Kyrie Irving Faces $390k Lawsuit Over Chaotic Family Retreat

Kyrie Irving is facing a $390K lawsuit from a wellness company that accuses him of leaving a hefty bill unpaid. The company made the allegation in a lawsuit filed on Monday in New York, according to TMZ Sports. The company, Elite Mind Solutions, claims Irving asked them to cater to 50 to 60 attendees for a family retreat from June 28 to July 2 but upped the headcount to 115 just days before. Then, on the day of, he allegedly brought 150 people.

Elite Mind Solutions further claims an attendee unexpectedly died during the event, which prompted the use of crisis intervention services. The filing notes that “continuation was only possible due to Plaintiff’s extraordinary efforts.” They say that altogether, the event racked up a bill of $390,710, which the Dallas Mavericks star has allegedly completely ducked paying. “[Irving] knowingly accepted these services and derived significant benefits from them,” the complaint reads. “Yet they refuse to compensate Plaintiff.”

Part of the reason Elite Mind Solutions trusted Irving’s promise to “handle all costs” was because they had a good relationship with him since 2020. “Defendants made false representations… with the intent to induce Plaintiff to continue performing services,” the lawsuit claims. “Mr. Irving and his company benefited enormously from Plaintiff’s services, including the continuation of the retreat in the wake of a tragic incident.” Altogether, the lawsuit accuses him of unjust enrichment and fraud.

Irving has yet to respond publicly to the lawsuit. He’s currently focused on his season with the Dallas Mavericks as the team stands at 13-8 and in 5th place in the Western Conference. He and the team will take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night.

P-Lo Is Ready To Highlight The Bay Area’s Music At The 2025 NBA All-Star Game

The NBA is heading to the Bay Area for All-Star weekend in 2025, as the Golden State Warriors and the Chase Center will play host to the league’s annual midseason showcase. The weekend is a celebration of the very best the NBA has to offer, and even as Adam Silver and co. seem hell-bent on fixing some perceived problems with the All-Star Game itself, the opportunity to gather and acknowledge how great the game of basketball can be makes the whole weekend worth it.

Beyond the celebration of the sport, All-Star weekend doubles as an opportunity to celebrate the host city. This time around, that means celebrating the Bay Area as a place that has made countless contributions to the worlds of basketball, music, and culture, and one way that’s happening is an upcoming project via Golden State Entertainment, the Golden State Warriors’ record label: For The Soil, a full-length, All-Star themed album that features some of the most prominent names from the Bay.

That includes P-Lo, who is spearheading the project in conjunction with Golden State Entertainment. So far, we’ve gotten one song that will appear on the album, “Players Holiday ’25,” which features P-Lo and a who’s who of big names from the Bay: Saweetie, G-Eazy, LaRussell, Larry June, Kamaiyah, Thuy, and YMTK. Other Bay Area icons, like E-40 and Too Short, will also appear on the album when it releases in 2025 — P-Lo was asked by GSE if he wanted to get any artists who weren’t from the Bay Area, but he wanted to “make sure we’re all represented.” And besides, it’s not like booking talent was hard once he started to ask around.

“Oh, no no no,” P-Lo responded when DIME asked if it was at all difficult to recruit artists from the Bay. “I think it’s a testament to all those great artists and my relationships with them. It was nothing but a, ‘Hey, I’m doing this, doing this with the Warriors, I need you on this.’ And everyone just kind of like jumped on board. And I think that’s something so special about the Bay, because I think people understand the bigger picture of what’s going on, everyone’s down to do it. So, it was dope, especially, like, ‘Players Holiday,’ for all those artists to come together on one day, I don’t think that ever happens — just everyone’s schedule and all that stuff. And it was perfect.”

P-Lo — a longtime Warriors fan who has done everything from providing in-arena music to enjoying Hennessy on Klay Thompson’s float during one of the team’s championship parades — described the environment on the set for the “Players Holiday ’25” video as “amazing,” as the opportunity to get that much talent and creativity into one place with a collection of “good people” is not something you see every day. He offered an anecdote to show just how special this project was, as he said Kamaiyah and G-Eazy couldn’t believe Larry June was part of the track because both of them reached out to him with songs in the past, and both times, they were left on read.

It was, of course, an opportunity to create something cool that represents the culture of uniqueness and innovation which defines the Bay — P-Lo wants the entire album to showcase that exact thing. But as you watch the video for “Players Holiday ’25,” you can’t help but notice that a core value that has come to define Steve Kerr’s tenure as head coach of the Warriors is prevalent. Kerr has spent years talking about the importance of joy in how Golden State operates, and P-Lo confirmed that the feeling of joy was everywhere on set.

