TDE’s Punch Calls Out B.Dot For His “Hater” Take On SZA

It’s no secret that SZA is one of the most successful artists of the past few years, even recently securing multiple Grammy awards for her 2022 LP SOS. According to Brian “B.Dot” Miller, however, she’s not all that she’s cracked up to be. Earlier this week, the personality took to Twitter/X to weigh in on one of Spotify’s new billboards in NYC, which gives the St. Louis-born performer her flowers for her hit track “Snooze.”

“SZA’s ‘Snooze’ is the greatest R&B song of the streaming era,” the billboard reads. B.Dot’s not buying it, chiming in with one simple word. “Propaganda,” he wrote. Of course, the remark sparked a major debate in his own replies. While some users agreed and responded with their own favorite R&B tracks, others were quick to call him out for the apparent shade. Top Dawg Entertainment executive punch even decided to weigh in, making it clear that he disagrees and suggesting that B.Dot’s stance stems from a more personal issue.

B.Dot Calls SZA’s Success “Propaganda”

“You can’t be a hater your whole life champ,” he told the journalist. “You should rebrand. lol.” B.Dot didn’t waste any time clapping back. “Wait… Are you trying to get a rise out of me punch?” he asked, prompting Punch to reply with a series of laughing emojis. It’s fair to say that Punch could be a bit biased when it comes to SZA. After all, he is the songstress’s manager. With that being said, “Snooze” is pretty iconic, and was crowned the No. 1 R&B song of the streaming era by Spotify earlier this month. The platform put Frank Ocean’s “Pink + White” just behind the record-breaking single, praising SZA for her creativity and vocal abilities.

What do you think of Brian “B.Dot” Miller’s take on SZA’s success? Do you agree that it’s all “propaganda”? What about Punch’s reaction? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Drake’s Leaked Diss Track Is Real, DJ Akademiks Seemingly Confirms

Today, a track rumored to be by Drake started making its rounds online, and many believed it was his response to the onslaught of disses he’s been hit with as of late. For one, Kendrick Lamar slammed him and J. Cole on “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin. After that, ASAP Rocky and The Weeknd seemed to throw some shade on the duo’s follow-up album, We Still Don’t Trust You. Fans had been anxiously awaiting a response from Drizzy, and this appeared to be just that.

Early on, however, it was speculated by most that the track wasn’t crafted by the real Drake, and was instead generated using AI. Regardless, fans were picking apart the song line by line, trying to decipher whether or not it was real. Now, it appears as though it’s been confirmed as legit by none other than DJ Akademiks.

DJ Akademiks Can’t Believe His Ears

Ak hopped on stream today to react to the song, reportedly dubbed “Push Ups.” The version he played, however, wasn’t the version all over social media earlier today and was instead a high-quality “official” cut. Moreover, DJ Akademiks is even featured at the end of the song. “No f*ckin’ way am I on the song,” he said upon hearing it. “Am I on the song? I’m not on the song…” Ak then played the snippet once again to verify what he had just heard, looking shocked.

While Drake has yet to confirm whether or not the song is real, Ak’s since taken to Twitter/X to share more of his thoughts on it. “HOLLY SH*T.. the MIXED MASTERED version of the TRACK iS F*CKING FIRE,” he wrote. “WHAT TOP 5 YOU SMOKING ON KENDRICK?????????” What do you think of Drake’s new diss track? DJ Akademiks, Kai Cenat, And Adin Ross React To Future & Metro Boomin’s New Album

Today, Future and Metro Boomin finally unleashed the eagerly anticipated sequel to their joint album, We Don’t Trust You. The new project, fittingly dubbed We Still Don’t Trust You, has already elicited countless responses from the artists’ fans and peers. One of the most notable talking points of the album is J. Cole’s surprise feature, as he was seemingly dissed on Kendrick Lamar’s viral verse on the first installment.

