SZA’s ‘S.O.S.’ Tracklist Features Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, And Ol’ Dirty Bastard

It’s all happening, y’all: SZA’s sophomore album S.O.S. is right around the corner. The “Broken Clocks” singer revealed the release date during her Saturday Night Live performance this past weekend and S.O.S. is dropping this Friday, December 9th. It’s been a long-time coming since the brilliant Ctrl established SZA as a bona fide force back in 2017 and SZA has had her share of delays for the new album in the years since. Now that we’re finally, officially on the home stretch, SZA has now shared the S.O.S. tracklist and it has its share of surprises (Phoebe Bridgers!) and familiar faces.

For starters, both the previously released first single, “Shirt” and the SNL-debuted “Blind” are among the album’s 23 tracks. Yes, that’s right, 23 tracks! Travis Scott is set to appear on another collaboration with SZA on a track called “Open Arms.” There’s a posthumous appearance from Ol’ Dirty Bastard on the album-closing “Forgiveness,” Don Toliver will appear on “Used,” and then perhaps the most unexpected featured guest, Phoebe Bridgers, is on the album’s 12th track, “Ghost In The Machine.”

SZA also reached out to fans to ask which of two back cover designs they liked. The more minimal layout of the tracklist which better showcases a photo of SZA won out.

Future Performs “Love You Better” On Jimmy Kimmel, Travis Scott Serves As Creative Director

Future’s still riding high off of the release of I Never Liked You. “WAIT FOR U” was easily one of the songs that soundtracked summer ’22, but the whole album produced some significant moments.

“LOVE YOU BETTER” gained significant traction over the past few months, as well. Last night, Future hit Jimmy Kimmel with a performance of the single, though it wasn’t your average late-night performance. With Travis Scott as the creative director, Fewtch’s performance began as if it were an interview before Future gets lost in a daze.

“So, how is the future, relatively speaking?” asks Kimmel as Future sat down. “Man, I be driftin’ off sometimes,” Future responds as the lights dim and the instrumental strikes.

The camera, then, goes backstage to where a woman is calling for the rapper in his green room, discovering flowers with a letter that reads, “I NEVER LIKED U.” After he performs the record, the woman storms Kimmel’s stage, throwing the letter and dragging Future off the set.

Future and Travis Scott have a tight relationship going back years, though it seems their musical bond’s gotten stronger recently. The two teamed up on Southside’s “Hold That Heat,” while the former later brought the latter out at Rolling Loud.

Travis Scott And Kylie Jenner Are Still Working On Naming Their 7-Month-Old Son

Back in February, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner revealed that their then-recently born son was named Wolf Webster, while a birth certificate later revealed that his full name was Wolf Jacques Webster, the middle name being Scott’s real first name. However, in March, Jenner revealed, “FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

There hadn’t been any updates on that front until last night, when Jenner talked about it on The Late Late Show.

On yesterday’s (September 8) episode, James Corden chatted with Kylie and mother Kris Jenner, and he asked where things stand when it comes to the seven-month-old boy some call Wolf. Kylie noted, “We haven’t officially, legally changed the name. His name is still Wolf. His password’s Wolf. But that isn’t going to be his name. We’re just waiting.”

Corden tried to wrap his head around that, saying, “So you call him Wolf.” Kylie said that’s not the case, so Corden asked what they call him. Kylie responded, “You know,” adding, “We’re just not ready to share yet.”

The host then clarified that they have a new name but just don’t want to say it yet. Kylie said, “Well, you know, Travis does… he likes to sometimes… like one day, he’ll be like, ‘Ooh, this name is kind of cool,’ and change it again. So we’re just not officially probably going to change it until…” Kris cut in, joking, “…he’s 21.”

Corden then said that while he understands not wanting to share the name publicly, he noted Scott and Kylie should “probably zone in on one” name. Kylie affirmed that they have done that. Corden then got the only real clue about the kid’s name: He asked if it was still an animal name and Kylie said it’s not, so that at least rules out Buck, Drake, and Robin.