“That’s literally what it was — literally, everyone was like, happy to be around each other, everyone was just happy just to see unity,” P-Lo says. “And I think we’re taking from the team, and strength in numbers, and being this deep team. And I feel like that’s what the Bay Area rap scene is — we’re deep, we’re strong, and we want to represent the Warriors.”

As for those Warriors, the team is doing an excellent job of generating some excitement ahead of the All-Star Game. The team is currently 12-7, which puts them in fourth place in the Western Conference at this early point in the season. All P-Lo wanted was for the team to get off to a hot start, one that would afford them a bit of a cushion once the slog that is the middle of the season rolled around.

He’s especially happy with the team’s depth, even after De’Anthony Melton tore his ACL. Despite the fact that they weren’t able to pull off a big swing for a star on the trade market, P-Lo expected that the Warriors would win a bunch of games due to the veteran additions they made in the summer — Melton, Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson — and of course, having things like an Andrew Wiggins bounce back, Draymond Green still being Draymond Green, and Steph Curry playing at an elite level this late into his career helps, too.

“I knew this was going to be a deeper team, especially with all those veterans coming in,” P-Lo says. “But I didn’t expect us to start out this fast, though. Like, I knew we were going to be a good team, but I didn’t expect us to be first in the West off the rip.”

Curry is almost certainly going to play in the All-Star Game, and if the team keeps winning, there’s a chance Kerr ends up coaching one of the teams under the NBA’s new format in his home building. Maybe someone like Jonathan Kuminga will do the Dunk Contest, maybe there will be a Warriors team during the Skills Challenge, and at the very least, it sure seems like Curry is going to run back his shooting competition with Sabrina Ionescu, with Caitlin Clark and a familiar friend joining this time around.

Hometown teams are usually well-represented at All-Star, and the Warriors certainly will be. But whether it was J-Cole performing in Charlotte, Chance the Rapper performing in Chicago, or any number of other examples, the music that is synonymous with a city is an important part of the weekend, too, and P-Lo will play a major role this time around in making sure that happens.

“I just want to showcase all the talent we have, all the great, unique artists that we have,” P-Lo says. “And really, because I feel like the Bay Area is always like underrepresented — whether it’s media or hip-hop or anything, we’re always like the underdog. So, one of the main things that I wanted to do is just make sure that we’re represented during that time, and we made sure that we’re having our stuff being played during All-Star, because All-Star is such a big event, not only for basketball fans, but just in general.

“So it’s like, there’s going to be so many people, so many different companies, everyone’s going to be out here for All-Star. And I just wanted to make sure that we’re represented and make sure that we’re heard.”

Bronny James Earns Rare Praise From His G-League Teammate

Bronny James is getting plenty of love from his new teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers’ G-League affiliate team. 21-year-old Armel Traore caught up with TMZ at LAX and in doing so, praised the son of NBA legend LeBron James. “He’s my guy,” the small forward said. “And I like everyone on the team, we’re a family.”

Of being in the G-League himself, Traore added: “I’m blessed to be here. Just wanna keep going, it’s just the start. Every time I get my chance in the big gym, I’m showing my stuff, and in the G League, play my game.” Traore signed a two-way contract with the South Bay Lakers after going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft. He’s from Créteil, France.

The Lakers selected Bronny with the 55th overall pick in the same draft in which Traore went unselected. After Bronny started out the season with the main team, head coach JJ Redick adjusted his standing to being a “fluid” member of the G-League. “Our plans are always fluid based on real time,” Redick told reporters, earlier this season, as caught by ESPN. “I believe we have two guys dressing today that as of yesterday we’re not dressing out. The plan for Bronny to move between the Lakers and South Bay has always been the plan since day one. [General manager] Rob [Pelinka] and I have talked about that. LeBron’s talked about that.”

Yung Miami & Stefon Diggs Spark Dating Rumors After Evening At Same Restaurant

It’s been an undoubtedly tough year for Yung Miami. Her ex-fling Diddy was hit with a barrage of lawsuits from women and men accusing him of sexual assault, abuse, and more. He’s since been arrested and remains behind bars facing charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. During an episode of her podcast Caresha Please, she confirmed that she never experienced abuse at the hands of the Bad Boy founder. Regardless, she admitted that his public downfall has been difficult to watch, particularly when she often finds herself at the center of scrutiny.

Fortunately, however, it looks like the “CFWM” rapper could have a new relationship underway to brighten up her holiday season. Recently, she was spotted at Carbone Miami the same night as Stefon Diggs, leaving social media users to speculate. According to The Shade Room, she also posted a photo of a decorated room with the number 31 in it on her Instagram Story before quickly deleting it. Diggs turned 31 on Friday (November 29).