Many saw this as a major betrayal to Drake, whom Kendrick also went after on his feature. The Weeknd and ASAP Rocky appear on the album too, and are rumored to have even thrown a few jabs at Drizzy. Among the first to share their reactions were DJ Akademiks, Kai Cenat, and Adin Ross, and they didn’t hold back in the slightest.

Adin Ross Reminds ASAP Rocky He Hasn’t Dropped Since 2018

Adin Ross reacted to ASAP Rocky’s apparent Drake diss on “Show Of Hands,” and had some notes for the rapper. According to him, he’s a big fan of ASAP, but doesn’t think his suggestion that For All The Dogs “came and went” was fair. “You haven’t even dropped since 2018,” the streamer explained, defending Drake for consistently releasing music.

As for Kai Cenat, he was blown away by J. Cole’s unexpected feature, dropping to his knees almost immediately. “Oh my god it was their plan all along,” he said, “What the f*ck?” DJ Akademiks had a similar reaction. “I can’t believe it,” he explained. “You don’t know Drake is in a fight for his life?”

Deion Sanders Has Surprising Reaction To Daughter Deiondra’s Pregnancy With Jacquees

Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees announced last month that they are expecting a child, and received a whole lot of well-wishes as a result. While their relationship’s path was quite turbulent, it seems like they’re in a great place right now and ready to move forward with this heartening new chapter in their lives. Moreover, this announcement elicited a lot of different reactions of social media, but a lot of folks were waiting on Deiondra’s father, Deion Sanders, to share his two cents on the matter. In an interview with PEOPLE published Wednesday (April 10), the football and baseball legend shared some surprising thoughts.

First off, he admitted that there’s “not one thing” that excites him about becoming a first-time grandfather soon, and that he’s still letting the news sink in. “I haven’t digested that whole thing yet,” Eli Manning’s co-signee told the publication concerning his daughter’s pregnancy with Jacquees. “I’m proud of my baby that she’s at least waited until her thirties to give me this gift of life.” Also, Deion Sanders revealed that his top priority is to make sure that “she’s straight emotionally and psychologically as well.”

I am having my baby for all the times I was told I wouldn’t be able to.” “God is overly good!” he captioned a post of some sonogram pictures. “Colossal Blessings on the way!! LOOOOOK AT MY BABY!!! 18 weeks and 5 days!!! Lord I thank you!!”

Meanwhile, this follows Deion’s initial reaction to this announcement on social media. “PREACH BABY PREACH, and u having this baby to make me a darn GRANDDADDY even though I’m YOUNG. I Love u baby and I’m glad u said u ain’t having a baby to keep a man. You’ve always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY. Joe Budden Blasts J Cole For Kendrick Lamar Diss Response: “Call A Killer!”

Reactions to “7 Minute Drill,” J Cole’s clapback at Kendrick Lamar’s diss against him, have been pretty split among the hip-hop community. Everyone seems to be celebrating the back-and-forth as competitive spirit, but the jury’s still out on whether it was actually an appropriate, cutting, or worthwhile response. Joe Budden and the rest of the members of his podcast said during their latest episode that the Dreamville boss did not strike gold with this diss track as he likely wanted to. While there were a few different points here, the most salient and reoccurring one in their discussion was that Cole just doesn’t have the conviction or energy to back up this aggression.

“The tone,” Joe Budden remarked as to what his main problem with the verse was, or at least the point he and his cohosts discussed the most. “This is my issue with this f**&ing narcoleptic sounding s**t. This sounds like… if I was actively looking to cop fentanyl this is what I would put on. I want to hear him sound alive.” Regardless of this criticism, it seems like the surprise mixtape that J. Cole put “7 Minute Drill” on will still perform quite well.

The Joe Budden Podcast Discusses J Cole’s “7 Minute Drill”: Watch

Of course, commercial success doesn’t really get at the heart of most rap beef, especially between two lyricists who champion artistry and skill like J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar do. But this moment is easily one of the biggest in rap of 2024 so far, and no discussion on quality can take that away. Now all that’s left to prove is whether or not “The Big Three” will fully rise to the competitive occasion or just see this as a big moment for some quick engagement. With many others in the hip-hop world responding passionately to this confrontation, there’s a lot of pressure on them to perform.

