Troy Ave Won’t Drop Uncle Murda Response Track Out Of “Love & Respect,” DJ Self Claims

Uncle Murda recently unleashed his annual “Rap Up,” throwing jabs over some of the most scandalous hip-hop moments of 2023. He took aim at Diddy, Gunna, Will Smith, Blueface, and many more in the three-part series. As expected, the songs ruffled quite a few feathers. One person who was less than thrilled about the NYC native’s comments was Troy Ave. He got accused of snitching on Taxstone amid their legal drama.

“Troy Ave really went to court and got on the stand,” Uncle Murda raps. “N***a snitched on Taxstone ’cause he bodied his man.” Troy Ave took to Instagram to respond to the diss shortly after the song dropped. “Damn do I gotta ‘WRAP this n***a UP,’” he wrote. According to DJ Self, however, this wasn’t all the Brooklyn-born rapper had to say about the insult.

DJ Self Plays Snippet From Troy Ave’s Response

In a new clip, the personality reveals that Troy Ave actually fired back in a diss track, but he doesn’t plan on releasing it. “Troy Ave has expressed to me that he has a response to the response of Uncle Murda’s response, do that make sense?” he explained. DJ Self continued, sharing that out of the “love and respect he has for Uncle Murda,” he has decided not to drop the song. “He said he recorded something because he’s an artist, and artists, you know, they pen [their] words down.”

He went on, describing how he didn’t believe Troy Ave at first, prompting the performer to play the song for him over the phone. DJ Self then said that he captured the end of the song in a recording, playing it for listeners. What do you think of DJ Self claiming that Troy Ave made a response to Uncle Murda’s “Rap Up 2023” diss? How does it sound? Do you think he should put the track out? Uncle Murda Ropes In 6ix9ine, Cam’ron, Nelly & More In “Rap Up 2023” Part 3

Uncle Murda finally wrapped up his “Rap Up 2023” series, one which warranted three different songs to execute. For those unaware, he does this every year: a summary of a lot of hip-hop and pop culture moments that went down in a given year. In this new third installment for 2023, the rapper gives his take on Kodak Black, Jonathan Majors, the submersible fiasco, Southside and G Herbo’s interview with Funny Marco, Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s divorce, and so much more. Even the Israel and Palestine conflict got a mention. He also paid tribute to some fallen entertainment figures this year, such as Lance Reddick, Gillie Da Kid’s son, Jacky Oh!, and Harry Belafonte.

On the first part of “Rap Up 2023,” Uncle Murda took shots at Blueface, Chrisean Rock, Sexyy Red, the Young Thug trial, and a whole lot more. In fact, it’s quite difficult to sum these cuts up, and this latest edition is no different with its rapid-fire references and connections. Of course, that’s part of the fun of songs like this, as they glue us to what is said more than a lot of contemporary hip-hop is doing these days. At least he treated these topics with relative “objectivity,” but he obviously has particular interpretations about these scandals and headlines.

For example, Troy Ave responded to Uncle Murda mentoning him on “Rap Up 2023,” in reference to his legal battle with Taxstone. As it turns out, Troy wasn’t too happy with the shoutout, which is probably a common sentiment, although it’s probably a message sent in jest to a fun pop culture moment these days. “Damn do I gotta WRAP this n***a UP,” he wrote on Instagram. This is what the G-Unit had to say about the rapper.

Troy Ave really went to court and got on the stand,” he rapped. “N***a snitched on Taxstone ’cause he bodied his man. You supposed to keep it in the streets, I hate when n***as tell on n***as. I don’t f**k with Taxstone but I don’t be wishing jail on n***as. Troy Ave lost his chain on that night all that s**t happened. But it was fake, seven years later found out Maino had it.” For more news and the latest updates on Uncle Murda, check back in with HNHH.

50 Cent Praises Uncle Murda For Blasting Diddy On “Rap Up 2023 Pt. 2”

With the new year officially underway, Uncle Murda has finally come through with his annual “Rap Up,” airing out some of the most scandalous hip-hop moments of 2023. The NYC native decided that just one track wasn’t enough to cover everything, unleashing a part two yesterday. The performer rhymes about Will Smith, Jada Pinkett, Keefe D, and more in the second installment. Of course, he also threw in plenty of bars about Cassie’s sexual assault allegations against Diddy.

“He was controlling her, had her on some scared shit/ Paying other n***as to f*ck her while he watch, that’s some weird sh*t,” he spits. “I’m like, did he do it? Did he drug her? Did he rape her?/ If you ain’t do the sh*t Diddy, why did you pay her?” He even took aim at Diddy’s current fling, Yung Miami, claiming that she only received a BET Award last year because he “paid for that.”

50 Cent Thinks Uncle Murda’s 2023 Rap Up “Went Cr*zy”

For those who don’t know, 50 Cent has also been one of Diddy’s biggest critics amid his various lawsuits, frequently putting the Bad Boy Records founder on blast on social media. He’s made countless insinuations about his sexuality, and even announced that he has a new project in the works detailing the allegations. All of the proceeds from the project, which he’s jokingly dubbed Surviving Diddy, will go to victims of sexual assault.

