Drake Leak: Alleged “For All The Dogs” Songs & Other Random Tracks Surface Online

Drake has published an undeniably impressive catalog, which makes us wonder just how big his collection. of throwaways is. We’ve heard a good number of them leaked by internet sleuths and industry insiders. Recently there’s been another Tems collaboration and an updated version of Scorpion‘s “Jaded” featuring Ty Dolla Sign. According to a new report from HipHopNMore, seven new alleged Drake songs appeared online today (July 4). Two of the titles are rumoured to be on his upcoming For All The Dogs album.

An official release date or tracklist for the surprise LP has yet to be confirmed by the father of one. When sharing the news along with his poetry book, all Drizzy hinted at was returning to the “old” Drake. Fans would surely be excited for a resurrection of his old self, especially after the extreme disappointment that some of them felt over his Honestly, Nevermind album last summer.

“Tried Our Best” and “I’m The Problem” are the two titles said to be appearing on For All The Dogs. Of course, neither of these has been officially confirmed as authentic Drake songs, so we suggest listening at your own risk. Others that are making waves, but not affiliated with the 36-year-old’s next LP that we know of, include “416” featuring Big Sean, “Yves Slatt Laurent,” and two separate demos of “Lose You.” Finally, we also have the original version of “Calling My Name,” one of the more popular songs from Honestly, Nevermind.

Preparing for a tour is no easy feat, but at this point in his career, Drake is obviously a pro. Earlier this week the Canadian took a trip to the nail salon, where he traded his heavily clowned yellow polish for a beautiful pink manicure that’s getting mixed reactions online. Mozzy Reportedly Arrested In Wichita Less Than Two Months After Prison Release

Mozzy fans were overjoyed when the West Coast rapper completed his 10-month prison sentence in early May. As we reported last summer, he turned himself in on federal gun charges. Still, he didn’t let being behind bars stop him from dropping bars of his own. He collaborated with friends like Baby Money and Celly Ru and left us seriously impressed with his own Kollect Kall EP back in April. Mozzy has been busy celebrating since his spring homecoming. Unfortunately, that came to an end early on Sunday (July 2) morning, when he was reportedly arrested.

Footage of the 36-year-old being detained by police in the dead of night has been appearing online. “Maaan @MozzyThaMotive came out to our city Wichita, [Kansas] for a dope a** show,” one user wrote along with their video. “Went to [an] after party and then got arrested. SMH, free Mozzy yo, f**k 12.” According to ABC News, the nightclub where the recording artist was partying was actually the scene of a shooting that left seven people shot and two trampled.

Kansas Nightclub Shooting Sees Mozzy’s Arrest

The venue is located at 222 North Washington Street. As gunfire rang out, screaming was heard coming from inside at 12:58 AM. Lt. Aaron Moses, Executive Officer of the Wichita Police Department spoke with the outlet, confirming that one person remains in critical condition. Other victims (ranging in age from 21 to 34) were transported to local hospitals for treatment and are expected to be fine.

ABC notes that “one person has been detained for questioning at this time,” though Mozzy specifically wasn’t named. However, with the videos showing the Oak Park native in the same area at the same time being detained, it’s not hard to piece the puzzle together. YSL Rapper FN DaDealer Arrested On Murder Charges: Report

YSL rapper FN DaDealer, real name Jakobe Moody, was reportedly arrested for alleged murder this week. Moreover, the report comes from 11Alive News, who obtained court documents detailing the arrest for the killing, which took the life of 28-year-old father of two, Tremaine Glasper. He is survived by the rest of the members of his family and his two young daughters. Furthermore, Moody (who is 20 years old) is accused of provoking a shooting on June 5 at the Columbia At Mechanicsville Crossing apartment complex. Police had three suspects potentially responsible for the murder, and the search for the other two is apparently still underway.

Of course, this unfortunate development adds to the mountain of legal issues that the record label’s members face. The most obvious of these is the ongoing RICO case against several members, including its founder Young Thug. As far as his side, his defense team motioned to block a police officer from the witness stand in court. Apparently, they believe that this official would have provided false information irrelevant to the case, mainly the claim that Thug cooperated with authorities regarding information on a homicide case.

Regardless, the case is still looking for jurors and has been in relative limbo for months, if not a year. What’s more is that its most recently delay came about because of defense attorney Eric Johnson. Police took custody of his laptop, on which they believe he allowed his client, YSL’s Christian Eppinger, to contact other members of the collective who weren’t caught up in the indictment. Until the court resolves his (for which a hearing will take place on July 12), the YSL trial is postponed.

