Ashanti & Nelly Enjoy Adorable Karaoke Night Together Amid Pregnancy Rumors: Watch

Rumors that Ashanti and Nelly are expecting their first child together have been running rampant for months. The duo first teased the news with a subtle gesture towards the songstress’s stomach, and now, speculation is in full swing. While neither of the two artists have confirmed the alleged pregnancy, Ashanti’s mother seemingly hinted that it’s a sure thing during an interview earlier this month. The “Happy” singer has also traded her iconic figure-hugging fits for oversized t-shirts as of late, only furthering fans’ suspicions.

While supporters continue to search for signs of pregnancy, the pair has remained unbothered, seemingly opting to keep that part of their personal lives private. They do continue to show one another off online, however, reminding their followers that they’re a match made in heaven. Earlier this month, for example, Ashanti dropped off an adorable carousel of photos and clips from her and Nelly’s Valentine’s Day and Super Bowl adventures on Instagram.

Drake Sings Whitney Houston And More At Toronto Karaoke Party

Drake pulled up as a surprise guest to the Nostalgia Karaoke Party in Toronto last night. Drizzy hit up the joint to perform a few songs, some of which may be surprising to fans. The 6 God opened with Whitney Houston’s rendition of “I Will Always Love You”. He also pulled out Kim Davis’ “Hush” amidst a few other bangers. While Drake’s voice is a little rough, it’s nice to see him having a good time regardless. What did you think of Drizzy’s performances? Let us know in th comments.

The appearance comes a few days after the surprise release of Scary Hours 3, a surprise EP that, much like For All The Dogs, appeared to fuel a lot of beef. He also announced that he would be touring with J. Cole in 2024. The Cole collab will serve as an extension of this year’s It’s All a Blur Tour and will operate as the Big As The What? Tour. Meanwhile, It’s All a Blur was confirmed to be the highest-grossing rap tour of all time, despite less than half the shows having reported their revenue.

Drake Adds Hilarious Commentary To Raptors-Celtics

Meanwhile, Drake was one of the few Raptors fans having a good time during their game against the Celtics on Friday night. Drake’s highlights included poking fun at some of the Celtics’ bench players getting minutes in a close game. “Payton Pritchard’s out there looking like a crypto scammer,” Drake trolled as the rest of the broadcast team barely restrained their laughter. Pritchard, Boston’s 2020 first-round pick, put up 5-3-3 in 17 minutes against the Raptors.

However, as mentioned, Drake was likely the only one having fun in the Raptors fandom. While the Raptors kept it close, they were unable to topple the white-hot Celtics. Boston locked it down defensively in the final moments of the game and escaped with a 108-105 victory to improve to 10-2 on the season. Meanwhile, the Raptors fell to 5-7, dropping their second game in a row.

Boosie Badazz Shows Off His Singing Voice: Watch

It’s no secret that Boosie Badazz can rap, but it looks like he can sing as well. In a new clip, the Louisiana native is seen taking part in some Jodeci karaoke, putting his spin on the 90s love song “Forever My Lady.” The festivities were all part of Boosie’s recent birthday celebration, which saw the artist surrounded by countless loved ones at his sprawling estate.

Boosie appeared to be in great spirits at the party, ringing in his 41st with plenty of music, dancing, and more. Obviously, he and his guests had a blast, sharing various fun clips from the night on social media. He shared one clip thanking his friends for coming to the party, requesting that anyone with footage of his Jodeci performance send it his way.

Boosie Badazz’s Birthday Karaoke

His 41st birthday isn’t the only thing Boosie has to celebrate these days, however. Earlier this week, he appeared on The Breakfast Club, where he discussed his massive income. According to him, he makes $500k per year through his VladTV interviews alone. Charlamagne Tha God, taken aback by the whopping number, asked him to clarify if he actually earns that much. “Close to it,” he responded.

