Jacquees Shuts Down Rumor That He Got Beaten Up By Trey Songz

Jacquees and Trey Songz haven’t always had the best relationship. Despite working in the same genre, and catering to the same fan base, the two men have often had disagreements. Jacquees boldly called Trey Songz a “rapist” during a heated IG video February. The video came on the heels of an alleged fight between Jacquees and Songz at a night club. The former decided to expand on what happened during a recent appearance on the Off the Record podcast. He was less heated, but he maintained that he did not lose the fight in question.

Jacquees told DJ Akademiks that he actually has love for Trey Songz, and does not hold any grudges towards the R&B singer despite their past issues. “Trey Songz is my brother I love him to life,” he stated. “I don’t say I love you to death because that means you love them until they die.” The R&B singer added that he was frustrated by the physical confrontation they had, and simply vented his frustrations online without thinking. “We got into a fight, I went online bro because I was hurt,” he asserted. “That was our first fight and I was really hurt because I’ve been around Trey since I was 15-16 and I never expected us to fight physically.”

Jacquees Claims That He Won The Trey Songz Fight

DJ Akademiks decided to take the conversation into a slightly more sensationalized direction. He asked whether Trey Songz won the fight, or if Jacquees got the best of him. Jacquees was initially hesitant to provide details, noting that he did not want to fight to begin with. “Verbally is different than a physical fight,” he noted. Akademiks pushed for a direct answer, and Jacquees eventually gave it to him. “I won,” he said. “I won the fight.” To add insult to injury, Jacquees claimed that Trey Songz tried to pull his hair during their fight. “He pulled my hair,” the singer asserted. “[But] he didn’t beat the dreads out of sh*t.”

In an effort to downplay the fight, however, Jacquees claimed that the virality of the situation was his own doing. “That was a family fight,” he noted. “It should’ve never got public…. I put the family on blast. You never put the family on blast.” DJ Akademiks tried to push once more, and ask whether the decision to fight Songz stemmed from a Napoleon complex, but Jacquees refused to take the bait. He remained steadfast in the fact that he handled himself and apologized for what he felt he did wrong.

Trey Songz Scrapped Tyga Music Video Due To Lack Of Black Representation

Trey Songz surprised fans on June 25. The R&B singer posted clips from an unreleased music video starring him and Tyga. He also shared the explanation for why the video never saw the light of day. It wasn’t due to any tension with Tyga, or complications with record labels. In fact, everybody but Trey Songz was onboard with releasing the video. The singer told his followers that the reason he chose to scrap the collaboration was because of who was cast in the video. Or more specifically, who wasn’t.

Songz was put off by the fact that the music video did not have a lot of black female representation. “Archives,” he confirmed in the caption. “I scrapped this video cause it wasn’t enough Black women in it. In Spain last time somebody called me n***er didn’t feel right [shrug shoulders emoticon].” Songz made it clear that there were no hard feelings between him and Tyga. “Song cold tho,” he added. “Traw my dawg @tyga.” While the sentiment was well-received, and even praised by some, most of the users in Trey Songz’s comment section criticized him for his reasoning.

Trey Songz Was Criticized By Social Media Users

“Yall be in America avoiding black women,” one user wrote. “But gone record a video in a country where there really ain’t none and try to make a spectacle about it. Leave us out of it.” Another user took Songz to task for his making this decision after he shot the video. “It’s him thinking we are silly enough to fall for this nonsense,” they noted. “Sir, you saw that when you filmed the video. But ok…” Several users posited that Trey Songz was trying to appeal to his female audience, given the string of accusations that’ve been made against him recently.

In April, Songz settled a $25 million lawsuit out of court. The woman who filed the suit, Jane Doe, stated that the singer sexually assaulted her at a Los Angeles party in 2016. This suit came only months after a different woman accused Songz of assaulting her at his Los Angeles home in 2015. The singer has not publicly addressed the accusations. He did, however, post a cryptic message on Instagram shortly after the $25 million lawsuit was filed. “Lies will never be the truth,” he wrote. “No matter who chooses to believe such. Alhamdulillah.”

