Megan Thee Stallion Provokes Drake Beef With Alleged “HISS” Disses

It seems like Megan Thee Stallion and Drake still have some tension going on, or at least that’s how fans are interpreting the former’s new single “HISS.” Moreover, DJ Akademiks recently took to social media platforms to point out a series of bars on the record that apparently got many fans theorizing. Of course, as an avid Drizzy stan and Meg hater, we’re not surprised that the media personality pushed that narrative. But it appears to be a common sentiment, one that first came up after the Toronto artist’s apparent reference to the Houston MC’s “lies” on his track “Circo Loco.” Nevertheless, here’s what she said on “HISS.”

“All these lil’ rap n***as so fraud, Xanax be they hardest bars,” Megan Thee Stallion raps. “These n***as hate on BBLs and be walkin’ ’round with the same scars. Real curvy, no edgin’, n***as fight to get in my section, don’t speak on my body count if the d**k ain’t worth comin’ back for seconds. Cosplay gangsters, fake-a** accents, posted in another n***a hood like a bad b***h.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s New Bars On “HISS”

Furthermore, the Xanax bar could reference Drake’s infamous bar on “SICKO MODE,” about the 13-hour flight to Japan, whereas his diss at Megan Thee Stallion involved the BBLs that she references. In addition, he puts on a lot of voices in his music, so there are definitely enough connections here to give this credence. Of course, Meg has a lot more pressing matters on her mind right now, namely the more important target of this diss. It looks like she and 6ix God associate Nicki Minaj are fully kicking off their direct beef, and some more diss cuts are likely on the way.

Meanwhile, even Cardi B got dragged into that conversation, so we might be on the cusp of a civil war. Who do you think will come out on top concerning all this? Whatever the case, drop your thoughts in the comments section down below. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake and Megan Thee Stallion.

Shaq Didn’t Know About Damian Lillard Involvement On “Shaq & Kobe”

Shaq didn’t know that Damian Lillard was going to be involved in the remix of “Shaq & Kobe” by Rick Ross and Meek Mill. “Rick sent it to me first, so I didn’t even have his permission. So, I just looped it and I went in and I was like, ‘I hope you like it.’ And I sent it to him. He said, ‘Man, you did that fast.’ So, then he hit me back, ‘Can I use it?’ And I was like, ‘Sure.’ And then he got really too professional on me — he started sending paperwork. I said, ‘Bro, you don’t need to. I don’t want no money.’ I’m like, ‘Rick, I don’t want nothing, bro.’ I’m just thankful for the opportunity to be on the song. And then when I heard Dame on it, I was like, ‘Mother effer, mother effer,’” Shaq told The Hollywood Reporter.

Shaq and Lillard have had a light-hearted beef for the last few years. They traded diss tracks in recent years as they compete for the title of “best rapper/athlete”. “In the rap game, I take it personal when they say somebody else is better than me and [you know] the name I’m talking about. So listen, I love him, good friend of mine, but I have to make sure they say, ‘Shaq is the best rapper/athlete ever.’ Ain’t no ‘Shaq and…’ Look, it’s just all fun. I don’t want to be a rapper. I tried it and the money, it was cool, but I was making more money doing other things. It’s just to drop something, go viral, read the comments,” the Hall of Famer continued in his interview with THR.

Magic Announce Shaq Jersey Retirement

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic recently announced that Shaq’s jersey will be the first to be retired by the team. “On behalf of the DeVos family and myself and all of us here at the Orlando Magic, we want to congratulate you as we make you the first jersey number retired in the history of the Orlando Magic. You had a great career here at the beginning of your career and we had some great times!” Magic CEO Alex Martins told Shaq on Inside the NBA. Furthermore, the jersey retirement is set for February 13.

Shaq was the Magic’s first-overall pick in the 1992 Draft and helped turn the team into a serious contender in the mid-90s. Addtionally, that included a Finals run in 1995, Shaq’s third season in the league. However, Shaq’s time in Orlando would only last until 1996 when he joined the Lakers in free agency. Shaq would later say that he felt like a “big fish in a dried-up pond” in Orlando. After leaving the Magic, Shaq would go on to win four NBA titles – three with the Lakers and one with the Heat.

JAY-Z “Double-Dipped” From Roc-Nation, Dame Dash Alleges

Dame Dash has accused JAY-Z of “double-dipping” from Roc-Nation. “Make another HOV? Why the f-ck would I make another HOV? He was double dipping. We were paying him highly as an artist and he was double dipping from the company and it didn’t make me a lot of money. He did not generate $100million a year for me — I don’t want to make another HOV,” Dame said on his America Nu podcast.

