which was ‘Boyz-N-The-Hood,’ so I can’t thank them enough. So I’d like to say happy 40th anniversary, KDAY, and I really, really appreciate this honor.

Even after decades of recording and releasing material, Dr. Dre isn’t slowing down yet. Just last month Marsha Ambrosius shared an update on an album Dre is producing with her. During the recent Soul Train Awards she hit fans with a tease of the new album produced by Dre.

The last time Dr. Dre released an album of his own was all the way back in 2015. While rumors of him potentially working on new material have swirled for years, very little ever officially materialized. He’s also reportedly mused on retiring from music altogether. Thankfully for fans though, that doesn’t appear to be happening any time soon. What do you think of Dr. Dre’s thank you message to the radio station that played a pivotal role in his come-up?