Woman Accuses Trey Songz Of Assaulting Her Friend At A Club

Diddy was not the only mainstream artist who was accused of assault on May 21. Trey Songz was also named as the perpetrator of a sexual assault that took place an undisclosed amount of time ago. The R&B superstar was not formally charged with a crime, however, as the accusation came from a social media user who claimed to be a friend of the alleged victim.

The accusation against Trey Songz actually spawned a previous accusation made against the singer. Winter Blanco accused him of sexually assaulting her during a March 2024 appearance on Behind the Likes. The woman who came forward this latest accusation quote tweeted Blanco’s interview and used it as the jumping off point for the assault her friend allegedly experienced. “I’ll never forget Trey Songz was mad drunk and lit in booby,” the user @imdrinaa wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Trey Songz Allegedly Forced Himself On A Clubgoer

The user then claimed that the singer forced himself upon her friend (who is not named). “He sexually assaulted my friend by making out with her. She was in such freeze mode because she didn’t know him at all.” The account turned even more harrowing with specific details of what Trey Songz allegedly did. “Wasn’t even no flirting going on. He just randomly turned around and kissed her ending it by spitting in her mouth. She was so disgusted she left the section with her money on the floor.” The user added that her friend got a tonsil infection shortly after the encounter.

@Imdrinaa concluded her statement by noting that charges were never filed. “Never reported it though,” she wrote. There were some X followers who were skeptical of the lack of detail surrounding the incident, but others believed it on the basis of Songz’s reputation. Three separate women accused the singer of sexually assaulting them between 2016 and 2021. Trey Songz has denied all accusations, and has never been formally charged. Las Vegas police dropped the most recent sexual assault investigation in April 2022, with the caveat that it could be reopened with new evidence.

Celina Powell’s Wildest Stories—From Trey Songz To Tory Lanez

In entertainment, scandal and controversy are never in short supply. There’s always a new headline, whether real or fake, about one celebrity or the other. Over the years, one of the people who have gone viral for having the wildest stories is the infamous personality, Celina Powell. The OnlyFans model is renowned for her audacious claims and incriminating allegations.

Recently, Powell made headlines yet again for allegedly being in a relationship with Love is Blind star Clay Gravesande. While the news is surprising to some, it’s certainly not the most shocking headline Powell has been attached to. In the past, the model has made claims against several celebrities, including Trey Songz and Tory Lanez, among others. Here’s a list of five of the wildest stories Celina Powell has shared about celebrities.

Trey Songz

Celina Powell has been telling damning stories about Trey Songz for a while now. On August 29, 2019, she uploaded a video on her YouTube channel where she alleged that she had been kidnapped by the singer. Subsequently, when she was interviewed in a No Jumper episode in 2020, she corroborated her friend’s tale which accused him of sexual misconduct. Aliza, Powell’s friend who was also being interviewed, claimed that Songz peed on her. “He took my phone and my purse away for like a whole day, held it over the balcony, and was like, ‘B**tch, if you try to leave, I will drop this s*it,’” Aliza added.

Afterwards, Trey Songz made a series of posts on X, denying the allegations. However, that was not the end of it all. Since then, Celina Powell doubled down on the Trey Songz stories, insisting she made none of it up. On several occasions, she has recounted the tale of when the singer allegedly held her against her will and forced himself on her.

Snoop Dogg

In July 2018, Celina Powell caused an internet uproar with one of her wildest stories ever. In a video uploaded on her YouTube channel, she accused Snoop of cheating on his wife with her. She described their alleged sexual encounter, claiming that they had unprotected sex and that, at intervals, Snoop Dogg would stop to snort cocaine from her chest. After the story broke out, it brought unwanted attention to the rapper and his family. As a matter of fact, word circulated that Shante Broadus was considering divorce. However, that never happened, fortunately for the rapper. He publicly apologized to his wife, even addressing the issue on the remix of Problem’s “Don’t Be Mad at Me” track.

G Herbo

During an interview with Adam22 in 2019, Celina Powell shared stories about her purported escapades with rappers. One of the names she mentioned in her talk was G Herbo. She started off the tale talking about their sexual encounter. However, the story eventually moved in a surprising direction. After their fling, G Herbo had a show to play, and Powell attended, but eventually had to leave following a minor altercation with another lady. She claimed that she returned to Herbo’s hotel room with a friend after leaving the show. There, she allegedly robbed the rapper of his belongings. “His passport was there, all of his money was there, all his clothes was there. I was like, ‘You know what? Let’s do it. F*ck it. We jacked all of his sh*t,” she told Adam22.

