Tamar Braxton Details Chrisean Rock Assaulting James Wright Chanel, Denies Clout Chaser Claims: Watch

Chrisean Rock is mostly in denial about her role in the drama at Tamar Braxton’s Baltimore concert his past weekend. The 23-year-old appears to have mistaken the show venue for the Baddies house, as she punched backup singer James Wright Chanel several times after finding out she wasn’t a part of the R&B star’s setlist. Practically everyone but Braxton has spoken out at this point, but on Monday (November 13) evening, a video appeared online in which she confirms Rock is responsible for traumatizing her friend and colleague.

“I wasn’t going to say anything out of respect for James,” the reality starlet began. “He got assaulted at my show, and it was by Chrisean,” she specifically noted before sharing that several events resulted in the chaos that ensued that night. Before getting into the real tea, Braxton acknowledged her team and how much she loves them. “I’m not a clout chaser, I don’t need that,” the 46-year-old said, seemingly addressing Tommie Lee’s post about Rock’s antics being the only reason why the performance went viral.

“Chrisean is someone I look at like, from afar, a younger sister,” Braxton said. Because she, too, was in the spotlight at a young age, the vocalist has empathy for the new mother’s situation and wanted to allow her to prove her growth and true character to the community. Unfortunately for everyone involved, that obviously didn’t go as planned. “She was somebody I wanted to meet, to possibly take under my wing,” Tamar went on.

While she didn’t invite her “sibling” to perform at the show, the “My Man” artist admits she did suggest Rock join in on the “twerk off” they do at each show as her “Vibe” single plays. This is where things seemingly got messy, resulting in the Cr*zy In Love starlet’s frustration. Now that Tamar Braxton is finally joining the conversation surrounding her Love & War concert, Chrisean Rock has interestingly pulled a vanishing act from social media. Her accounts aren’t active for the time being, though her two-month-old son, Junior, still has a profile with over one million followers. Toni Braxton Side-Eyes Chrisean Rock Twerking Backstage At Tamar’s Concert: Watch

Tamar Braxton was thankful to be in the presence of her loved ones this past weekend when hosting a concert in Baltimore. Unfortunately, the invitation she extended to Chrisean Rock to attend the event in their home state is currently coming back to haunt the 46-year-old as she continues to deal with the aftermath of her guest assaulting a backup singer. According to various reports, Rock was angry after finding out she wasn’t performing at Braxton’s show, causing her to punch James Wright Chanel in the face several times.

The victim has since confirmed that he’s okay on social media, though a close friend of Tamar’s, LeTroy, is hell-bent on sending the new mother to prison for assaulting Chanel. More details are surfacing with each passing day, along with videos of Rock drunkenly stumbling around both onstage and while hanging out in a dressing room behind the curtain. In one clip, the Baddies cast member lets her carefree personality shine through while throwing it back on Braxton and one of her sisters, Toni.

Chrisean Rock is currently in a world of trouble thanks to some drama that allegedly went down at a Tamar Braxton concert. As the story goes, Chrisean punched Braxton’s longtime friend James Wright Chanel, in the face. Overall, Chanel was left with a bloody nose and had to go to the hospital. Subsequently, Chrisean has been hit with a ton of criticism for her alleged actions. People are livid, and are calling her entitled due to the fact her beef started when she found out she would not be performing.

This has been quite the whirlwind, and it is clear that Chrisean understands the weight of what is happening. For instance, according to AllHipHop, she recently tweeted that she was deactivating all of her social media pages. Furthermore, she revealed that she wants to change her phone number and her address. This is all happening extremely fast, although Chrisean has been known to be impulsive. At the end of the day, the backlash seems to be weighing heavily on her.

Following the fight, Braxton’s friend LeTroy came out and offered some words on what allegedly went down. I swear I will do everything to make sure she goes to prison she is trash and that’s why her life is the way that it is. She deserves every bad thing that happens to her.”

