Takeoff Murder Lawsuit Continues, Venue Owner Blames Suspect, Migos & Patrons For Violence

New reports on court documents in Takeoff’s mother’s lawsuit against the venue at which he met a tragic end in late 2022 reveal some very interesting arguments. Moreover, according to RadarOnline, the owner of 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston placed all blame for the murder on its charged suspect, Patrick Xavier Clark, and his possession of an illegal gun. However, the location also seems to have attributed responsibility to Quavo, Take, and their associates who participated in gambling outside of the venue. Since this lawsuit’s filing in June of 2023, no settlement is in sight and 810 Billiards & Bowling want its dismissal.

Furthermore, Takeoff’s mother Titania Davenport claimed that the bowling alley knew of Quavo and her son’s arrival beforehand and should’ve bolstered security, according to The Los Angeles Times. She maintains that the former Migo was an innocent onlooker during this incident, one that 810 Billiards & Bowling should assume responsibility for given their knowledge of the possibility of large gatherings to see the rappers. In addition, Davenport claimed that some of the venue’s patrons were the one to intimidate Take, cause physical and verbal altercations, and ultimately lead to his loss. She seeks over a million dollars in damages for emotional distress, funeral expenses, and her son’s personal injuries.

Nevertheless, Titania Davenport has other issues to handle around Takeoff’s death, as his father Kenneth Ball is listed as an intervenor in this case against 810 Billiards & Bowling. The Georgia MC’s parents have battled over his estate for a while now, as he had no will and, according to RapUp, left around $26 million when he passed. AllHipHop also reported that Ball seeks $1 million in damages from the venue for similar reasons to Davenport. Quavo’s assistant also filed a lawsuit against the location in August of 2023, claiming similar irresponsibility when it comes to security and pointing to his own sustained injuries from the shootout.

Meanwhile, after authorities charged Patrick Xavier Clark with the murder, he remains on house arrest until his next court date for August 2024. Perhaps we will see this year if there will truly be justice for the late legend, at least when it comes to who was responsible for his passing. But justice will never heal these wounds. Instead, that’s up to his family, his loved ones, his legacy, and to us as fans to advocate for the prevention of these incidents in the future and keep Takeoff’s memory alive. DaBaby’s Bowling Alley Brawl Earns Him Second Lawsuit

Back in 2022, DaBaby and his crew got into a heated altercation with his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh’s brother, Brandon Bills. Last month, Bills attempted to hit the rapper with a lawsuit over the incident, accusing him of assault. Reportedly, however, he was unable to serve him at the time because DaBaby’s whereabouts were unknown. Apparently, Bills hired a private investigator in hopes of tracking him down, and was even considering placing an ad in the paper if his attempts were unsuccessful.

In his suit, Bills named DaBaby, his company, and the bowling alley where the infamous scuffle took place as defendants. The bowling alley in question, Corbin Bowl, has now denied any wrongdoing. They’ve asked the court to hold the rapper liable for any damages. Bills claims that the fight caused him physical and psychological harm, which he says has resulted in various medical bills. He also argues that it was the bowling alley’s responsibility to keep him out of harm’s way.

Shortly after the incident occurred, Bills insisted that he wouldn’t be pressing charges and refused to cooperate with authorities. “I was never cooperating, I was never gonna cooperate. I was never gonna put nobody in jail. I’ve been to jail myself,” he explained. “I’m not gonna put nobody in that situation. All y’all talking all that snitch sh*t… Ain’t nobody a snitch here. Never will be a snitch, never was a snitch. That sh*t went viral, the whole world saw it.” That all changed in December, when he decided he was ready to serve DaBaby.

This isn’t DaBaby’s first assault accusation, however. In 2022, a 65-year-old man named Gary Pagar sued him over an alleged physical confrontation. He was granted a continuance at the time due to his ongoing felony case, but in August of last year, the lawsuit moved forward. What do you think of DaBaby being hit with yet another lawsuit stemming from his bowling alley brawl? Quavo’s Assistant Sues Bowling Alley Where Takeoff Died For Negligence

About nine months after the tragic loss of Takeoff, his friends and family are still seeking justice for his passing. Moreover, Quavo’s assistant Joshua Washington, who accompanied him and Take the night suspects shot the latter, sued the location of the tragedy, 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas. The lawsuit against the venue, its owners, and property managers alleges gross negligence of security measures and emergency responses to the shooting. In fact, Washington was one of three other individuals who sustained injuries as a result of it, with the late Migo being the only casualty. Readers may remember that Kirsnick Khari Ball’s mother, Titania Davenport, also sued the entertainment venue for similar reasons.

Furthermore, her suit also brought forth allegations that the venue ignored calls for stricter security amid rumors that it became a crime hotspot. She seeks “compensatory, special, economic, consequential, general, punitive, and all other damages permissible under Texas law.” However, it’s unclear as of writing this article what outcome Washington seeks from this new legal action, although they’re assumedly similar damages. Regardless, this means that there’s now more pressure than ever on the venue to answer for their supervision.