Yung Miami & Stefon Diggs Both Enjoy A Night At Carbone Miami

Previously, Tia Kemp also claimed to have seen Yung Miami at a football game wearing someone’s jersey, though she didn’t specify who. Obviously, it’s possible that Yung Miami was at Carbone for something other than Diggs’ birthday celebration. It’s also possible that she just attended as a friend. For now, it remains to be seen whether or not either of them will address the dating rumors publicly. Yung Miami is not the only woman Diggs is rumored to have been involved with in recent months either. In October, DJ Akademiks alleged that the athlete slept with Cardi B.

She quickly took to Instagram Live to respond to this allegation, leaving her fans in the dark. “The internet is ins*ne,” she explained. “All these rumors are so f*cking cr*zy. That’s why I don’t want to address it because I feel like it’s funny. I’mma just let it ride out, cuz I think it’s cute, it’s funny.”

Watch Shaboozey’s Entire Halftime Show Performance From Bears-Lions On Thanksgiving

The NFL kicked off its Thanksgiving slate on Thursday afternoon with an NFC North showdown between the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions. It’s a matchup between two teams that bookend the division standings — the Lions are on top, the Bears are in the basement — but part of what makes the Thanksgiving games interesting despite that is the pageantry of the whole thing.

Of course, there was CBS sending its top crew, the celebration of John Madden, and all the fun little touches that come from games taking place on Thanksgiving. And of course, while it’s not the Super Bowl halftime show, fans at the stadium and watching on television got treated to a performance while both teams made their ways into their respective locker rooms.

While Lainey Wilson is scheduled to perform during Giants-Cowboys and Lindsey Stirling is the halftime show during Dolphins-Packers, Shaboozey took the stage at Ford Field during the early game. Unsurprisingly, he performed his smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” along with “Last of My Kind” and “Highway.”

If you’d like to watch the full performance, you can do that right here. While Shaboozey performed, the Lions were certainly the happier of the two teams in the halftime locker room, as they held a 16-0 lead and limited the Bears to only 53 yards of total offense in the first half.

Kevin Hart Hilariously Accuses Bryce James Of Lying Like His Dad LeBron

Kevin Hart, Druski, and LeBron James’ son Bryce recently joined Kai Cenat for a livestream. Unsurprisingly, this resulted in plenty of hilarious moments. At one point in the stream, for example, Cenat asked Bryce if he knew how to cook, to which he said yes. When asked what he cooks, however, Bryce’s answer made Hart suspicious. “A lot, man. I can cook a lot,” he said. “Um… Pasta, steak, alfredos.”

Hart wasn’t about to let this response slide and quickly called the 17-year-old out. “I’mma tell you what I’m really good at,” he began. “I’m good at recognizing a liar when I see one. That boy just lied. When he said pasta and steak, he didn’t give you any type of specifics. He didn’t say man I’m a ribeye guy, I’m a bone-in guy, I can get on the grill.” He went on to quiz Bryce, questioning what kind of steaks he likes to cook. Bryce was able to answer this but stayed quiet when asked to elaborate on the process itself.

Bryce James, Kevin Hart, And Druski Join Kai Cenat For Livestream

Of course, the funny moment has social media users joking that Bryce’s father passed down his lying genes, though it remains unclear whether or not he really throws down in the kitchen. This was far from the only notable part of the stream, as Hart also left the rest of the group in shambles by hanging up on LeBron. Bryce had FaceTimed the athlete, much to the excitement of Druski and Cenat, while Hart looked unimpressed. Ultimately, Bryce handed his phone to Hart, who nonchalantly ended the call without even saying goodbye.

These aren’t the only special guests to join Kai Cenat’s stream, either. Earlier this week, he also linked up with Sexyy Red, though her appearance was far more controversial. Viewers accused her of snorting cocaine after a clip of her raising something towards her face went viral. She quickly clarified that she was actually rolling a blunt.

Serena Williams Faces Skin-Bleaching Accusations As Fans Question New Video

Serena Williams recently took to social media to share a fun clip alongside her husband. Unfortunately, however, the clip has left some social media users concerned. The tennis star started trending on X today as users pointed out her skin tone in the clip, arguing that it looks much lighter than before.

“That’s really Serena Williams? Has she bleached her skin?” one user asks. “This what happens when you get with them rich white men,” someone else claims. While many commenters are pointing at alleged skin bleaching as the culprit for Williams’ seemingly lighter skin, others argue that there are plenty of other things that could be to blame. Several users argue that this could be a case of an incorrect makeup shade, poor lighting, or a filter. Others theorize that it could be due to Williams spending less time in the sun playing tennis than usual these days.

Social Media Users Think Serena Williams’ Skin Looks Lighter

At the time of writing, Williams has not addressed the skin-bleaching allegations. She’s far from the only celebrity who’s dealt with them, however. In August of this year, Cardi B was also accused of bleaching her skin but wasted zero time shutting down the allegations. According to her, she was anemic during her pregnancy with her third child. “Bleaching while pregnant😒😒😒? Why must yall be so d*mb? Actually NO! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic, this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale. Eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy…. PLEASE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A**HOLE,” she wrote.