However, Dame wasn’t finished. “I did make a Kanye, a Cam’ron, pause, or help. And you know, after you do that I don’t have to do anything else. But what I did do was the next year, I started another company called Rachel Roy and it generated over $100million a year. So, I didn’t make another HOV, I made another $100million company,” he continued.

Dame Dash Accuses JAY-Z Of Musical Theft

Furthermore, this is just the most recent accusation that Dame has made about Hov. In December, Dame accused Jay-Z of stealing from other artists. “Jay had a pattern of jacking n-ggas records. Jay has a [track] record of getting on a record after it gets hot and now he can perform that record and now it sounds like he made that record — that was his model … That’s f-cked up to the person that [made the song],” Dame claimed. His comments were made in defense of Cam’ron deleting a Hov verse from “Oh Boy”.

Despite this, Young Guru came to the defense of Hov. “CAP on this narrative that jay STEALS songs 1. Jay got “I just want to love you” directly from Pharrell and made the song from scratch. Sparks says a Rick James hook. 2. “Can I get” was Irv’s idea, literally said “Jay get on this record but please keep JA” I love you OG but nah,” Guru wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Do you agree with JAY-Z or Dame Dash? Let us know in the comments.

Asian Doll Accuses Kash Doll Of “Stealing Her Flow”

Asian Doll has co-signed accusations aimed at Kash Doll in regards to “stealing” Asian’s flow on a recent track. “This is literally not cool & I fasho feel a way!!! LITERALLY MY WHOLE FLOW” Asian wrote in a now-deleted tweet. However, whether Kash stole Asian’s flow is debatable. The beats are very similar but it would it is something of a stretch to say that it’s beat for beat theft.

The focal flows in question are Kash’s “Power”, released earlier this week, and Asian’s “Talk My Sh-t”, which was released last month. This may put the pair on the warpath despite previously being on good terms. In April 2021, Asian posted a picture from a link-up with Kash. This remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates as and when they emerge.

Asian Doll Slams King Von Documentary

Back in 2023, Asian Doll was no stranger to beef. In now-deleted tweets, Asian hit back about Rap’s First Serial Killer, calling it “not true.”. She also argued, “How They Tell A Story About Somebody That DIED before he could tell his own.” Furthermore, the second tweet reposted to Instagram by theneighborhoodtalk is in reference to a claim that the documentary isn’t saying anything that King Von hadn’t already said. As a top comment on the documentary reads, “The wild part is folks can’t be mad at dude for making this documentary the same information he’s sharing is the same information that Von HIMSELF and his peers put out there, NOBODY ELSE. This information was already there he just cumulated all of it into one complete video.” Despite this belief, Asian makes a valid point.

The claim that Von was a “serial killer” is a heavily disputed one. Aside from the Stuckey murder that he was acquitted of, Von was attached to two other murders. He was arrested in 2019 in connection with the robbery and murder of Alexander Witherspoon in Atlanta. Von was released on a $300,000 bond. Additionally, in 2021, nearly a year after Von’s death, Chicago police labeled Von as responsible for the 2014 murder of Gakirah “K.I.” Barnes. However, they stated that they had been unable to prosecute him due to a lack of cooperating witnesses. Despite this, and whatever supporters of the documentary may have, Von’s case will forever be unsolved. Unless full-proof evidence emerges, the claims that he was a “serial killer” are merely theories.

NLE Choppa’s Mom Calls Out Blueface

The mother of NLE Choppa has called out Blueface amid the rapper’s feud with her son. She took issue with Blue calling out her son saying, “Y’all was just playing on the internet. There was never meant to be an actual fight.” Furthermore, she warned Blue to “keep my name out of y’all bullsh-t”. However, the response led many to declare that Blueface had “won” because Choppa had gotten his mom involved. However, it’s unclear if Choppa directly got his mom involved, or if she stepped in as the internet went after her son.

Choppa himself responded to Blue on Saturday. “I challenged you to a fight, so why you got a flyer with my face on and a website? I’m seeing this and I’m just thinking, ‘Nah, this is some clout-chasing’. You got a flyer with my face on and a website that you got people clicking on for a pre-order or some sh-t,” Choppa said on Instagram. Blue is yet to respond either Choppa or his mom.

Blueface Owes $14M In Strip Club Settlement

Elsewhere, legal documents obtained by TMZ indicate that Blueface has not yet paid the $13M settlement he owes to a Las Vegas strip club. Furthermore, the settlement now totals over $14.3M due to interest. The ruling came down in favor of Euphoric Gentleman’s Club in October 2023. While Blue escaped jail time for his role in the 2022 shooting, he could not escape a financial penalty.

