Adin Ross Says “Free Tory Lanez” On His Stream

The Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion situation is still as volatile and divisive of a topic on social media as ever. As people take their sides following the former’s 10-year sentence after a guilty conviction for shooting Megan, people aren’t getting any less passionate about the controversy. For example, popular and controversial streamer Adin Ross recently voiced his support for the Canadian artist on his stream. Specifically, he did so while sharing a throwback clip of Tory playing some music for him during a livestream. In his remarks, he made it clear that he doesn’t believe that Lanez did anything wrong for a second.

“Free Tory Lanez, by the way,” Adin Ross proclaimed, pausing the video in question to direct people’s attention to his situation. “Remind you, chat. Some girl up in the f***ing, you know what I’m saying, the higher-ups. Basically trying to ruin this man’s life over some d**k. It’s just *nsane, bro. You know he’s innocent, chat. We stand by Tory in this chat, bro! We stand by Tory in this chat, bro. Free Tory in the chat, man!”

Of course, there’s a plethora of reactions like this online, but Ross’ heightened platform makes calls like this all the more viral. The case has been scrutinized, discussed, and broken down to death, and people seem no closer to focusing on more important issues at hand. Instead of speaking on mistreatment of Black women or the injustices of the prison system, people remain obsessed with the “he said, she said” narrative. This rang especially true when Tory Lanez’s team called reporter Meghann Cuniff’s coverage false, drawing a clear line in the sand between them and the media. It clearly didn’t result to their benefit, as these aggravating factors allegedly worked against them in court.

Meanwhile, we’re sure a gaggle of other celebrities will eventually side with one or the other and give their thoughts. All we can hope for is that people eventually focus on the facts and quit the story-spinning. There’s more at stake here than someone’s reputation, and blind support will only further hurt more crucial causes that this case represents. Jaidyn Alexis Is A “Major Upgrade” From Chrisean Rock, Blueface Says After Sharing Old Photo

Long before he crossed paths with Chrisean Rock, and even before the world knew him as Blueface, Johnathan Porter was a high school student in love with Jaidyn Alexis. Long before the fame, fortune, and two children came around, the pair spent their time as most young couples do, though we’ve seen little photo evidence of what their life was like before. Just a few days ago, the “Dear Rock” artist reposted an old photo of him and Alexis on his Instagram Story in which they almost look like alternate reality versions of themselves.

It’s unclear how old they were when the picture was first taken, but it’s obvious that Blueface was much smaller back then. He dressed simply in dark wash jeans and a red shirt. Alexis smiles from ear to ear while standing beside her man, wearing a beige and black mini dress with her long, dark hair cascading down her side in pretty curls. While going under the knife obviously made the mother of two more confident in her body, some would argue that she looked better, and happier in her natural state.

Despite haters insisting that Blueface is taking a major L by spinning the block and running back to Alexis amid his drama with Rock, the California native continues to insist that his partner’s presence in his life is making him a changed man. He recently shared that he’s gone several weeks without cheating – a trend he plans to continue – much to the internet’s distaste.

Elsewhere, the soon-to-be father of three retweeted a recent photo of Alexis at home without makeup, which some shared along with the message, “They be tryna clown her but she really .” Shortly after that, he put up a post simply labelling Jaidyn a “major upgrade.”

During a recent podcast appearance, Sexyy Red opened up about getting physical with her baby daddy. According to the “Pound Town” rapper, things have gotten pretty violent in the past. Apparently, they even pulled their guns on each other at some point. Her account was quite shocking, and for obvious reasons, got social media users talking.

“I went through my baby daddy phone,” she explained, “baby that n***a talking to sum… I whooped his a**.” She continued, telling the We In Miami podcast “We be fighting for real, I swear to God. Like, me and my baby daddy we upped our Glocks on each other before. Like that’s real toxic.” Sexyy Red went on, describing how her baby daddy also fights back. “I hit him in the mouth with my Glock he was hella mad,” she added, “I just had that experience before I came down here.”

The lighthearted way in which she shared this information left several Instagram commenters surprised. Many are criticizing her choice to treat something so serious as a laughing matter. “It’s all fun n games till someone lose they life,” one user writes. Another adds, “If you’re in a toxic relationship like that, please leave.” Other commenters also noted how this sort of domestic violence could impact Sexyy Red’s kids. “So the Poor child has to watch his parents fight? They need therapy asap,” someone notes.

Speaking of Sexyy Red’s children, the St. Louis rapper recently shared a throwback video featuring one of her kids. 51-year-old Sacha Baron Cohen has kept us laughing by bringing figures like Borat and Bruno to life throughout his career, but before those came to life, he spent his days playing Ali G. As Variety reports, this year marks the British character’s 25th anniversary, and to celebrate, Cohen is taking his famous yellow tracksuit on tour. Fans were hoping that the comedian’s recent teaser meant a movie was in the works, but it’s been made clear that he’s on strike with the rest of the industry.

“As a SAG and WGA member he is supporting the ongoing strike alongside his fellow writers and actors,” a source told the outlet. Regardless, we’re still happy to hear Cohen is hitting the road as Ali G for the first time since his 2021 appearance at The Comedy Story in Sydney, Australia. “I just wanted to get on stage and muck around and see what Ali G would be like with a crowd,” The Dictator star said at the time. “It was really good fun.”

The couple hasn’t confirmed if West is the one who picks out Censori’s eyebrow-raising outfits, but based on recently surfaced throwback photos of her, we’re assuming he had a hand in her sudden taste change.