Doja Cat has also fallen victim to these kinds of accusations, including in 2020. At the time, she didn’t hesitate to fire back. “Hey, how about I’m half white, not entirely Black?” she said. “My skin gets very light when I don’t tan. I was staying in doors a lot before that shoot. New f***ing subject. Dumba**es.”

Stephen A Smith Admits He Never Thought Donald Trump Was Racist

Stephen A Smith has weighed in on the results of the 2024 presidential election, in which Donald Trump retook the White House. Speaking with Bill Maher on the latest episode of the Club Random podcast, Smith explained that he doesn’t view Trump as racist and admitted he used to be friendly with him.

“If we’re being totally honest, all the brothers found him to be cool. They found him to be very cool. So, let’s be clear. Because he knew his sports, all right? He would say what he feel, he bucked the establishment, which we love, and we gravitated to that,” Smith said. From there, Maher chimed in to suggest that Trump isn’t genuinely “hateful.” “Is he really, like, in his heart, like hateful? No. I don’t think his motivation is ‘I don’t like black people.’ I think his motivation is ‘Everybody must love me,’” Maher stated. Smith added: “I have never called him a racist. I have never spoken about him that way. Ever. Not one time. Not one time. Because I knew him beforehand.”

Jake Paul Reveals Staggering Earnings From Mike Tyson Fight

Earlier this month, Jake Paul went head-to-head with Mike Tyson in a highly anticipated boxing match. Ultimately, Paul came out victorious, earning mixed reactions from viewers. While some couldn’t believe that the internet personality beat the legendary athlete, others weren’t surprised. After all, Tyson is over 30 years Paul’s senior and suffered a medical emergency just a few months ago.

Despite the outcome of the fight, Tyson was widely praised for taking on the challenge in the first place. Many also noted how he made roughly $20 million just for participating, an offer that would be undoubtedly tough to turn down. As for Paul, he opened up about his impressive earnings during a recent appearance on his brother Logan’s Impaulsive podcast. According to him, it was certainly the most he’s ever made, and likely the most he ever will.

Jake Paul Says Mike Tyson Fight Earned Him The Most Money He’s Ever Made

“Is it true that you made $170 million from this fight?” Logan asked. “I made a lot of money, the most money I’ve made ever,” his brother responded. “250 million people. It’s all downhill from here, I peaked.” While Paul didn’t provide his supporters with an exact figure, it’s safe to say that it was no measly payday. He isn’t the only one looking back on the fight fondly, as shortly after he lost, Mike Tyson took to X with an uplifting statement.

“This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time,” he wrote. “I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won. To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you.”

Jalen Rose Pokes Fun At Drake Lawsuit During TNT Sports Segment

Drake is such a big artist that everything he does gets magnified. He’s been the biggest rapper in the world for a decade and a half. It’s mostly been smooth sailing, but 2024 has been a different story. The 6 God has received ridicule and pushback from seemingly every direction, whether it be from fans or other artists. This unfortunate pattern has carried on the week of Thanksgiving. Drake announced plans to file a lawsuit against Universal Music Group and Spotify for artificially inflating Kendrick Lamar’s streaming numbers. It’s been such a talking point that even Jalen Rose got in on the fun.

Jalen Rose filled in for Kenny Smith on Inside the NBA on Tuesday evening. Rose was flanked by Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson, Jr. At one point during the broadcast, the song “tv off” from Kendrick Lamar’s new album, GNX, can be heard playing in the background. Jalen Rose took note of the song, and jokingly voiced concern that TNT could be in legal trouble if Drake is watching. “I don’t know if y’all should be playing that Kendrick,” he quipped. “Y’all gonna get a lawsuit up here.” Shaq, Chuck, and Ernie were taken aback by Jalen Rose’s comments, but they laughed nonetheless.

Jalen Rose Joked About Drake Suing Inside The NBA

“Lawsuits don’t scare us around here,” Ernie Johnson, Jr. jokingly remarked. This is not the first time that Inside the NBA has alluded to the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle during its broadcast. At the very peak of the battle, Lamar’s “Euphoria” was played during a return from commercial. Kenny Smith stepped in and joked that the producers were going to get them roped into the middle of the battle. “What are you all putting us in the middle of the rap beef, man? Come on, man,” he said, much to the amusement of his peers. “You got Kendrick playing, we right in the middle of the rap beef! We in the middle of the rap beef man, we gon’ play one side, we gotta play the other now.”

Drake filed a second lawsuit for defamation the same day the TNT broadcast made light of his issues with UMG. The rapper claimed that UMG conspired to boost Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which has “falsely accusing him of being a sex offender.” He believes the label should have stepped in and stopped the release of the song, given that the claims in the song are false.
