YesJulz Reveals Why She Supports Kanye West Despite $8M Lawsuit

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Kanye West’s former promoter YesJulz was fired. Allegedly, she was engaging in unauthorized activity on multiple platforms, though she denies this. She’s also being sued for $8 million for allegedly violating an NDA. Despite all of this, the personality continues to support Ye, even sharing a clip of him on Twitter/X today and praising his “energy.” For obvious reasons, this has taken many fans by surprise, so she decided to follow up with an explanation.

According to YesJulz, she doesn’t believe that Ye is truly behind the lawsuit, instead speculating that Milo Yiannopoulos is behind it. She also notes that the Chicago MC believed in her when others didn’t, which she’ll always respect and appreciate him for. The influencer claims that until the lawsuit moves forward, she’ll continue to pray for his success.

Ja Rule Backs Diddy Amid Sexual Abuse Allegations: “I Believe In Justice”

Since Cassie filed her bombshell lawsuit against Diddy in November, the Bad Boy Records founder has been hit with a slew of additional allegations. Most recently, he was accused of sexual misconduct against producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who alleges he was groped by the mogul. While the disturbing allegations have left the hip-hop community largely divided, he continues to receive support from several of his peers.

During a recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, for example, Ja expressed sympathy for both Diddy and his alleged victims. While he chose not to speak on any of the allegations in particular, he wished luck to all those involved. “It’s another Black man in this industry going through some unfortunate circumstances,” he explained. “I wish him luck with everything he’s going through — and if there’s victims in this. I can’t speak on things that I don’t know about, Piers … but I wish everybody love.”

Ja Rule Weighs In On Diddy’s Onslaught Of Lawsuits

Ja Rule continued, asserting his belief that one’s punishment should align with their alleged wrongdoings. “It’s a very unfortunate thing for the victims of these situations, and for the people who are also being accused of these situations,” he said. “I believe in justice and I believe in the punishment fitting the crime.” He went on to argue that those making false accusations should be put behind bars.

“If people get convicted of the things these people are saying then they should be put in jail. Juicy J Picks Megan Thee Stallion Over Nicki Minaj, Co-Signs “HISS”

Juicy J has seemingly taken a side in the beef between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, although it’s not an overt line in the sand. Still, there are very little other ways to interpret his support on Twitter of the latter’s newest single “HISS,” which is what ignited this outright battle in the first place. However, it wasn’t the song to start this spat, as the two sent subliminal shots at each other long before Queen Barb retaliated with “Big Foot.” You can also argue that this fiery revisit mostly owed itself to Nicki’s response to the “Megan’s Law” bar seemingly referencing her husband’s sex offender status, but that could apply as a general line in a lot of circumstances.

Furthermore, Juicy J didn’t like a tweet shading Nicki Minaj, retweet a disparaging comment, or say anything about the beef specifically. He simply quote-tweeted “Let’s go!” on a promotional video and thankful message from Megan Thee Stallion for fans’ support, encouraging them to keep watching the music video and listening to the track. For those unaware, the Three 6 Mafia legend and the Houston superstar have collaborated often in the past, such as 2019’s “Three Point Stance” with additional support from the City Girls. As such, this respect between collaborators is hardly surprising.

Another example came as recently as last August, when Megan Thee Stallion and Juicy J filmed a TikTok together. Regardless of that bond, he didn’t really ever outwardly diss or suggest any animosity with Nicki Minaj, another MC that he worked with in the past on tracks like 2014’s “Low” with Lil Bibby and Young Thug. With that in mind, we don’t think this endorsement is anti-Roman, but rather just an artist supporting another. Perhaps there’s more behind-the-scenes tea about this that we’re still not privy to.

However, he dodged a question about it during a podcast appearance shortly after, which got fans even more worried. Even though we shouldn’t hold anyone to any standard based solely on their political opinion, listeners simply wanted a more elaborate explanation as to why. Well, they just got it, as the Black Soprano Family boss appeared on The Breakfast Club for a wide-ranging interview. Moreover, he reflected a little bit more than last time about what that tweet means to him, and whether he stands by it today.

“People in our position ain’t supposed to speak on their political candidates,” Benny The Butcher expressed. “I also learned everybody voting for Trump, you know what I’m saying? Only president I voted for was Obama, so I really was just talking s**t. A lot of times, African Americans, we vote Democrat, and what the f**k that been doing for us? That’s all I mean, like, what the Democrats been doing for us? I was expressing my frustrations on that. I don’t know who I’m voting for.”

Recently, NYC-based activist Tamika Mallory took to social media to offer her support to Chrisean Rock. Chrisean just recently had her first child, a son named Chrisean Jr., with Blueface. Since he arrived, she’s been subject to a great deal of criticism online. Most recently, she was spotted at Walmart with the newborn, and the child appeared to be improperly secured in his carrier. This got a lot of attention, with many claiming that she was putting him at risk.

