There was excitement in the air when Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III came together for a brawl last month. Of course, the professional fighters weren’t the only ones in the building who put their hands on each other. Reality stars Joseline Hernandez and Big Lex also got into an altercation that resulted in the former being arrested on battery charges. Today (July 11), TMZ released body cam footage from the moment police attempted to detain her. Needless to say, it doesn’t paint Joseline in a very flattering light.

The Puerto Rican’s anger was still running rampant by the time Sunrise PD authorities arrived. Hernandez was quick to go after them with verbal and physical attacks. She made it abundantly clear that she wasn’t comfortable with being touched by any white men. From there, things only became more chaotic. The 36-year-old threw her phone at a man in the room attempting to calm her down. It’s been speculated that he’s the same voice who called Lex a “d*mb a** b**ch” when her and Joseline’s spat broke out.

As cops stepped in to de-escalate that drama, the multi-talent shoved one of them. YNW Melly’s Friend Testifies That Rapper Switched Clothing Before Going To Fredo Bang’s House

YNW Melly is back in court today (July 10). The latest prosecution witness to take the stand is the Florida native’s friend, Treveon Glass. As Yahoo News reports, Glass was in the same recording studio as Jamell Demons and the two men he’s been accused of killing (YNW Juvy and YNW SakChaser) on the night of their deaths. While on the stand he recalled watching the trio get into a Jeep and drive away together. Hours later, word of Melly’s associates’ deaths began circulating. This is when Glass says he saw the 23-year-old at fellow rapper Fredo Bang’s house.

The outfit the “Murder on My Mind” rapper wore when leaving the studio was different than the one he had on at Bang’s, the witness told the court this afternoon. Elsewhere in his testimony, Glass confirmed Melly’s identity in a video that shows him entering the driver’s seat of the vehicle where Juvy and SakChaser tragically lost their lives. When his friends left the studio, Treveon says he and a group went to Demons’ home in Miramar. Here he fell asleep around the same time that prosecutors claim the embattled rapper killed his friends.

To this day, the gun used to shoot Juvy and SakChaser hasn’t been recovered. Melly’s defense lawyers maintain that he wasn’t in the vehicle when the killings took place. However, phone data shows that at least his mobile device was. The jury was recently prohibited from seeing the Jeep first-hand before making their decision, which is likely weighing heavy on their minds as the young recording artist is eligible for the death penalty.

At the same time as YNW Melly’s friend was testifying against him, fans at home have been placing online bets on his double murder trial’s verdict. Black Thought says that The Notorious B.I.G. thought The Roots dissed him after the release of the group’s “What They Do” music video. He discussed Biggie’s reaction to the visual during a recent interview on People’s Party With Talib Kweli, which they recorded at The Roots Picnic.

“Nah, we weren’t dissing, first of all, I mean gangsta rap, what is that?” Black Thought said on the show. “Capone-N-Noreaga, I wouldn’t consider that gangsta rap. But, everything that was taking place during that point in time in music, had become so predictable. We did that song, and then ultimately the video, just as a satire.”

From there, he explained that artists who were operating in that vein “probably felt a way,” but said it was intended as comedy. He continued: “We absolutely didn’t intend for anybody to take offense, but there was one scene in that video where the director dropped me into a duplicate of a scene from somebody else’s video and it was a B.I.G. joint. So B.I.G., he really was offended by what they do, like by the video. He was rocking with the song, and then he saw the video and was devastated because he was a huge Roots fan. ‘Silent Treatment’ was his shit.”

“When I met B.I.G., he busted out [and] started singing ‘Silent Treatment.’ Junior M.A.F.I.A., Lil Kim, anybody that was B.I.G. adjacent or associated always was really supportive of The Roots. So, when that joint came out, he was hurt. He felt like we was sort of dissing him, after we bigged him up. That was one of the things that sorta came from that whole, ‘What They Do,’ and it was wild because we were living in London by the time it came out, so we never got a chance to resolve the issue, at least not face to face.”
