Destiny’s Child Reunites At Beyonce’s “RENAISSANCE” Film’s World Premiere

Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE film just had its world premiere in Hollywood over the weekend, and a lot of celebrities showed out in their best for the occasion. Lori Harvey, Chlöe, Halle Bailey, DDG, Tina Lawson, Matthew Knowles, Janelle Monáe, Victoria Monét, and so many others popped out to have a great time. Most notably, though, this event also brought about another Destiny’s Child reunion, which is always amazing to see. Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland looked stunning, whereas OG members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett also came dressed to impress.The only other name missing- aside Queen Bey herself, who didn’t appear on the “chrome” carpet for the premiere- was Farrah Franklin, and the reason for her absence is publicly unknown.

Regardless, it’s still great to see the R&B icons have a ball together again, and come together for a monumental occasion. In fact, the RENAISSANCE film features some moments dedicated to capturing Destiny’s Child’s reunion at the Houston Homecoming show for the tour. “It was like a new birth for us, and a lot of healing,” Beyonce said in a narration over the footage. Maybe this won’t be the last we’ll hear from these female singers, as 2023 marks the 25th anniversary of the group’s debut album.

After all, Matthew Knowles hinted at a comeback in May of this year. “It’s a decision that the ladies would have to make,” he explained. “And I would certainly, certainly support that decision as I still manage Destiny’s Child. I would love to see that as well. I think the fans will be just overjoyed, overwhelmed. And hopefully they do one last time in their career. Hopefully they give us one last album. Who knows? You never know. You never say it can’t happen. Because this is entertainment. A lot of things can happen.”

Chrisean Rock Seems Open To Blueface Reunion: “Let Me Know”

Fans were surprised when they saw Chrisean Rock and Blueface get together for Thanksgiving yesterday, but it looks like there isn’t as much animosity there as they had assumed. During an Instagram Live earlier this week, Chrisean made it seem as if she hasn’t completely ruled out the idea of rekindling their relationship. Things have gotten pretty ugly between the two of them in the months since Chrisean Jr.’s birth, and fans were under the assumption that they were over for good. Seeing as though they’ve shocked the internet more than a few times with their relationship antics, however, it’s not impossible.

“We both dealing with the same things,” the Baddies star said during the live. “So, if we want the same thing, let me know.” Obviously, a reunion would be pretty complicated at this point, as Blueface is now engaged to the mother of his first two kids, Jaidyn Alexis. Chrisean has previously stated, however, that she believes Blueface only proposed to make her jealous. In the days following the proposal, she even claimed that Jaidyn’s ring was originally meant for her.

Even if they don’t return to their famously tumultuous romantic relationship, it’s safe to say that fans would like to see them remain on better terms. They have a child to raise now, after all, who deserves peace between his parents. Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold even seems happy that the two of them got together for the holiday. She did, however, take the opportunity to throw a bit of shade at Chrisean.

Blueface & Chrisean Rock Spend Thanksgiving Together, Put Issues Aside For Their Kid

Despite all the rough patches, breakups, and fights that they’ve been through, Chrisean Rock and Blueface still have love for each other. Moreover, the two recently reunited for Thanksgiving, spending some quality time with his kids and with their son, Chrisean Jr. Overall, it seemed like quite the wholesome affair, with each rapper and reality TV star looking like it was all smiles as they hung out with their family. At the very least, it’s a breath of fresh air compared to how much their toxic dynamic manifested in online feuds and the like. We’re sure that won’t stop anytime soon, but for a holiday of thankfulness, we’re happy to see them come together.

Furthermore, even Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, had to speak on this reunion with Chrisean Rock. “That’s right son you don’t owe no one but them kids,” she wrote on her Instagram Story, reacting to Chrisean’s posts of the occasion. “She only want her cut in the end. You be running around here looking like @tyrese in the end.” If you weren’t already aware, she isn’t the biggest fan of the Baddies star, and it looks like even the turkey couldn’t stop her from launching a soft jab at her.

