Just when you thought the song couldn’t get any more addictive, the track made its way into a local newsroom. Yesterday (July 12), GloRilla took to Instagram to reveal a hilarious remake of the record with everyone’s favorite weatherman, Nick Kosir.

“It’s 7 pm Friday & here’s da forecast from me & my guy, Nick Kosir 😂🔥,” she wrote.

In the clip, the Fox anchor put his own professional spin on GloRilla’s smash single and forecast reporting will never be the same.

“I ain’t got no sunburn / cause I got sunscreen on me / I’ma show my forecast / For the rest of the week / How are we gonna cool off / In this kind of heat / Turn on all the fans / Turn on the ac / Turn down all the blinds / Cause it’s hot and sticky / 60 percent chance that a cold front will advance / Til then its hots as Hades / Now let’s hit this dance,” he rapped.

Today (July 2), the “Wanna Be” rapper took to her official Instagram page to share the shocking message she received from Rihanna.

Users online hilariously called out Rihanna for having the nerve to flip the script onto GloRilla.

From there, the 24-year-old provided even more hits on her mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang. But GloRilla is showing that she has no intentions of slowing down, as she is back with “TGIF”.

This single is made for all the single ladies who are down for a weekend of debauchery. Like “Yeah Glo!”, “TGIF” is an instant hit. From the orchestral string sections to the rumbling bass and 808s, as well as the horn sections, it is a perfect melting pot, sonically. Then, there is Glo’s performance which is full of energy (per usual) and features one of stickiest choruses/post-choruses to date. Even though she has already dropped a project and several singles this year, “TGIF” was too good of a moment to pass up on.