With that being said, Fif was sure to appreciate Uncle Murda’s take on the debacle. He took to Instagram shortly after the song dropped, sharing a snippet from the video targeting Diddy. “2023 Rap up @unclemurda went cr*zy [smiling emojis] @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi,” he captioned the post. What do you think of 50 Cent’s reaction to Uncle Murda dissing Diddy on “Rap Up 2023 Pt. 2?” Are you a fan of the track? As is tradition at this point, Uncle Murda summarized a lot of pop culture and hip-hop’s biggest events of the year on his new song “Rap Up 2023.” However, in contrast to previous years, it looks like this is actually part one of three, the next of which will hopefully come in the near future. As such, we know that he has so much more to talk about when it comes to some of the last 365 days’ biggest stories, perhaps over the same sample of Mary J. Blige’s “All Night Long.” Moreover, when it comes to the song, there’s not a lot to say here. The beat is classic New York all the way and the G-Unit rapper’s flows and delivery is a little choppy.

Still, that’s understandable considering all the different topics that come up on the first part of “Rap Up 2023.” Blueface, Chrisean Rock, Sexyy Red, Andre 3000’s new album, Offset, Cardi B, Donald Trump, Jamie Foxx, Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Baby, and so many more get a mention here for their various headlines. There’s also the Remy Ma and Papoose cheating drama, Keke Palmer’s scandal with Darius Jackson, the Lizzo lawsuits, Boosie and T.I.’s relationship, and the list goes on. Not everyone’s a fan of these cuts, but it’s at least entertaining to hear these takes and the stories link together. The Brooklyn MC held no punches through controversial assessments and wild claims.

Meanwhile, he also hinted at fully diving into the Diddy accusations in the next parts of this installment. Kanye West’s ghostwriter was still able to fit a lot into this track. Other celebrities include Da Brat, Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert, Nicki Minaj and Elliott Wilson, etc. We won’t spoil his observations. Justina Valentine Recaps The Year’s Biggest Ups & Downs On Her “2023 Rap Up” Freestyle

We’ve made it to the final day of 2023, and what better way to recap the rollercoaster ride of the past 12 months than a new freestyle from Justina Valentine. For the past few years, she’s been teaming up with The Shade Room to summarize past events as only she can. If you ask us, the latest edition may be the famous redhead’s best work yet, as she covers everything from Blueface and Chrisean Rock to Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan.

“What a tangled web some have spun / Larsa Pippen out here dating Michael Jordan’s son,” Valentine spits early on in the song. “I know he inside the box like Roddy / Somebody better check on Scottie,” she adds, mentioning the Real Housewives cast member’s athlete husband, who she reportedly slept with multiple times each night throughout their marriage.

Other hot topics the Wild ‘n Out cast member rhymes about in the video above include Yung Miami’s love for golden showers, Rihanna’s iconic Super Bowl Halftime performance (and subsequent pregnancy announcement), and Ja Morant’s troublesome stint with the NBA after flashing weapons on social media more than once. That was all in the first few months of the year, with events like the Montgomery brawl, Chris Brown and Usher’s alleged scuffle, and Keke Palmer’s baby daddy drama after wearing a sexy dress to the latter R&B’s Las Vegas residency all came after, and that doesn’t even touch on the second half of 2023.

Do you think Justina Valentine killed it on her “2023 Rap Up”? If yes, you can add the lengthy freestyle to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. Uncle Murda Responds To Trick Daddy Calling Him A “Clown,” 50 Cent Chimes In

In social media beefs you didn’t expect to see, things are getting tense between Trick Daddy and Uncle Murda. There wasn’t much rumbling from these two until Trick took to his cooking show to let off some steam. “And I’mma tell y’all somethin’ right now,” the music veteran said. “Viral is something that you do accidentally. Anybody that tries to go viral, you are considered, to me, as a clown. You’re a joke, you’re a fool, you’re a gimmick, you’re a fraud. You catfish. Viral is something that is supposed to happen accidentally unless you’re a content creator unless you’re an actor, unless you a clown that do magic tricks.”

Each year, Murda recaps what occurred with his “Rap Up” roundup. He targets just about anyone in entertainment, and Trick has found his name mentioned. In 2021, Murda called Trick a “cokehead” for negatively speaking about Beyoncé’s vocal talents. It’s obviously something that didn’t sit well.

“You mention the dead, you mention victims, you mention everybody, you mention people’s money, wives, children. You’re disrespectful and that’s clown sh*t,” Trick Daddy further stated. He also called Murda “the No. 1 clown for the last five years.” He added, “You said my name, and I didn’t say nothing about it because I didn’t want this to be about me. It’s not about me. This is about everybody that feel like they don’t have the voice to say something to you. I’m gon’ say something to you and I stand on what I said.”

The remarks made their way to Murda’s desk, and he happily reposted the clip of Trick’s show. In the caption, he also added, “This sh*t got me rolling 😂😂 Dammmm all that my n*gga @trickdaddydollars mad at me cause I called him a coke head #RapUp2023Intro.” The comment section quickly lit up, and 50 Cent dropped by to say what many others were thinking.