Meanwhile, this news comes against the backdrop of Young Thug’s new album, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. While many celebrated his return to music despite the circumstances, it seems like the moment became bittersweet. Jacquees Put Down $40 To Bond Out Of Gwinnett County After Simple Battery Arrest: Report

The music industry can’t go more than a few days without someone breaking the internet with news of their arrest. Recently we’ve seen Boosie Badazz and Quando Rondo caught up in some serious legal drama. Now, Jacquees has joined them. On Saturday (June 24), the self-proclaimed King of R&B began trending on Twitter as an alleged mugshot hit the internet. In the photo, his face is obviously swollen, though it remains unclear exactly what resulted in such severe injuries.

As per Hollywood Unlocked, Jacquees – born Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax – was arrested in Gwinnett County on Friday night. At the time, he was charged with a misdemeanour of simple battery, plus a misdemeanour charge of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers. Arrest records shown below confirm that he was booked into the local jail at 1:26 AM. The recording artist made bond just a few hours later at 8:46 AM. His amount due was set at $3,700, and he put down just $40 to secure his release.

In the time since making it out of Gwinnett County, Jacquees has been active on Instagram and even made it over to Phoenix, Arizona for his performance and after-party. He may be getting trolled over his significantly altered appearance in his mugshot, but still, the 29-year-old definitely proved his dedication to his craft.

Thankfully, Jacquees has a few weeks to recover from the incident before heading overseas on the Sincerely For You International Tour. He’ll be kicking things off in Amsterdam on July 15 and will eventually make his way down under to Australia later on in the month.

Jamie Foxx Reportedly “Recovering Well” According To Family Member

Jamie Foxx’s health has been referred to as “the best-kept secret in Hollywood,” which is no surprise considering the conflicting reports that emerged about it. Since April of this year, when his family announced a medical emergency that left him hospitalized, many wonder what could be happening to the screen star. However, on that note of family, they reportedly visited him in rehab and to provide promising updates. Now, another undisclosed family member came forward to Page Six and said that Foxx is “recovering well.” Although the vague nature of the quote and source don’t give us a lot, hopefully this truly is someone close to his circle that is relaying accurate news.

In fact, the same could be said for many other reports on the Texas native’s condition. Moreover, Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corinne had to address media speculation amid claims that the family was “preparing for the worst.” “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild,” she wrote on Instagram. “My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”

While many are frustrated at the lack of specificity and clarity of these updates, they are coming from the 55-year-old’s family, which is the most important source in this conversation. DJ Drama’s Toronto Trip Cost $120K Extra To Return Stolen Chains, Top5 Claims

Hip-hop heads were nothing short of shocked to hear about DJ Drama’s rumoured Toronto robbery this past weekend. The Generation Now founder has yet to address the gossip himself. However, a local rapper, Top5, shared a video showing several men in ski masks proudly waving what appears to be Drama’s jewelry around while shouting out Drake. Of course, the Gangsta Grillz creative and the Canadian have resolved their beef. Still, the incident still must’ve bruised his ego, nonetheless.

A few days after the news broke, it was revealed earlier today (June 13) that Drama’s chains are on their way back to him. It remains unclear how the negotiations worked out, or how peaceful they were. According to an Instagram comment from Top5 on DJ Akademiks’ post, the price he paid to have the ice back in his possession wasn’t a small one. “$120K for the chain back, that’s a good deal ,” he wrote.

The caption of the Toronto lyricist’s original post read, “For all you that don’t post my music, and don’t play my music 2023 your chains are getting snatched. @djdrama come get [your] chain back lil boy.” Clearly, there’s beef between the pair, though we’re unsure why Drama wouldn’t play Top5’s music. As you may recall, he was previously charged with first-degree murder in late 2021 after reportedly seeking revenge for his brother’s killing.

This obviously tarnished his reputation, and things have been relatively quiet on his end since. His last single, “401” with Pressa, arrived in 2022, as did “I Miss My Dawgs” featuring Iceman and Rico Bank$. DJ Drama Robbed In Toronto By Drake Fans: Report

It’s been a tough few weeks for DJ Drama. He was not only called “a goofy over these h*es” by Meek Mill, but also was the victim of an alleged robbery in Toronto. As AllHipHop reports, the Generation Now co-founder was visiting the 6ix when he failed to “check,” ultimately resulting in his chain seemingly being snatched. It seems that moment wasn’t caught on camera. Nevertheless, the thieves have since posted up on social media. In a viral video, they’re seen showing off the loot they claim to have taken from around Drama’s neck this weekend.

Adding insult to injury, the men praise Drake (who has past beef with the Philly native) in the obnoxious video. “That’s what you f*cking get for not checking in,” they indirectly tell Drama. “Shout out boy Drizzy, eh. Triple Gs, you know how we rock.” Neither the Canadian nor his former enemy have addressed the situation on Twitter. Still, users are certainly having a field day laughing at the situation.

It’s worth noting that Drake and the Gangsta Grillz creative previously put an end to their feud. Hip-hop heads quickly realized this when they appeared on Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs” together. Things first became tense between the pair in 2015, when rumours stated that Drama is the one who told Meek Mill about his “R.I.C.O” collaborator apparently using a ghostwriter to pen the fan favourite. The incident put a major rift between Drake and the “Litty” rapper, though they later settled their differences publicly.