Offset

Without a doubt, the story Celina Powell cooked up about Offset is among the wildest stories she’s ever concocted. In 2018, Powell shared a video where she claimed that she was pregnant. As if that wasn’t enough news on its own, she went further to claim that the father of the alleged unborn child was Offset. At the time, Cardi B was pregnant with Offset’s child, so this news was pretty scandalous. It was made even worse when Powell shared another video, alleging that Offset offered her $50,000 to abort the pregnancy. However, Powell later admitted she lied about the news during a Twitch session with DJ Akademiks.

Tory Lanez

In May 2020, Celina Powell was allegedly assaulted, and named Tory Lanez in her police report. According to Powell’s report, Tory Lanez confronted her while she was outside his Miami condo, and tried to grab her phone. During their alleged scuffle, she claimed that she tried to get away. However, she was allegedly attacked from behind by a woman named Kaylin Garcia, who she claimed yanked her to the ground. Powell told cops that Lanez and Garcia drove off after the altercation, and that she blacked out during the assault. Furthermore, she claimed that when she eventually woke up, she was badly bruised.

Trey Songz Settles $25 Million Lawsuit: What We Know

In the last decade or so, Trey Songz has been attached to one lawsuit or the other.  The R&B singer has found himself caught in an endless series of legal battles over the past few years. It won’t be a stretch to say that these allegations have all but overshadowed his music career. The most recent of these, a lawsuit from two years ago was recently settled out of court and probably cost Trey Songz an ample sum of money.

What Did Trey Songz Do?

News of the lawsuit against Trey Songz first broke in February 2022. A woman, identified in court documents as “Jane Doe,” stepped forward with allegations against the “I Invented Sex” singer. She claimed that Trey Songz had allegedly sexually assaulted her at a party in 2016. This reportedly set off a chain of events that would unfold over the next few years before she eventually decided to sue.

In the lawsuit, she admitted having a consensual relationship with Trey Songz before the incident. According to her report, Songz invited her to his room upstairs at a house party in Los Angeles. Soon after, he allegedly proceeded to coerce her into having anal sex with him. However, when she kept turning him down, Songz allegedly became angry and got physically aggressive. Specifically, she alleged that Songz pinned her to the ground, tore off her clothes, and committed the act even as she pleaded with him to stop. The suit also included reports of a sexual assault exam conducted on the woman at an Emergency Care Unit in Burbank.

But his abuse didn’t end there that night. Jane Doe also revealed that she had crossed paths with Trey Songz again in New York. She insists that she was subjected to further humiliation from the singer. According to her, Songz had resorted to name-calling and had even sicced his security guards on her.

The Lawsuit Against Trey Songz

At first, it seemed as if Trey Songz would be left off scot-free as Jane Doe’s initial $20 million civil lawsuit hit a snag. His legal team argued that the claim had exceeded the statute of limitations. However, the woman in question refused to back down. She came back swinging again in 2023, upping the settlement costs to $25 million, and doubling down on her accusations. Additionally, she filed a lawsuit against Trey Songz’s manager Kevin Liles.

As the news emerged, the public couldn’t help but weigh in. Trey’s fans, loyal to the core, struggled to reconcile the image of their favorite heartthrob with the troubling allegations swirling around him. Meanwhile, skeptics and gossip mongers had a field day dissecting every detail of the scandal, and how the allegations tie in so well with other assault allegations brought against him in the past.

Other Allegations

Trey Songz has been accused of sexual and physical assault on and off since at least 2012. In fact, at the time of the first lawsuit in 2022, Trey Songz was facing allegations from two different women. One of the allegations was from a woman identified as Jahaura Jeffries. This concerned a 2018 New Years Eve party incident that took place at rapper Diddy’s home on Star Island.