Of course, this Thanksgiving meeting between Chrisean Rock and Blueface is also notable because of the latter’s relationship with Jaidyn Alexis. That whole side of the drama had each femcee at odds with each other, and there’s been too many left turns and reversals to accurately summarize. Still, we can safely assume that the California MC split his time between both families and was able to spend quality time with his kids on either side. If not, then we’re sure we’ll be hearing about it in the next drama cycle.

Meanwhile, it looks like Chrisean is stirring up a pot of her own when it comes to her rumored relationship status. Sukihana Fires Shots At Mariahlynn, Threatens To Fight Her At “Baddies” Reunion

Sukihana recently took to Instagram Live to make it crystal clear that she’s ready to throw down with Mariahlynn at the upcoming reunion. The fiery rapper didn’t hold back, making bold statements about her intentions to physically confront Mariahlynn when they cross paths. “I don’t know who hyped you up, to make you think you could f**k with me,” Sukihana declared, addressing Mariahlynn directly in the heated Instagram Live video. “I’m gonna f**k you up. Diddy & Shyne Surprise Fans With London Reunion: “This Is Real Love”

During a recent charity event in London, Diddy brought out a very special guest for a few songs. He surprised fans with Shyne, a former Bad Boy signee, who’s since become a politician. Shyne is now the Leader of the Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives. He performed two tracks from his 2000 self-titled debut, “Bad Boyz” and “Bonnie & Shyne.”

“Ayo Shyne, I love you from the bottom of my heart,” Diddy declared onstage. “This is real love. My brother Shyne is fighting for his people of Belize right now. He’s gonna be the future, I predicted it, Prime Minister of Belize.” Shyne also turned 45-years-old today (November 8), celebrating with a backstage birthday cake.

The rapper turned politician’s unique path will be detailed in an upcoming DJ Khaled and Roc Nation-produced documentary, The Honorable: Shyne. “Immigrating from Belize to Brooklyn as a child left to survive and thrive in the concrete jungle of New York, Hip Hop had a massive influence on my life, giving me the space and community to explore my creativity and amplify the voice of my pain and purpose,” Shyne told Billboard in October. “The difficult decisions of my life have shaped me into the person I am today, steadfast in my desire to build a better life for the people of Belize and humanity.”

Tyrese, Ginuwine & Tank Set The Past Aside To Bring TGT Back

It looks like TGT- comprised of Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank– will be making a comeback following years of feuding. Moreover, the R&B supergroup recently came together backstage and hashed things out, with Tank and Ginuwine asking Tyrese if he’s willing to split things evenly from here on out. For those unaware, they formed in 2007 but didn’t release an album until 2013, and faced internal conflict plus label issues at the time. However, it seems like the trio is really to set all that aside and continue their great work in the genre. Whether that results in a new album remains to be seen, but they’re definitely cooking something up.

“I knew it would happen,” Ginuwine captioned the aforementioned clip of the official TGT reunion. “I just want it to be perfect for each and every individual. We come together to say we are Kings so let’s move forward. Back in April of 2023, Tyrese seemingly confirmed that TGT had another album on the way coming very soon. “I got some great news for you,” he told Tank and J. Valentine on the iHeartMedia R&B Money podcast. “Atlantic Records has officially agreed to sign TGT for a second album… yeah, congratulations.” Then, the actor and Tank started to talk about what the project could look like, although they didn’t give a release date. Of course, they acknowledged that they would have to come to an agreement on these things with Ginuwine present. As such, it seems like an opportunity like this is exactly what the three needed to set their comeback up.

When it comes to famous families in music, it’s rare to see them be known purely through the music rather than as all of them being celebrities. Still, that hasn’t stopped the Mathers family from being one of the most buzzed-about and well-known. Eminem put a lot of his personal story into his music, which resulted in a couple of lawsuits and long feuds. However, now that a lot of that is in the past, it’s been interesting to see how these relationships developed. Now, for his daughter Hailie Jade’s wedding, it seems like there will be a public reunion of sorts.

Moreover, according to Page Six, the rapper’s ex-wife Kim confirmed to The US Sun that they will both attend the ceremony. In addition, she also gave some insight into what her relationship with Eminem and the rest of her kids is like these days. “Not often, but often enough!” she responded to a question about how much she’s able to see them. Even though these seem like pretty small details, they still probably warmed many fans’ hearts at the thought of how much things have changed. After all, there was a point when they likely didn’t want to even see each other.