In other news, Champagne Papi hasn’t entirely managed to escape being embarrassed online lately either. Radar Online published the report early on Friday (June 9) morning, revealing that Cannon is under the impression his offspring would be a “mega success” in the spotlight. Despite his confidence, however, ex-wife Mariah Carey reportedly isn’t on board with the project at this time.

“Nick was sure his kids could make millions as a band, but Mariah poured cold water on his dream,” an insider recently dished to the outlet. “She’s opposed to her children sharing the spotlight with Nick’s nine other kids from five different women,” they added. Neither parent has publicly addressed the gossip at this time, though we have seen their 12-year-old twins make appearances on their social media over the years.

Of course, only time will tell if either Morrocan or Monroe has pipes like Mariah or comedy chops like Cannon. It remains unclear how the Wild ‘N Out host’s other co-parents – Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, LaNisha Cole, Bre Tiesi, and Alyssa Scott – feel about their little ones getting in on the musical action. However, seeing as many of the children are still learning how to walk and talk, it’ll likely be some time before they move on to dancing and singing.

YFN RICO Trial Adds Gunna, Young Thug, & Lil Baby To Prosecution’s Witness List: Report

Since accepting a plea deal in the YSL RICO trial, Gunna has lost a significant number of fans. This is mostly due to non-stop allegations that he snitched on Young Thug. The DS4EVER artist has consistently denied these claims. Still, a video circulating online earlier this week showed an Atlanta club coming to a stand-still as one of his verses blared through the speaker. Nevertheless, there is one group that reportedly wants to hear from Gunna – the prosecution in the upcoming YFN RICO trial.

On Thursday (June 8), it was reported that the District Attorney has offered a plea deal to YFN Lucci for 20 years, 17 to serve. Along with that came an unverified witness list for the YFN RICO trial. It includes not only Gunna’s name, but also two of his past collaborators. Below Sergio Kitchens, the document additionally lists Jeffery “Young Thug” Williams and Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones with a host of other unfamiliar figures.

Alleged YFN RICO Prosecution Witness List Surfaces Online

As HipHopDX reports, all evidence that comes forth in the YFN trial can be used in the YSL case. Both groups are facing charges under the same indictment due to their alleged ties to the Bloods. At this time, prosecutors have yet to independently verify the witness list.

YFN Lucci was previously asked to testify against Thug in late 2022. He ultimately opted out after nearly being stabbed in jail. “Any party can announce for example that Abraham Lincoln is on their witness list, but those words alone are meaningless,” attorney Drew Fielding shared of his client’s decision. “So, to be 100 percent clear, Rayshawn Bennett (YFN Lucci) will not be a witness in the YSL case.”

Can Rappers Decline to Testify?

If you’re wondering whether or not Young Thug, Gunna, and Lil Baby will be able to decline to give their testimony, Twitter users also provided some insight there. “If they’re called, their lawyers will dispute it and the state will have to show why their testimony is necessary and relevant,” @ThuggerDaily explained. “Then it will be up to the judge.”

“Of course, they will retain the fifth amendment right against self-incrimination.” They also noted that if the So Much Fun rapper’s own RICO case is still unfolding by the time YFN goes to court, “there’s pretty much no way he’d be required to testify.” Make sure to check back in with HNHH later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Rick Ross Upsets South Fulton Residents Due To Trashed Plaza Following Car Show

Though his beef with DJ Envy caused a firestorm in the media leading up to his annual car and bike show, Rick Ross’ event went over relatively smoothly. While he handed out diamond chains and other luxurious prizes to winners, the multi-talent was awarded panties from patrons, which he proudly wore on his head while cruising around The Promise Land. He also gave a great performance, tapping both Gucci Mane and Meek Mill to join him on stage, much to attendees’ pleasure.

Local police have since thanked Ross for cooperating with them in making the show a success. As you may recall, he was nearly denied a permit from Fayetteville County due to parking concerns, among other things. Ultimately, though, the Biggest Boss was able to work his charm and forge an agreement with the appropriate committees. Unfortunately, he still wasn’t able to please everyone. Especially not residents of South Fulton who were impacted by a plaza in the area being trashed.

As per Hollywood Unlocked, Ross is being blamed for the mess left behind. It’s worth noting that the area is nearly three miles away from his estate. It’s believed that those who were unable to get into the rapper’s event used the plaza as a place to party. However, his attorneys have since denied any involvement from Rozay. Beer and soda bottles left behind dangerous broken glass. Cups and other forms of litter remain in the Kroger grocery store parking lot as well.

At this time, residents are calling for the former correctional officer to step up and clean after his guests – whether they made it inside the gates or not.