On that note, we still haven’t (un-subliminally) heard from Drake, who arguably caught the brunt of K.Dot’s ire on “Like That” rather than the MC who actually responded. Maybe his hypothetical response will have more fire than what Budden thought Cole had on “7 Minute Drill.” Do you think it’s a worthy comparison point or did the North Carolina spitter satisfy your hunger? Let us know in the comments and keep checking in with HNHH for more on Joe Budden, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole.

DJ Akademiks Blasts J Cole Over Kendrick Lamar Diss: “Pick Another Angle!”

Today, J Cole dropped off a new album by surprise, Might Delete Later. The unexpected offering includes various high-profile features, but what’s got fans talking the most is its 12th and final track, “7 Minute Drill.” On the song, Cole goes after Kendrick Lamar, plowing through his discography with words for each album.

“I got a phone call that said somebody was dissing… Your first sh*t was classic, your last sh*t was tragic… your 2nd sh*t put n**gas to sleep but they gassed it… Your 3rd sh*t was massive hit that was your prime… I was trailing right behind but I just now hit mine,” he rhymes. Of course, this appears to be a response to Kendrick’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s track “Like That,” which went viral for his jabs at Cole and Drake.

DJ Akademiks Isn’t Impressed

As expected, fans and critics alike have been vocal about the diss since it dropped, and DJ Akademiks was one of the first to chime in. According to him, Cole didn’t do much at all and needs to step it up. “Listen, Kendrick’s focused on quality, y’all have done quantity,” he said during a recent stream. “You can’t clown him on the quality when you never focused on it. Pick another angle!” He went on, defending the albums Cole dissed on his song. “Let’s keep it a bean,” he begins. “Good Kid, M.A.A.D City washes your best album and the last four, and that’s Forest Hills Drive. DAMN washes it, and To Pimp A Butterfly is better than anything you’ve ever put out!”

“I don’t know who sent you out J Cole,” he also added. “But you came out crashing, and I don’t know if they gave you the perfect road map.” What do you think of J Cole dissing Kendrick Lamar on “7 Minute Drill”? TDE’s Punch Reacts To J Cole Dissing Kendrick Lamar & “To Pimp A Butterfly”

Well, rap’s newest cold war just turned into an all-out battlefield with J Cole’s diss against Kendrick Lamar, “7 Minute Drill,” on his surprise mixtape Might Delete Later. In it, the Dreamville boss took aim at the former TDE lyricist’s discography, his often absent and inconsistent presence in the hip-hop game, and some other hot takes. Of course, fans are reacting wildly to this online, opening up a lot of debates as Cole seems to claim the genre’s throne in the present day. In fact, there are even a couple of folks within the music industry which have given their thoughts on it already, including a very close partner on the affected side.

“SMH. I thought to pimp a butterfly was pretty good,” Punch expressed on Twitter, thus resulting in the first official response adjacent to Kendrick Lamar’s camp, specifically from TDE’s president. Furthermore, this lines up with K.Dot’s own diss against J. Cole and Drake on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” on which he took aim at their artistry above all. In addition, this is a curious claim from the North Carolina MC, considering that he and Kendrick collaborated on the “Black Friday” singles shortly after To Pimp A Butterfly and 2014 Forest Hills Drive‘s releases. Specifically, Cole said that TPAB “put n***as to sleep,” which was probably the hottest take on “7 Minute Drill” in many fans’ eyes.

Punch Reacts To J Cole’s TPAB Diss Against Kendrick Lamar

J. Cole rapped over the beat for Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” on these “Black Friday” singles, easily one of the biggest tracks off of TPAB. While that has little bearing now, he also made it very clear that he doesn’t have any real beef with Mr. Morale (who’s no longer on TDE), but that he’ll bar up if need be. However, some fans are also pointing out that most of Kendrick’s disses on “Like That” were more directed at Drake than at Cole. As such, fans are still waiting on an official response from the Toronto superstar more closely, although that seems more like an improbability with each passing day.