Some of these allegations have also come from women in the public eye. The popular actress Keke Palmer has been vocal about her run-in with Songz in the past. She accused him of sexual harassment and intimidation in 2017 after he used a video clip she did not consent to recording in his music video for “Pick Up The Phone.” Palmer also claimed that she had to hide in a closet when his attempts allegedly began to get aggressive. WNBA player Dylan Gonzalez also came out in January 2022 to accuse Songz of allegedly assaulting her in a Las Vegas hotel.

The Settlement

Trey Songz’s legal team reached out to the courts not long after conditionally settling the lawsuit out of court. This occurred in April for an undisclosed amount. The legal document, as reported by Radar Online, read: “The settlement agreement conditions dismissal of this matter on the satisfactory completion of specified terms that are not to be performed within 45 days of the date of the settlement. A request for dismissal will be filed no later than June 10, 2024.” This means that the trial date which had previously been set for September 16, 2024 will now be vacated.

Trey Songz Settles Sexual Assault Lawsuit Before Trial

Trey Songz is Being Sued by Female Fan for Alleged Attack.

Five years ago, R&B singer Trey Songz found himself embroiled in controversy when he was hit with a $25 million civil lawsuit filed by a Jane Doe, accusing him of sexually assaulting her at a 2016 house party. Now, after years of legal battles, Trey Songz has opted to settle the case before it reaches the courtroom.

According to reports from Radar Online, the woman who accused Trey Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, of sexual assault has reached a settlement with the singer. The settlement comes as another court victory for Trey Songz, putting an end to the prolonged legal dispute.

Court documents obtained by Radar Online reveal that Trey Songz informed the court of the settlement, stating that the conditional agreement will lead to the dismissal of the case upon the satisfactory completion of specified terms. These terms are to be fulfilled within 45 days of the settlement date, with a request for dismissal expected to be filed no later than June 10, 2024.

Although the lawsuit initially demanded $25 million in damages, the terms of the settlement remain undisclosed. The resolution of the case means that the trial date, which had been set for September 16, 2024, will now be vacated.

The decision to settle the lawsuit brings closure to a chapter of legal turmoil for Trey Songz, who has faced allegations of sexual misconduct in the past. While the specifics of the settlement agreement remain private, the resolution of the case marks a significant development in the ongoing saga surrounding Trey Songz’s legal battles.

In 2017, Keke Palmer spoke out about Trey Songz. She claimed he used “sexual intimidation” to coerce her into being in a music video. Palmer was at the singer’s house for a party when they began filming a music video for his song, “Pick Up The Phone.” Palmer found out that a clip of her had been featured in the video after its release, even after she had denied consent to being in the video multiple times. Jacquees Claims That Trey Songz Is Guilty Of Everything He’s Accused Of

Trey Songz is currently facing a variety of pretty serious allegations. That includes a variety of sexual assault and even rape allegations. Earlier this week, Jacquees took to social medial with a now-deleted post. In the post he didn’t hold anything back. During a profanity-laced rant he called Songz a rapist directly. “I want the world to know this b*tch ass n**** Trey Songz is a b*tch. This n**** came in the club talking ‘bout rape. F*ck you talking ‘bout rape for b*tch ass n****? Then you come outside the club and swing on your little brother. You’s a b*tch,” he said in the video. At the end of the post he banned Songz from coming to Atlanta at all.

Now in a newly shared video he’s doubling down on his claims. In a much more reserved statement, he brings religious values into the mix. While proclaiming his own path as righteous he makes that claim that Trey Songz is guilty of everything he’s being accused of. The post got a variety of responses from fans processing just how sweeping the accusations really are. Check out the new video of Jacquees’ most recent claims below.

Jacquees Calls Trey Songz Guilty Of Everything

Though the allegations against Trey Songz are pretty extensive he did just score a recent win in the courts. A lawsuit filed over a groping incident in 2013 was dismissed after the accuser and her legal team failed to respond to a motion from Trey. It’s hardly a clear path for the singer going forward through the legal system though.

Throughout last year Trey Songz legal team fought against all the lawsuits against him. They filed numerous requests to get suits thrown out, though they didn’t do much to clear his legal troubles. What do you think of Jacquees’ claim that Trey Songz is guilty of everything he’s been accused of. Do you think the claim makes you more likely to believe the accusations made against Trey?