Furthermore, Kim also remarked how Marshall Mathers walked his adoptive daughter Alaina down the aisle at her recent wedding. “He wasn’t going to miss that,” she shared, and also pointed out that their daughter Hailie was Alaina’s maid of honor. The ceremony was “extravagant” in Kim’s words, and we’d guess the one for Eminem’s biological daughter will be no different. Some people actually wondered why the Detroit MC wasn’t in any public pictures of that event. Regardless, maybe we’ll actually see this reunion in some way.

The couple haven’t been linked as an item since Cher postponed their wedding back in May. Jay Rock Shares Update On Black Hippy, Leaving The Door Open For A Reunion

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen them reunite on wax, but Black Hippy remains one of the most revered rap groups of the past few decades. Moreover, the TDE alumni (consisting of Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Kendrick Lamar) is still tight despite radio silence on release fronts– according to Rock. TMZ recently caught up with the California rapper and asked him about what the legendary collective is up to. It’s a question that fans often ask, and recently actually received an update on courtesy of label boss Top Dawg. Regardless of the hype, it seems from the 38-year-old’s words that they’re still tight, but probably won’t drop something anytime soon.

Specifically, he said that he and Kendrick are still cool despite him leaving the label, and that the same goes for the other members of Black Hippy. In addition, Jay Rock highlighted ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming release, his own, and Ab-Soul’s recently released HERBERT. With that in mind, the Watts native suggested that everyone’s too busy to work on something together. However, he didn’t close the door on it, either, so maybe he just had to be tight-lipped to not spoil the surprise.

Of course, a new Black Hippy song, album, or something else altogether sounds way too good to be true. It’s one of those 2010s hip-hop myths that seemed more and more unlikely as each MC’s career progressed. Not only that, but there’s already plenty of material between each other to enjoy, so this isn’t as mythical or awaited as some other dream rap collabs. While it’s disheartening to hear that what we have is all we’ll get, we’ve gotten no such confirmation of that from any of these artists. Still, with only teases in mind, it’s hard not to be a little skeptical.

Most importantly, each artist is still dead-set on crafting their path with patience and skill. Rock recently dropped his new single “Too Fast (Pull Over)” with Anderson .Paak and Latto, and his next album’s soon to come. All we can ask for is that they don’t forget about each other and their chemistry, whether in ten days or ten years. B.G. Returning To Cash Money Records, Birdman Claims

After being released from prison, it appears that B.G. is hitting up some old classics. “For the record, I just want n-ggas to know that my n-gga official Cash Money — ain’t no cap in that,” Birdman said during an appearance on The 85 South Show on September 8. “Ya heard me? Ain’t nobody he can ever sign with beside this shit. I’m bringing all this shit together. B.G. signed to Cash Money so y’all don’t got to hear it from nowhere else.”

It’s likely that Birdman’s vehement declaration was aimed at Gucci Mane, who had offered B.G. a $1 million record deal in 2022. “My 1017 family help me welcome home the living legend @BGHollyHood! Glad u home bruh! Got so much love and respect for u as a man and artist! Get at me, I got a milli for u! Wanna sign u to 1017!!!!! #1017Mafia,” Gucci tweeted after since-debunked claims of B.G. being released began to circulate.

Everything We Know About B.G.’s Prison Release

B.G. was released from prison earlier this week after serving 11 years on weapons and witness tampering charges. However, his release came with the standard bevy of court-mandated conditions to ensure his freedom is maintained. The rapper must attend substance dependency treatment programs. Furthermore, he must “actively pursue a GED or vocational training equivalent in order to better set him up for future employment.” Additionally, he must complete 400 hours of unpaid community service and is barred from possessing a firearm. It will be interesting how his immediate post-release life shakes out.

However, B.G. has also been shown plenty of love since getting out. The Game, Bun B, Boosie, and Mack Maine were just some of the figures texting or FaceTiming the rapper. Additionally, B.G. has also confirmed that he has new music on the way, showing that he plans on wasting absolutely no time after finally getting his freedom.