Still, 810 Billiards & Bowling issued a public denial of any responsibility in this tragic incident, which Davenport’s lawsuit aimed to disprove. “[The] Defendants provided no screening mechanisms, no after-hour controls or security measures, and no enforcement of rules or industry standards to deter crime against their invitees, to include [Takeoff],” the suit alleges. “Social media posting in advance of the party made it clear that not only basic security measures needed to be followed, but advance planning and consideration should have been taken into account.

“Defendants knew or should have known that a significant number of violent crimes were committed at the subject premises and in the surrounding area, but negligently failed to protect invitees like [Takeoff] from the risks of violent crime,” it continued. “Defendants negligently failed to take necessary and unique precautions due to the specific event and the attendees. [They] knew that based on the nature of the party, celebrities would more likely than not be in attendance and potentially be the targets of crime.” We’ll see if this additional lawsuit will result in true accountability for the venue. Ten Charges Against Trey Songz in Bowling Alley Assault Case Dropped

Fans React To Trey Songz's Alleged Nudes Leaking

Charges placed against Trey Songz for an assault at a bowling alley have been dropped. Songz pled guilty to a single disorderly conduct violation.

Songz was able to sidestep charges of assault and aggravated harassment and will complete 12 anger management classes by August. Sources state Songz has already started on the courses.

According to TMZ, Songz was arrested at the end of November, citing he hit two people in the face, with one person needing to go to the hospital.

Trey Songz was given a desk appearance ticket for assault and was released.

A previous report stated Trey allegedly punched a woman in the face of the bowling alley’s bathroom. The second person was a man who received a punch to the eye.

In a statement, Songz’s attorney Mitch Schuster told TMZ: “We appreciate the New York law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office for their comprehensive investigation and careful consideration of all evidence, which ultimately confirmed what we had known all along and resulted in the District Attorney’s office choosing not to pursue any of the original charges against our client.”

He added, “With each and every one of the 10 original charges now dismissed by operation of law, Trey looks forward to putting this matter behind him.”

Trey Songz Takes Plea In Bowling Alley Fight Case

Last October, Trey Songz was reportedly involved in a fight at a New York City bowling alley. According to a report from TMZ, Songz attacked a female employee of a bowling alley. He reportedly punched her multiple times in a bathroom and allegedly dragged her by the hair. The woman claims she had to go to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries. A Virginia man also claimed to have been hit in the eye by Songz.

While Songz initially denied the allegations, he did eventually turn himself in to a New York City police station. However, he was not detained and was allowed to leave after being issued a ticket for assault. Songz was later formally charged with 10 offenses, including assault and aggravated harassment. At the time, Songz and his team maintained his innocence. “We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved. While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrongdoing,” his attorney told TMZ. However, it appears Songz will not see a courtroom.

Songz Pleads Guilty To A Lesser Charge

Songz has reportedly pled guilty to the charge of disorderly conduct. In exchange, the 10 more severe charges will be dropped. This means that Songz will not face trial on the allegations of assault and harassment, amongst others. Furthermore, Songz must complete a 12-class anger management program before August. This is the only reported condition of his plea bargin. Sources told TMZ that Songz had already begun to take the classes.

Songz’ attorney, Mitchell Schuster, also gave a statement to TMZ following the court proceedings. “We appreciate the New York law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office for their comprehensive investigation and careful consideration of all evidence, which ultimately confirmed what we had known all along and resulted in the District Attorney’s office choosing not to pursue any of the original charges against our client. “With each and every one of the 10 original charges now dismissed by operation of law, Trey looks forward to putting this matter behind him.”

Trey Songz Turns Himself In After Previously Denying Bowling Alley Brawl With Woman & Man

Trey Songz seemingly thought he was in the clear following a New York City fight between him and two others earlier this fall. However, a new report from TMZ reveals that the R&B vocalist did end up turning himself in to authorities as a result of the allegations against him.

According to the outlet’s law enforcement sources, the singer was feeling heat at the end of November over the reported altercation. Specifically, he’s facing accusations of striking two people in the face at a bowling alley in October. One of the victims, a woman, was in the hospital afterward to get treatment for her injuries.

When the news first broke, it was said that Songz “punched her in the face repeatedly and dragged her by her hair.” Additionally, sources note that she was an employee at the establishment where the fight went down.

The second victim, a man, claims the Virginia native punched him in the eye. Following the brawl, he allegedly refused any medical treatment.

Immediately, reps for the 38-year-old denied the gossip. From the sounds of the latest reports, his attorney, Mitch Schuster, also believes his client is innocent.

“We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved,” he informed TMZ recently. “While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrongdoing.”

Currently, Songz is not behind bars. He previously turned himself in at an NYPD station last month. After going through booking and getting a desk appearance ticket for assault, he later left.

A motive for the alleged bowling alley beatdown remains unknown. Additionally, we’re unsure when the “Na Na” hitmaker will have his day in court.

Check back in with HNHH later for any updates on the situation.
