Trey Songz Was Sued By Two Women For Sexual Assault At A House Party

R&B star Trey Songz is again being accused of sexual assault. According to TMZ, the singer is the subject of a lawsuit filed by two women for an alleged incident in 2015 in which they say he forced himself on them without consent after they passed out during a house party at his LA-area estate.

The women say they met the singer at one of his concerts and were invited to an afterparty, then maintained contact with him, leading to an invite to his home for his birthday party in August 2015. They say they fear they were drugged after being pressured to drink alcohol and feeling immediately intoxicated despite only consuming a “moderate” amount.

Songz allegedly led them to an upstairs bedroom where they passed out with their clothes on. However, according to their lawsuit, they woke up naked, with a naked Trey Songz, who demanded they take a shower with him and tried to initiate sex with them, performing oral on one and forcing his fingers into the other’s vagina.

The women are suing for damages, saying they’ve suffered lasting injuries, while Trey Songz’s attorney issued the following statement to TMZ:

“This is yet another example of nearly decade-old allegations being repurposed to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look back window. We look forward to vindicating Trey on the merits in court.”

Of course, this is not the first time Songz has been accused of similar behavior. In January 2022, former collegiate basketball player and social media influencer Dylan Gonzalez accused Trey of raping her, although a lack of evidence led Las Vegas Police to dismiss any criminal charges, while another woman sued the singer for an alleged 2016 incident, but the case was dismissed when a legal representative failed to issue a timely response to Trey’s defense.

Trey Songz Faces New Lawsuit Over Alleged Sexual Assault At Party

Content Warning: This article contains descriptions of sexual assault that some readers might find disturbing.

Two women filed a lawsuit against Trey Songz over allegations of sexual assault at a house party. According to TMZ, Trey Songz, who faces numerous allegations related to assault, allegedly forced himself on two women while they slept at his home in the Los Angeles area during his birthday party. They said they first met Songz in June 2015 after meeting at a concert and subsequently, receiving an invitation to the after-party. Ultimately, they kept in contact, leading Trey to invite the two of them to his home for the birthday celebration.

However, the lawsuit details the moments leading up to the assault. Both women said they had to hand over their phones and the password to enter the party. Things got even more shady afterward, they claimed, revealing that there were mostly women at the party who were drinking from unsealed bottles. The women believed someone drugged them, claiming they felt intoxicated after drinking a small amount. Trey reportedly led them to a room where they passed out, fully clothed. They said once they woke up, Trey was naked and allegedly forcing himself on them, even as they tried to push him off.

The lawsuit added that Trey demanded that they shower with him after he allegedly forced himself on them while they were sleeping. The women said they refused, leading him to angrily state, “You are little f***king girls, get the f**k out of my house.” However, they alleged that once they tried to leave, Trey refused to turn over their phones. Fortunately, a security guard intervened, retrieved their phones from a safe and got them in an Uber.

Michael Freedman, Trey Songz’s attorney, denied that there’s any truth to these allegations in response to the lawsuit. “This is yet another example of nearly decade-old allegations being repurposed to take advantage of California’s constitutionally questionable new look back window. We look forward to vindicating Trey on the merits in court,” Freedman told TMZ. We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding the lawsuit.

Trey Songz Sings SZA’s “Snooze,” Social Media Isn’t Feeling It: Watch

Unfortunately for Trey Songz and his fans, when the R&B artist makes headlines, they’re not often flattering. The last time we reported on him was in July, at which time he requested his sexual assault case be thrown out amid claims of bribery coming forward. Things have been relatively quiet on his part since then, however, a video of the embattled entertainer covering a SZA song hit the internet earlier this month. While Songz has given us some huge hits in the past, many think that he missed the mark with his edition of “Snooze.”

“I can’t lose when I’m with you,” the 38-year-old sings to the audience with a smile on his face. As they repeat the lyrics back to him, it’s evident that at least a few people in the crowd were feeling Trey’s vocals. On social media, however, the comment section on @theneighborhoodtalk’s post regarding the situation is mostly filled with negativity. “Mary had a little lamb a** ni**a 😂,” one person joked of the “Bottoms Up” hitmaker’s attempt to channel SZA’s vocal acrobatics.

