Dave East is back with a new banger that has a pretty clear message. “Rich Problems” is a hard-hitting new song that delivers exactly what it promises. East goes into detail in the lyrics about the various trapping of money and fame. The song also came with an extravagant new video that sees Dave going all around Abu Dhabi. It’s full of imagery that feels like a perfect back drop for his lyrics about what wealth can do to someone.

Dave East has been releasing music constantly all year so far. He dropped a deluxe edition of his album Book Of David from last year. The record was made in collaboration with DJ Drama and Buda & Grandz. He also dropped TRAP MIAMI II, or at least the first half titled Side A. The project is a collaboration with TutxTut that’s expected to get a full edition later this year. He’s also released a bunch of new singles with artists like WHOISTEVENYOUNG, Uncle Murda, Young Chris, and Ambezza.

A few weeks ago East dropped “Clarity Pt. 2” a sequel to his Nipsey Hussle collaboration. He’s also been releasing a series of freestyles over some notable beats recently. The most popular so far has been his take on Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock.” His version of the song featured Nino Man and came attached to a fun looking music video at a party.

Dave East and Papoose had a discussion about fatherhood on a recent podcast appearance. They were both guests on the Listen To Black Men podcast and when the discussion of fatherhood came up they had quite a bit to say. New Video Shows Conor McGregor And Alleged Victim After Alleged Sexual Assault

Earlier this week, MMA fighter Conor McGregor was accused of raping a woman in a bathroom after Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Miami. A letter from the woman’s attorney alleges that security guards separated the alleged victim from her friend and forced her into a men’s bathroom. McGregor and his own security were reportedly already inside. The MMA fighter then proceeded to “violently kiss” the woman before forcing her to perform oral sex on him, Mitchell alleges. As the letter continues, McGregor allegedly attempted to sodomize the woman. Despite this, she was reportedly able to escape after elbowing the Irish fighter repeatedly. However, she reportedly left her purse behind and had to plead for McGregor’s team to return it to her.

After the story was broken by TMZ, the outlet also published a video shot prior to the alleged assault. McGregor is seen leaving a bathroom with his personal security, taking a woman by the hand and leading her back into the bathroom. The footage appears to contradict claims that the victim was forced into the bathroom by arena security. However, the footage does corroborate details about security preventing anyone from entering or exiting the bathroom after they go inside. McGregor’s attorneys, who have vocally denied the allegations, said the video was further proof of his innocence. Now, TMZ reportedly has additional video from that night.

According to TMZ, the newest video they have obtained was shot at 12:40am on the morning of June 10. It shows McGregor and his alleged victim talking inside the Kaseya Center club. TMZ claims that this video was shot around 30 minutes after the victim claimed to have been raped by McGregor. McGregor’s attorneys have once again proclaimed the fighter’s innocence based on this evidence. “”While the claimant’s story has changed yet again,” Barbara R. Llanes said in a statement, “our account of the evening has never changed. This video only reinforces our position. We look forward to the swift conclusion of the investigation.”

However, the alleged victim’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, has provided a different side to the story. She claims that the new video shows the pair “visibly awkwardly interacting”. Additionally, she states this was not the case before they went into the bathroom. “My client has always stated that there would be video of before and after, and in those videos she emphasized that the difference in the interactions between them would be visibly noticeable,” Mitchell told TMZ. “This again is another video that supports what my client has been saying and supports what she told the police since the inception of this incident.” This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates here at HotNewHipHop.

YNW Melly’s Ex-GF’s Mom Takes The Stand, Admits To Feeling Threatened By Law Enforcement

The updates from YNW Melly’s double murder trial have been coming out fast and furious since things began in Broward County on Monday (June 12). Aside from the interesting testimony, viral moments have included Boosie Badazz’s presence in the courtroom (though he was arrested on unknown federal charges on Wednesday), as well as Melly’s attorney’s questionable notebook. The accused killer himself got the internet talking after he appeared to both cry and pray. Elsewhere, a family member of one of the victims actually walked out when the “Murder On My Mind” artist blew a kiss.

