Travis Scott And Kylie Jenner Are Still Working On Naming Their 7-Month-Old Son

Back in February, Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner revealed that their then-recently born son was named Wolf Webster, while a birth certificate later revealed that his full name was Wolf Jacques Webster, the middle name being Scott’s real first name. However, in March, Jenner revealed, “FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

There hadn’t been any updates on that front until last night, when Jenner talked about it on The Late Late Show.

On yesterday’s (September 8) episode, James Corden chatted with Kylie and mother Kris Jenner, and he asked where things stand when it comes to the seven-month-old boy some call Wolf. Kylie noted, “We haven’t officially, legally changed the name. His name is still Wolf. His password’s Wolf. But that isn’t going to be his name. We’re just waiting.”

Corden tried to wrap his head around that, saying, “So you call him Wolf.” Kylie said that’s not the case, so Corden asked what they call him. Kylie responded, “You know,” adding, “We’re just not ready to share yet.”

The host then clarified that they have a new name but just don’t want to say it yet. Kylie said, “Well, you know, Travis does… he likes to sometimes… like one day, he’ll be like, ‘Ooh, this name is kind of cool,’ and change it again. So we’re just not officially probably going to change it until…” Kris cut in, joking, “…he’s 21.”

Corden then said that while he understands not wanting to share the name publicly, he noted Scott and Kylie should “probably zone in on one” name. Kylie affirmed that they have done that. Corden then got the only real clue about the kid’s name: He asked if it was still an animal name and Kylie said it’s not, so that at least rules out Buck, Drake, and Robin.

Kylie Jenner And Travis Scott Used Scott’s Real First Name For Their New Baby Boy’s Middle Name

Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner announced she had given birth to her and Travis Scott’s second child together. Shortly after that, she revealed the kid’s name is Wolf Webster (Scott’s legal name is Jacques Berman Webster II). Now, it appears the little bundle of joy shares more with his father than just the last name.

TMZ reports in a birth certificate they obtained, the baby’s full name is written as Wolf Jacques Webster, with Jacques being, as noted above, Scott’s legal first name. The document also notes the boy was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center on February 2 at 5:35 a.m. PT. The sheet also reveals the baby was delivered by Dr. Thais Aliabadi, why TMZ notes is the same OBGYN who delivered Wolf’s older sister Stormi and cousin True Thompson (the daughter of Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson) into the world. They also note that Wolf is different from Stormi in that Stormi’s birth certificate doesn’t include a middle name.

As for what Wolf looks like, fans have only caught a glimpse. Jenner shared a photo of Wolf’s hand when announcing his name, but that’s all we’ve seen of the little one so far. Stormi’s face has been seen online plenty of times in her short life, so it seems just a matter of time before fans get to see Wolf’s mug.

Kylie Jenner Reveals The Name Of Her And Travis Scott’s New Baby

After months of rumors, Kylie Jenner announced this past weekend that she had given birth to her and Travis Scott’s second child together. Many believe the child is a boy since Jenner shared a blue heart emoji alongside what is presumably the child’s birth date, “2/2/22.” Now, it seems Jenner has finally revealed the baby’s name.

On her Instagram Story today, Jenner shared a plain image of white text on a dark gray background that reads, “Wolf Webster,” followed by a white heart emoji. Scott’s legal name is Jacques Berman Webster II, so it would seem Wolf Webster is in fact the baby’s full name.

TMZ previously reported that according to “sources familiar with the situation,” both Jenner and the new baby were in good health after the birth and that Stormi, Jenner and Scott’s first child, is “excited” to be a big sister.

The Bump notes that the name “Wolf” is German in origin and that according to data from the Social Security Administration, it was the 3,996th most popular first name as of 2020 and has climbed up the ranks in recent decades. Nameberry also notes, “Wolf is a name with a split personality. It can be seen as one of the fierce animal names, like Fox and Bear and Puma, with a touch of the werewolf, or it can be viewed as a quieter, Wolf Blitzer kind of name, fairly common in German (where is pronounced Vulf) and Jewish families, sometimes as a short form of Wolfgang.”