Trey Songz’s SZA Cover Misses the Mark

“Why he tryna sing it like her? Rookie mistake Tremaine. Sing It your way,” another user advised the multi-talent. Many noted that it’s been quite some time since Trey last shared a song of his own with R&B lovers. In 2022 he collaborated with Peter Jackson on “Mountain Valley,” but he hasn’t given us an album since 2020’s Back Home. Arguably his last major hit was 2015’s “Slow Motion,” though some are unsure if he’ll ever have a comeback due to the allegations he’s facing.

On the topic of “Snooze,” SZA recently surprised us by tapping Canadian crooner Justin Bieber to join her in the music video. While the TDE artist shows off plenty of her body in the tantalizing footage, his wife, Hailey, didn’t seem bothered. Rather, she celebrated the collaboration between her two favourite artists. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more music/pop culture news updates.

Trey Songz Sued For Sexual Assault, Incident Caught On Video

Trey Songz is in trouble yet again for his inappropriate behavior. He continues to face serious allegations of sexual abuse. Despite these accusations, he has managed to sustain his career. However, his accusers persist in their pursuit of justice. Earlier this year, Rolling Stone reported that a woman, known as Jane Doe, had refiled a $25 million lawsuit against Trey. She accused him of raping her in 2016. In addition to Trey Songz, Jane Doe also names Kevin Liles, 300 Ent., and, Atlantic Records, in the lawsuit. This lawsuit mirrors the one that the woman had previously filed. However, the previous suit was dismissed by the judge after Trey’s team argued that her claims fell outside the statute of limitations.

According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe alleges that Songz led her to a bedroom at a party in Los Angeles. There, she believed they would engage in consensual activity. She stated that she and Songz had a history of consensual sexual encounters. However, she claims that he forcefully held her down and subjected her to sodomy against her will. She further alleges that he ignored her screams of pain and pleas for him to stop. While this is horrific enough, it is not the only lawsuit being leveraged against Trey Songz. A new one has just been filed for a completely separate incident.

Trey Songz Exposed Woman’s Breast At Party

Trey Songz is facing another lawsuit for sexual assault. The lawsuit comes after an incident at a pool party outside a casino in Connecticut. The woman involved in the case is referred to as Jane Doe. She has filed legal documents against Trey, his production company, Kevin Liles, and Atlantic Records, citing the incident from 2013. The woman claims that Trey pulled her breast out of her bikini top without her consent. Not only that, he exposed her to a crowd at his “Foxwoods Liquid Sundays with Trey Songz” event. This is shown in its entirety in the video above. TMZ obtained the legal documents, which argue that the defendants should have been aware of Trey’s past behavior. Therefore, the lawyers say, they should have taken measures to control him during the event.

According to the woman’s lawyers, Trey’s behavior caused her to experience humiliation at the party. Additionally, it apparently caused her to have lasting emotional distress as a result of the incident. This led her to leave her promising career a few months later due to the embarrassment. The woman’s lawyers also mention that her decision to seek justice was triggered by Trey’s 2021 sexual assault case in Vegas. That case was dropped shortly before she sent a demand letter to Trey. The letter gave Trey and the others involved a chance to respond before taking legal action. Since there was no response, however, she is now seeking at least $10 million in damages. TMZ reportedly reached out to Trey’s representative for comment, but has not received a response yet. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates on the case.

Trey Songz Takes Plea In Bowling Alley Fight Case

Last October, Trey Songz was reportedly involved in a fight at a New York City bowling alley. According to a report from TMZ, Songz attacked a female employee of a bowling alley. He reportedly punched her multiple times in a bathroom and allegedly dragged her by the hair. The woman claims she had to go to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries. A Virginia man also claimed to have been hit in the eye by Songz.

While Songz initially denied the allegations, he did eventually turn himself in to a New York City police station. However, he was not detained and was allowed to leave after being issued a ticket for assault. Songz was later formally charged with 10 offenses, including assault and aggravated harassment. At the time, Songz and his team maintained his innocence. “We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved. While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrongdoing,” his attorney told TMZ. However, it appears Songz will not see a courtroom.

Songz Pleads Guilty To A Lesser Charge

Songz has reportedly pled guilty to the charge of disorderly conduct. In exchange, the 10 more severe charges will be dropped. This means that Songz will not face trial on the allegations of assault and harassment, amongst others. Furthermore, Songz must complete a 12-class anger management program before August. This is the only reported condition of his plea bargin. Sources told TMZ that Songz had already begun to take the classes.