James Wright Chanel Confirms Assault At Tamar Braxton Show, LeTroy Drops Chrisean Rock Receipts

We’ve heard Chrisean Rock share her side of the story regarding the alleged assault of James Wright Chanel at Tamar Braxton’s weekend concert. Now, the victim is giving us some insight into his perspective, though he didn’t specifically name the new mother as his attacker. After everything unfolded on Friday (November 10) in Baltimore, Wright went Live (while hiding his face from the camera) to confirm that at least some of the rumours circulating are true.

“Chile, I was an innocent bystander,” Braxton’s backup singer said of his involvement in the blowout. He laughed while delivering the news, noting that it’s important to still find the joy and humour in things if possible. “I don’t know what be wrong with people, I really don’t,” he reflected. It’s likely Chanel was referring to Rock’s decision to reportedly punch him in the face after finding out she wasn’t performing during Tamar’s concert.

Elsewhere, LeTroy, – a member of Braxton’s team who shared one of the initial stories about the drama – responded to Rock’s video denying any wrongdoing with a screenshot of his text interaction with someone from her management. “Hey LeTroy, nice to meet you. Tamar had told Chrisean that she wanted to bring her out tonight,” the latter confirmed.

While it was agreed upon that the Baddies cast member would come on stage, nothing was said about an actual performance. This seems to be where the confusion led to violence.

No matter how far Chrisean Rock pushes the boundaries of others, there always seem to be some of her fans who are willing to stand behind the Baltimore native. From constantly reconciling with Blueface to now, allegedly punching James Wright Chanel at Tamar Braxton’s concert, Rock seemingly can talk her way out of any situation, often failing to take accountability for her role in the drama. The black-haired beauty’s weekend began on a high note after getting her fake tooth resealed at the dentist, but as it comes to a close today (November 12), she’s found herself defending her behaviour at the R&B icon’s show to the masses.

After getting her smile right (as shown in the video below), Rock hit up French Montana’s birthday party to turn up with him and other celebrities. That event seemingly went down without a hitch, but we can’t say the same for the live performance the mother of one attended in her hometown on Friday (November 10) night. Initial reports allege that there was a misunderstanding between Chrisean and Tamar about whether the younger artist would be joining her on stage to perform. When she wasn’t able to sing one of her tracks for the crowd, Rock reportedly reacted by punching Wright several times, sending him to the hospital.

Chrisean Rock is used to landing herself in serious trouble when Blueface is involved. This weekend, the 23-year-old is proving that she’s capable of landing in hot water on her own accord as well. She’s been focusing on the success of her music career in recent weeks, specifically her Blueface diss track, “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” with Lil Mabu. Thanks to the hard work she’s put in, Rock was recognized by R&B icon Tamar Braxton, and offered an opportunity to address the crowd at her Friday (November 10) evening concert.

In videos circulating from the event, the Baltimore native looks to be in good spirits while turning up with Braxton backstage. The pair show off their twerking moves for the camera. In another video, Rock speaks to the audience though there appears to be an effort to have her removed from the stage. According to initial reports, the new mother missed her opportunity to perform while attempting to grab a friend from the front of the venue. This set her off, and resulted in a physical attack on James Wright Chanel that reportedly sent him to the hospital.

Braxton’s good friend LeTroy has been breaking down the drama from his perspective. He alleges that Rock was actually never meant to sing to the crowd last night. “She come to Tamar concert drunk with 1,000 people, smelling like weed, looking d**b,” he yelled into the camera while defending his friends. “Apparently she makes music, I didn’t know that,” LeTroy’s rant continued.

“Apparently she wanted to drop a beat, you know what I’m saying? So, she was mad that she didn’t get to perform! I didn’t know she was a performer, and even if I did know she was, she was not getting on the stage that everybody has worked their a** off to make! Y’all seen the video, she was up there a drunk fool,” he vented.