50 Cent Predicts Next “Rap Up”

“LOL 😆😆😆He just got him self in the next wrap up !” Fif stated. It looks like we’ll have to wait another ten months to hear Uncle Murda’s next “Rap Up,” but we can almost guarantee Trick Daddy’s name will make an appearance. Check out the clip of Trick above.

Bishop Lamor Whitehead Challenges Uncle Murda To A Fight After “Rap Up” Diss

Uncle Murda’s latest “Rap Up” track caused a storm online as we head into 2023. One of his targets was Bishop Lamor Whitehead, which might raise some eyebrows if that name’s new to you. Moreover, suspects robbed Whitehead’s service and federal authorities later arrested him for fraud. Furthermore, church members claimed that he scammed them out of thousands of dollars. While this was an unfortunate one-two punch for the pastor, the New York MC wasted no time in taking aim on his track.

“Man, n***as ran up in the church like it’s a stickup,” Murda rapped. “It was only 8 people in there when the robbed the bishop / When I heard about it, real talk, I burst out laughing / God don’t like ugly that’s why he let that s**t happen / He was out here scamming people in the name of God / Feds came and locked up him I know he was a fraud / He be dressing like a rapper, that s**t ain’t even funny / He be buying Louis and Gucci with them people money.”

After the song exploded online due to its jabs at Freddie Gibbs and a Bobby Shmurda diss, Whitehead isn’t having any of it. “Join Me Live @12:30Pm Today On IG And Facebook,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “I Will Be Responding To [Uncle Murda] About The Rap Up 2022 Song! I thought We Was Cool. [50 Cent] I Have A Proposal For You!

“Put The Bag Up For Your Boy @unclemurda And Let’s Meet In The Boxing Ring!” he wrote. Also, he tagged a slew of accounts including The Shade Room, BET, Power 105, Drink Champs, Fat Joe, Floyd Mayweather, Showtime Boxing, and more. He really wanted this to be seen, apparently. In a subsequent story post, Whitehead wrote “Sometimes You Have To Just Laugh!”

Furthermore, the church figurehead went live and aired out his frustrations with Uncle Murda. Moreover, he had a pretty light tone as he discussed other rappers, his relationship with the Brooklyn MC, and more. Funnily enough, this isn’t the first time he’s tried to get in the ring because of beef.

What do you think of Bishop Lamor Whitehead’s challenge to Uncle Murda? Moreover, do you think the Brooklyn MC will take it up and stand by his diss? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay logged in to HNHH for the latest beef, Internet call-outs, and potential showdowns in the rap game.

Bobby Shmurda Reacts To Being Mentioned In Uncle Murda’s “Rap Up 2022”

2022 came to a close rather quickly. We’re already four days into 2023 and are patiently awaiting some highly-anticipated music releases this year.

However, 2022 didn’t end without a bombshell from Uncle Murda. Sticking to tradition, the New York rapper dropped off his annual “Rap Up” song on New Year’s Eve.

Sprawling across the track’s 15-minute runtime, the 42-year-old doesn’t hold back when addressing the various events that transpired over the course of the past 12 months in both hip-hop and pop culture.

One of the many artists he mentions is Bobby Shmurda. Namely, he addresses the beef between the “Hot N*gga” rapper and NBA YoungBoy earlier last year.

“NBA Youngboy had Rich The Kid shook / Over a little picture with Lil Durk that he took / Hope he know Bobby Shmurda and Rich The Kid different / Bobby will really boom you, n*gga, watch who you mention,” he raps within the first verse.

The Past Beef

It all began in November when Rowdy Rebel decided to speak out against the tragic murder of King Von. Specifically, he shares his thoughts on Lul Tum, the alleged killer and affiliate of both Quando Rondo and YoungBoy. “When King Von died, that Lul Tim n*gga, he didn’t have to get out of the car and start squeezing right away. You already got yours drawn,” says the “Computers” rapper.

“His mind off the rip went to kill. How you went to kill? How much hate you have already to kill this man?” he questions afterwards.

The Baton Rouge native subsequently replied in an Instagram Story. “I see why n*ggas irrelevant today “Be trying to make all the sense thinking what they saying real but sounding stupid asf[.]” Just mind yo businesses And stop the violence,” he says, before signing off as “Quando[‘s] big brother.”

The “Hot N*gga” rapper later shared his own two cents, seemingly dissing YoungBoy and Rondo in the process.

“Stop telling me about your brother’s shooters and your brother’s this – what the f*ck do you do? Huh? When are you finally gonna do something?” he questions.

Shmurda’s Reaction

Regardless of the past beef, Shmurda has since shared his thoughts on being mentioned in Murda’s year-end song. Evidently, he finds it humorous and simultaneously insists he’s a changed man. In an Instagram Live video, he reacts to hearing Murda dropping his name in the track for the first time. “Murda, I’m a changed man. I’m a changed man. I’m different, man. I’m tryna change, Murda. I ain’t tryna boom nobody no more,’ he pleads during the video.
