Kid Cudi is going to be dropping a new album called INSANO this year. Overall, fans have been waiting on the album for a while. However, despite a planned release date of September 15th, it ultimately got pushed back. Now, the album is set to contain upwards of 40 songs. Furthermore, there are going to be features from the biggest artists in hip-hop. Needless to say, this is going to be a project that serves the fans who have stuck by Cudi for years.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few Cudi haters out there. For instance, one person took to Twitter to reference his iconic SNL performance where he wore a dress. This was meant as a tribute to Kurt Cobain. However, the person below claimed it was some sort of “Illuminati humiliation ritual.” Cudi saw this comment and decided to clap back. Overall, it was an eloquent response that showcases just how deeply Cudi thinks about the ways in which he expresses himself.

Lil Yachty took issue with a user on Twitter’s criticism of him, in which they labeled him a “cheater,” and “colorist,” while claiming he “won’t change his daughter’s own diaper.” In making their argument, the user cited Yachty’s “The Secret Recipe.” In the song, he raps: “They say I got a type/ Said all my hoes they look the same, they said they look too light.” They also used an interview from October 2022 in which Yachty joked about not changing his daughter’s diaper.

“Man, y’all have to touch grass. There was no cheating,” he said in response. “I am not a colorist in any shape or form. I have changed my daughter’s diaper — it was simply a troll, I do not post my daughter because I do not owe you people that. Everything isn’t meant for social media. Y’all be losers.” He continued in another post: “Just cuz y’all post every second of your life, doesn’t mean I have to. I never cared for any of y’all’s opinions on my child. Metro Boomin Says He’s Dropping 3 Albums In 2024

Metro Boomin has confirmed that he plans on releasing three separate projects in 2024. He revealed his goal for the new year while responding to a fan on Twitter, on Sunday. Metro wrote: “2023 was great but just watch what I do 2024!!!!!,” which prompted the fan to ask how many albums they can expect. The producer responded: “3 at the very least.”

Metro has teased having multiple collaborative projects in the works, including with Future and more recently, Zaytoven. He and Future have been promoting their album for many months at this point. On December 23, Future confirmed that it’s “on the way” in a post on social media. They’re yet to provide further details as to a title or a release date.

Freddie Gibbs called out DJ Akademiks for being a “rapist ass b*tch” on Twitter, Sunday, amid allegations that the podcaster and two of his friends sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend. The woman, Ziya Abashae, came forward with the story on Instagram Live, Saturday, after Akademiks detailed her having a “three-some” with his friends.

“Let the disrespect be as loud as the disrespect,” Gibbs wrote on social media. In more posts, he added, “@Akademiks quiet as a church mouse today happy new year U rapist ass b*tch,” as well as “Hoe ass n***a I’mma come to court and slap U.”

To close out 2023, it looks like we finally have somewhat of a resolution to one of the year’s most rumored, subliminal, and surprising beefs. Moreover, you’ve definitely heard by now that Metro Boomin and Drake, according to many fans, threw shots at each other in recent times. This stemmed from the former complaining that the latter’s Her Loss won in rap album categories in award shows and rankings over Metro’s HEROES & VILLAINS. Then, the 6ix God seemed to respond in a Stake stream, and more cryptic social media activity had fans crafting theories and connecting presumed dots. But according to the St. Louis native, people took this way too far.

Furthermore, he recently spent some time answering fan questions on Twitter, as he’s usually very active on the platform. Specifically, Metro Boomin chose to indulge one listener’s inquiry about the supposed Drake beef and put an end to the rumors. “Are u and Drake seriously beefing or is it not that deep,” the user asked him. “Not deep at all lmao,” the 30-year-old replied. While he said it’s not deep, he technically didn’t say it was nonexistent, so fans will surely keep making assumptions despite this shutdown. Last month, he argued that hip-hop is in a “terrible place” during an interview at Rolling Stone‘s “Musicians on Musicians” event in Brooklyn, New York. “Hip-hop is in a terrible place,” Yachty said, as noted by Complex. “The state of hip-hop right now is a lot of imitation. It’s a lot of quick, low-quality music being put out.” He continued: “It’s a lot less risk-taking, it’s a lot less originality. People are too safe now. Everyone is so safe. I rather take the risk than take the L.” Many fans on social media and media pundits alike took issue with the remarks.