Songz’ attorney, Mitchell Schuster, also gave a statement to TMZ following the court proceedings. “We appreciate the New York law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office for their comprehensive investigation and careful consideration of all evidence, which ultimately confirmed what we had known all along and resulted in the District Attorney’s office choosing not to pursue any of the original charges against our client. “With each and every one of the 10 original charges now dismissed by operation of law, Trey looks forward to putting this matter behind him.”

Hitmaka Songs: Best Productions, Ranked

Hitmaka, formally known as Yung Berg, has a music career that dates back to 2008. With over 15 years in the rap game, Hitmaka’s career now boasts over 75 million records sold. From Rap heavyweights to Pop and R&B superstars, Hitmaka’s production credits are full of hits. Combining familiar samples with updated flare, as well as hard-hitting 808s and cool synths, has made the megaproducer’s signature style one that keeps you moving. Here are five best-selling, hardest-hitting Hitmaka songs.

5. “Back Home” – Trey Songz feat. Summer Walker (2020)

The first single from the Trey Songz album of the same name, “Back Home,” set the tone for it. The song made it to No. 1 on the Adult R&B Songs chart. This was Trey Songz’s third No. 1 record on the chart and the first for newcomer Summer Walker. The instrumental for “Back Home” showcases the main attractions of Hitmaka’s catchy signature style. The use of Rose Royce’s “I’m Going Down” was reminiscent of Cameron’s “Oh Boy.”

His modern uniqueness and familiarity with the sample give this song a groovy yet laid-back vibe. The hard-hitting drums combine perfectly with the mellow tone of the sample, meshing with the hypnotic vocals of Trey Songz and Summer Walker. One of the bigger R&B hits of 2020, this song shows off the producer’s versatility.

4. “Dangerous” – Meek Mill feat. Jeremih & PnB Rock (2018)

The smash summer hit of 2018 made waves on the radio and charts, marking a big year for Meek Mill. “Dangerous,” which features Jeremih and the late PnB Rock, is an RIAA-certified platinum-selling record. This Hitmaka song peaked at No. 18 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/ Hip Hop Songs chart.

Sampling Jodeci’s “Come and Talk To Me,” the instrumental’s meshes well with Meek Mill’s toned-down flow. A far cry from Meek’s other high-energy singles, the subtle 808s complement the change of pace in the song’s slow tempo. The steady rate of the drums keeps a strong balance of bounce and sexiness on the R&B-influenced rap hit.

3. “Bounce Back” – Big Sean (2017)

One of Big Sean’s biggest singles to date, “Bounce Back,” eventually became a certified 6x platinum-selling record. The song is also one of many Hitmaka songs to receive a Grammy nomination. “Bounce Back” received a nomination for Best Rap Performance at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. It peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Co-produced with Metro Boomin and Smash David, the “Bounce Back” instrumental is full of swagger. The low-toned synths and chorus combined with the heavy drums make this Hitmaka song one that keeps your head nodding for the entire play-through.

2. “John” – Lil Wayne feat. Rick Ross (2011)

Hitmaka’s first hit record as a co-producer, “John, ” became one of his biggest hits. The second official single from Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV, “John” peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100. A product of the mixtape era, the instrumental also saw freestyles from Ace Hood, Jim Jones, and more.

Co-produced alongside Polo Da Don, Ayo The Producer, and others, Hitmaka combined his skills with veterans of the production game. Though still technically billed as Yung Berg in those days, this song was the beginning of a long and successful production career. The certified 2x platinum-selling record is one of many hits from Hitmaka’s production catalog.

1.”Rule The World” – 2 Chainz feat. Ariana Grande (2019)

This hit single from Rap or Go To The League was a definite highlight of 2 Chainz’s album. A big part of the gold-selling record’s success is the captivating catchy instrumental by Hitmaka. Sampling “Why Don’t We Fall in Love” by Amerie, the beat captures the same vibe as Hitmaka’s other R&B productions. The already smooth beat, updated with sparkly pianos and synths, creates a smooth and mellow sound that is perfect for Ariana Grande’s soft vocals.

Certified gold by the RIAA, the track peaked at No. 37 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/ Hip Hop Songs. While Hitmaka has higher selling and charting records to his credit, this song was a sleeper hit. The track caught the fanbases of 2 Chainz and Ariana Grande off guard. Fans were pleased with a hot collab and the instrumental that does it justice.
