The dynamic pair Quavo & Takeoff have made a comeback with “Nothing Changed,” their most recent single.
The newest track from their much-awaited joint album Only Built For Infinity Links, set for release on October 7th, is titled “Nothing Changed.” Quavo and Takeoff are in the zone on the hard-hitting new song, creating a contagious chord between their catchy melodies and rapid-fire pace.
The new song follows a string of critically lauded hits, including “Us vs. Them” with Gucci Mane, “Big Stunna” with Birdman, and “Hotel Lobby,” whose music video has amassed over 30 million views on YouTube and already earned an RIAA Gold certification.
Quavo and Takeoff are ready to drop their debut duet album, Only Built 4 Infinity Links. The album carries a title very similar to the classic album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, commonly known as The Purple Tape, by Raekwon.
TMZ caught up with Quavo at the airport and questioned him about the album’s title, but the hitmaker let the Wu-Tang legend know the album would be a banger when he reached out for approval.
“We most definitely hollered at Raekwon,” Quavo said. “It was all love. We gave him respect and let him know that it would be an honor. We told him it was inspired by y’all, and we most definitely got respect for the OGs.”
The tracklist for Only Built 4 Infinity Links is now available ahead of the OCt. 7 drop. Infinity Links will feature Mustard, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Young Thug, Gunna, Summer Walker, Birdman, and Gucci Mane.
As much as they are icons of rap, Quavo and Takeoff are icons of fashion. Announcing their new album Only Built For Infinity Links, the two stars are laced in Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga on the album artwork.

And now, we know the title of their upcoming duo album thanks to a trailer shared on Quavo’s social media pages (but not the Migos pages or Takeoff’s pages, further complicating the issue). It’s ironic that the new album they just announced evokes the name of a Wu-Tang Clan member’s classic solo debut because the rollout has been one big Wu-Tang caliber question mark. Only Built For Infinity Links is due on October 7, giving them a full 30 days to sort this rollout and get fans invested.
They’re already well on the way with “Hotel Lobby” and its follow-up, “Big Stunna” featuring Birdman, but fans can’t help questioning whether this really means the end of Migos, especially since Offset has been teasing his own solo project. While each member of the group did release a solo project a few years ago and Quavo has even done group projects with other artists, the trio did make clear that they would reunite after all three individual albums were out. This time, it’s anybody’s guess, and that could work in their favor if fans decide to check out the two albums they’ve got coming out of curiosity, but it could also backfire, since fans love them so much as a trio.
Either way, we’ll find on 10/7 when Only Built For Infinity Links drops on Quality Control Music.
