Tyler, The Creator Dominates Latest “Fire Emoji” Update

Tyler, The Creator secured three of the seven new tracks added to this week’s edition of HotNewHipHop’s Fire Emoji playlist. The songs derive from the deluxe version of his latest album, Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale. Other artists to land spots on the newest Fire Emoji include Gucci Mane, Quavo, Nardo Wick, and more.

With Tyler, The Creator, his tracks, “DOGTOOTH,” “STUNTMAN,” and “WHARF TALK” cracked the list. On the latter two songs, Tyler teams up with Vince Staples and A$AP Rocky respectively. The original version of Call Me If You Get Lost released back in June 2021. It went on to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album, marking Tyler’s second time winning the category.

Moving past Tyler, Quavo contributed to the playlist with his new song, “Honey Bun.” On the track, he alludes to the death of his Migos partner, Takeoff. “I don’t wanna hear no sorry for my loss,” he raps. He also promoted “Honey Bun” with the hashtag “#ForTake.” Takeoff was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley back in November. In the months since, both Quavo and Offset have been mourning the late rapper.

With Gucci Mane’s contribution, he teamed up with DaBaby and 21 Savage for the song, “06 Gucci.” “I feel like it’s me in ’06 and ’07, ’08, and even ’09/ Still hard to kill, the last n***a tried, go ask him, he didn’t survive,” he raps on the song. For the accompanying music video, he recreated several iconic looks from projects like The Trap House and the video “My Kitchen.” For Nardo Wick’s part, he collaborated with Lil Baby for “Hot Boy.” Larry June’s “Summer Reign” featuring “Ty Dolla $ign” also lands on the playlist.

In recent weeks, Juice WRLD’s posthumous single, “The Light,” made the cut, as well as multiple songs off of JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown’s recent collaborative album, Scaring The Hoes. Check out the latest edition of Fire Emoji below.

Twitter Reacts To Jonathan Majors Texts, Many Think Lawyers Are Making Him Look Guilty

As March began, Jonathan Majors was feeling on top of the world, thanks to the arrival of two huge projects – Ant-Man: Quantimania and Creed III – which he worked incredibly hard on. Following the latter’s highly anticipated premiere, he and co-star/director Michael B. Jordan enjoyed their time in the spotlight, consistently making fans laugh (and swoon) with their antics. Unfortunately for the 33-year-old, things quickly came crashing down last weekend when he was arrested and charged with assault, among other things.

Since he was taken into custody, Majors’ legal team has vehemently denied any wrongdoing on his part. On Thursday (March 30), the defence shared screenshots of texts between the actor and his alleged victim, seemingly attempting to prove his innocence. However, as many social media users are pointing out, it could be argued that the receipts only make the accused attacker look more guilty. “Please let me know you’re okay when you get this,” one of the messages begins. They assured me that you won’t be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight.”

Jonathan Majors’ Attorney Unveils Alleged Texts

The anonymous woman went on to say that she was angered over the situation, and “will make sure nothing happens about this.” Aside from her lengthy paragraphs, the only words that came from Majors’ phone were “Did you leave the keys?” and “Goodbye, [redacted].” While they don’t exactly prove or disprove anything at this point, social media is having a field day reacting to the investigation’s latest update.

“Jonathan Majors’ lawyer really woke up and was like, ‘Let’s put out evidence that the girl did pass out and collapse and maybe people won’t ask how that happened if she says she grabbed his phone,’” one Twitter user quipped this morning. “You have to be the dumbest lawyer alive to think releasing texts from your client’s victim that have her taking the blame for injuries she received from him are evidence of his innocence instead of one of the clearest signs of domestic violence and an abusive relationship,” someone else wrote. 42 Dugg’s Prison Statement: “I Guess ‘Cause I’m Turnt I Gotta Go Through The Worst!!!”

Just a few days ago, fans of 42 Dugg were sad to find out that he’s facing up to five more years in prison. The rapper previously plead guilty to his charges of failure to surrender earlier this month. On Tuesday (March 28), he gave a brief update on his situation via his Instagram Story. “A lot of these n*ggas got get out jail free cards,” he ranted with white text written over a black screen. “I guess ’cause I’m turnt I gotta go through the worst!!!!!”

To conclude his message, Dugg wrote, “Death Before Dishonour, #FREEDEMBOYZ.” It remains unclear exactly who he was referring to getting “get out of jail free cards,” though he’s obviously carrying some resentment over the ongoing situation. On top of his additional time served, the 28-year-old could have to pay a hefty $250K fine, though that won’t be known for sure until a later date.

As XXL reports, Dugg was arrested in March 2020 as a part of a federal gun probe. Later that same year, he was convicted of felony possession of a firearm, and sentenced to six months at a federal West Virginia prison camp. The Detroit native’s sentence was scheduled to begin on April 12, 2022, but he ultimately failed to show up. That May, he was taken into custody by federal agents at an airport in his hometown.

At first, 42 Dugg plead not guilty, claiming sovereign citizenship which would exempt him from complying with federal law. While he surely felt confident in his defence, the court did not, resulting in the “Maybach” hitmaker’s recent plea. Five years being added to his sentence would obviously be the worst-case scenario, but it’s worth noting that the court is recommending six months for his failure to surrender. The next time we’ll see the recording artist in court is on May 10 for his sentencing hearing. Andrew Tate Jail Update: Podcaster Reportedly Eating “Stone Cold Food” With Insects In His Cell

When Andrew Tate was arrested in Romania during the final days of 2022, the podcaster certainly think he’d still be behind bars three months later. He’s managed to continue sending messages out to his fanbase via Twitter. They’ve mainly been regularly updating followers on the allegedly horrible conditions he’s facing while awaiting his trial. Most recently, the embattled media personality is claiming that the excess presence of bugs in his cell is preventing him from being able to consume all of his food.

According to a recent tweet, Tate receives his meals three times a day – at 8 AM, noon, and 5 PM. “I have a plastic bag I use to try and protect the food from insects. I spend my entire day destroying the flies and ants who get close to the meal,” he explained. “In accordance [with] Ramadan, when the sun goes down, I eat the stone cold food in my cell by myself.” On Monday (March 27), the 36-year-old returned with an update on his situation. “Today I lost 30% of my calories to insects. Tomorrow the battle begins again,” he vented.

Andrew Tate Updates Concerned Fans

As Mirror reports, Andrew and his brother, Tristan Tate, were detained for an additional 30 days earlier this week. At the time, a spokesperson for the siblings said, “We have been rendered speechless by the news. The interaction with the judge was extremely dynamic and the brothers were offered for the first time the opportunity to present all legal guarantees that they are not a flight risk.” They also added, “They are the first ones who want light to be shed on this case.”

“The substantial material damages they have suffered are nothing compared to the moral ones. Their image has been irreparably harmed and it will take years to rebuild the reputation, trust and connection with the general public,” the official statement ended. At this time, Romanian prosecutors remain under the impression that Andrew Tate and his brother, as well as two other suspects, were part of an organized crime group “with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content.” Make sure to check back later for any updates on the investigation.
