A couple of days ago, Kodak Black put out quite a distressing message on his Instagram Story. “Now I understand nobody give af about me if I ain’t paying💔 Lonely af out here bro😣”. Fans shared their thoughts in the comments section and most of them were pretty supportive. It’s not totally clear on who or what he was referring to. But given his profession, there are people out there who will claim to be your friend or say they love you. However, in reality, they could be in their life to see if they can freeload and mooch off of their wealth. Regardless of what Kodak Black was talking about, Sexyy Red wanted to make sure that she hears his sentiment.

His comments on an unnamed white rapper (perhaps a stand-in for many white artists) rubbed many fans the wrong way, especially fans of Ian. People thought that Tyler was talking about him when he spoke on white rappers mocking hip-hop, particularly the styles of MCs like Gucci Mane and Future. This is what led people to Ian, but the Hawthorne native never explicitly identified him in any way, so this is all pretty out of context. Nevertheless, The Joe Budden Podcast‘s thoughts on Tyler’s remarks are the same either way, and they discussed the implications of this conversation.

He wanted as many people as possible there, and a recently viral clip suggests that he’s probably very happy with who came through. Moreover, Uncle Murda ran into Lil Rod at the shindig amid the producer’s lawsuit against Diddy, and Rod even called the executive out for owing him money for it. “Hey everyone was invited, it was the place to be that weekend. [shrug emoji] what you want me to do? LOL,” Fif reacted to this development online.

I’ve bought every car I wanted, multiple times over.” Moreover, Fif noted that being extremely wealthy can put you at risk, as everyone’s looking to get a piece of the pie.

Yesterday (August 9), Blueface attended a court hearing, where he and his loved ones got some disappointing news. The rapper was handed a four-year prison sentence, which is far from what they had been expecting. His mother Karlissa Saffold had already been preparing to welcome him home. His manager Wack 100 predicts he’ll be out in roughly ten months. That’s if Blueface gets credit for 440 days served, and the state only makes him serve one-third of his remaining sentence.

Of course, it remains to be seen what actually plays out in this case, though the lengthy sentence has elicited big reactions nonetheless. Aside from Blueface’s parents, one person supporters have been particularly curious to hear from is Jaidyn Alexis. She has two children with the rapper, though they appear to have gone their separate ways earlier this year.

T.I. went through some legal turmoil recently, as authorities reportedly arrested him in what might be a case of mistaken identity. However, after TMZ caught up with him in Beverly Hills on Thursday (August 8), fans now know that he doesn’t feel too pressed about it. “They was just doing they job,” the Atlanta legend remarked to the interviewer about his brief run-in with the police. “Upset by it? I try to get rid of emotion and deal with the facts at hand. So once you deal with the facts at hand, your emotions ain’t involved. I don’t know, man, I mean, it sucks to say man. But at least this time, man, it was minor injury, maximum lesson learned. It’s all good. I have no interest in politics, y’all be good.”

“This case highlights a concern that the State’s Attorney has raised previously and uncovers legislative changes that should be considered to ensure fair and appropriate use of the court commissioner’s office, including allowing input from our prosecutors before an arrest warrant is issued,” a Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office representative expressed concerning the T.I. case. “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the issuance of charges and the warrant in this case.” There are still some doubts over whether this incident involved mistaken identity, though, as a woman accused him and Tiny of physical assault and harassment.

Speaking of T.I. and Tiny, the court recently dismissed a lawsuit against them alleging sexual assault. “The court agreed with Tip and Tameka that Jane Doe doesn’t appear to have any viable claims,” a spokesperson for the couple relayed to AllHipHop. “As Tip and Tameka stated three years ago, these allegations are some of the many false, salacious allegations [in] the media in a cheap attempt to extort money from them.”

“All the claims asserted in the Complaint are time-barred because the statute of limitations for such claims has long expired over sixteen years ago,” T.I. and Tiny’s attorneys posited. “Further, notwithstanding the fact that Defendants Clifford Harris (‘Mr. Harris’) and Tameka Harris (‘Mrs. Harris’) (collectively ‘Defendants’ or ‘Harrises’), deny that any of the alleged conduct even occurred, the Complaint fails to allege facts to sufficiently establish any of the claims alleged in the Complaint.”

Big Sean was supposed to be dropping as well, however, his LP, Better Me Than You, has just received a multiple week delay. Chloe Bailey has two tracks from it out right now, with those including “FYS” (F*** Your Status) and “Boy Bye”. It figures to be one of the more checked-out projects on Friday and the days after, however, some people don’t feel the same way.

One person tweeted out, “It’s finna flop bc she did this so randomly”. This user feels that because of its very minimal to non-existent rollout, the numbers might not be there. Recently, AllHipHop reported that 50 Cent came out victorious after his legal battle with former drug kingpin Cory “Ghost” Holland. Holland accused Fif of using his life story, as told on his 2007 CD Blasphemy, as the plot of his hit series Power. He hit him with a $1 billion lawsuit, though the court ultimately sided with 50 Cent.

Now, the mogul has taken to social media to share his reaction to the good news, making it clear that he never had any doubts. “Fool thought he was GHOST😆,” he wrote alongside a story about his latest legal win. “Da fvck wrong wit these 🥷🏾’s man 🤨LOL @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.”

Judge Analisa Torres ruled that Power never directly refers to Holland, which would be required for a defamation claim. She also said that any similarities between Holland’s life and the plot of the show could be mere coincidences. While the legal battle has now come to a close, things got ugly in the past, as Holland allegedly threatened Fif’s life earlier this year. “If a m*therf*cker gets killed because your m*therf*cking client threaten me and my family, file a m*therf*cking motion for that. I ain’t playing with your m*therf*cking client no more, next time he or anyone he sends pull up, f*ck the litigation,” Holland said.

“50 Cent plays games with people’s lives, he humiliates people, he comes to their homes, then plays a victim. He constantly in somebody mess. Plaintiff has warned 50 Cent, he ain’t no entertainer.” As one would expect, his legal counsel expressed serious concern about the apparent threat and told the court they would notify relevant local authorities.