With all this in mind, what do you think about the “7 Minute Drill” diss and these reactions to it? Who do you think will come out on top at the end of the day, and will the “Savior” spitter fire back? Whatever the case, drop your thoughts down in the comments section below. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar.

Boosie Badazz Reacts To Playboi Carti “Thong” Photo: “You Thought About Getting Inserted”

We already know that Boosie Badazz has a disdain for other MCs snitching, but now, he’s having a field day over recent photos of Playboi Carti that went viral. In the images, the Whole Lotta Red artist appears to have either the back of an unbuttoned bodysuit, or a thong, hanging out the back of his pants. The entertainer is obviously free to wear what he wants, but some internet trolls felt uncomfortable after seeing the pictures, including Boosie.

As XXL notes, the garment isn’t women’s underwear at all, but actually appears to be a piece from Rick Owens’ collaboration with Champion, crafted to give the illusion of wearing a thong. While going Live on Instagram, the Louisana native shared his thoughts on Carti’s fashion. “You saw the boy just put a thong on, bro. Playboi Carti,” Boosie began. “He put a thong up his a**, bro. You mean to tell me a man put a thong up his a** and not think about being a female?” the 41-year-old asked in confusion.

According to Boosie, the “Magnolia” hitmaker is experiencing jealousy regarding his famous ex, Iggy Azalea and her bodacious bod, which she makes a killing showing off on OnlyFans. “I don’t understand it, bro. He must have been jealous of his baby mama,” Boosie’s rant continued. “Iggy’s a** is beautiful with a thong on. Did you get mad and go into competition? How did you go from looking at Iggy in a thong to putting one on?”

Yet another question that’s weighing heavily on Boosie Badazz’s mind lately is about Diddy, and why none of the Bad Boy mogul’s friends are speaking up for him amid the troubling allegations he’s facing. Read all about that at the link below, and check back in with HNHH later for more music/pop culture news updates.

R. Kelly Slams Diddy Sex Trafficking Investigation From Prison: “I Know What They Did”

Last week, Homeland Security raided two of Diddy’s mansions as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation, leaving the public in awe. Since then, the Bad Boy Records founder has been subject to even more scrutiny than usual, as countless social media users and peers share their reactions online. Most recently, R. Kelly even shared his thoughts on the debacle during a chat with Wack 100 on Clubhouse. He was critical of the investigation and others’ responses.

The sh*t is cr*zy. Motherf*ckers out there laughing and making comedian jokes and doing all the other sh*t on the radio and everything else, but they a** could be next,” he explained. “That’s what’s so f*cked up about. They so st*pid they don’t even realize the moves that’s going on. I don’t believe none of this sh*t. You could tell me about Puffy, you could about anybody. You could tell me on the news, the weather, the sky is blue, I’m not gonna believe the sh*t. Cause I’m in it now, and I know what they did.”

For those who don’t know, R. Kelly is currently in prison for crimes similar to those Diddy is accused of, including sex trafficking, lewd acts with a child, and more. R. Kelly isn’t the only inmate to weigh in Diddy’s allegations as of late, however. Another convicted felon, Suge Knight, also recently shared his take on the raids. “It’s a bad day for hip hop, for the culture, for Black people,” he said. “‘Cause when one look bad, we all look bad… That’s definitely nothing to cheer about. I’ll tell you what Puffy, your life is in danger… You know they’re gonna get you if they can.”

So far, listeners are enjoying the track and its accompanying visual, but Fletcher took to Twitter/X today to share her own thoughts.

Countless commenters told her that they didn’t believe the announcement, which appeared to be written in anger or annoyance. Moneybagg Yo even responded to the Tweet with several laughing emojis, telling her “never.”