However, it appears that Blue is intent on not paying. He recently bought a house for Jaidyn Alexis, although Chrisean Rock disputes the purchase. He was also seen making it rain at an impromptu strip club he set up at a Rams game late last year. Unless a court chooses to intervene to enforce the ruling, the owner of the now-shuttered club will simply have to watch the owed amount rise.

NLE Choppa & Blueface Celebrity Boxing Match Might Happen If Former Has His Way

New year, same old antics. After witnessing the rollercoaster that was Blueface’s 2023, internet users were hopeful the 26-year-old would turn over a new leaf in 2024. Unfortunately, he’s been on his usual BS since January 1, from dropping a remix of a Jaidyn Alexis hit that he allegedly penned in the first place, to antagonizing Chrisean Rock by continuing to insult their baby boy publicly. Because he’s currently serving a suspended sentence concerning his Las Vegas shooting case, Blue has more pressure on his shoulders than ever before to behave and restrain himself from getting in trouble. Still, he looks to be teetering on the edge of total demise, and he has NLE Choppa ready to square up against him after the MILF Music founder dropped bars about him on his latest verse.

In the early hours of Thursday (January 4), the Cottonwood artist put out a tweet requesting someone set up an official fight between him and Blue. “Let’s box @bluefacebleedem 👿,” Choppa’s tweet begins. “Who can set up a celebrity boxing match in Vegas [between] me and him? Hit me ASAP. He undefeated vs. women, [I don’t] respect a ni**a that put his hands on ’em anyway!”

Blueface and NLE Choppa Bring Their Beef Into the New Year

As unbecoming as it is, there are several recent instances of women in Blue’s life claiming to suffer from physical abuse at his hands. The “Thotiana” artist apparently got physical with both Alexis and Rock after “rescuing” Junior from the latter’s friend’s care, not to mention him allegedly attempting to put his hands on Marsh while she was taking care of his son.

Elsewhere in the news, Blueface continues to deny being the father of his youngest child, Junior, leaving his second baby mama seriously upset. While going Live on IG from the studio recently, she teased her remix of Sexyy Red’s “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad),” and spoke out about her little boy spending time with Blue’s father. Playboi Carti’s Diss Track Has Benji Blue Bills Dipping From The Studio, “Whole Lotta Red” Rapper Seems Unbothered In New Selfie

Benji Blue Bills didn’t appreciate someone starting up Playboi Carti’s new diss track about him. “Turn that sh-t off,” Benji could be heard yelling as he stormed out of the studio he was working in. Of course, the pair have been beefing for a while now. However, Benji’s reaction feels a little dramatic given he dropped an entire response to Carti’s “I’m looking for Benji” diss. What did you think of the diss? Let us know in the comments.

However, Carti appeared unbothered by the drama as he dropped a new selfie on Instagram. Many fans were wowed by the image, with several going as far as to ask for Carti’s skincare routine. Elsewhere, Carti is still building the hype surrounding his upcoming album, although details about the project remain scarce.

Iggy Azalea Goes After Playboi Carti For Home Video

However, Benji Blue Bills isn’t the only person feuding with Carti. After a VHS-style home video of Carti spending time with his son went viral online, Iggy Azalea took to X to express how she felt about the father-son moment. “Its cool how you can fit damn near every visit into just one video 🤍 Talented!” Azalea wrote in direct response to one post of the video. Azalea’s implication appears to be that Carti doesn’t spend enough time with Onyx and thus can fit all of his father-son time into a concise 2:40-long video.

However, fans on the whole weren’t taking Azalea’s side in the matter. “RESPECT CARTI HES OUR GLORIOUS KING,” one Carti fan wrote. “Probably cause you don’t let him hang out with him,” added another, directly addressing Azalea’s claims. “This was special for everybody and you had to ruin it,” lamented a third. Of course, Azalea’s die-hard fanbase quickly rushed to her defense, leading to a pitched battle of Carti stans and Iggy stans in the comments section. However, Carti himself has not responded to Azalea’s comments.

The Game Explains His 2014 Beef With Lil Durk

The Game has explained his side of events regarding his beef with Lil Durk all the way back in 2014. According to his interview with DJ Vlad, the short-lived feud between the pair started when The Game did a song with Tyga. Tyga was beefing with Lil Durk at the time. However, The Game stressed that the beef was incredibly short-lived and Game stated that they were laughing about it “months later”.

Furthermore, Game said he respects Durk for his authenticity as well as his success in the rap game. The two have never gone on to put together a collab or anything. However, it appears that it was just a brief feud that had the two going after each other. Additionally, it should be noted that nothing ever came of the beef and that it never extended beyond some terse exchanges of words. Be sure to watch Game’s full comments about the feud in the video below.