The conversation was prompted when Boosie shared that he’s considered starting his own podcast, claiming that he’d only be willing to do so if it brought in good money. Charlamagne told him that podcasting might not give him the opportunity to earn what he’d like, leading Boosie to come to the conclusion that he’s not interested. “Well, I don’t want it. Because, yeah, I could make a half a million with Vlad every year, man. I don’t really need it if it ain’t gon’… Vlad help me out a lot more,” he explained. Trey Songz Sings SZA’s “Snooze,” Social Media Isn’t Feeling It: Watch

Unfortunately for Trey Songz and his fans, when the R&B artist makes headlines, they’re not often flattering. The last time we reported on him was in July, at which time he requested his sexual assault case be thrown out amid claims of bribery coming forward. Things have been relatively quiet on his part since then, however, a video of the embattled entertainer covering a SZA song hit the internet earlier this month. While Songz has given us some huge hits in the past, many think that he missed the mark with his edition of “Snooze.”

“I can’t lose when I’m with you,” the 38-year-old sings to the audience with a smile on his face. As they repeat the lyrics back to him, it’s evident that at least a few people in the crowd were feeling Trey’s vocals. On social media, however, the comment section on @theneighborhoodtalk’s post regarding the situation is mostly filled with negativity. “Mary had a little lamb a** ni**a 😂,” one person joked of the “Bottoms Up” hitmaker’s attempt to channel SZA’s vocal acrobatics.

Trey Songz’s SZA Cover Misses the Mark

“Why he tryna sing it like her? Rookie mistake Tremaine. Sing It your way,” another user advised the multi-talent. Many noted that it’s been quite some time since Trey last shared a song of his own with R&B lovers. In 2022 he collaborated with Peter Jackson on “Mountain Valley,” but he hasn’t given us an album since 2020’s Back Home. Arguably his last major hit was 2015’s “Slow Motion,” though some are unsure if he’ll ever have a comeback due to the allegations he’s facing.

On the topic of “Snooze,” SZA recently surprised us by tapping Canadian crooner Justin Bieber to join her in the music video. While the TDE artist shows off plenty of her body in the tantalizing footage, his wife, Hailey, didn’t seem bothered. Rather, she celebrated the collaboration between her two favourite artists. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more music/pop culture news updates.

Saweetie & Will.I.Am Face Off In Karaoke Megamix

Saweetie and Will.I.Am go head to head in a new video. In it, they perform a classic rap karaoke showdown. They were both guests on the new competition show, That’s My Jam. The show combines elements of several others, heavily borrowing from shows like Wheel of Fortune and Carpool Karaoke. The four contestants featured on the episode were Saweetie, Keke Palmer, Will.I.Am, and Joel McHale. After being split into two teams by gender, the contestants go up against one another in several one on one battles. When Saweetie and Will.I.Am. stepped up to the mic, the category chosen for them was classic rap. The two performed the songs to varying degrees of success.

Saweetie is the target of both praise and ire within the rap community. She released her first commercial single “Icy Girl” in 2017. The track features the rapper freestyling over the instrumental to Khia’s iconic single, “My Neck, My Back.” Unfortunately, Khia is not a fan of the sample. Back in December 2022, Saweetie released her most recent EP, THE SINGLE LIFE. She called it her most honest project. Fans are still eagerly awaiting the release of her debut full-length album, Pretty Bitch Music. Originally, the album was originally slated to be released in 2021. Last year, Saweetie promised it would be released before the end of 2022, but there is no confirmed release date as of April 2023.

Saweetie Shows No Love For California

During the “Mega Mix Showdown” between Saweetie and Will.I.Am, the duo performs many classic songs over one beat. Some of the songs they take on are DMX’s “Party Up,” Ice Cube’s “It Was A Good Day,” The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize,” and OutKast’s “Ms. Jackson.” However, when the time comes for Saweetie to rap Tupac’s legendary “California Love,” she seems not to know the lyrics. This is notable considering that the rapper is from California herself.

Saweetie is a very successful rapper, but success isn’t without its challenges. In early 2021, a video of her rapping acapella went viral on social media. This prompted criticism from some who feel that her flow isn’t up to par. Saweetie responded by sharing a longer freestyle on her social media channels, demonstrating her skills as a rapper and shutting down her critics. Even though she is not everyone’s cup of tea, Saweetie doesn’t let the hate get her down. What do you think of the rapper’s karaoke performance? Let us know in the comments.