Chrisean Rock Punches James Wright At Tamar Braxton Concert After Missing Her Set: Report

Try as she might, Chrisean Rock just can’t seem to stay out of trouble lately. When she’s not feuding with Blueface, the new mother has seemingly taken to unleashing her anger on others who are prohibiting her from getting what she wants at that moment. On Friday (November 10) evening, reports of physical violence between Rock and James Wright began circulating on various blogs. According to insiders, Tamar Braxton brought the 23-year-old to appear at her live show as a guest performer last night. When it was time for her to go on, she was unreachable.

As a result, showrunners had no choice but to skip over Rock’s track and move on to Braxton’s next guest. According to @theneighborhoodtalk, the Baltimore native was out front attempting to get her friend inside the venue when she missed her cue. Chrisean apparently went backstage to seek out more answers, and upon entering Tamar’s dressing room, she spoke with Wright. In the middle of the man’s explanation, the reality starlet allegedly punched him in the face several times as she was under the impression he was lying to her.

A Look At Tamar Braxton’s Dating History

Tamar Braxton has undoubtedly paid her dues in the music industry. She has significantly contributed, alongside her siblings, to the growth of R&B. However, the veteran singer has not been as successful with love as with music. When it comes to romantic relationships, over the years, Braxton has opened up her heart several times.

Regardless, so far, only one of those relationships has stood the test of time. In October 2023, the singer’s most recent romance ended. Her engagement to Jeremy Robinson was called off after only a few months of being with him. Nonetheless, fans continue to root for her as she heals and eventually finds her perfect match. Until then, here are the times Tamar Braxton has taken a chance at love.

Darrell “Delite” Allamby (2000-2003)

Darrell Allamby is a Grammy-nominated record producer and songwriter. He and Tamar Braxton met in 2000 when the singer worked on her solo debut album, Tamar. While producing and co-writing “Money Can’t Buy Love” and “Once Again,” Allamby took a liking to Braxton. Evidently, Miss Braxton liked him back, and they started dating soon after. Thereafter, in 2001, the couple got married, and for two years, their relationship went strong. By 2003, however, the flame of their romance seemed to have burned out. They went their separate ways that same year and have stayed apart since then.

Vincent Herbert (2003-2017)

Vincent Herbert is a producer, songwriter, and record executive and, for a time, was Tamar Braxton’s manager. Given how long Braxton and Herbert were together, one would think or hope they would stay together forever. Well, that’s not how things played out, to the shock and dismay of some fans. After her breakup with Allamby in 2003, the stars seemed to align for Braxton when she fell for Herbert. They kicked their relationship off pretty smoothly, dating from 2003 until November 2008, when they got married.

Five years later, Logan Vincent Herbert was born, the couple’s first and only child. Meanwhile, in 2012, Braxton and Herbert premiered their reality TV series Tamar & Vince on WEtv. It was a spin-off of Braxton Family Values and ran for five seasons between 2012 and 2017. Throughout their time together, the two faced several challenges and experienced many rough patches in their relationship. However, it was in 2017 that they finally decided to call it quits. In October that year, before their ninth wedding anniversary, Tamar Braxton filed for divorce. Subsequently, their divorce was finalized in 2019.

David Adefeso (2018-2020)

Tamar Braxton and David Adefeso began dating in 2018 and often shared glimpses of their romance on social media. Adefeso, a Nigerian businessman and financial expert, gained public attention due to his relationship with the R&B star. Until 2020, when things ended between the two, things seemed to be going great. Unfortunately, it didn’t take very long to crumble. Following Braxton’s suicide attempt, it was Adefeso who found her. Braxton revealed on The Tamron Hall Show that her “household became very hard, and it was hard because I wasn’t happy at my job, and I hadn’t been happy for years.”

It all went downhill from there, even up to the point where Adefeso filed a restraining order against the singer for alleged domestic violence. Braxton has strongly denied the accusations, however, alleging instead that Adefeso cheated on her when they were together. Their relationship did not end on a good note, but they seem to have a cordial relationship nowadays. The businessman and singer have since shouted each other out on social media, causing speculations about them getting back together.