The Game Says The Feds Tried To Get Him To Snitch On Jimmy Henchman

Elsewhere, in the interview, Game revealed that the feds had tried to use him in the arrest of Jimmy Henchman. “They came to my doorstep and you know, threatened me with jail time and wanted me to go to New York and wanted me to do all this. But I was like, ‘Nah, I’m just gon lawyer up’ and that was that,” Game told DJ Vlad. He was prompted to share the story after Vlad revealed that the feds had come after him during Jimmy’s appeal. The authorities wanted Vlad’s tapes of his interview with Henchman.

James Rosemond, aka Jimmy Henchman, was originally arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment on drug trafficking and money laundering charges. However, he was later charged with crimes relating to the death of Lodi Mack. Found guilty on all charges, Jimmy received an additional life + 20 sentence. During his DJ Vlad interview, the rapper also said he “didn’t understand” how you can give someone “life plus 20”.

Charlamagne Tha God’s 50 Cent Praise Not Swaying Despite Rick Ross Criticism

Charlamagne Tha God has been sharing his opinions with the world for decades now, which is why he’s so comfortable standing in his integrity, even amid criticism from some of the biggest names in the industry. As we witness what appears to be the downfall of Diddy in real-time, The Breakfast Club host has enjoyed watching 50 Cent’s constant reaction posts land on social media, even labelling the Power producer a “diabolical genius” for how he’s handled the situation so far. While many would agree with Tha God, Rick Ross feels that the media personality is being a “d**k rider,” which he addressed during an episode of his New York radio show earlier this month.

“I stand by what I said. 50 Cent is absolutely a diabolical genius,” the 45-year-old told listeners. “If you look up the word diabolical and the definition of diabolical genius, then you know that is exactly what 50 Cent is. [Diabolical means] very evil but often intelligent. But most Cancers are that. We’re very sweet, very loving and we care about our people, but we do hate as hard as we love. So leave us alone,” Charlamagne continued, speaking on his and Fif’s shared zodiac sign.

50 Cent Still Has Charlamagne Gassing Him Up

Rather than throwing shade back at the “Not For Nothing” artist, Tha God went on to praise him too. “Now I will say too, Rick Ross is a mastermind as well. He’s a master marketer. And you know why? Because every video he posts, he’s promoting something. So even in that video, he’s promoting Belaire. And 50 does that too, by the way. Because if you gon’ go viral, add some value to it. So I respect both those brothers. They all have different levels of genius. And I wish everybody could just play nice. That’s what I wish,” Charlamagne poignantly reflected.

50 Cent is showing no signs of slowing down on trolling Diddy as more lawsuits against the music mogul roll out. Instead, he’s now adding Rick Ross into the mix, using some of the Biggest Boss’ lyrics to break down what’s going on with his contemporary at the moment. Lil Baby Disses Gunna During “Drip Too Hard” Performance: “F**k The Rats”

The YSL RICO trial has been giving us regular updates on Young Thug and his co-defendants from their Georgia courtroom, though we still don’t have answers on how the So Much Fun artist feels about his frequent collaborator, Gunna. His BUSINESS IS BUSINESS album includes some shady bars at the 30-year-old, but according to Thugger’s father, Jeffrey Williams’ family has no issues with the lyricist. Many major players in the industry made it known that Gunna isn’t in their social circle anymore, either by unfollowing him on social media or even publicly accusing him of snitching.

Lil Baby is one artist who’s been shading the “fukumean” hitmaker with reckless abandon, even throwing up the YSL symbol while spitting bars about rats earlier this fall. Before that, the father of two went viral when an unreleased snippet hit the internet, including lyrics that appear to reference Gunna’s plea deal. “Some ni**as taking pleas at trial / I know Slime ain’t happy,” Baby spits on the song, hinting that Thug didn’t approve of is “Hot” collaborator’s legal move.

Lil Baby Seemingly Fuels Gunna Feud

At a recent concert, Baby took things to a new level, appearing to call Wunna a “rat” when their hit single, “Drip Too Hard” came on. “F**k the rats, turn this s**t off,” the Southern star yelled as lights flashed and smoke filled the venue. It’s been a minute since the artists unfollowed each other on Instagram, but now that the YSL RICO trial is underway, it seems the My Turn artist wants to make his support for Thugger felt.

Gunna’s comeback from jail was anything but easy, despite the Atlanta-based artist finally having his freedom back. Luckily, he’s become a pro at ignoring the negativity and criticism in favour of focusing on his personal growth, as well as his new relationship.
