Still, others are less than forgiving, so when Patti LaBelle called Cardi B’s sister “Chardonnay” during a recent interview on The Tamron Hall Show (her real name is Hennessy Carolina), people wondered whether this would cause a thorn in her side. But for everyone assuming that it would, they clearly forgot that Patti LaBelle is an icon of soul and R&B, whose very presence around you should be an honor and a privilege. As such, Cabernet- I mean, Hennessy- took to her Instagram Story to reflect on this funny moment.

“If Patti calls me Chardonnay then Chardonnay it is [heart-covered face emoji] [heart emoji],” Hennessy remarked. It looks like they all just had a lot of fun together, as LaBelle was recalling when she and Cardi B linked up for a promo collab for their desserts. The 79-year-old even lovingly poked fun at Bardi’s Hispanic New York accent, shouted out her daughter Kulture and called them a “beautiful family.” In addition, she talked about how they always wanted to meet, how sweet their time was, and laughed at herself when Hall hysterically corrected the misnomer.

Meek Mill addressed the low album sales for his new collaborative project with Rick Ross, Too Good To Be True, on Twitter, Sunday. The posts come after HitsDailyDouble reported that the album will likely move between 30-35k copies in the first week. 

In his first post, Meek wrote: “It’s says me and Ross on pace to sell 35k first week I would post if it said 350k… I’m too nice and rich to be rapping in a control music environment that’s why we dropping music on Fridays it’s doesn’t make sense …. He and co-host Chad Johnson were discussing actress Yvonne Orji revealing that she’s still a virgin at the age of 39. A new clip of a man roasting a Brooklyn mural depicting various notable hip hop artists has gone viral. In the clip, the man highlights portraits of Jay-Z, Biggie, and more, mocking them for being unrealistic. Another artist depicted in the mural is Fabolous, but the man claims the portrayal doesn’t do him any justice. “Is this really supposed to be Fabolous?” he asks, suggesting that the painting could be any number of people, including Soulja Boy.

As the clip continues to make its rounds, Fabolous chimed in earlier this week, seeming to agree with the commentary. He weighed in in the comments section of the clip, claiming that the whole thing ought to be destroyed. “Nah what block is this?” he wrote alongside a laughing emoji. “We gotta knock this wall down.”

Fabolous Roasts Unrealistic Brooklyn Mural

Several fans also replied to Fabolous’ comment, poking more fun at the mural. This isn’t the only viral conversation the artist’s chimed into as of late, however. During an interview last week, he spoke on DJ Envy’s real estate scam allegations, claiming that he himself nearly invested. He recalled a phone call with the DJ, who sold it to him as a great opportunity to make some serious cash. According to him, he wasn’t all too convinced, and he never wound up investing.

“He was tellin’ me about some real estate stuff,” he began. “I’m just a guy that gotta see things through a little bit more. I don’t just get hyped at … y’know, it be a lotta ‘get money’ — I don’t want to call it a scam or a scheme — but a lotta ‘get money’ ideas that come to you, so I just gotta see ’em through. After joining the Lakers for their playoff return last season, Thompson is back to playing regular-season basketball this year. The former fourth-overall pick was signed to fill out the Cavs bench this season and is playing some decent minutes. At the time of writing, Thompson has 11.2 minutes per game, with six games played.