Jeremy “JR” Robinson (2023)

Tamar Braxton participated alongside Evelyn Lozada and Nivea in the recent reality TV show on Peacock, Queens Court. The series, which was created to help the three queens find true love, evidently proved successful with Braxton. The singer left the show booed up with finalist Jeremy Robinson. Although the lawyer has five children from four women, Braxton didn’t mind. She only cared about how she felt with him, and she felt good. In the finale of Queens Court that aired in March, the two got engaged.

Following their engagement, they seemed to be in a good place in the following months. However, in a surprising turn of events, it recently came out that their engagement was called off. On Monday, October 2, 2023, Robinson shared on an Instagram story that he and Braxton are no longer together. It is not yet known what exactly caused the termination of their engagement, but we do hope they both heal.

Tamar Braxton’s Fiance JR Robinson Reveals He Broke Off Their Engagement

Last month Tamar Braxton announced she was leaving Atlanta after her car was robbed stating that she felt unsafe everywhere. Fand wondered where was her new fiance as he was nowhere to be found. Now Tamar’s fiance JR Robinson has announced they have gone separate ways. Posting to his Instagram account, JR confirmed that he and the singer/TV star “are no longer together” after much speculation.

“So many questions. So many assumptions. I want to answer all that I can with respect. Yes. Tamar and I are no longer together,” JR wrote on Instagram Story on Monday, October 2. “I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person.”

JR later stressed that there’s no infidelity, noting, “What happened and why – that’s our private place. No, I never cheated. No, I wasn’t there when she was at her mothers place when her car was burglarized. No, I never cared about fame. Who reveals their most embarrassing moments in their life to find fame.”

He continued, “I have always represented famous people and the truth is I was in an amazing place financially and mentally. I turned down QueensCourt several times before I gave in. Ultimately, I fell in love and it didn’t end how I wanted it.”
Concluding his post, the attorney wrote, “So, I want to heal. Tamar and I will always be friends and family for life. Thank you for respecting our privacy.” Tamar, meanwhile, has yet to comment on their split.

Tamar and JR got engaged on the “Queens Court” finale which aired in March. “I knew I was different than my siblings,” the 45-year-old singer told JR at the time. “I prayed for somebody to understand me and not look at me and my flaws and just accept me for who I am. And then I met you. And then I saw every single that I ever prayed for as a child.”

“I thought that I just needed love. I didn’t. I needed a friend. And you’ve been that for me,” the “Celebrity Big Brother” season 2 winner explained. In response to that, JR said, “I’m not only willing, I’m ready. So much so that I don’t want to be your friend. I don’t want to be your friend. I want to be your husband.”

He later got on one knee before asking, “Tamar, I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?” Tamar said yes while getting emotional.

Singer/reality star Tamar Braxton recently revealed she was robbed where she lived in Atlanta and now she no longer feels safe at home. Tamar shared video of her car being burglarized inside her parking garage with several men slowly removing things from her vehicle. She wrote: I got robbed. At home. I’m not safe anywhere. I don’t know why I keep getting violated. I had a lot in my car cause I don’t live anywhere cause I’m not safe anywhere or with anyone

Her caption raised a flag for social media users and many questioned where was her newest fiance. Now sources are saying that Tamar is so shaken by the incident that she is thinking about leaving Atlanta for good.

Page Six reports:

After Tamar Braxton revealed on social media Monday that her car was burglarized at her Atlanta apartment building we’re told that she’s planning on moving out of the building — and she event wants to leave the city.

“She is highly pissed and freaked out. Now she wants to move out of the luxury building and wants to remove herself from ATL completely” said a source, “But that would be hard to do because she works for Dish Nation, which tapes in Atlanta.”

Surveillance video of the incident shows four men removing goods from her black Bentley.

“Expensive clothing items was taken from her car,” said the source, “She is talking to building security as to how the robbers gained access to the building in the first place and feels like there should be some type of compensation for her losses.”