On Thursday (June 15), the prosecution called Melly’s ex-girlfriend’s mother to the stand. During her testimony, the woman made it abundantly clear that she wasn’t feeling entirely comfortable speaking about the incident, but doesn’t want to lie on the stand and go to jail as a result. “I’m saying what you want me to say,” the witness stated earlier this afternoon. “I do remember that they bullied me and threatened my daughter,” she specifically noted of the law enforcement they dealt with after the murders of YNW Juvy and YNW SakChaser.

When asked how she was feeling on the stand, Melly’s ex’s mother replied, “Not good… I feel threatened.” Upon spotting the Florida-born rapper in the courtroom she smiled at him, according to Twitter reports from correspondent Cathy Russon. “To be clear… She doesn’t want to be there testifying for the State,” the journalist added in another post while covering today’s proceedings.

Elsewhere in the news, celebrity attorney Bradford Cohen (who was previously representing YNW Melly in the ongoing murder trial) shared his thoughts on the case so far. Earl Sweatshirt Drops New Track “Making The Band (Danity Kane)”

Earl Sweatshirt has dropped off a new track today, titled “Making The Band (Danity Kane).” The song is his first solo release since his 2022 LP, SICK! It features production from Surf Gang’s Evilgiane, who also recently worked alongside Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem on “The Hillbillies.” Evilgiane released a version of the track on Soundcloud a few months ago, also featuring production from Clams Casino.

Earl Sweatshirt released his fourth studio album, SICK!, in January of last year. The 2022 LP featured collaborations with Zelooperz, Armand Hammer, and more. The album featured production from Black Noi$e, The Alchemist, and Ancestors. It also featured themes surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. “The pandemic pointed me to the necessity of there being some rhythmic backbone,” he told Pitchfork in 2022, “I had to use some drums, because you can’t be floating right now.”

Earl Sweatshirt “Feels Like Diddy” On His New Song

Mellow, witty bars meet a minimal beat to define the new track. The song also references Diddy’s 2000s MTV reality series by the same name. “Making The Band (Danity Kane)” is also accompanied by a new music video, which was directed and edited by Hidji World and YGA.

The new track also follows Earl Sweatshirt’s 2019 seven-song EP, Feet of Clay. He released a deluxe edition of the project in 2020, adding two new tracks to the EP. He released his third studio album, Some Rap Songs, in November of 2018. The LP features notable contributions from Navy Blue, Standing on the Corner, and more. His debut, Earl, was produced mostly by Tyler, the Creator, and also featured the single “Whoa” alongside the rapper. Though fans aren’t sure when they can expect to hear a new album from Earl Sweatshirt, they’re certainly pumped about his latest song.

Sukihana Receives Apology From YK Osiris For “Misreading” Situation

Sukihana has expressed her emotional distress and the need to take a break. This comes after a video surfaced of YK Osiris forcibly kissing her at The Crew League event in Atlanta. Osiris has faced widespread condemnation for his actions online, with many accusing him of sexual assault. Now, Sukihana has deleted her Twitter account. However, The Shade Room captured some tweets she made regarding the incident before she removed them and deleted her account.

In one tweet, Sukihana stated that she felt hurt and scared to stand up for herself. She followed up with another tweet mentioning that she drinks to conceal her sensitivity. “I drink to hide that I’m very sensitive. I feel things more then the average person,” the rapper wrote. The rapper then wrote that she had stopped drinking the day prior and had been crying the entire day. YK Osiris Responds To The Outrage Over Behavior With Sukihana

After an online outcry that was impossible to ignore, YK Osiris has made a public apology to Sukihana for his behavior. Earlier tonight (June 14), he took to Instagram to post his feelings on the matter and try to mend things. “I want to publicly offer my sincerest apology to Sukihana. In an attempt to be playful, I misread the moment and violated Sukihana’s boundaries,” Osiris said. “I understand the importance of consent and I am embarrassed by my behavior.” He went on to say that he has the “utmost respect” for Sukihana and that it was never his intention to disrespect her.

YK Osiris’ apology comes after many stood up for Sukihana online. Amber Rose made a particularly moving post about the matter. “Are we really going to sit back and let this happen to Sukihana??? Doja cited her ADHD as a factor in her changing her mind on the title various times. Insider asked the performer how she comes up with her album titles, to which she replied, “Good God. I don’t know.” She went on to reveal, “I put my ADHD kind of on display — by accident, I guess.”