A circulating TikTok shows the 27-year-old’s outfits since tying the knot with Ye, many of them consisting of sheer pantyhose in various colours and halter necklines. In the latter half of the video, we get a glimpse of Censori’s style before the father of four began influencing her. In the first snap, she looks comparable to his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, while wearing beige biker shorts and a barely-there top. Atmosphere’s “Sad Clown Bad Dub 2” Finally Hits DSPs: Listen

As far as hip-hop duos go, Atmosphere is one of the longest-standing that we’ve seen still making music. Apart from feeding fans with So Many Other Realities Exist Simultaneously earlier this year, they’ve also got a treat for their older listeners in the form of Sad Clown Bad Dub 2. The 12-track effort finally hit DSPs this past New Music Friday, over two decades after Slug and Ant originally put it together to help generate more sales while on tour.

Per Broadway World, the series first began as a string of limited cassette tapes and CD-Rs. They’ve continued to share new installments, with over a dozen arriving since the first in 1999. Four-track demos, live recordings, behind-the-scenes footage, a mixtape, and vinyl singles are just a few of the forms we’ve heard the Sad Clown sounds come in. Of the many releases, the second iteration continues to be a fan favourite, likely explaining why the Midwest-based duo wanted it to be more readily available for their listeners.

Go Back in Time with Atmosphere’s “Body Pillow”

“It is a deeply introspective project that explores a range of complex thoughts and emotions, counter-balanced by occasional moments of darkly humorous sarcasm and wit,” the outlet praises Slug’s writing. The longtime lyricist is perhaps best known for taking the darkest moments of his own life and turning them into bars that thousands of others can relate to and seek comfort in. As for Ant, his production has always perfectly complimented his partner’s work, and listening back on their 2000s work now only proves how far they’ve come since first kicking off their careers.

Travis Scott is currently in the news thanks to the release of his brand-new album, Utopia. Overall, this has proven to be a polarizing album. Some people love it, and others absolutely hate it. With that being said, many are looking back at Scott’s output to see what his best album truly is. While we maintain that it is Rodeo, Astroworld would have to be a close second. In fact, today marks the fifth anniversary of the latter’s release. This project was a tour de force when it dropped, and it is still making an impact.

When you look at the 17-track runtime of Astroworld, you will immediately see a ton of great tracks. Of course, “Sicko Mode” and “Stargazing” are huge standouts. However, you cannot talk about this album without also mentioning “Skeletons” with the likes of Tame Impala and The Weeknd. Overall, this track brings forth a gorgeous psychedelic sound that puts Scott and The Weeknd’s voices front and center. Meanwhile, that iconic Tame Impala guitar tone reigns supreme.

Astroworld was always going for a psychedelic sound to begin with. However, on this track in particular, we get the culmination of these psych-trap elements. Moreover, it is probably one of the few instances on the album where Scott is able to stand out when compared to his features. When you look back at Travis and his discography, this is a song that has to be considered one of his top 10 efforts.

Along with the tidbit of hip-hop history knowledge, she shared a throwback photo taken while filming the visual. While wearing an elegant, deep red dress and stiletto heels, Cardi sits on the hood of a luxury whip. While her beauty budget and the expensive car likely took up a lot of that money, several members of the Bardi Gang were quick to ask their favourite artist how much she paid for the leopard who appears beside her on-screen throughout the footage.

As Uproxx reports, Cardi previously shared her inspiration for “Bodak Yellow” during an interview with Billboard. “I wanted to do a song that is, like, ‘You know what? I’m in a good place in my life right now, and I want to stun. I felt it in my soul — this song is going to be so popping.”

Despite the New Yorker’s obvious enthusiasm about the single, her label reportedly wasn’t feeling it. Staying true to her own vision, Cardi got the funds together on her own accord to put the video together. It’s since amassed well over one billion streams and was Diamond certified by the RIAA in 2022 after selling upwards of 11 million units.

YNW Melly’s 2015 Interrogation Footage Surfaces Online Amid Double-Murder Trial

It’s long been said that there’s no such thing as bad publicity. At this time, that cliché is proving to be somewhat true for YNW Melly. As his double-murder trial finally kicked off earlier this month, the 23-year-old saw a sudden boost in his streaming numbers. Consequently, tracks like “Murder on My Mind” and “Suicidal” have been skyrocketing. This has been exciting for both Melly and fans to witness. Nevertheless, not all the attention coming from his ongoing case has been flattering.

Apart from discovering his music, internet sleuths have also unearthed 2015 interrogation footage that shows the Florida native speaking with police about an unrelated incident. At the time, Melly was still a teenager, which has caused some to question the legalities of the recorded conversation between the rapper and the authorities. The 45-minute video is the first in a series of three, though the final two parts have yet to land on YouTube. It seems the next section will be shared on Tuesday (June 20) when Melly’s trial continues.

Shorter clips from the full-length upload have been shared on blogs, many of them accusing YNW of snitching. “Is this the ni**a that sang ‘I gat murder on my mind ’?” one user asked in @akademiks’ Instagram comment section. “Ya better treat him the same way ya did Gunna and 6ix9ine ,” another person joked. Elsewhere, it’s been suggested that the video was intentionally leaked to alter the world’s perception of Melly. “The court system play a dirty game,” someone explained. “They specifically put this out to turn the public against him.”

Before the weekend began, YNW Melly’s ex-girlfriend’s mom was one of the final people to take the stand. During her testimony, the woman notably smiled at the accused killer before clarifying that she’s felt threatened by law enforcement throughout the legal process.