Blueface has also been quick to judge Chrisean, accusing her very early on of not making him her top priority. With that being said, adjusting to new motherhood is no easy feat. Mallory wants to make sure that the 23-year-old feels properly supported in her journey. She wrote a message to the reality star today, letting her know that she and other women have her back.

Tory Lanez was making a ton of headlines yesterday as his sentencing hearing took place. People were anticipating his sentence to come down swiftly. However, that is not at all how things played out. Instead, the judge had numerous people speak during the proceedings. The entire hearing played out throughout the afternoon and it never concluded. According to Meghann Cuniff, the judge decided that Tory’s sentencing would continue today. This subsequently kicked off another wave of anticipation.

Moreover, we even found out that numerous people sent letters to the judge, vouching for Tory. For instance, Iggy Azalea was one of the people who reached out. Overall, this led to a ton of backlash. Although, it doesn’t seem like Iggy cares about your criticisms. As for Tory’s fans, they are hoping for a light sentence. Some of them were even at the hearing yesterday. This includes the woman below, who was recently posted on The Neighborhood Talk Instagram page.

As you can see, this young fan is absolutely livid with Megan Thee Stallion. The woman claimed that she hates Meg and that supporting Tory is costing her a lot of money. She says that she had to take time off work in order to come to the courthouse. Moreover, she lives pretty far away, which made it a long trek. In her eyes, without Meg, this whole situation would have never happened. It was a bizarre rant that invoked a whole lot of victim-blaming. Whether or not this woman will return for day 2 of Tory’s sentencing, remains to be seen.

Tory Lanez is currently facing 13 years in prison, at least that is if the prosecution gets its way. Fat Joe Believes Meagan Good Is Right In Supporting Jonathan Majors In Court

Moreover, a high-profile part of his public goings-on has been his relationship with Meagan Good, who showed up in court to support him. While this has been a source of controversy for many, Fat Joe believes that this is exactly what a partner should do in these cases. In a video clip, he expressed that this is what he would want if he was in Majors’ shoes. However, he also made it clear that Good’s support is no excuse for the Creed III star’s actions.

“Let me tell you something, hand to hand to his court case,” Fat Joe remarked (which comes much later in the video below). “Now as far as I’m concerned they only been dating for a little while, and so the pastor prepped her to be a good woman. Boosie Badazz Calls Bobby Shmurda “One Of The Realest” Young Rappers

During a recent appearance on the Whoos House podcast, Boosie Badazz gave praise to Bobby Shmurda. He suggested that Shmurda’s six years of prison time ought to be “saluted,” claiming that he has more to show for his lifestyle than some of his peers. Boosie had previously shown his respect for Shmurda’s refusal to “snitch” amid his charges. “SOLID AS A ROCK!!” he said in 2019. “It’s a shame how the world don’t glorify the REAL ONES SMH. Rats get mo love then the stand up guys.” Shmurda served time for conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon.

Shmurda recently appeared on The Danza project podcast, where he discussed the influence of rap on the younger generation. “These kids are following you guys, and you’re rapping about these f*cking lifestyles…and it’s very dangerous to the communities [because] these little kids [really] think that [it’s] going on, and you did not even live [any] [of] [it],” he explained. The artist went on to say, “Rap is supposed to be telling motherf*ckers to go from negative to positive, coming from poverty to go to riches…and how to stay in that and how to change. That’s the sh*t that I want to hear. I wanna hear about living life…”

Janelle Monae On Supporting LGBTQ Community: “I Will Never Sit Back & Be Silent”

Janelle Monae says that they will “never sit back and be silent” about injustices facing the LGBTQ community. The singer discussed the recent passage of laws across the U.S. targeting drag as well as trans people during an interview with NBC4 Washington.

When asked how to respond to the oppressive laws, Monae said: “You respond by fighting back, by speaking out against, standing with our trans community, my siblings. As a nonbinary, queer, pansexual person, I am proud to be in this community. I will never sit back and be silent about the injustices that are happening against our trans community.”

It’s not the first time Monae has addressed the topic. They also spoke about supporting the LGBTQ community during a recent interview with The Sydney Morning Herald. “There are a lot of laws being put in place around my trans family and the LGBTQI+ communities and even Black folks — you can’t even talk about certain things in school anymore,” they said at the time. “Those who are trans, they’re literally trying to erase their existence and not treat them with human decency. So, of course we fight, but even in the middle of the fight we take time to find joy.”

Monae also remarked: “I feel like I’m one of the most vocal, loud and proud, pansexual, queer, non-binary, black folks who have a platform! I feel I’ve said a lot. I don’t feel uncomfortable now, thank God. But I know there are a lot of people who may be uncomfortable with it, who don’t have to feel rushed or forced into talking about something that is private for most folks. There is no right or wrong way to talk about being in the LGBTQI+ community. As long as it’s with love, it’s fine.”
